Spa by Car gave me the greatest spa experience I have ever had and it took place right in my home. Everything was arranged so I was made to feel so comfortable with the amazing therapist that came to do my treatments. She made me feel very pampered with the luxury products that she used and the manicure and pedicure I had done has lasted over a week and a half already! I am so impressed! I am definitely going to be having all of my beauty treatments with you guys in the future! Thank you Jodie!
I have been having regular facials at Rani Mirza for about the last 4 four years. Prior to that, I had had facials maybe once a year as no matter what salon I went to I never found that they made a visible difference and was always suspect as to their benefits. All that changed when I went to Rani - people (who were unaware that I had had a facial) kept commenting on how glowing and radiant my skin looked. After having red carpet facials, I have also been asked by friends (on more than one occasion) whether I have had botox because my lines disappear and my skin looks so perfect!
The deep cleanse and red carpet facials are one and a half/two hours of pure relaxation and pampering. I am a lawyer who works long hours in a stressful job - The salon and treatment rooms are serene and the atmosphere is relaxed - I frequently fall aleep during my facials and always leave at the end of the treatment not only with fresh skin but feeling rejuvinated and a great deal calmer than when I arrived.
The products Rani uses are top notch and Rani and her team of facialists really are at the top of their game - I trust them implicitly with my skin and their advice on what products to use. They are friendly and knowledgable but never pushy when it comes to buying products. They are also very accommodating when it comes to having to rearrange appointments etc.
I would not consider going anywhere else for my facials and the other treatments I have at Rani Mirza -and I would not hesitate in recommending Rani Mirza.
This is my second visit to Sophia, and i must say first & foremost she is a lovely lovely lady,so friendly, making you feel relaxed & welcome.
The facial i had with sophia was amazing, well worth the money that my sister paid for it,which was a birthday present off her to me,i enjoyed it very much.
The last time i was at sophia`s i had my eyes done & again it was a lovely experience.
I will be going there again & again, keep up the fantastic work Sophia.
The service I received from Visible Changes was out of this world, I normally only have my eyebrows threaded there but decided to have a facial as there was a special offer on, it was really relaxing and I actually fell alseep during the treatment!...I would recommend visible changes to anyone and will definitely go again for a facial.
Although Browhaus looks amazing and the interior totally draws you in, unfortunately I had a horrible experience there.
As I was waiting for my treatment in their waiting area therapists were complaining about having to do their next treatments and were laughing about it at the front desk.
The tall Asian receptionist spoke to me as if I was stupid and kept repeating herself because I didn't want to buy in to one of their package deals they offer. (They aggressively push hundreds of pounds worth of packages on you and make it very hard for you to walk away just paying for your treatment.)
I will not be returning to Browhaus, although my therapist was lovely, she also told me how much she disliked the management.
I will stick to the Benefit Browbar just off Carnaby Strt instead.
Ta!
The therapist, Alia was rude and told me I needed extra treatments done, which I didn't want to have done, before I had a chance to say not she said I needed it done and started anyway, then charged me for it, Therapist incredibly arrogant and rude, I do not have a hairy lip, to top matters off she cut my lip, I've had threading done for years and she really hurt I will never go there again.
i loved this beauty salon. everything was really good. the staff were really friendly and welcoming. the salon was really clean and it smelt amazing!! i recommend it to everyone! :)
This was my second visit here. I had a wonderful relaxing massage by paula. Staff here are very friendly so i love to keep coming back. They always have lots of different offers on so it makes it exciting each time to choose something different.
I have been going to Bella Spa for nearly a year now and I would not go anywhere else! Diana and her team always provide a warm welcome which is lovely after a long day at work. I usually have Gelish or Shellac and have been to other salons to have it done too but I always come back to Bella spa because my manicure lasts so much longer with them. There are a lot of salons who think Gelish/Shellac can just be slapped on like nail varnish and thats why it doesnt last but the ladies at Bella Spa have such attention to detail that it easily lasts 3 weeks! The salon has just moved behind Primark right in the middle of Manchester so it is a great location to pop in now and the new Salon is much bigger with a beautiful therpy room where you can have loads of treatments inclusing massage and facials. I highly recommend Bella spa for any age too and am planning to treat my Grandmother for her birthday :)
Corrie Baker
Feroza is absolutely brilliant at waxing and threading. She's been doing it for years and years (does a lot of house calls to celebrities and foreign royal family members) & I can honestly say it doesn't hurt at all which I still can't believe. She's lovely and is excellent at what she does. Both the waxing and threading last far far longer than anywhere else I've ever been before. The downsides are the salon is very strange, it's a small room off a men's weight lifting gym but has a superb view over Covent Garden and she doesn't use any glamorous products. She's cheap but truly brilliant and better service than you'd receive in any of the Mayfair salons I used to use.
I been there 5 weeks ago and wasn't satisfactory, but I decided to try again, today was worst than the last time, I left the place with only one eyebrow done (horrible), almost crying. I really want to know if they have idea how long it is take to grow again and is something in the face!
The quickest Brazilian wax I have ever had. It is brilliant value for money at £12.50. My friend and I definitely recommend this place.
I got my eyebrows threaded and the staff were really lovely. I was impressed with the salon as well. It's so relaxing and calm. I didn't even want to leave. I recommend this salon to everyone :)
The staff were helpful and very friendly. The treatment room was warm and cosy. The facial experience was great! From now on it would become the only place where I would go for my facials. Fantastic result, my skin radically improved. I would definitely recommend this place.
This is the 1st time I have had my eyebrows threaded , I was really pleased with the results, I also had a facial which involved a face mask which has a electric current run through it, this was quite an odd sensation but not unpleasant, but well worth it, My skin looked totally refreshed and rejuvinated.
This treatment is quite expensive, but I do intent to treat myself again and to have the threading.
The salon is small, but pleasant and Nita was very proffesional and welcoming, she also explains the product and the treatments very well, this was a lovely relaxing experience I intend to repeat.
I was totally shocked by the reception I received and the salon was not as described on the internet. It was small, dark and dreary. The room I was put into was so small with a small bed against the wall. It could not be moved. The therapist had to lean right on top of me to do one side. I came out of there with more hair still on and more wax than I went in with....
I would not recommend and will not be returning.
visible changes one of the best known beauty and skin clinic known in cardiff it has everything you need in the salon from make up to facials and so on laser to treatments to make your self look stunning everyday and make your self look fabulous
they are an amazing eyebrows shaper and the best eyebrows shaper are in here!!
please visit visible changesss you will never be disappoineted you will always leave with a smile on your face
I came across Bella Spa while searching for a beauty salon in Manchester city centre. As I have been to many nail & beauty salon, this salon stands out to be a real pampering experience in an private ambience. The therapist takes their time to do the job and being very friendly and professional at the same time. The service is great with a complimentary hand massage for my gel nail service. I am very happy with their eyebrow threading service as well. I dont feel much pain as the therapist is very experienced and caring.
I will definitely come back to the salon.
Great value! I have been looking for a waxing salon around South Kensington for ages but most of them are very expensive. The Pink Room is by far the cheapest ive come across and their treatments are just as good as the more expensive places ive been to!
The bonus is they do Eyebrow Threading too which I was really impressed with- it was my first time as i usually get them waxed. I'll definitely be going again!
I have been to Sophia before and as always she was very friendly and professional and made me feel welcome.
I had an eye lash tint and eye brow tint and my eye brows threaded - I was very pleased with the result as I am going on holiday and will not have to wear mascara/eye brow pencil.
I loved the shape of my eye brows after the treading and she did them so quickly.
I live in Clapham and go here roughly every 4 weeks to get my eybrows threaded and tinted, lip threaded and eyelashes tinted which normally costs me about £18 total. All of the eyebrow therapists are Indian which I like beacause I like a defined brow on the thick side like most Indian/Asian ladies (I don't care who you are, no one looks good with thin eyebrows, fact). They do a good job removing eveything right up close and I could probably stretch my 4 weeks to longer as my hair is quite fair so I am lucky in this respect you can't see my stray hairs here and there but I notice them and want then gone! A few times I have been scratched with the thread but I think this is expected with threading as its threads going over a sensitive area of your skin and it catches sometimes. In any event I have experienced this at other salons to so its a comon thing. Only once in the 8 months I have beeing going have I received a treatment I have not been happy with (brows were done too thin) and I have to let them back for a few weeks longer than normal. I now make sure I reiterate each time that I like my browns to be thick and I have not had a problem since. I have my favourite therapist now but if she is not working there are others that are great too. I have also never waited more than 15 minutes to be seen.
My 'me-time' once a month and I wouldn't miss it for anything.
I am made to feel so special when I'm there, Kanize is so attentive with excellent customer care skills.
All treatments are skillfully administered and my nails look the best they have ever looked in my life.
This brow bar is really easy to find on the ground floor of Harvey Nichols - just head towards the bustling crowd in the purple corner! The girls working there are super-efficient both in seating you (even if you're just lurking in the vibrant chaos) and threading (I'm sure mine didn't take even as long as 10 minutes, and this was after an unintentional caveman phase), and explain and show you what style will suit you before you commit to anything. My threader wasn't excessively friendly, but she was helpful and informative which is what counts, and I did manage to feel at ease because she was so attentive, despite the buzzing of voices around me. Although it was busy, there were a couple of seats and girls free, though they do take appointments online, and apparently have treatment rooms in the back, where people can request to be threaded (and obviously waxed/massaged) in privacy. As far as I saw, all of their customers at that point were ladies, but apparently 1/4 (or something) of their customers are men. You're given hand sanitiser before the treatment starts, then your eyes are wiped down with a cleansing tissue, and you're handed a mirror to check up on the work throughout the process, tissues if your eyes start watering, and then they massage a soothing gel-cream to your brow area after it's over. Mine looked really clean after it was done, and they really do 'open up' your eyes. Plus, they actually listen to you when you say you don't want thin hooker brows! I'd say it was worth the first-timers pain (it's a really weird sensation!), considering it didn't hurt after it was over. A little tip: go to the bathrooms by the lifts and make sure there's no hair left on your face. And maybe wait there until the redness goes down, if you forgot your huge sunglasses! It took me a couple hours to looks normal again, but fortunately it was an even pink-redness, not a blotchy look. £17 is quite expensive for eyebrow maintenance, but I didn't trust a cheaper place to shape my brows initially (but may try one for just maintenance), and in London it isn't too unreasonable for a reputable company in an accessible location. It's like the sort of place you can fit in between shopping/work shifts. They give you a loyalty card which has stampable rows to get your 6th brow threading and 6th lip threading free. My only real gripe is the open bar feel - although it's tucked in a corner, and I was lucky enough to be right in the corner, it's still a little awkward knowing that people may be watching you tearing up from the pain! Maybe I'll request a treatment room next time, to preserve my dignity!
Sophia is a client of mine and I'm quite particular who I go to! I wanted to get my face threaded as get quite a lot of blonde hair! Sophia was great, the treatment is fairly painful but nothing serious and much more effective than waxing. She explained perfectly what she was doing throughout the treatment and I am hair free plus my skin is better as a result! Highly recommend and a really lovely lady xx
Sophia was such a lovely person and a great therapist. She was very meticulous and professional when doing my waxing and completely put me at ease when I had my eyebrows threaded for the first time. I recommend Sophia and will definitely go back to see her!
I have been threading my brows for the past two years and hip hopping from house of fraser to debenhams to make them look good. These two places are quite dear to get ur services done. Been to one behind castlecourt before. She shortened one my brows and ruined it. My friend Una referred iris brow lounge to me and after two sessions, Voila.... i have the best brows ever. Nima is really lovely girl and for the first time i got my upper lip and tinting done for just £20, so thats very affordable..so far Nima is the best threader in Belfast.
The staff were very friendly and were very professional and made a fantastic job of my gelish nails and threading.
The room was quite small but they are moving into new premises shortly.
Definately classier than the local area, the salon is warm and great effort has been made to advertise a higher standard of service which is matched by the lovely staff and their friendly yet professional approach to customer care.
This was my second visit here and I fully appreciated the time and effort given to me and my treatments. The staf went well beyond the call of duty on my second visit! Helping entertain my full on, curious toddler, whilst ensuring they met my expectations and wants with regards to my haircut and eyebrow threading.
Listening to my requests and ensuring I was satisfied with my haircut, I was offered refreshments and biscuits, as was my son. Staff are down to earth and genuine.
I received a relaxing head massage as part if my wash and all staff were chatty and showed interest in me. I definately felt it was all about me.
This salon is a shining example of considered high level, friendly, customer care offering a skilled professional approach on all levels. A ray of sunshine in the grey world of Dagenham.
I visited the premises yesterday.I had a good experience. The establishment was easy to find as the owner provided me with directions...
She was friendly and competent; the treatment did not last too long and my eyebrows were left neat and nicely shaped after she threaded them.
My only concern is that i may struggle to get there for future treatments as took some time getting there and back home as there was a lot of traffic on the motorway.
i WOULD RECOMMEND treatments at this establishment.
This deal was very good value for money for a cut, blowdry and half head of highlights and the results were good. The staff were very thoughtful, friendly and put a lot of effort into my hair which was nice as I was going to my brother's wedding that afternoon.
However, my main reason for only giving a 3 star rating was because I thought they took a very long time which actually made me late for the wedding (very stressful)!!! I estimated it would take 2 hours but they actually took 3 hours and 15 minutes! But, if you're not on a time schedule, then this place is good and definitely value for money - my hair did look nice. Just don't expect anything too fancy!
Really enjoyed my experience at Fairydust Beauty. Eyebrows look amazing! and massage was very relaxing, loved it! will be back very soon sarah and dee. thanks very much!
Was extremely pleased with the service from the girls at Fairydust Beauty. They are very friendly and welcoming. Have booked them for my Wedding in January 2012 for Make up, Tan, Eyelashes and Nails. Thank you so much Fairydust Beauty! See you very soon :-)
i attended for a birthday treat and had my eyelashes and eyebrows tinted and had my eyebrow and chin threaded and then had eyelash extensions , it was a lovely treat , the therapist was friendly and chatty and made me feel really really pampered, it was such good value for money that i intend to go once a month for a repeat of all of my treatments. I would recomend it to anyone , especially if ur feelin a bit drab, and as a wheelchair user i found her very accomodating to as she just moved the stool and worked while i was in my wheelchair. very very impressed 100 PERCENT XX
This is by far one of the best pedicure/manicures I have had recently. Not abrasive or harsh, as some salons can be. Nail polish was applied very neatly with a great glossy finish.
How can you go wrong when the service is free. I did feel obliged to purchase something when i was there but that's only fair really and the idea behind the whole promotion. The ladies were really friendly and the facility was gorgeous although tricky to get to so maybe if your in the area this is great but if your not, its a bit difficult. In any case my eyebrows look fantastic and Id definitely go back to them again.
I was lucky enough to vist MEH&BS with a friend and had a range of treatments before we attended a function. From the minute you walked into the salon the ambience was just right.Staff were so courteous and helpful and couldnt do enough to make our visit a special one. Each treatment we had done was done with uppermost expertise and we were always made to feel comfortable ,relaxed and pampered. If you are looking for somewhere to pamper you before a party or just to unwind couldnt recommend MEH&BS highly enough will definately be going back .
As a student I normally wait until I go home (Bedford) to have any beauty treatments done because its just to expensive in London. But this places is so good because I get 50% off as I am a student and they are very good at waxing. Located near Victoria it is easy to get to but as its located in a hair salon it may be a little hard to find but its definatley a 5 star place for value and service
Amazing value and the beauticians are lovely. My regular therapists are Reema and Harri, who have made waxing much less painful, and they are great at shaping my eyebrows. Prices are reasonable but between Monday - Thursday they are excellent as you get 30% off
Lack of ambience professionalism and organisation. Good value. It was very bright and appeared clean however, did not enjoy the open aspect for the manicure and pedicures, the therapist sat on the floor whilst performing the pedicure and did not appear very experienced.
As a regular to Benito Brow in Preston where I had the same wonderful therapist I was reluctant to leave her and go elsewhere but she informed me of the salon in Liverpool where I am now working as it would be easier for me to attend there.
I went to Benito Brow in Liverpool on Saturday just gone and had the most awful experience ever at a Beauty Salon. First I was told I would have to wait, no apology or we wont keep you long, Just, you stand there!
Whilst having the treatment done the therapist and her colleague were having a conversation in their own language which I found very intimidating and also very rude.
When she had completed one eye which I was happy with she started on the other brow which she took several attempts to get the same. I'm still not happy and I totally regret going there now.
The therapist in Preston is wonderful I could not speak more highly of her but Liverpool staff need a lesson in customer service and better training as customers like me will find elsewhere to go. I hope the girl in Preston leaves as I will follow her as I will not be giving Benito's my money again. Totally disgruntled customer - oh and at the time of posting I still havent had a reply to my email sent to their head office. Tut tut.
It was hard to find as its located within a not so great hair salon in Victoria but im so glad my friend recommended it to me. They are the best at threading and waxing and their prices are better than any one I have been to in central. The best time to go is between Monday - Thursday as you get 30% off :o). Two thumbs up!!
Nalika's the best in waxing treatments!! Always very happy with the result; I also had eyebrow threading and a massage and was very pleased. Clean and lovely treatment room. Good prices as well. Thoroughly recommend Nalika!
Friendly staff and clean and relaxing facilities however the voucher fails to tell you the threading therapist is only available on Saturdays - which is limiting, in terms of priority Id prefer to get my eyebrows done on a free mid week evening after work and not dedicate Saturday time.
The therapist also changes which is not an major issue although Ive been looking to find one consistant therapist to do my eyebrows.
Saiba is by far the best place I have been for my threading and waxing. They offer great value for money and a great customer experience all round. The beauticians are friendly and the salon is clean with great decor and a relaxing atmosphere.
The best way to describe it is very good value, their prices are the lowest I have found within zone 1. They are very quick and very good at threading and waxing. The only other place I know which is as good at threading and waxing is in Southall (Miles aaaaaway)
I have been to Saiba a few times now. The salon is clean, the beauticians are friendly and did a very good job. One of the better places I have been to in Central London.
I had a Henna tattoo done on my back as I was wearing a backless dress on a night out and it was AMAZING. The beauticians are so sweet, I was late and it took nearly an hour to do the tattoo (past Saiba's closing time) but they didn't mind and kept chatting and offered me tea, and sweets. I would defo recommend Saiba for Henna and eyebrow threading.
Its really close to Victoria Station but was a little hard to find as its based within a hair salon. My friend and I think that it is excellent value for money and the beauticians we had were really nice., We had a brazilian wax and eyebrow threading for only £22 and we got a 50% voucher for next time :0) The waxing was so quick and normally it hurts a lot more. I would definitely recommend Saiba to any one who doesn't want to pay the silly prices we are expected to pay in London for threading and waxing.
This salon is simply FANTASTIC! I cannot recommend Saiba Beauty enough. I always get excellent service here, they never moan at me when I am late (which is often as I travel from Chiswick), and every single treatment I have had here is spot on.....at sensible affordable prices. The salon is spotless & the decor is very tastefully done. I am always well looked after, feel completely at ease every time I visit. They are just superb at waxing, threading and massages - really first class, very welcoming and some of the loveliest bubbliest therapists I’ve ever met. It is a delight to come here, and that is why I recommend Saiba Beauty absolutely without hesitation for any treatment.
Just been along to Browhaus for eyebrow threading - pleasantly surprised. The therapist (Jodie) was lovely - friendly, professional and made me feel very comfortable. Really felt like she took time to get a good result. The salon looks funky and modern, and was clean and comfortable. £15 was good value for central London - a bit more than you might pay in the suburbs but could have been a lot worse! Would definitely recommend.
Raheela is a wonderful therapist and I have no hesitation in recommending her salon.
I come from S-E Asia, where threading is popular and has been around since the beginning of time. So, I have always had my brows threaded (it gives a more precise shape) and have tried tons of threading technicians, with varied results.
Although I have spent nearly 7 years in England, I only ever get my brows threaded when I return home to S-E Asia, because, till now, I could not find someone whom I could trust with my brows.
After getting sick of looking like a cave woman in the lead up to my visits home, I decided to comb the Net for the best eyebrow artist in London. Although less advertised than Vaishaly or Shavata, Kamini is the only one with consistently good reviews, in terms of her work. So, in spite of the jaw-dropping price (which is still far, far less than what Vaishaly charges, I must add), I booked an appointment for eyebrow threading with Kamini Beauty.
Yes, you may have to wait for a bit. However, I was treated more like a friend than a customer and not rushed out through the door by impersonal staff, just so that appointments can be kept punctually. And unlike Shavata or countless other eyebrow-grooming businesses, I had the complete comfort and privacy of my own treatment room, free from passers-by's stares.
Kamini really took the time to assess and shape my brows. And this is the first time in my life that I have had a completely painless threading experience!
Although the change in the shape of my brows, as compared to previous threading sessions back home, was slight, it made a world of difference. The shape was very precise and no stray hairs were found. I never thought it possible but the lines of my brows are perfectly clean - so straight that one would think a laser shaped my brows.
My verdict? This is the best that I have ever had. And although pricey for eyebrows, it is worth every penny. I look amazing and all this was achieved without eyebrow pencils or brow scissors. Love, love, love!
My advice - book ahead and book an appointment for a time when you do not need to rush to another appointment, afterwards. So, even if your appointment's late, you can still enjoy the experience that is uniquely Kamini. (And spend an hour admiring your reflection afterwards.)
I have been to this salon many times for a variety of treatments. It is a fun, friendly and polite atmosphere. Nita provides thorough treatments that give fantastic results. First Class manicures and Pedicures, my nail varnish application is always flawless and glossy and lasts the longest when polished by Nita. Good value for money. I would highly recommend this salon.
I am writing to THANK YOU for the AMAZING job that you have done with the BRAZILIAN BLOWOUT! Even though you had been advising me to get this done for several months, I was a complete skeptic. I did not believe that it would work, but it does! You have done a great job in administering the treatment to my thick and curly hair and I am very happy with the results.
Your Satisfied Client,
Narjis Kamran
I have never had my haircut in such a beautiful environment before! Ena salon is truly outstanding in every way! The staff are very welcoming, the salon has wonderful decor and I always leave looking and feeling great. I've always felt very out of place in top salons, but Ena is very welcoming and warm, and I was made to feel very valued. A young man called Jay cut my hair, he discussed every detail from my face shape to my hair growth patterns! And advised what would suit me best. I can honestly say I've never had so many compliments on my hair! Jay gets it right every time! I would definately recommend him to everyone I know!
Good value for money, lovely staff that accommodated me very warmly and well even after I was delayed and missed my original appointment. The eyelashes didn't look particularly natural and I ended up removing them after 4 days as they started to fall out much quicker on my left eye than on my right. Having said that my eyes got watery after the threading so this made the application of eyelashes more difficult.
I was nervous when contemplating threading. I couldn't praise Pinky and Nima more. Not only have I gained more confidance, but it is quick, easy, affordable and they put me at ease. they even have a customer loyalty card to get your sixth session free. Friendly staff. I look forward to when they have their own salon. It has changed my life a little bit. Something that was so annoying for me is now something I can easily deal with. Given the time and effort, it is great value for money, and cheapest in Belfast that I know of at the minute. Easy to park nearby, easy to get to, and they are always accomodating to suit you, including staying on late themselves, if you can't get out of work in time. I see this as a life long way of dealing with unwanted facial hair. Better than waxing. It lasts longer, doesn't damage your skin, and leaves the hair soft after each treatment, to the point that i no longer feel self conscious.Softer than waxing and softer than plucking and therefore less obvious especially under makeup. I can wait a few days without wanting to hide away in the house. They give me practical advice as well on what I should and shouldn't be doing, and seem genuinely interested in getting me to the point that this is all easily manageable. I've been about five times now. And brought my sister along. I feel like they way Pinky has done my eyebrows has left me with a cleaner, neater brow line, that makes my face look a bit better and slimmer. I wouldn't go elsewhere, nor would I stop going now I have started. It's less painful than waxing, but if you go the week before your period, I would suggest taking one painkiller. The only bits that are sore, would be under your eyes, or under your lips. But the confidance that I have, due to these two ladies. is unmeasurable. I'm so pleased! And if anyone was in anyway interested, I would stop tweezing and waxing for a few days and try it out. £30 for full face, and really cheap for eyebrows, eyebrow dyeing, massage. If you are like me and this is an area that annoys you , then go for it. Best decision I ever made. they can do you arms to if needs be, leaving the hair growing back thinner and softer.
Brow bar in Debenhams in oxford street: Ive had my eyebrows threaded for the past 8 years at various places and never have i come out of a salon with one eyebrow dramatically thinner than the other. From the moment i sat down i repeated over and over again that i just wanted a tidy up and for her NOT to make them thinner. The first eyebrow was fine but the second one she totally messed up and made it half the width of the other. Only when i was on the verge of tears did she say i dont have to pay because im an unhappy customer !! WORST threading ever.
The staff at Saiba are very friendly and helpful. The beauty rooms are downstairs and are very quiet and peaceful. It's good to get away from the hustle and bustle of London temporarily!
I went primarily for the waxing, I wanted somewhere that was not too expensive and was quick. Saiba is exactly that. The brazilian wax was done quickly and the beautician knew exactly what she was doing. I had my eyebrows threaded for the first time and I'm impressed with the results. I will definitely be getting them threaded again! The facial was good value for money as was the pedicure.
Overall I think Saiba is exactly what we need in London. It's not overpriced and pretentious. Its friendly, in a good location, relatively cheap and therefore good value for money. I will definitely be going back for my waxing, especially as they have a loyalty card scheme (who doesn't love getting something for free?)
Kanize is always so warm and welcoming, you always feel at ease with her as she is so relaxed and friendly.
Threading is a great alterative to waxing and not alway available at other salons, so well woth a trip to see her. You certainly get great value at Chic Beauty. Kanize seems to have great attention to detail, you never feel rushed and feel like a valued client.
Sophia is lovely and so friendly, treatment was really professional and thorough.
Hairdressing staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved the cut and colour. Decided to have threading done while I was there too but found the lady who did the threading a bit brusque - which is why I didn't give 5 stars. Overall, I found it a pleasant experience and have no hesitation in recommending them,
Unfortunately my eyes kept watering, my therapist was very patient. All the staff are really friendly. My lashes have managed to stay put so am pleased. Good value for money.
Although it's in the middle of the beauty section, meaning that there will be people walking by gawping at you, this place is great. You soon forget where you are as you have your eyes closed most of the time anyway. Since I've gone to this brow bar (the first time being about 6 months ago), I've become a regular and no longer go anywhere else. Although not all the ladies speak great English, they're great at what you pay them for - threading.
Little Jannah has been my Go To salon since i discovered it a few months ago, i have my eyebrows threaded and tinted there regularly and also the eyelash extentions. I have also have facials, body massage, manicure, pedicures and hair colour treatments.
It really is a little peice of heaven!! i had a spa day courtesy of my lovely husband and it was brilliant i felt pampered and relaxed, much needed after just having my second child 3 months ago!! the therapists are all really polite and good at what they do and kept me entertained during my treatments!! . I would personally recommend a spa day to those who cant afford to go into london.
I have been going to Little Jannah regularly since it opened last year and have had a number of treatments form facials, to body treatments and cuts and colour, i have also had a spa day with a friend and i have to say that the service i received was always exceptional. The hair colour treatments in particular are brilliant and from some one who has been colouring her hair for years my hair is in so much better condition and i still get to hightlight my hair without damaging it. Their priceing is very competitive and they charge less than someof the smaller salons I have been too so am surprised at some of the comments mentioned in one of the reveiws.
The management at little Jannah are so friendly and im sure that if anyone does have a problem they would bend over backwards to rectify it.
I would advise anyone to go and experience the services at Little Jannah for themselves and make your own mind up!!
I am Sylvia Robinson from Huddersfield. I went to Healthy Beauty Bar on recommendation by a colleague for Threading, Eyebrow-shaping and Waxing. Now I am regular client of them and I get all my treatments from them. These treatments include Threading, waxing, back and shoulder massage and full body laser/IPL hair reduction. Healthy Beauty Bar is really a Health Conscious Beauty Salon as they say it and I am 100% agree with them. They are brilliant and their services are amazing.
Good place for eyebrow threading.
I just walked in and the lady welcomed me warmly.
I must admit I was a bit wary as the two previous experiences I had with eyebrow threading left me annoyed.
They always seem to tend to thread my eyebrow way too thin making me looking too plucked and unnatural.
I am well satisfied that this didn't happen this time.
Will use them again.
I went to Malika few days ago to have my eyebrowes done and they were the best shape ever! I absolutely love it!!
I told the lady how I wanted my eyebrows becasuse I get quite paranoid about them being too thin, and she told me just to trust her, and I'm glad I did because she did exactly what needed to be done to them to balance them out and allow them to grow again properly after previous bad threading had led them to be unbalanced. I would recommend this place for threading. It's great that you don't need to book an appointment, just go in whenever you like and get it done. One thing I wasn't happy with was the fact that the eyelash extensions were only for dramatic, not natural, and it doesn't say this when purchasing the voucher.
I've been for two out of my three sessions of eyebrow threading at this brow bar now, and the sessions couldn't have been more different. My first session was lovely, i've been getting my brows threaded for years and the lady was really friendly and the threading was quick and reletively painless. She advised me on bits I should grow out (I got them waxed the time before elsewere and they had taken too much off) and didn't leave a single hair unthreaded in the eyebrow area. Perfect experiance and what I would expect from a treatment that would normally be £15 a go.
My second trip though was horrible. The woman at the reception ignored me for ages, and then when I showed her my voucher she said 'oh you have a voucher!' and then faffed around taking to another woman doing eyelash extensions for a bit. When she came back she said again 'you have a voucher?'. 'Yes!' 'Ok if you have voucher come here' and stood by the chair. At this point I was getting the feeling that this woman doesn't usually do threading or is very new to it and that the only reason she was doing it then was that I had a voucher! And that feeling was confirmed when the threading was the most painful i've ever had, she missed loads of bits which I kept having to point out and ask her to remove. She flat our refused to remove some hairs as she said they were too short (which no one else has ever told me before when getting threading). Overall a horrible experiance, at least I still had reasonably even eyebrows at the end of it (though they needed some plucking when I got home!).
I still have one more session left, but after the last time I may skip it. Will go elsewhere for my eyebrow threading in the area. Benito's should tell all of their staff that customers with vouchers should be treated well and not given the receptionist/trainee, as they may be full time full paying customers in the future!
I had three eyebrow threading sessions on the offer and this was a good deal. No appointments were encessary and I just turned up and each time they did the treatment within 5 minutes of waiting. Quick effecient and good results - I was very happy with this offer.
I have always drove past this salon and never noticed it untill a friend of mine told me about it.. wanting to see what all the fuss was about this new salon i booked myself in for a manicure and it just so happened that i ended up having the full works!
I have to say the girls done a fab job with the decor in there, lovely wallpaper and brilliant polishes! all the top ones from OPI ESSIE CHANEL AND DIOR! I could not belive my eyes.. all the girls were friendly and prices were way too reasonable.
Down fall was i ended up getting a ticket on my car outside, as i was only ment to be coming in for a manicure i ended up having it all, but the girls offered to pay half and i took it of course!!!
well deserve treat i say!
Hidden away in a corner of the beauty department this is an in demand service and so is often busy with a queue of people waiting. The service is fast and professional although not especially cheap (£13 for eyebrow threading). The only criticism would be that anyone waiting has to stand as there isnt a waiting area.
Nita is a first-class beauty therapist and I honestly can't rate HeavenSent Beauty highly enough. Over the years, I've had many treatments, always thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing, obviously depending on the treatments. Really get lots of compliments on my brows, nails and glowing skin! Am really looking forward to trying out the new Environ products and facials, too.
Wonderful ambience in very pleasant surroundings.
Good value, good job done by the therapist; nice neat brows - what I would expect. I found a couple of stray hairs later but the shaping was great. A little bit more of a massage afterwards would go down a treat!
The deal (£18 for 3 threading treatments) was excellent value for money. I came out with a good eyebrow shape. My only complaint is that both times I've gone the threader has nicked a small part of my skin, and this has taken a few days to heal. I've been threading for years, and have had treatments in London and India, but this is the first time someone has pulled my skin instead instead of my hairs! I know this doesn't happen to everyone, so I will address it specifically on my third visit. Whether or not I continue to use Benito Brow Bar will depend on this last appointment.
I love this place. From the moment you walk in you're made to feel welcome and at home. I couldn't reccomend it enough. If you're getting your hair done then there's always a complimentary stress relief massage with a choice of lovely smelling oils.
Kate has been colouring and cutting my hair for the past year and each time does a brilliant job. She knows what will suit me and I always come out really pleased with the results.
I've also recently started getting my eyebrows threaded by Lorenza and honestly get comments from people saying how good they look!
Sophia is a very good therapist. I have visitied her for many years and have always been pleased with all her treatments. She makes you feel very relaxed and comfortable. Above all she is very friendly and always makes you feel at ease. I would thouroughly, recommend anyone wanting treatments to try Sophia. Well done
I live in the City and dropped in to have upper lip threading. Service is curt - no smiling, no nonsense. But for £2.50 I was more than pleased with the speed of the service and how thorough it was. You can't come in here expecting any more than the bare minimum - but I was pretty content with what I got.
Good service and relaxing until people stop and look at you whispering whether it is sore or not. Maybe a bit more privacy e.g a screen or something along those lines would be beneficial.
This was a convenient location with late night opening. The service was quick, speedy and efficient and I didn't have to wait long. The beautician was friendly. It was efficient rather than luxurious.
I visited the bar in Debenhams Oxford Street London,. and the staff so friendly and I ended up with amazing lashes! Defenitely visit again! Greal value for money, staff were very professional and didnt waste any time. The voucher made it great value for money. I also had eye brow threading which was also great!
I had the half price eyebrow threading treatment done at benito bar in debenhams, I usually go to benito bar in selfridges when I desperately need to get my eyebrows done and I dont have the time to book an appointment at my local salon. I think it was a good deal for the price but I wouldnt have purchased the voucher at full price as you can get it done a lot cheaper and for the same quality elsewhere. The therapist I had was very professional, she asked me what shape I wanted and asked if i was ok through out the treatment. I would go again but only if there was an offer on :)
The Benito Bar is found on the open-plan ground floor of Debenhams and consequently you can hear all the hustle and bustle of shoppers. Thus it is certainly not a relaxing venue for a beauty treatment especially as you are completely exposed to the public. I also found it quite frustrating that I could not understand my beauty therapist because her foreign accent was so thick making it very difficult for me to communicate with her. I was also surprised that there were no pictorial examples of different eyebrow shapes.
All that said, the deal itself is excellent value for money so I would buy the same offer again.
I didn't bother booking for the treatment, which was fine - they have lots of chairs there (about 6/7) and in fact there wasn't anyone else there at the time. The bar is in Debenhams, so it is obviously out in the open - however, it's right up in the far corner and I wasn't bothered by this at all. The therapist sat me down, wiped my brows and got right to it! If I had one complaint, then that was it. I sort of mentioned something about not wanting them too small, although she didn't seem to be listening she later said "I always do them natural, is ok?", which was fine for me. She also showed me in the mirror at each step ("I keep this line, ok?"), which was helpful. I've been growing my brows out for the past couple of months, so had gotten rather used to them being larger, so when I saw the finished result I was shocked at how small they were, and did say so to the therapist who was concerned. But she pointed out that my brows had been fully grown, and that I would get used to it - which I have! I think I do have small brows in the first place, so there's only so much she could have done (I don't have lovely thick Indian brows like hers) - and the arches she gave me are really lovely.
I think the sheer speed that it took to whisk them away somewhat added to my momentary distress! But I'm going back next month to keep them up. With the Wahanda deal it was well worth it, but even at £15 a pop (or is it £12?) I think it's good value and makes such a difference.
So I'm very happy!
I called in on the off chance that they'd be able to see me, they were really accommodating and agreed to see me there and then. The service was excellent, the brow shape was what I'd asked for and spot on. The therapist also gave me advice on follow on treatment which was helpful.
Overall everything was fine, got taken straight away, nice comfy chair, pleasant staff. Personally i would prefer a bit more privacy, people constantly walking past and commenting/watching. Nice shape to eyebrows and not to sore!
this is a case of "ronseal" - it does exactly what it says on the tin.
the location was very handy, based on the ground floor in debenhams on oxford street, along with all the other treatment areas. the "bar" itself was very clean, new and modern looking, with uniformed staff, who all looked very professional and presentable. there were several chairs so you will not have to wait too long.
the concept of being able to drop in whenever you wanted was great, especially for someone like me who sometimes works late and finds it difficult to keep appointments.
once i had sat down my therapist went through what she proposed to do, all the while holding a mirror to my face so i could see what she was planning. the treatment itself was fairly quick - if you've had threading before you'll know its a few minutes of slight discomfort, but more than outweighed by the benefits of the brows that you will have afterwards.
this offer was brilliant - a normal threading session is £14 so to get 3 for £18 was a real bargain - i for one will be keeping my eyes peeled for when they do it again!
I felt a little exposed as the salon is open to the whole store but the value was amazing and the staff very friendly. I am delighted with the eyelash extensions- i still have several intact 4 weeks on and have been complimented several times. I also booked in for eyebrow threading and this was done very proffessionally and quickly and completely transformed my face.
A fab deal with 10/10 results. Do this deal again please!
As a long term fan of both eyebrow threading and eyelash extensions, I was over the moon to get Wahanda vouchers for both these treatments at Benito. Unfortunately that was soon quashed by the poor quality service I received. In the first instance the phone number on the vouchers wasn't valid and having spent two days trying endlessly and unsuccessfully through a great deal of different departments in the store Benito is located I gave up and had to make the journey there just to make an appointment. When I arrived for my appointment the one therapist available didn't seem to understand the concept of the Wahanda vouchers and after much explaining agreed to just do my eyebrow threading. I expected her to be an expert and asked for her to keep it neat and suited to my face shape (at Blink Brow Bar in Selfridges you barely have to ask, they shape it perfectly every time and I was expecting the same level of ability) but what I ended up with was two slugs that didn't even match each other. I then had to wait for 10mins for the lady who would do my eyelashes. I've been getting my eyelashes done for a while now and know what works. What I got were barely there eyelashes no longer than my own - none of my friends could tell the difference post treatment. To make matters worse, after all that the second therapist realised I hadn't been given the necessary health forms to fill out before treatments start and then asked when I wanted to do my eyebrows! When I told her they'd already been done by her colleague, shock is the best word I can use to describe her expression. By the next day the eyelash extensions were really starting to hurt as she'd planted them so close to the lash line that they were digging into the flesh there so I had them removed only 4 days later. I am still waiting for my eyebrows to grow out so I can get them done properly somewhere else. All I can say is avoid Benito at all costs, or at least the one in Debenhams, Oxford Street, London as it was by far the WORST treatment I have ever had.
The eyebrow bar is located on the first floor of Debenhams, just behind the perfumes counter, so strategically placed for a quick squirt on the way in! Normally there's no need to wait, as there are two members of staff and the bar isn't that busy. Unfortunately I think I'd been the first person to use a voucher there, so the staff were a little confused by it and went off to make a few phonecalls and expected payment afterwards, although I did present it on arrival, but hopefully this problem is sorted now (and the lovely people at wahanda were very good about it! Generally staff were polite and the treatment was of a good standard, with only one or two strays at the end. I would have perhaps preferred them to go a little thinner than they did, but the overall shape was good, and an improvement on what I arrived with. Note: If you do accept the offer of gel at the end, do make sure it hasn't dribbled down the side of your face when you leave- I think my beautician might have been a little over-enthusiastic in her application!
Definitely the worst ever threading experience I've had and I've been having my brows done this way for over 5 years. The threader asked what I wanted (just a tidy up as I like my big brows and didn't want to lose the arch), however what I've ended up with is a very thin line and she even managed to miss long hairs underneath the arch. Certainly won't be returning!
Threading:
I was not happy with the way one eye-brow had turned out, so I switched beauticians in between the treatment. What the lady had done was threaded my eye-brows at a weird angle and had taken off more hair than what I had communicated. When the next lady took over, the owner, I was happier with the result.
Waxing:
I had a bad experience with this part. My waxing was carried out by the owner. Two things contributed to my bad experience: the quality of the waxing and the attitude of the owner. The quality of the waxing was poor and at best mediocre. The owner had missed lots of hair that was visible to me. I had to do this several times, as she kept on missing hair. When I did request this, I was greeted with reluctance, aggravation and a defensive attitude. I was reminded many times about her substantial experience in this field in response to my requests of finishing the job off properly. I would consider the result of my waxing in terms of quality, to be mediocre and with regards to the service, very poor. I am now left wondering, how, in the light of her 23 years experience, she can overlook such basic elements in a common beauty treatment and customer service. Would I re-visit, NO. Would I recommend, NO based on my experience, however, that's an unfair recommendation since my negative experience was limited to two beauty treatments. I hope they get better and if you decide to go, that your experience is far more pleasant.
Price:
Is nothing to frown over too much, and is cheap compared to London prices but expensive compared to east-London prices. Eye brow threading here is £6. In other parts of London, I know you can expect to pay up to £20. However, I usually go to a lovely beautician, Ruposhi, based on Bethnal Green road who charges £3.50 for eyebrows. She is very good.
i've actually had many treatments done at little jannah and i can strongly say it is the best ladies only spa that i have been to with such a high quality of result at a reasonable price. its so amazing that it is actually close to me so i'm very glad i have finally found a place were i can get pampered from head to toe in just once place and not having to go to different places for my hair or for my waxing or for a massage ... it is definitely a place in which i would recommend to all ladies !
This place is always has great offers, everything from sunbeds to waxing, to botox to lasers. I have been going a number of years and its always adding services. I'm always popping in and they always try and fit me in. They are friendly and dont put snobby air/attitude on. I have recommended it to my friends i dont think beauty treatments should be expensive.
the place is small but very clean the beauticion very good
far from my work or home but when you got a good service not matter wher the place is!!!
This is my most favorite place ever! I have been going to Neena for years, and she has always made by eyebrows look perfect (so I've been told!). I have been to other people there, and everyone is good. But I love Neena the best! And seriously, it's $7. And you get a card, so your 11th thread is free. Run, don't walk to this place!
The staff is certainly very friendly. I had two treatments. The first one that is conducted by the owner of the salon. You can see that she love her job and is trying to do a great job. I asked for Brazilian though she recommended hollywood. I thought Brazilian is to get rid of all hairs? But she said it is the other way round. Anyway. It comes with a 10 extra charge. When I went and did my leg. It is another lady that did it for me. Dont think she is that thrilled. She is just there to do her job. Haha. Over all, it is okay.
Amazing!!!! The place was nice and definitely tidy. Loved the staff there, ever so professional. As to the therapist I was so positively surprised. She does know her staff for sure. During the treatment (bikini waxing) she was very patient, understanding and gentle. Loved the fact that the therapist after the waxing thread all the unwanted hair, through the whole treatment used organic products (which she makes herself and they work beautifully), had plenty of tips and advises. I am well fussy person and had waxing done plenty of time but after the treatment in Etrily Beauty Health and Wellbeing Boutique for the first time had no reason to use tweezers, the skin wasn’t irritated and no wax left on my skin. The outcome pleased myself and fulfill my expectations in 100%; Ieft the place with a big smile on my face even though the treatment is not that pleasant in itself. Recommend!!!
Unfortuantely the therapist was unable to make the appointment I'd originally booked but no-one let me know until I got there! However, the receptionist was very apologetic, polite and helpful in setting up a new appointment.
When I did go, the therapist was excellent and did a great job with my eyebrows. I've used threading treatments before but this one wasn't painful at all and had longer lasting results. The environment was calm and the I'd happily recommend Kamini to others.
I went to Strip Soho for the first time the other day. I had read great things about it in the past and it totally lived up to them. It was a clean, comfortable place with experienced and friendly staff.
I popped into Malika to get my eyebrows threaded, whilst being in the Westfield Shopping Centre. It's quite a small salon and with glass doors anyone passing can see the treatments in progress. This didn't bother me but it might others. As it was a Sunday afternoon it was very busy, but as the treatments are quick I only waited for 5 or 6 minutes. Once seated the therapist got to work. She was very quick and efficient and surprisingly it didn't really hurt. After finishing each eye brow she handed me a handheld mirror to check the results. I pointed out some stray hairs she'd missed which were immediately removed. I can't fault the treatment, just the price - £15 seems very steep for just 5 minutes therapist time.
However, I was very impressed with the fact that the therapist gave me advice on growing back over-thinned eyebrows. All you need to do is mix 50% Castor oil with 50% Olive oil (mix well) and apply every night to your eyebrows before you go to bed. Apparently will take a couple of months of applying to grow back. I have just started using so will report back. Also liked the loyalty card they gave me where you'll get 1 free treatment if you book 6 threading sessions.
Only one word to describe - OUTSTANDING... I have visited Aveda salons all over the world and this is definetly the best! My girlfriend and i visited and we were blown away by the service. We had some great spa treatments and then my partner had a blow-dry to finish... Such ease! Loved it - 5 stars
I have been a regular here for 2 years now and my eyebrows always look great. I usually don't have much time on my hands so pop in when I can - they almost always take me in and do a good job in next to no time . I would recommend this salon to anyone working in Canary Wharf
Malika is the best salon i had ever been in London. I go there to have my eyebrows and nails done every 3-4 weeks. I love the way they clean cuticles,it's absolutely perfect. They do everything with speed and quality. In 4 months they changed shape of my eyebrows completely. I advice all of you go,try and you will love it.
I was really disappointed on visiting Malika in Canary Wharf, so much so that I was incensed to write a review about it here. I arrived 2 minutes early for my appointment and was made to wait for 10 minutes, the whole time sitting on a chair watching the lady before me having her eyebrows threaded. This was clearly quite uncomfortable for her as we were less than half a meter apart. Hence my low grade for 'facilities' and 'ambience'.
At the same time as I was waiting, another lady came in who said that she'd had an appointment booked that morning, but when she arrived for her appointment was told that they were too busy and she would have to return after midday. She was then told she would be waiting another 35 minutes for her to finally have her appointment.
Once my appointment started, I told the therapist (whose name I do not recall) that I wanted minimum taken from the top of my eyebrow as I was trying to regrow them. The 9 months I have been doing this has totally been eradicated now as the therapist seemed to ignore my request. I was clearly shocked when looking in the mirror at the first eyebrow, but the therapist didn't bother asking me why I was upset with the result. She just told me to lie down again and she continued with the next eyebrow. I told her she had taken too much off but she completely ignored me and just carried on going. The result was that (in my opinion) my eyebrows were completely crooked! As I regularly have my eyebrows threaded the whole treatment lasted 3 minutes at the most.
At the end, the "indian head massage" lasted 30 seconds as the therapist was clearly annoyed that I was unhappy with her work. Not once was there an apology or an attempt to discuss rectification of the damage done. She gave me a loyalty card which I told her I would not be needing. Again, no query as to why I was unhappy. She then went on to thrust into my hand, without saying anything, a receipt for 15 quid. For 3 minutes of (in my opinion) TERRIBLE work! Frankly, I was quite gobsmacked. Then she turned around and walked off. No sorry, no thanks, nothing. If she didn't agree that it had been done badly that's fine, but I would expect at least a quick chat about it so I could have a real opportunity to voice my concerns.
I would strongly advise people to avoid this salon as far as possible. Although it is convenient for me, as I work close by, I will be journeying back to House of Fraser on Oxford Street (which is brilliant) or Harrods for my eyebrow threading in the future.
Newly fitted out spa in probably the best location in Birmingham, just on 5 ways island.
Lovely interior, gorgeous chandelier (I wish I knew where to buy one like it!) lovely ambiance, relaxing atmosphere
I had full waxing and threading of my eyebrows done by Stacey, she was attentive and very knowledgable, and did a really good job, I will defiantely be going back there, and would (and have) recommended the spa to everyone I know!
tThanks again
I shall be back again soon!
I was expecting to feel uncomfortable having my eyebrows threaded in the middle of the cosmetics department in Frasers in Westfield. However, i felt quite comfortable and the threading was very good. I have had my eyebrows threaded fairly regularly at different places but i think this was the speediest and most accurate.
Blink produces their own oil which they apply after threading to soothe your skin and it really is lovely stuff. Sadly it is the price that puts me off going again. i think £17 is rather steep considering you can have threading done nearby in Shepherds Bush for £6. But to be fair i suppose that sort of price is to be expected in a department store in Westfield.
Beautiful U Day Spa is outstanding. I attended with a group of four friends to celebrate my birthday. As we walked into the salon the fragrance of essential oils and soft music immediately started to melt our tension away. The dim lights and soothing decor was relaxing to our eyes and mind. Immediately we were served with warm herbal teas or mineral water to hydrate our body while a thorough consultation was taken. During our spa treatments the couch and towels were heated for comfort and to help relax our tensed muscles.
All the therapist were smartly dressed in brown uniform and the customer service was first class. The staff were extremely attentative, we did not feel rushed, we felt cared for and each treatment was personalised to meet our needs. You feel welcomed and looked after from the minute you walk through the door to the minute you leave.
We really appreciate having this Beautiful Haven on our doorstep and we have been attending every month since 2005. We have now tried all the treatments in the brochure and rate each one 10 out of 10.
Malika at Westfield is amazing. The salon is stylish and made me feel really welcome. I had the REN 5 phase bespoke facial which uses acupuncture and shiatsu techniques. The REN products that were used felt incredible and I have noticed the powerful benefits of the facial straight away. Would recommend the facials at Malika!
Since I discovered the Glow Beauty Bar at Debenhams in Clapham Junction I haven't been anywhere else to have my eyebrows threaded. It is a very simple layout of 2 reclining chairs situated at the back of the beauty hall and you simply wait your turn to be seen. Often the therapists are free and you can be treated immediately, however if not, the wait is generally short and there are stools provided to sit on in the meantime. Clearly lunchtimes and weekends you may have a longer wait.
Shoppers do tend to gawp as they pass you, but this doesn't generally bother me and your eyes are shut most of the time so it's not really a problem. The service is quick, the girls know exactly what they're doing and it seems to be cheaper than a salon service. The convenience of not having to book for an appointment is perhaps the biggest pull and they also do a loyalty scheme where you are provided with a card to be stamped each time you go and on your sixth visit it's free.
I have just discovered there are 6 glow bars in and around London all located in department stores, which makes life even easier if i can't get to Clapham Junction next time my brows need attention!
I am regular customer to Mother Earth since 2000. Over the years I have experienced many different treatments. I have always found the standard of treatments & care given by the staff to be excellent. I am so lucky to have such a fabulous & friendly place right on my door step. I have recommend Mother Earth over the years to many friends.
