I should write a review, really, since I've been so happy with my haircut from Fordham Soho. You know when you get it cut, you politely say it's great (even when it's not), then you hope it'll grow back into something you style yourself? Well, that wasn't the case at Fordham Soho. And perhaps for the first time, I left completely happy with my cut. It looked great and still does now, a week later.
And that's because my stylist, Claire, did a good job of listening to what I wanted, injecting some of her own ideas and working with creativity to do something she should be proud of. She was really friendly too - and none of those awkward silences!
The decor is okay - I think they're working on the ceiling. Just don't look up until they're done! But otherwise fine. The rest of the staff were nice too - offered me a drink, etc - and the place seem well equipped. The 'shampoo chair' is awesome! Like a dentist chair, but more relaxing, obviously!
Overall, I'd recommend Fordham Soho. And ask for Claire, if you can. You won't be disappointed.
