Massage was good enough. Staff asked me for the voucher which I did not have as this was not a voucher based booking. This was a directly booked appointment and therefore no paper confirmation was needed. This made me uncomfortable as a received this treatment as a gift from my kids for Mother's Day. Had to phone my kids to sort this out.

Hi there, please be assured that it is standard practice for our front desk to ask for vouchers from all of our guests and was certainly not done to make you feel uncomfortable. I hope you take the opportunity to use your New Client Voucher you were given on your departure. We look forward to seeing you soon.

They first tried to give me a facial instead of a massage. They then only gave me part of what I paid for. The lady at the counter then said that it was not their fault they did not deliver as per the booking. Instead of giving me a refund they have made me contact wahanda and do the running around instead of them just delivering what I have paid for....overall not good client service

Hi Rebecca, I am sorry that you were not happy with the service we provided you with. As I explained to you when you left the spa, there had obviously been some confusion as to what had been booked as the booking had been made online at around 11.15pm on the Friday (when the front desk is unmanned) for the very next day (Saturday) in the morning. The only information the spa received was a booking for a one hour massage, which we carried out. I believe you thought there was a body wrap involved in the treatment but I am unsure why you thought that as we do not have any treatments that include a wrap with a massage. However, it was supposed to include hot poultice, and you did not receive the hot poultice, for which I apologise for. I was not being difficult when I said you would have to contact Wahanda direct for a refund on the extra £10 you paid for this - that is standard procedure for all guests who book directly with Wahanda.

The staff was very polite and professional. The venue was easy to find, just at the beginning of the main road, the ambience was really clean.

the staff and feel of the place is good. but the wax was not the best i;ve had. a lot of the hairs just broke due to the technique she used and so grew back quite quickly. she also used the same wooden spatula to dip in the big pot of wax throughout the whole thing and so germs could easily be spread to the next person.

The spa is close to tube and right on the main road. It was lovely inside and the scrub was quite nice. The skin was bright after the treatment. Will go back

I was so impressed with my deep cleansing facial treatment at Amara Spa. Performed by the wonderfully endearing Henrietta using a great mix of Dermalogica products, the entire treatment was so relaxing. It included cleansing, toning, moisturising, extractions, face mask and plenty of massage, really making it such a treat. It was so soothing I almost fell asleep on numerous occasions!

I loved the ambience and atmosphere of the spa, which had classy and clean decor as well as a polished finish. Super easy to find on Fulham High Street, mere minutes away from Putney Bridge Station, Amara Spa definitely needs to go on your venue hit list!

The treatment was easy to book, the ambience relaxing, the facilities clean and discreet and welcome warm. Would recommend and go back however it would be great if there were more promo packages or bundles available.

I have had a number of facials at this spa and it is excellent. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the therapists are excellent at what they do.

I had a facial booked and phoned to ask if they could do a massage as well as I had a really tight headache but they didn't have the space.

So I went along for my facial after work and while the mask was drying the therapist gave a wonderful head and neck massage (they usually give me a hand and arm massage while the mask is drying) and I was very grateful for it! So the receptionist obviously took what I said on board about my headache and asked the therapist to incorporate a mini massage for me (at no extra cost) - a lovely touch and makes the experience personal. And the best of it was that no one mentioned the massage, it was just put in there because of my phonecall - brilliant!

Very relaxing atmosphere - this was the first time i had been to the salon and also the first time i had had this particular treatment. The therapist was very friendly, the receptionist very welcoming. This is somewhere i would definately go back to and pay full price!

I had initially booked in for this on a weekend and then could not attend, but was advised on initially phoning that as long as I gave at least 24 hours notice it would be fine. Staff were helpful and very polite and advised my voucher would be valid for six months so I can go back any time

Amara Spa is a really great clean salon. The room that I had my treatment in was newly refurbished and it made the whole treatment more comfortable. My therapist was fantastic. I had the full leg wax and bikini wax. Both waxing treatments were good and the therapist used a different wax for the leg and bikini. I would highly recommend Amara Spa!

Really lovely spa - very helpful staff who were kind enough to reschedule my appointment when I missed it. Highly recommend it and it was great value as I bought the Wahanda mob deal voucher. Thanks so much.

Excellent waxing, using the blue gel stuff which doesn't need paper strips or anything. Much less fussy, faster & less painful than the regular old fashioned hot wax.
Also seems to result in fewer ingrown hairs.
I didn't know how good it was until I had an organic hot wax somewhere else and had to go and shower off the irritating sticky residue later.
The therapist was great, made what can be an uncomfortably intimate situation very relaxed.
They give you special offer vouchers for various things whenever you go there.
