Really good waxing experience- it was basically pain-free. Super quick and my therapist was very polite and make me feel extremely comfortable. She was also an expert at her job and I’ve never had such a good wax. Highly recommend!
The staffs were super friendly! I have gone to many salons but Alisha Beauty Parlour has done the best. I am really impressed with my treatment. Also there treatment room was very comfortable and nice. Definitely will come back to this parlour. - Thank you Nipa! you are great! Definitely recommending this parlour.
The ladies who work here are so lovely, but unfortunately I did NOT have good treatments. The Hollywood wax was horrific. I have had many waxes before- both strip and hot wax- and have never bruised. After this I am very bruised and have multiple cuts. I don’t know if their hot wax was not a good quality, but it stuck directly to my skin and ripped it as the wax came off. After excruciating pain I sat up to see about 30% of the hair was still there (and it was all of a waxable length). The leg wax was quick however I was still left with patches of hair and lots of wax stuck to my skin. The manicure/pedicure was okay, not much choice of polish. On one of my toenails, the polish has completely come off already and on my fingers it is very clunky and thick. The massage felt like someone was rubbing suncream into my back. I asked multiple times for her to press harder and even pointed out the area (trapezius) that had the most problems and muscle knots. She felt a knot and recoiled in shock- so I assume the lady doing my massage has not had any formal massage training. The facial was GREAT- I was really happy with it and thought it was great value for money. They used 3 different types of cleansers, then steam and black head removal, then a mask and a massage. If it wasn’t for the other treatments going so badly, I would return for the facial.
Facial threading was great and included eyebrows. Probably wouldn’t go back for pedicure as the tools were reused from other clients without being cleaned. Could see bits of other people’s skin in them which was a bit off-putting. Also didn’t include nail painting which I would normally expect. But it did remove a lot of hard skin and left feet feeling soft. Very friendly staff.
In general I am finding the staff members very nice, although I was under impression that the owner care to much about British pound that the overall quality of service provided. She was still pleasant ,but maybe she should let her employees do the job for her. Trainee girl suggest microdermabrasion what I received was a blue and red light treatment for £30.
