Have been going to this spa on average once a week for a few weeks now. Excellent place to chill out and relax. Although I do highly rate the facilities, on my last visit there were a few niggles - the on/off button on the shower did not always work as it should - the door to one of the steam rooms did not close properly. Minor points but enough to downgrade the facilities this time. It will be interesting to see if these problems are addressed by my next visit. Hope to try a facial next time.
What a lovely spa! The facilities are beautiful and spotlessly clean, the staff friendly and courteous. We went mid week and only saw one other person there! There was orange (cordial I think which I unfortuantley can't drink) and fresh orange slices in the spa to help yourself to which was a very nice touch.
The robes and towels were also very soft and good quality which enhanced the feeling of being pampered and sense of luxury. We didn't try the food although will do next time as looked lovely. The freshly squeezed orange juice is amazing (and only £1.50, far too cheap if you ask me!!!).
It would benefit from having a full swimming pool would be my only comment on the facilities although lounging in your own private jacuzzi is fabulous!
Looking forward to going again and will book a treatment next time definitely as the comments we heard on those were great (they couldnt fit us in this time as we booked last minute).
Absolute bargain on the bogof deal. Some other far more expensive spas could learn a lesson from this lovely hidden sanctuary. Can't wait to go back.
Best kept secret in Deeside. I never see this place advertised locally, which is a shame because the facilities are excellent. Would recommend giving it a go - take the opportunity to chill out and spoil yourself for two hours at least. Check the web site for all the facilities on offer.
I went to this spa last week with my friend for the 2 for 1 spa experience and had a lovely time. The whole set up was very relaxing and it was great value. We didnt have any treatments but I will definately be returning and having a treatment to complete the experience. There were refreshments including fresh fruit and you could help yourself, and staff were very friendly.
Highly recommennd. Love the Crystal Steam room and the special showers. Allow at least 2 hours to enjoy all the facilites which also include Salt Grotto, sauna, Aroma Steam room, Spa Pool (very popular with everyboday), Ice Fountain and reflexology footbaths. The Spa is immaculate and fairly new. My only minor critisism is about the footbaths, which I do not find very good and sometimes do not work. Not used the Rest and Relaxation room much because I do not have the time to stay that much longer. Check the web site.
