After seeing the 40% off introductory offer on Wahanda for a cut at Fordham Soho, and after reading the positive reviews for the salon, I decided to send a request through the Wahanda site. I was called back the very next morning to arrange an appointment, and was given the time and date I requested - plus a reminder text the day before the appointment. Excellent!
I was delighted to be told that I would be seeing Claire - who has recieved some amazing reviews. As others have mentioned, Claire took the time to ask me lots of questions about the hair I have/want, as well as giving me tips on how to style my beautiful new haircut at home. Claire used some great products on my hair, and although I was asked if I would like to purchase these products and recommended them, I didn't feel pressured - which is important to me, as there is nothing worse than recieving the 'hard-sell' when you're just after a bit of pampering. I felt totally relaxed and looked after - Claire is an absolute god-send. I never thought that I stood a chance of leaving any salon with the Penelope Cruz-style hair I aspired to own, but I've got it now!!! Although the 40% off deal was only for new clients - I have decided that I will definitely be returning. Claire is well worth paying the full price for, I left that salon feeling gorgeous!

I recieved a spa day for 2 from my lovely little sister in June. The grounds and facilities were okay, especially the gym (though was bombarded by loud, commercial music - would've preferred to listen to my own) and pool area.

We had a reasonable 2-course lunch (you had to choose whether you wanted a starter OR a dessert) and then enjoyed a facial (therapist was lovely - but treatment was nothing special) and massage respectively...so far so good. Then we went to the reception to request our sunbed tokens....we were met by a lady in her 50's/60's with short hair, who rudely informed us that our 'luxury' spa-day didn't include that, and if we wanted to tan we would have to pay extra. Something we might have been inclined to do, if we hadn't been been spoken to in such a poor manner. As it was, her attitude made us get our thing's and leave immediately.

We had an amazing day, and were considering joining up as members - because of the receptionist, we will never go back, and have told friends they would be wise to avoid the place. Any 'spa' who hires a poorly-spoken, rude women - who looks as if she has never had a spa treatment in her life...is not a place I wanna go make pretty. Hope this review is helpful.

I have mixed views on headmasters bromley - ! have been twice. My first therapist, Maxine, was amazing! She gave me the best haircut I've ever had. She really listened to what i wanted, and i walked away with gorgeous, shiny, swingy hair. The only down-side was the pressure placed on you to buy the salon products. It was recommended that I buy two of the products used on my hair - the cost of the products almost matched the price of the haircut - I declined, but definitely felt awkward saying no.

My second visit was a disaster - she spent such a short time cutting my hair. And you could tell by the end result, the cut looked shabby, and grew out badly. I specifically told her I wanted my hair in tip-top condition, but walked away with almost as many split-ends as I walked in with - such a let down. Wish I could remember the stylists name, but all I remember is that she was young (early/mid 20's) and did NOT have a good do herself (should've been the first clue), and chatted about her long-term boyfriend and her trouble with ingrown-hairs....all of which would be fine - if she'd have given me decent hair-cut.

WOULD go back, but only if I could have Maxine - will pysch myself up beforehand this time to JUST SAY NO to all the add-on purchases that i just don't need. Hope you found this helpful.
