Making the most of your Wahanda professional profile

At Wahanda, we want every therapist, trainer and practitioner listed to be making the most of their professional profile, which is why we’re giving you a nudge in the right direction. With an incomplete profile there’s less chance that you’ll get discovered by the Wahanda community, but when your profile is 100% complete, you’ll benefit from increased visibility on the site. This means you’ll be able to start building your customer base, promoting your business and reaping the rewards as soon as you sign up, so if you haven’t already registered with us, join now.

Monitoring your profile progress

To make it easy for you to see how far you’ve got in completing your profile, we’ve designed a special ‘progress barometer’ and divided it up into two elements.

  1. Findability on Wahanda (indicated by the colour-coded traffic-light system)
  2. Completeness of your profile (indicated by the percentage)

1. Findability

The colour of your progress barometer indicates how visible you are on Wahanda – including in our therapist-hub search, so the goal is to get to green. To ensure you’re always on the radar, follow the below guidelines and watch your colours change as you add more to your profile.

Traffic-light level How to change your colours
Red You’ve created a profile but no-one can find you.
Next steps:
  • Complete contact details
  • Fill in ‘where I work’ locations
Amber People can find you based on where you work but not based on the services you offer.
Next steps:
  • Add at least one speciality (treatment) to your profile
  • Upload a photo or relevant image
  • Include your full name
Green Now you’re findable on Wahanda, make sure your profile is as complete as possible.

2. Completeness

The more information you include in your profile, the higher your percentage. The higher your percentage, the more visible you’ll become on the site, making it easier for everyone visiting Wahanda to find you, learn about what you do, see where you practice and discover how to contact you.

You can boost your exposure in more ways than one. Use this as your check list when you fill in your profile and you’ll be well on your way to putting your best foot forward.
