It is my 'local' salon - though some complain about need to walk through busy gym area, I find that once you whisked away into the treatment room you cant actually hear outside noise and can concentrate on relaxing ! I had lovely massage which eased knots in my shoulders. Definitely to be recommended, and especially with Wahanda vouchers, very good value for money !

The treatment and therapist were good, but it all started badly as I arrived well on time to find there were no receptionist, so I followed the instructions and left a message on the desk indicating that I had sat "round the corner", After waiting some 10-15mn, still no-one had come to fetch me so I went to find the therapists who were in their rooms.
Note of this unfortunate experience I had should be made and lessons learnt to encourage therapists to find their clients themselves at the appointed time as it is clear that the reception is shared with the fitness centre and the beauty receptionist spends time in an office outside the reception.

Venue looked a little worn down, the receptionist looked bored. I visited with my sister for a 'spa-day' pamper package and the steam room(?) was out of order on the day. We were both a bit disappointed.
Massage rooms were untidy but bearable.
Our massages were ok, we both opted for deep tissue but found the massages to be the usual 'relaxing' option and didn't really take away our aches. It was a bit off-putting when the therapists tried to up sell their treatments at the end when we were both half-asleep / relaxed.

Apart from the need to avoid weight lifting guys on the way to the treatment room, which is rather amusing- the experience with music, candles, decor was very relaxing and the deep tissue massage was very good as I have come to expect from the physiotherapists there.

Daiva did my massage and she was fantastic. I have been to Amber Beaty many times, and go back regularly. This was a great massage as i have terribly tense shoulders and neck, and she worked very well on them, a bit painful at first but well worth it.

The massage and facial themselves were great and the staff were really nice. However I found the venue poor for a relaxing massage treatment. Maybe arriving at lunchtime in the week is the reason, but the room I was in backed onto the main gym which was very noisy so i couldn't really zone out and relax.

This was a present for my sisters 50th birthday and we were both disappointed. This is NOT a pamper day. We specified we wanted a half hour treatment each, a massage and facial. On arrival had to sit in the gym which was noisy and then fetched and taken to the rooms just off the gym. The lady massaging me did not ask which type of massage I wanted and just went straight into it. It was ok. Wasn't offered a glass of water after the massage. The facial was ok, nothing special. The steam room was not working and the only other facility was a sauna. The whole "pamper day" lasted 1.5 hours. Feel like I was mis-sold this and wish I had read the reviews before I booked. If you want a pamper/spa day this is not the place.

We went to Amber on a deal for a shellac mani pedi. If we had paid full price we would have been very disappointed, and I actually would have complained about the quality of the manicure in particular. The facilities are probably what you would expect from a mid-range london hotel (located in the basement by the gym, a bit shabby round the edges, could do with an update, not 'luxurious' in the slightest) and the therapist was pleasant enough. It's not where you would go if you were after a pamper or for a special occasion. Importantly though, the treatment is not up to the standard of others I've had from other spas. I will stick to spas where I know they do a good job in future, and won't be going back. In short, if you have a deal and want a quick treatment, then it's so-so, but don't expect anything special.

The sight is a bit hard to find as it's hidden underground in a huge building but once I got there it was nice. The member of staff was very well knowledgable and immediately made you feel welcome. She explained everything well but the best thing the neck and head massage she gave me while the peel was on y face. It was the best. The room was amazing. I left with my face clean and glowing and feeling so much better after. Only thing is I learnt that in order to feel the full benefits u need repeat treatments, so at £40 each that's impossible. They need to lower that right down if they want repeat custom. But it was worth coming that one time x

Very deep massage, helped with the knots in my back and shoulders. This was posted on behalf of my husband who had the treatment. Would come back again for a different treatment.

Great value for money offer. Advised to arrive 10 mins beforehand, to be kept waiting for no apparent reason for 20 mins - eating into our massage time. Advised to bring swimsuit to enjoy full facilities - showers not working! Sauna broken! so what facilities . . . Therapy rooms were cold, so not very enjoyable. I decided to treat myself and 2 daughters to a full swedish body massage. Really looking forward to our 45 min each treat! As we were kept waiting before our allocated time, 2 of us had a 30 min massage, only focusing on the back, whilst 1 of us had a full body massage, for the full 45 mins, well, at least 1 of us got what we paid for. Really poor communication between the staff and a very laid back attitude on time keeping - that being said, still good value and the therapists were very polite and nice - would seriously consider if I would go again though and wouldn't recommend, such a shame, sorry !

I enjoyed my treatment and the Ren products left my skin really soft as well as smelling lovely. The therapist was very friendly and helpful. The only downsides are that the therapy room is in the gym, so unfortunately when I had to go and shower after the scrub I had to walk through the gym in a towel which was very strange and made me a bit uncomfortable. They need to have a shower closer to the therapy room. But despite all that the treatment was lovely but wouldn't return for this particular treatment.

Basement of hotel, side room of 1 room gym. Therapy room v professional and comfortable massage bed. Massage was gentle. Professional therapist. My hair got a bit oily and had to wash it afterwards even though I tied it up.

A convenient one off 25 min massage to try.

The location of the spa isn't great and not what I expected from such a nice hotel as it is in the middle of a gym and I had to walk through the gym before an after my treatment in order to get from the relaxing seating area (although noise from the gym can be heard) to the treatment room. The treatment room was clean, nice and peaceful. The therapist kindly asked me what pressure I would like for my massage and was able to identify problem areas. The massage was relaxing and the therapist was lovely. Having to walk through the gym does ruin the ambience of a relaxing spa though.

I was there for 1.5 hours and the therepist, though her english wasnt too good was really good, and very professional.
the manicure went well, though the pedicure was a little uncomfortable. I sat in the same seat has my manicure and had to rest my foot on her lap. this was fine but got a little uncomfortable so a higher bench type seat would have been much more ideal for 45minutes.

2 weeks later my pedicure is still perfect, though my nails started to peel a few days ago, though i was swimming in the sea and doing all sorts on holiday so didnt expect them to last as long as they did.

Over all I was happy with my treatments, though there were a few rough edges on my fingers which i had to try not to touch to ensure any premature peeling etc.

Not sure I would go back but it was very good value for money!
