This weekend sparks the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee weekend – hooray! The Queen will begin her four-day extravaganza at the Epsom Derby, followed by a royal row along the Thames. To honour our Queenie, a commemorative concert is going to be held at Buckingham Palace – don’t worry; it’ll be televised on several enormous screens in Hyde Park, so you needn’t miss out.
The extra long weekend will conclude with a spectacular thanksgiving service at St. Paul’s Cathedral, followed by a carriage procession from Westminster Hall to Buckingham Palace. The RAF is planning a special tribute, too. We definitely wouldn’t mind being treated like a queen, and not just for the two birthdays a year…
