I booked an appointment at Bella Beau about a month earlier. I went there and they were closed!!! I called them, emailed them, wrote on their facebook wall and they NEVER replied. Their response was to delete my comments!!

They are unreliable and probably a waste of money booking there. By the way, their shop did not seem to be clean (but I only saw it from the outside)

The massage I received at Sanctuary had to be the worst I have ever received. The therapist had no clue about massage. It was a complete waste of time and money. I would never recommend this spa, and it is overpriced.

What an interesting experience! In the heart of Chinatown with shop signs in Chinese I was a bit stuck how to find Elegant Studio and asked some people who didn't understand English but were helpful and asked in a shop for me. I needn't have worried because there was a sandwich board outside in English and inside too directing me to the 2nd flooe. Upstairs the male receptionist did speak perfect English and was welcoming and helpful. My massage therapist.dod speak English too and was very nice. Although she was quite petite she gave a powerfully strong deep tissue massage. It was amzing. I was enchanted by the whole experience.

Great massage, and the masseuse was really sweet and bubbly. This business is brand new, and owned by the ladies who run it, which is evident by the warm welcome and care provided. Definitely worth a visit!

The beauty room is just what we needed, they provide a really cool service, they actually listen to one's needs, and are on hand for advice. facials are just fantastic, and their waxing is just superb. no pain, quick and painles.. always ready for a return.

FAULTY TOWERS SPA!! Go somewhere else. No-one to greet you upon arrival, no signs up anywhere with company name, mirrors and prints are not on the walls (which makes getting ready after a 'massage' rather difficult) and considering the place was 'rennovated' in Dec...you'd think they could bang a few nails in the wall to mount their frames! A general air of confusion about the place, not smooth running at all. Odd layout. The 'massage room' was sooo unbelievably basic - more like pasting tables in a scabby old broom cupboard...honestly..made me feel yuck. No soothing whale music, candles, or soft lighting here either! And the best part was the hole in the roof - you know the kind that cameras can poke through easily? Shocking! You have to walk past an open cleaning cupboard complete with Henry hoover and other grotty, smelly stuff just sitting there to get to this oasis of luxury. The doors are straight from the 50's and all in all, it's a million miles away from any sort of luxury. They don't even have any nail driers, so our (rotten) manicured nails were constantly smudging whilst attempting to eat our afternoon tea - which was the only decent part of our time at The Residence. Worst spa day EVER, and I have been to many, many excellent spa's. :-(

The runway is a very nice, professional and glamorous salon. The therapist was lovely, professional and friendly. I was made to feel very welcome and will definitely be going back.

I have been to this salon twice,i was very surprised by the size of the beauty room as normally they are very small in othe rsalon i have been, this was spacious, smell lovely and seems very clean so i felt very comfy straight away. The first therapist was good although a bit pushy regarding my demand on having less pressure on my shoulders , she insisted a bit bearing with the pain saying this was a massage that suppose to hurt, i didn't totally agree.I prefered the second massage as i have done it with a asian therapist, she was very delicate and made me feel very comfortable and relaxed.

I have been here before and had a pedicure but I would prefer to return here for another massage. It was really good and I felt wonderful afterwards. I don't like that they charge you a fee to pay by credit card. Especially as their treatments are a little on the expensive side. I will just have to remember to visit a cashpoint before I visit again.

It was our second visit to the Spa and we loved every minute of it.
The Hamman was fantastic and the massage afterward was even better.
Victoria, Carli and Suzanna again peformed miracles and the staff supporting were also very good.

nice little place, with good therapist. However, this is not a spa and more of a herbal shop with a treatment room. You could hear the road noise and people in the shop. However the treatment was nice and ok value for what it was.

A great value service, and the therapist was very friendly and calming, I came out feeling very refreshed and relaxed - all in all, a great success and I enjoyed it very much!

It would've been great if there were more infomation about the venue on the website. OVerall it was worth what i paid for the voucher and i was satasfied with my treatment.

Lovely! The pool, sauna and steam room were lovely and the relaxation area was well set out. The massage was amazing - highly recommended.
Two small things - the change room is TINY and also bring a book or your own magazine, the reading choice was limited (John Lewis catalogue ???)

Great small venue at the back of Victoria. The massage was really relaxing and the therapist was very professional. The rooms has 2 beds so you can do a couple massage. I would go back for sure. Thanks

Had a wonderful day at MacDonald Houston House Hotel

I was the only one there on a spa day so was well looked after by all the staff. The lunch was excellent - love the boxes. I had the thai beef and noodles

I had the pool to myself several times during the day which was a bonus

I had a facial included in my deal but also purchased a back, neck and shoulder massage on the day. The therapist was excellent - firm but not painful.

My only negatives for the day and things that the spa could do better was

- relaxation room for using before and after spa was not very relaxing - it needs to be more like the one at Inchyra and Marine Hotel at North Berwick which was very relaxing and able to lie down properly
- Would benefit from a jacuzzi

As a birthday treat to myself I shopped around carefully for a spa day. At Virgin Active Canary Wharf I chose the mini spa package which more than exceeded my expectations. After reading several reviews of other spa packages that are held in places that are also busy gyms, I was a bit concerned that I may not get quite the pampering and chilled out experience I wanted. However I was very pleased and delighted with my whole experience. The spa was in a seperate area of the whole complex, providing peace and space from the noise and other business of the gym. My package included 3 treatments all performed by Natalie who was a friendly, helpful and amazing therapist. My skin consultation test thing got me a bit baffled, I wasn't really sure if the results from the computer readings were realistic or not, but I went along with it anyway. Both my facial and massage treatments were the best I have ever received. They were so relaxing and thorough. And on top of my treatments I also had full use of the gym and spa facilites and was given free use of a robe and towel also. The gym, pool, spa and changing areas were also very impressive and luxuriously spead out. In fact the jacuzzi I could even swim around in!! Any other jacuzzi I have been into, even in top hotels, normally are only small and able to squeeze 3 or 4 people in. There were two saunsa; one inside the female changing area, and another mixed one by the pool along with steam room. The pool also was a generous size and looked right out over the Thames. The view and location was stunning. Overall, it was a very pleasurable experience and I'd reccommend it to anyone. I'll surely be back someday.

I recently had a massage at the chic Le Belle Jolie Beauty Salon and was complied to write about what a wonderful experice I had. The moment I set foot into the salon I felt relaxed and comfortable not to motion how divine it smelled. I was booked in for 1 hour massage as a treat to my self and it was just heavenly (actually it lasted a little longer). I could not recommend this beautiful vintage salon more highly and have already told my friends about the place. Thank you La Bella Jolie for such a wonderful afternoon. Cynthia

Would I tell my friends about this? NO!!!! Bad Manager!!! Bad service!!! My nails were left in a terrible state, the polish peeled off within a day and a half. My massage was awful. The bed that was used didn't have a hole for my face so the massage was done on a twisted spine and vertabrae it left me with very bad neck pain (I had to take pain killers for 3 days), it was meant to be a hour massage I was lucky if it lasted 30 mins. Very unprofessional service. It wan't until the end of my treatment I was asked if I had any allergies. No matter how good the deal is don't get it pay that little bit extra for much better service,

Never ever go here. I had a groupon deal for a body wrap and a massage. The woman was clearly not trained, she hurt my back, I have broken blood vessels and painful bruising. Big Mistake!

Nice place, staff very friendly and treatments were nice and at a great price for two hours of relaxation. we were booked in for a massage and facial, booking was done over the phone and real smoothly

Found it quiet hard to find the salon and when I did it was a hairdressers with small therpy area. However the staff were all very friendly and the neck and shoulder massage was great and very cheap, not sure I'd be happy to pay in full for the treatment normally though.

This hotel is a beautiful period property on amazing grounds, however, the "spa" is not really a spa...its a pool, sauna and steam with very few poolside loungers (10 in total - we had to sit on the floor!) and a separate, darkened relaxation room, which has chairs and foot stools with tea/coffee (10 seats there too). We booked as a group of 12 and they did not warn us there would not be enough seating, in addition, people had got there earlier and occupied all the loungers - leaving them with just towels/belongings on for many hours, without sitting in them. As you can imagine, it was slightly infuriating for those of us sitting on tiled floor! Management refused to bring in more seats due to having no "non slip" feet and did nothing about the unused loungers. All of that aside, we did have a lovely time and the hotel is very nice, but I'd not recommend this as a real spa resort.

Returned here with my friend, after loving it the first time. Had a fantastic time, staff were brilliant, very helpful and accommodating. Great facilities, loved the hydro pool, can't wait to go again!

I went o Loconego on Sunday. It was very easy to book, I also rescgeduled my treatment wice and again it was not problem at all. The treatment room is downstairs, but looks fine. I was very pleased with my massage but especially with facial, it was excellent. Overrall would come again

I purchased the Spa Day Rassoul Treatment with mini manicure and full use of the spa facilities for 2 people. I contacted the spa to book in for our treatment and unfortunately could not get my desired time but was given a later alternative and asked for our robe size and slipper size. I got rather excited at this royal treatment.

The day prior to our visit, my friend's sister arrived unexpectedly and they called the spa to see if she could attend and they managed to squeeze her in for a massage.

On arrival it felt like we had been transported to a Moroccan oasis of opulent calm, the decor is amazing.

As I had booked a spa day with full use of the facilities we arrived an hour before our pre booked treatment to relax but rather than being whisked into these spa facilities we spent 20 minutes in Reception then moved to another room for another 20 minutes before even hitting the changing room to change into our robes and slippers. This kind of took the shine off the first impression of our spa experience as we had envisioned relaxing around the steam room and heated bed area.

My friend and I were then taken off for our Rassoul treatment which was lovely. We were directed by a therapist into a private steam room with a bowl of mud and advised that we would have 10 minutes to apply it ourselves then the steam would come on for 20 minutes and then have 10 minutes to shower it off.

After our treatment we relaxed with some mint tea in the heated beds section at which point we were wondering what had happened to my friends sister so we took to our feet to hunt her down and discovered that after her massage (which by all accounts was amazing) she had been sitting on her own for most of the time in yet another room.

My friend and I had, as part of the deal a mini manicure (file and polish) to finish off our experience but this took place as the spa was closing and the polish hardly had any time to dry before we were being told that we needed to head to the changing room. I felt that we were being rushed even to the point that my bikini was gathered up by a staff member removing the towels from the changing room (which I still need to get back)! I had no time to dry my hair or apply some make-up!! Perhaps it may be an idea not to book treatments so close to the closing time of the spa??

POSITIVES: Overall I thought The Spa at Dolphin Square was great but it has the potential to be first class. The decor and ambience is amazing. The staff were friendly.

NEGATIVES: We were advised that the spa was very busy and they kept using that as an excuse for leaving us waiting for extended periods. Time management could be better and trying to keep members of the same party together where possible would make it a first class experience. For customers having the rassoul treatment perhaps providing them with some moisturiser as skin was unbelievably tight afterwards.

Billesley Manor Hotel is very warm, friendly and clean. I had a wonderful relaxing stay there as a birthday treat and had beauty treatments. All rooms were clean and relaxing with low lighting and calming music.. Staff were professional and very friendly. I find it hard to relax but this was not a problem for me whist having my treatments. Hettie was my therapist. She was very friendly which made me relax. I told Hettie I did not like lying flat whilst having a facial so she took her time and adjusted the bed to a suitable position for me. While waiting for the treatments I had a cappuccino and could see how helpful all staff were. The pool looked very clean but I did not use it. My husband did and he said it was great. We would recommend this hotel and spa to anyone who wants to wind down, treat themselves to spa treatments and forget everything. I hope to return there soon.

The venue looks really luxurious, and the facilities were very good. Our only complaint was that it was slightly cold in the relaxation room, and when we asked for robes and slippers we were told they were not included in our package, and just had to wrap ourselves up in a towel!

All the staff were wonderful and the venue was gorgeous (looks exactly like on the images)!

One slight issue is that the pool is used for childrens swimming lessons, which does not make for the most relaxing atmosphere. This is a real shame as the rest of it (treatments, location and venue) were brilliant but it did ruin the mood and we ended up leaving before we might have done otherwise.

I normally visit spa's as I work at a spa but I was visiting friends in Harrogate and my mum gace me a voucher...I had the REN Moroccan Rose Ritual...or something like that! It was amazing...this isn;t a spa it is a treatment room...I have given top marks based on this fact...the exfoliation left my skin feeling great and the massage really was bliss! I normally do deep tissue but asked for something relaxing and conditioning...this is exactly what I got.

Newly refurbished and very lovely , staff were helpful and lunch was fantastic . I had a facial and my boyfriend had a massage , my facial was nice but felt a little rushed & a bit contrived .A few niggles, as the swimming pool is for the whole of the hotel there was in influx of familys with childeren that were playing and splashing in the pool, whilst we understand kids play and they were lovely kids but if you have paid for a relaxing spa day childeren arent really wat you want but all in all it was a great day and i will say again the lunch was fantastic !!!

Was a massage pedicure and manicure-VERY PROFESSIONAL SERVICE! Pleasant 2 HOURS! Will come AGAIN.

It was absolutely amazing. I bought 2 vouchers to take my mum along and we both enjoyed every moment. We even stayed longer and bought afternoon tea. Everyone there was fantastic and the whole experience wasbetter than we expected. I've raved to everyone and would highly recommend it. I loved the treatments and we weren't even badgered to buy the products used. Will definitely do this again.

The massage was excellent but the cupping was awful! I was left with actual burns on my skin...the therapist left the room and I believe left the suction glass cups on too long because they were starting to heat up to the point of being painful.

I've had this done before so I'm aware that you have big round circles on your back but these were definitely burns.

I will never go back to this place again.

Nothing amazing, was a pretty average treatment. Venue had a light and positive atmosphere. The "extra £25 voucher" despite being advertised as valid for other treatments was offered only on the same treatment. I arrived early, waited for the therapist to finish up and it ended early. Not that it makes a difference to an average treatment.

I visited the salon as a Valentine treat from my hubby. From the moment I entered to the very last minute I left, I was literally waited on, hands and foot. Staff were very polite, my massage session was great and I felt the effect for almost a whole month. it was my first facial after a very long time and i was a bit aprehensive; but all my aprehension soon faded away at the exquiste touch of the pretty and smartly dressed beautician, who intermittently stopped to check I was okay.

I had a wonderful experience and am looking forward to visiting the Salon again in a forthnight.

I knew in advance that this wasn't a 'spa' as such, but part of the hotel gym. But i was a little disappointed with the facilities. The steam room was lit very brightly and not very calming at all. The sauna was fine, but very small. Towels were available as were a few magazines which was nice. There is a small area to sit and relax in but you can hear the music from the gym.
But the main reason for my visit was a massage and facial. My massage was rather rough and not particularly relaxing but the facial was fantastic and more than made up for the average massage and I left feeling very relaxed and my skin looked amazing. They use Ren products which are lovely.
I thought the music in the therapy room was not appropriate - too upbeat and! I prefer 'plinky plonky' ambient music when having a beauty treatment. but the therapist did kindly turn it down a bit when I asked.

This was a great massage. I was so relaxed and destressed. The location was in a great place and easy to get to. The thearpist was lovely and friendly. I would definitely go again

The first thing to mention is that this hotel in not in the airport and the postcode on the voucher is not recognised by satnav! Make sure you type in the road name if you make a visit otherwise you will get lost like we did. The spa is new and I think there are a couple of things that could be addressed to make the experience even better:
1) the changing room consists of a bench ie there are no cubicles.
2) there are no bins so used water cups were left by the pool etc and lots of used slippers left lying about
3) the massage stated in the brochure involved a head massage which our therapists didn't perform?
4) we were not offered any herbal tea

Having said that the hydrotherapy pool was great, you can have the jaccuzzi jets on as much as you like and the steam and sauna rooms were good and on all the time. We weren't rushed by any of the staff and we could have stayed until closing, or so it seemed. Lovely hot water in the shower and shampoo and conditioner was provided which was an added bonus. Plus hair dryers. Overall a really enjoyable experience which did leave me relaxed, but I don't like I would have wanted to pay any more for it due to the above but as is great value for money. I don't normally give bad reviews, but I wouldn't recommend this place. It is not awful and I am sure there are many places worse out there, but in general, I wouldn't recommend it to my friends.

The venue itself isn't great. Good location just off Oxford Street, but it is in the basement of a hairdressers salon - but it is not clearly signed at all. I walked past about 3 times before finally going into ask where the place was!

The therapist was very good at giving the actual treatment (I had a massage) but the customer service was really lacking from her - I was 10 minutes late to the appointment as I finished work late (and couldn't find the venue!!), and I noticed she only gave me exactly 50 minutes of treatment time. This is fair enough, but I was the last appointment and noone else was waiting. After she finished the treatment, I wasn't offered a glass of water - I had to request this - but then she left me to get ready and literally disappeared. I waited for a bit in the room, then went to look for her, then made my own way out through the hairdressers with everyone staring at me oddly. (In my past experiences, most therapists offer a glass of water or ask you to make your way out when your dressed, or even wait for you to come out the room to escort you out)

Luckily, there was a really lovely girl on reception - I think she worked for the hairdressers also - she was charming and friendly - the venue needs to make more of her.

I must say I love the posts on this place - I had a brilliant experience. I've had massages over the years and this therapist beats the rest hands down. All those who gave a 5star experience were right - the lady who rated low is one of those who expects too much. Me, I too had my doubts at first, after booking a deal, as the Agent sold "a whole lot" at such a bargain price - it really was a bargain - I found it difficult to get a slot, and almost fell into the "forget it" mode - but boy am I glad I didn't. I am experiencing another massage tomorrow and am in no doubt it will be as fantastic as the first. The thing about this therapist is she is gifted and why should she share a gift with an "ungrateful client" - I too would have acted the same, and it's funny how the same complainer went on to book "3" more. Get real - even at full price, which is not much more than the original bargain, you get on this girl's books and you are on to a winner..... I'll tell you how tomorrow goes.

My first experience but not my partner's. It was every bit as relaxing as I expected, with professional and expert staf, highly skilled in their fields, superb facilities and marvellous accommodation. We stayed over a weekend and whilst there was a considerable number of people using the spa it was not crowded by any means, thanks to the variety of treatments and experiences on offer.We will certainly use Titanic Spa again.

What amazing value for money! The food was amazing, I had Lamb with a crust with Port gravy and Potatoes... PLEASE TRY IT! My friend and I were very happy! I would go again 100%! :-)

We were quite nervous about the hammam, never having expeienced it before but it was wonderful.
The setting is gorgeous, lovely northumberland countryside, the fullerton place spa is tranquil and immaculate and the staff are welcoming, thoughtful and discreet, informing you of what you need to do and then letting you get on with it, whilst only being a call away at any time. The hammam was very relaxing despite the self-application which was actually very enjoyable, lots of water and splashing all with perfectly warm/hot water.
The massage afterwards was lovely, we opted for different ones..a back, neck and shoulder and a shoulder face and head the masseuse was very chatty afterwards which was nice, then the tea and cake, mmmmm delicious! we finished off with an hour or so in the hot tub and purchased a smoothie each which was very nice. I would wholly recommend fullerton place spa to anyone.

This is my second visit for a one night stay with my daughter and so knew what to expect. The whole experience was very enjoyable and especially with this deal which was through Wahanda - we had a 55minute massage included. The apartment is spotless, the food excellent. the staff very friendly. I already recommend this Spa to friends both Male and Female and will be going again,

I went this morning and had the most indulgent hour I've had in a loooong time!

Therapist was lovely and recommended a mix of treatments over my hour including exfoliation and massage. I have a recurring back problem which meant my muscles were pretty tight, but she seemed to know exactly what to do to sort them out.

I felt completely relaxed and by the time I left had an extra spring in my step. Will definitely go back, would recommend to anyone!

The beauty therapist was very considerate and conscientious about providing a relaxing and thorough treatment. It was relaxing and pleasant in a private room with nice ambience. Good value for money.

Although my treatment was 20 minutes late I really enjoyed it and it was good value for money.. There is also a steam room and sauna that one can use. One downer is taht there is no real reception area other than a desk in the gym

I went to Estivals with my husband for an anniversary treat. TheSpa is situated in the most beautiful scenery. Had a fantastic time & thought the staff were lovely and very professional. I have been to a lot of spas but this was the best pedicure I have ever had, even better than the one I had for my wedding! My husband has never been to a spa before but as he has a lot of pain in his neck due to driving, he had a neck & back massage and loved it - thanks natalie! I would definately recommend Estivals & hope to come back very soon!

What an absolutly great place, came here to chill out with my mum and wished i never had to leave. spa treatments (massage and facial) were great and the girls were so lovely. room was nice, food was lovely and a complete all round lovely place to stay! staff were very polite and helpfull. deffinatly going to visit again!

Have been to several salons but Estivals is the friendliest, most professional & delightful. The products are top class, the staff really know their business & are all very sweet. All that & beautiful surroundings, Wow. Cant wait to get back there!

I bought a groupon deal to go to this 'spa' and it has put me off buying groupon vouchers. I arrived for my 5pm appointment just before 5 and took a seat in their cramped waiting area. I spent the next 10 minutes listing to one of the staff being very rude to a customer on the phone, not a great first impression. I then spent the next 20 minutes thinking, they're obviously running late but surely can't be much longer. I was wrong, I finally had my appointment at 6pm, an hour late and the reason for them being late was not because they were over running, the therapist was available but didn't like using the room that was free, she wanted to wait for the one that was in use! I couldn't believe it and was certainly not particularly relaxed by the time I had my treatment but I thought maybe my massage would help relieve my tension. Wrong again. It was the worst massage I have ever had. The therapist treated me like she was massaging a bodybuilder (which I am most definitely not). It was incredibly painful, a horrific experience. Luckily the facial afterwards was good but I couldn't wait to get out of there. Even if you find the most amazing deal for this place, don't go, it'll ruin your day and the next few days if my massage was anything to go by!

I recently visited heel n' hands in Hexham with a friend. We got a great deal £20 for a full body massage and a facial. When we arrived we were greeted by a member of the sherlocks team (hairdressers which heel n' hands reside in). Appointment was booked for 2pm, we were asked to wait in reception, 2.15pm came and a lady came out to see if we where there. Not off to a great start so communication needs improving between two companies or regular checks to reception when an appointment booked. We completed new client forms, my friend was taken into the other room for her massage first. My therapist asked me to get on the bed (I was planning on taking off my clothes so no need to take off after facial but was then told that we would need to swap rooms after facial/massage for next treatment, I understand why this was as only one bed had a hole in for face but not great when you are all relaxed!) The facial was good however slightly spoilt by the noise outside in the corridor - people walking up and down (toilet was opposite) and at one point the music was turned up in the salon which could really be heard in both of our rooms and the fact that there was a spot light in ceiling which was directed onto my face. Onto the next room and for my full body massage, whilst getting undressed I noticed a car outside and although muslin type curtains were there I could see him so I guess that he could see me!! Therapist was again good but she was suffering from cold - a fact that she told us as soon as we went in (she did explain that she didn't want to let us down but sniffing and a little coughing through my massage wasn't great). All in all it was £20 for two hours treatment - would I go back yes, you get what you pay for. A few little tweaks and some polishing and this could be a nice little salon.

The venue was perfect and the facilities are first class, staff were excellent and massage was one of the best I've had. Cant wait to return. Hoping to stay overnight. Would recommend to anyone.

A lovely massage at a great price, a really nice massage therapist who put me at ease, and a lovely salon. A very relaxing hour. I would recommend Comptons to anyone.

We spent one night at the hotel. It was definitely the relaxing, quiet time away we needed. Lovely and comfortable room. The hotel is right by the beach, great location.
Sauna/jacuzzi looked a little old and could do with a fresh lick of paint, but still adequate.
We had a 1-hour full body massage, which was good (but have had better), we were then left to relax in the relaxation area, with hot stone under floor heating, which was amazing.

Good location and easy to find. The staff were friendly and our therapist was extremely good and professional. Only down side is their is no swimming pool and jacuzzi and the relaxiton area is a little exposed as you have to walk through to get to the changing room. Good value for half an hour massage and facial.

well worth the money staff friendly the fish nibbling your feet was very relaxing and the smell of the moroccon oil on your face during the facial was gorgeous,would definitely go again

New Way Spa would be by far the best, cleanest, most enjoyable spa if it weren't for the attitude of the managers. The space is beautiful, the treatments are great, the staff is so attentive. But, when I mentioned to the management that my 60 minute service only lasted for 50 minutes, the manager basically rolled her eyes and very reluctantly agreed to give me a 10% discount. For the kind of money you shell out, the manager should have been apologetic for their mistake rather than lookingat me like she just sucked on a sour lemon.

Lovely shop, staff were very friendly, treatments were excellent, really enjoyed it. Only criticism was that the beauty room was too close to the reception and the manager was involved in a dispute on the phone and I could hear the whole thing which was quite stressful. I would recommend this salon as I was made very welcome and the staff were lovely.

It is right next to Queen's Way Station but in the basement of a 'shopping centre' near by. I absolutely loved there, the therapist is great and have been there 3 times so far.

This was an amazing treat for a friend and I. We both had a wonderful day and would recommend to everyone! Definitely would go again.

On arrival I was a little concerned as the waiting room is below a hairdress and was very basic and a bit dull, but the massage rooms are wonderul and relaxing

We really enjoyed the secret spa, worth every penny. It was my Nana's first ever time at a spa and she loved it! The treatment was so relaxing, the girls were really friendly and the place was really clean. The only down side would be the lack of food options available but we went for lunch in Alnwick which was lovely. I would book to go again, we're looking forward to our next visit!

Spa? What spa, Id have been better off going to my local swimming baths. The pool was small, Which wasnt much of a concern, however when half of it was sectioned off for childrens swimmings lessons it really impaired our swim. The sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were average, however the small squealing children running in and out without parent supervision made our "spa day" certainly unique.
The walls around the pool had mould stains and the chainging rooms were cold.
The only good thing about our visit was the back massage I arranged for my mum.
All in all I am ashamed that I gave this as a gift and would not recommend this venue.

Have just been to this very pleasent salon in partick, girls are all fab and very chatty i had a very good experience and loved my cut and colour very glad i had visited this salon , i have recomended this salon to all my friends as they do a great range of beauty treatments too! the massage was out of this world with relaxing music just what i NEEDED!!! my friend had recieved the same treatment and both finished on time will defos be back !!

I went to ENC with an open mind having read some of the previous reviews. I wasn't expecting much but I was very plesantly surprised.

I was greeted warmly by a young man in reception area, filled out a short questionairre about areas that I was having discomfort with...namely my neck and shoulders. I paid the extra £10 to have the therapeutic massage, I was pleased I did.

My therapist, Jessica was very friendly, I was surprised at the pressure she could apply for being such a petite lady. She paid special attention to my neck and shoulders.

The cupping session focused mainly on my shoulder area, the point of cupping is to stimulate blood flow to areas of the body that may have blockages. The darker the area after cupping the more benifical. The right side of my neck has been a problem for some time, when the cup was removed from that area it was far darker than the left hand side.

Afterwards I was given a free consultation on what would be benifical. I didn't feel like I was being forced to buy this or do that. I found the older man very friendly not at all pushy. He suggested that I would benifit from acupuncture to help with stress, something that I had been thinking about trying.

The facilities are basic but it was clean and not too noisey. Some reviewers have said that it was noise, perhaps its more busy at the weekend?

I purchased 2 vouchers for massage at this venue. Unfortunately I never recieved the treatment as they never answered their phone. I left several messages which went unanswered and sent an email which was also unanswered. When I finally got through, after a month of phoning I was told there were no appointments left by a very rude receptionist. Now I have to go through the hassle of trying to return the vouvher. A very dissapointing experience, I won't be bothering with them again.

The massage was very relaxing but not very calming because the rest area space was very small you were sat on top of each other ,also the sauna and steam rooms were to small it was as if they thought oh we have some space left over what we can we fill it with, people were walking up and down out side the therapy rooms were you were having your massage , plus the weights from the gym were being crashed around, the therapist had no badge on she did not tell me here name no advice was given to us after our massage ie drink plenty of water eat light foods which in the past we have been told .We had to leave the building to have lunch as we were not told that we could or could not have lunch there. I would not go back for a second visit or recommend it to friends or family.

We were greeted politely and shown the premises and then given locker keys and robes to get changed. The therapist was fantastic , the treatments great and the actual treatment rooms were lovely. Nice music and lightening.
The value was good, the 2 for one, offer of 82 pounds with two treatments and lunch.
Lunch, the bento box, was nice a salad/noddle combination. However service was poor we were not offered tea or coffee or water and had to find the receptionist to ask.
What let the venue down was that other facilities were limited there was a swimming pool with a whirlpool and a small sauna and steam room. After the treatments we swam for a bit and the went in the whirlpool, but after that there was not much to do. To get water to drink, you had to go back into the changing rooms which were down a quite cold corridor.
I have previously been to Thoresby hall, which was a lot more expensive (we got an offer 2 people for 100 pounds including lunch) and with no treatments however it was a more luxurous option with a buffet help yourself to as much lunch as you like and a glass of wine. Free fruit and water were provided and the facilities were numerous.
However overall at New leaf spa the price was great and the treatments amazing.

Once we arrived at the spa reception we were greeted by smiling reception staff who were so helpful. During the show round and welcome we realised what a beautiful spa we were at, offering 5-star service in everything that they . treatments were outstanding and the therapists professional, but approachable! everything about this spa oozed relaxation and professionalism! carefully designed throughout, stunning colour schemes and wonderful facilities. the contrast between to cold vitality pool and hot steam room and saunas was wonderful, everything we could of asked for in a spa. the food in the lounge was lush, exceeded my expectations. In fact the whole experience met my expectations and more. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

coulnt fault the hotel for the deal we got, over night stay, dinner and breakfast for a great price. the hotel was clean, our room was very spacious. was a little worried when we pulled up outside as it looked dated, looks were decieving. didnt use the gym so cant comment on that. staff were friendly and the the meals were great.

The spa is designed nicely but all in all quite small, with a swimming pool and 2 saunas as well as a nice relaxation area. Unfortunately there were no suitable shower and changing facilities, it seems to have been created with only hotel guests in mind so I could not wash/dry my hair and I had to lock up in the toilet room to get changed. I made use of the spa facilities for about an hour but don't think there is enough there for a spa day. The massage was very pleasant and well done.

Absolutely shocking experience. Appointment was cancelled three times, twice without being told. I travelled all the way from SW London to Canary Wharf to be told my appointment was cancelled. The third time it happened the receptionist told me sorry that I had to travel across London, but they didn't have my contact number... this despite having given it to them on numerous occasions and despite the clinic having called me the day before to change the time of my appointment.

Well it started with the skin consultation held in the reception area, in hearing off the male receptionist and the customers of the coffee shop out front. I'm not used to answering questions about medicines and allergies in front of people I haven't met.
I had booked a spa pamper package worth £88 via groupon and paid £23, but I still feel I overpaid.

The facial was a cleanse, a mask, which was left on while I was put under a steamer for 5 mins. Followed by a toner and moisturiser. Total time 20mins, that isn't even a basic facial, that's a taster at best.
The full body massage was freeze gel rubbed into my feet, calves, back and arms. The fronts of my legs and thighs were untouched. There was no head massage in either the facial or full body massage.
The manicure was OK, but my hands didn't need any real care. The one mis-shapen nail I had, remained mis-shapen. The pedicure was me sat with my feet in a bubble spa for 2 mins, some cream rubbed into the top of my feet, my toe nails filed, cuticles pushed back and nails painted. There was nothing done to the hard skin on my heels and I was so rushed to get out, I had to get my shoes back on whilst the varnish was still wet, so came off in my shoes.

The whole experience took less than an hour. There is no way I would have paid £23 if I knew this was what I was going to get. Not a spa pamper package more of a very basis taster session.

After joining Wahanda, my first priority is to give this hotel and spa the praise I feel it so deserves. My friend and I have been doing regular spa days as our outlet for having babies/toddlers and we've tried many places, usually not to full satisfaction......

We first visited Utopia Spa at Alexander House Hotel for a day offer with lunch and two treatments and simply walking into the foyer, we knew we were now spoilt for all the other establishments that came before. We had such a luxurious day, with beautiful spa facilities and the feeling that you were cared for but left alone. This is a beautiful hotel, lovingly cared for and no hint of shabbiness anywhere. even though in the luxury bracket, there is also no sign of the snobbery that can immediately snaffle relaxation.

So we excitedly booked to come back for their overnight offer, which was very little extra. I really wouldn't do the day offer again when staying over is such good value. We paid a bit more for a suite and wanting the feeling of 'luxury institutionalisation' we so love, got into our robes immediately and padded around without clothes for the next 24 hours. The deal is 3pm to 3pm so you feel like you have a full second day in the spa.

Our deal included dinner to the value of £35 each, which we chose to have in our room (in our robes of course) with an embarrassing choice of chick-flick DVD; we were nearly crying with delight with this simple pleasure and a good glass of wine!

I could go on but clearly my five stars come from the combination of quality, attention to detail and laid-back but efficient ambiance they've got going on here. That would have us coming back alone, but the inky water of the black-tiled swimming pool and generously sized hydrotherapy pool have me dreaming about the next time........it's hard to find that quality of spa facilities in Sussex.

This was an excellent deal. The food in the Italian restaurant was superb and the staff were all so friendly. The massage was excellent as were the sauna facilities. Very relaxing package - would definately recommend it.

My sister and I attended for a pamper session with a few reservations after reading some of the comments on this site. However I have to say they were totally unfounded. I never usually post things on sites such as these but felt that I really needed to say how much we both enjoyed ourselves today. The treatments we chose were massage and facials and were amongst the best we have ever experienced EVER! When we first arrived we were a little surprised at being greeted in what is, in all honesty, a hairdressers. However, the young man who was working on reception was really welcoming and friendly asking us if we wanted to wait in the salon with a drink (the choice he offered was massive!) or downstairs in the relaxation area. We were happy to stay where we were and joined in with the chat and banter that was taking place between the hairdressers and their clients. It was obvious people were made to feel very welcome and relaxed and we immediately felt comfortable. Although the therapists were running 10 minutes late they came to apologise and we were certainly kept entertained whilst waiting! When we went upstairs to the treatment rooms we had a full discussion with the therapists about what treatments we should have and I opted for the aromatherapy massage whilst my sister had the hot stones. My oils were blended specially for me as I have a few medical conditions that meant I couldnt use certain oils. We were lucky that we chose the facials as their new skin care range is really lovely (so much so I bought products to take home). After the treatments we were offered complimentary blow dries (as we had a little oil in our hair)before being taken down to the bottom floor to relax whilst having home made soup and rolls, chocolate cake and wine.

We both really enjoyed ourselves today and have booked back in in 6 weeks time for another pamper session. The salon may appear small from the outside but once inside you realise there is 4 room and we were surprised at how big the place is if you dont mind stairs .

I went to this spa for my birthday and it was nice. I see that someone put that the spa is cozy thats a good word for it. It's clean and smells good. The lady that did my facial had a lot of knowledge about skin care. The massage was great I had a male message therapist and he was great and also very cute. They give refreshments there. me and my partner went to the virgin active health club/headlines at the end of march 2012 after i had purcased a spa day for 2 inc afternoon tea. we had an absolutely fantastic day feeling very relaxed from the moment we steped through the door the headlines staff were absolutely fantastic and very attentive towls were provided by the gym but no robes unfortunately. i had a facial and back neck and shoulder massage and my partner had a full body massage we were both very happy as the therapists were fantasticthe pool ws very quiet as it was a saturday morning but the jacquizi was broken so we were a little disappointed we broke our day up by going for the afetrnoon tea in the raddison this was superb and definately worth its money i also had my hair blow dried in the salon the hair stylist was very good. i would definately recommend this as it ws a perfect day

Firstly, I liked the fact that I didn't have to get in my car and go to a salon. Tracey was very warm and friendly. she only took a few minutes to set up the bed/ equipment, and after going through my requirements, she gave me an excellent massage.

Having Fibromyalgia, I always worry about the pressure, but it was perfect. I was so relaxed afterwards and relieved that I could just 'slump' on the sofa afterwards!!

I went in for a half hour facial and half hour massage. The therapist was friendly and the treatments were done well. Felt very relaxed during and after. The changing rooms and showers were clean and tidy.
i couldn't use the sauna as the lights weren't working and the steam room was ok. Needed a bit of refurbishment. The relaxation area wasn't very tidy and seemed like a waiting area as well.
So overall, thumbs up for the treatments, but the other facilities could do with a bit of a touch up.

My first visit to Blossoms Hair and Beauty salon was an absolute treat. Dusama was my therapist and she was absolutely wonderful. Very professional and friendly. She put me at ease straight away. The treatment room was spotlessly clean and very restful, the choice of music was spot on for providing a relaxing ambiance. I would recommend this salon to everyone.

A beautiful hotel, well maintained and the Spa area and facilities were excellent. We visited for a one night stay with use of spa facilities and we both had a treatment which was lovely. The hotel itself was easy to find, straight off the motorway and we were welcomed by helpful staff who looked after our cases at reception as we had arrived early to use the spa facilities and when we later checked in (check-in is from 2pm) they had already put our cases in our room.
The weather was lovely on the day which meant we could sit outside on the balcony of the relaxation room and could use the outdoor hot tub! We were fortunate in having nice weather as you have to cut across a little yard from the hotel to the spa and they only have the 1 hot tub outside which isn't covered and they do not have a pool. The only downside to the spa is that the women's changing room is a bit of a squeeze if you have more than 2ppl in there!
The food was lovely and the best part of the day for me was when we were brought afternoon tea on the courtyard in the middle of the hotel! A totally relaxing and enjoyable experience I'd definitely recommend it!

the staff were very friendly and helpful, the whole experience was fantstic from start to finish there is nothing that could have been better, the place is outstanding and very big inside, there are 2 jacuzzis, around 3 steam rooms 3 saunas swimming pool, ice cave, foot massager tropical showers ice blast showers the list goes on, after we had a 3 course meal it was sublime, i would say it has been the best spa experience i have had would highly recommend and i will difinatly will be going again.

I loved every moment of the experience from the moment i walked through the door. Nice relaxing experience, just what i needed. Had the mud bath experience which made my skin lovely and soft, and a back massage.

I booked this spa break from Wahanda for my firends birthday after a colleague in work recommended it. I wasn't disappointed!

We arrived at 11am for a mid week overnight stay and were professionally greeted by Kelly on reception. We hadn't pre booked any treatments before hand, and Kelly pointed out that the full body massage was on offer that day. She didn't pressure us into taking up the offer, but left us to think about what treatments, if any we would like during our stay. We left our overnight bag at reception, which would be taken to our room. We were then led to the Bistro area where we were offered a drink of our choice from Tea/Coffee/fresh juice.

We pondered over the treatment list, and because it was my friends birthday, decided to go for the Full Body massage.

We were then given a tour of the facilites and given our robes and slippers. We were also allocated a locker for the duration of our stay.

The thing that impressed me most about our visit was the cleanliness - everywhere was spotless, with fresh towels being replenished all through the day.

I can't express how much we enjoyed every aspect of this spa, even the food was of excellent standards. We were a little bothered that we may go hungry during our stay, but we needen't have been worried at all. The light lunch was only light in the sense that it would not make you feel bloated. It was in the style of a help yourself buffet. The cucumber and mint salad was to die for! Our evening meal consisted of 2 courses included in the cost, but we could go for a 3 course if we wished. Despite our reservations of going hungry, we could only manage 2 courses. Just a tip, the side serving of vegetables amply serves 2, so don't opt for one each like us.

We were pleasantly surprised with our room - it was just like it was portrayed on the web site! Spotlessly clean, and fitted out to a very high standard. Breakfast was a continental style, which was already in our appartment. Overall, I would not hesitate recommending this to anyone, and we have already started to save up for our next visit - this time we will plan in more treatments. The only downside was coming home and it taking three days to feel normal again, it really was relaxing. Thank you Wahanda for making this such an easy and pleasant gift to give.

Well worth it! - staff were friendly and warming. The treatments were really good I could have stayed all day having the back shoulder and neck massage and the facial.

I didn't even get to have my massage so cant comment on it, but felt i needed to review my experience.

I had been unable to get through on the telephone to book my massage as it was engaged continually so sent off a booking request on their online booking system. When you do this, the email they auto generate says they will contact you to confirm, and thank you for the booking.

It got to an hour before the requested time however i still had not heard and so i phoned them to find out whether my booking was going ahead. Unfortunately i was told that they had been very busy and it would be impossible to do my massage.

I asked why no-one had called me, as i would have gone elsewhere had i known sooner, and i was told that they were too busy to even check the online bookings.

As my first experience with them, i have to say i was disappointed, that they could not even get back to me to say they could not offer me my booking.

My Tip - don't use their online booking system.....

On an anonymous street off Oxford Street, when I opened the door I immediately felt happy to be there. It is a very welcoming massage studio, very clean and very attractive, with charming stencils on the walls all through to the studios. and an aquarium. I had to wait a bit because it turned out that the person that was to give me my massage hadn't turned out, but the receptionist gave me a cup of tea and asked another masseuse who had arrived early to do mine for me. This worked out excellently. I had a really fantastic massage from the girl that then did it. This was probably the best massage I have ever had and I left feeling great. I very much recommend the Green Remedies.

Being 5 months pregnant, I was looking sooo forward to my treatment, and I was not disappointed at all!
The exfoliation treatment was amazing. My skin looked and felt great for weeks after. And the massage was very thorough. Bianca paid more attention to the parts where I told her I had the most problems with.
I felt relaxed and at ease the whole two hours. It was bliss. And Bianca is lovely.

The ambience of the place was very good, I felt at ease as soon as I walked in. The masseuse knew how to massage away knots but in a way that didn't cause discomfort. I would definitely go again as everything was done right.

Make sure you try the Thai fusion treatment for couples and you will be amazed by the skills and techniques utilized by the massage therapists. A bit more expensive than other treatments but if i felt it was well worth it. Also i would have liked slightly bigger premises. Finally check for any offers they might have. Last but not least the online booking system is great but it does not reflect 100% availability so call them if you can’t get the slot you want.

Our Spa experience overall was lovely, with plenty of different types of 'room' and although not a big place it didn't feel crowded- we mostly had the different rooms to ourselves. Many of them were small so if it had been busier it may not have felt so tranquil.
One steam room was very noisy, with fairly uncomfortable plastic chairs and therefore not relaxing, but there were other rooms that did much the same thing so it wasn't a big loss. The Jacuzzi by the main pool was cold and although supposedly automatic, the bubbles never came on, the hydrotherapy pool was working perfectly and was at a much better temperature so we just stayed in there.
We both chose a massage, which were thorough, relaxing and done by very personable therapists. The double treatment room was available which was a surprising bonus.

The restaurant was nice, with polite and helpful waiting staff.
The food was pretty good, very dependant on what you chose, i picked well, my husband was a little disappointed - my fig chutney starter was really good, the chicken was nice and the panna cotta for dessert was especially lovely!

The value for money was excellent. And I would recommend the experience for those who are looking for a bargain and so can look past the occasional imperfection.

I went here with 3 other friends. We we're all booked in for a massage at 4:15pm. Unfortunately we chose to go on a Friday and found ourselves stuck in traffic! It took us three times as long as it should have to get there and we didn't arrive until 6:00pm. We rang the venue at 3:30pm to let them know we we're going to be later and they told us they would try and juggle the treatment time to fit us in. By the time we got there we were pretty sure the treatment was a no no. To our surprise the staff were brilliant, so friendly, and kindly offered to do our massage. It treatment was fantastic. The room created a great atmosphere and after being stuck in a car for 3 hours it came as a great relief. We were so grateful for the staff accommodating us in this way. We then explored the spa area, which is split into separate areas. The facilities were amazing, the best I have been to so far. It meal was also very good, with good service from the staff. We left the setting very relaxed, full and contented.

I first visited this place after I bought a pamper voucher off Wahanda.

Firstly, when I arrived, I was most pleased by the ample free parking adjacent to the salon.

On entry, the salon was clean, bright and well kept. I met my therapist Sarah who took me to one of the treatment rooms to explain the package.

To be completely honest, when I book things and I get a very good deal, my expectations are lowered by my "you get what you pay for" mentality. Imagine my surprise at not only meeting a therapist who is resolutely passionate about her work, but also having the ability of making you feel completely at ease instantly.

The room was lovely and warm (towels on the ready on the radiator) and my treatments began.

Everything about it was sublime. I felt like I was in there for more than the two hours. Every treatment I had (massage, body wrap, micro dermabrasion facial, eye treatment, eyebrow tinting and threading - i think there may have been more but I was in relax central so can't remember) was perfect.

I struggle to find a really masseuse but Sarah really knows her stuff and worked those knots out like a dream.

I have since been back for more micro dermabrasion facials and I also have a massage booked for the next visit.

I went to Six Senses Spa in Canary Wharf with my partner and we both had 50 min therapeutic massage. The treatments were excellent and the therapists true professionals. I think it was the best massage I have ever had. The deal we had purchased also included one hour thermal journey in the spa area beforehand. The facilities were excellent but unfortunately we didn't have a lot of time to use them as it took quite a long time by the staff to take us around and fill the forms. All in all, we had a lovely visit and would love to go back.

Not the nicest place considering its location in Knightsbridge. The place is cramped and disorganised and you can hear noises outside during the treatment. Not the most relaxing. Treatment was average. As many others have commented, treatment time was much shorter than the 1 hour stated.

First impression wasn't good as I had to wait for around 15 mintues after appointment time for them to set up the room and find the therapist, but the massage itselt was spot on. Location was convenient for ladies working in the city. Overall was a good experience.

The Spa facilitites were dissappointing. The shower smelt mouldy. We were not given adequate info about the treatments available to us. Compared to other deals on the market it was over priced. Credit to the therapists they were good in the actual massage but i expected much more.

I bought this voucher as a treat for a friend, there was an experience out of order and the foot spas looked a bit tacky with the sink tap but the spa was very nice and very relaxing.
It was just a little shabby in places and toilets could do with a little attention toilet seats where paint rubbed off made you look twice... the robes and towels looked rather aged...

Staff looked rather Young but my friend had really nice massage and my nails were good took ages to dry though and was problematic then getting changed so scuffed one ....

We had a meal in Fenocchis and it was absolutely spot on, the service was excellent

After saying that I had stiff shoulders and a sore back, I was told at reception that I will be given a "relaxing massage" rather than "treatment massage". But the massage I got was definitely intense- not sure if that was relaxing for a Chinese massage, or the lady who gave me the treatment didn't get the message! Either way it was good, and the really stubborn knots by my shoulder blades came out. I had a minor bruise the next day as the pressure was very strong... but did feel better afterwards. Hot cupping was interesting as well, although was not sure if it made a difference. Would definitely visit again.

I had a massage and it was just ok, it was very quick so I couldn't relax properly, also because you could hear people speaking outside while having their manicure and pedicure.
But this place is great for waxing, therapist are good in that. So i'm happy with my deal as it was cheap!

Overall the experience was good. Close to great portland street station so easy to get to. Basic salon but the massage was very good and would recommend. Good value for money and would go again.

As most other reviewers pointed out, the venue is not ideal. The spa is located in the basement of a Hair salon and the stairway is very steep and narrow however that being said, the entire experience and treatment was one of the best I’ve ever had.

The staff was very personable and friendly. They actually called mw by name when I first arrived and introduced themselves which was a nice touch. I wasn't felt rushed at all and was offered green tea while the therapist explained the treatment. I opted for the Earth Element full body massage and it was glorious.

There was so much attention to detail and Carolina's technique was spot on.

I would definitely recommend this venue and would go there again myself.

My fiance and I had purchased a 2 for 1 Rejuvinating Pamper Day voucher from Wahanda for Breadsall Priory, Derbyshire, as a treat for my birthday. Our initial phone contact with the venue was excellent, speaking to both Spa staff and Leisure reception staff. Everyone was very friendly and informative. We booked in advance for a yoga class and a 'body sculpt' class for the morning as well as our included 30 minute treatments and one additional treatment each for the afternoon. We were told the spa was open from 9.30am but that if we wished to arrive earlier we could, which we had to as our first class was at 9.15am.

We arrived at Breadsall Priory just before 9am and were blown away by the beautiful exterior of the building and the abundance of greenery in which it stood. The sun was shining brightly which always helps! The leisure area was bright and modern and looked well-maintained. We were greeted by an extremely friendly male and female, then the latter gave us a quick tour and provided us with towels etc. Great first impression!

The two classes were well-led, the staff explained as they went along and we never felt ignored or left out, despite an evident number of 'regulars' in each class, presumably full time members of the club. They were all women in both classes bar one older gentleman, which my fiance had been anxious about! The facilities were new and clean and the gym equipment we used afterwards was modern touchscreen machinery, also well-maintained. However, the air conditioning unit in the studio space was extremely loud and, as a result, not switched on during the yoga class which did cause us to be quite warm! The fitting rooms were light, airy and spacious and I relished the adults only area as we seemed to choose a day when there were lots of children swimming and having lessons!

Speaking of the pool, it was small but plenty big enough for the low number of people using it. The whole building seemed quiet and mostly empty throughout the day to be honest. The sauna and steam room are also more compact than others I have used, but suitable for the size of the pool and pool area. the jacuzzi was large and very warm and relaxing!

My fiance and I both had a 30 minute back massage, with Holly and Rebecca. During mine, the therapist didn't ask how the pressure was or if there were any particular areas to work on as we progressed, which I found unusual compared to the vast number of massages I have had before. I did not feel very comfortable but it was a tolerable experience. I usually adore back massages. I then had a facial and my fiance enjoyed a Gentleman's Pedicure. Both of these treatements were superior to the massages. My facial was relaxing, the therapist was informative and friendly and my skin is STILL feeling refreshed and improved a week later! With the Wahanda package, we could get 10% off products and other treatments, but I was informed the facial I had been given was not included in this promotion, which I had not been made aware of beforehand. I did purchase a cleanser, however, and received the 10% discount. My fiance was also charged full price for his pedicure, despite me twice saying he was entitled to 10% off. I was not sure the therapists had heard me and wasn't certain, so kep quiet. However, we have since checked the price guide online and discovered we did not receive 10% for that treatment either.

We also took advantage of the free drink, enjoying it in the light bar area with our lunch. While the food (paid for separately) was delicious is was also quite costly. We spent £32 on one starter (toast with tapanade dip), two mains (salmon with new potatoes and a chicken pasta dish with creamy sance), one pudding (scones with jam and cream) and two soft drinks (a lemonade and a sparkling water). This experience was also slightly damaged by the club members who all seemed to be posh, middle-aged men with extremely loud voices that boomed into every corner of the restaurant and bar area. We could not hear ourselves talking to one another at one point and were sitting two feet from each other. The ladies behind the bar were just as friendly as the other staff members and very chatty and helpful.

Overall, we had a relaxing day and enjoyed feeling spoilt! I would say it was good value for money, bar the food, and that we would probably return. There are a few issues that need ironing out, as I have outlined in this review, but they are not sufficient to make us think badly of Breadsall Priory, its facilities or staff. One key attribute of Breadsall Priory is, in fact, the standard of its staff. We experienced pretty much non-stop excellent customer service!

It was a fantastic day ouy with two of my friends who loved it as much as I did. The staff were very friendly even walking round while we were on the loungers to offer us fresh/dry towels. I came away feeling extremly relaxed whichn is why I went. The value for money was exceptional as for £25.00 we had full use of the spa and two 25 min treatments. I would definatly go back again as the Norton Park Hotel was imprssive.

Lovely evening spent at Thoresby Hall. You can go in to the spa from 4 pm with the 'Twilight' deal but if we did this again we woud have turned up much earlier and had a walk around the lovely grounds. Also near to Clumeber Park which is a lovely area and nice NT cream tea.
Spa area a bit dated but the staff all lovely. Meal at Fennochios was amazing value and beautifully cooked. The restaurant was nice and cosy.
A great experience and brilliant value for money.

The facilities are quite good and clean but watch out if you take out membership. I took out what was sold to me as a flexible membership because I move around a lot and didn't want to be tied in. I paid a higher rate for this type of arrangement but when I left the club they said I owed them 2 months notice and refer me to the small print on the agreement that I signed. When I refused to pay as I was mis sold the product they threatened to pass the bill onto debt recovery. Given I was paying around £90 a month (which is a higher rate, specifically not to be tied in)I didn't expect to be treated like this.
As I took membership for myself and my partner this is a lot to pay for something we are no longer using. For this reason alone I would not recommend the club as it shows a dishonest attitude

I went to telford golf and spa with 2 friends for the day to celebrate a birthday and to have a day of pampering. We had a wonderful day. We hired the robe and slippers, got changed and were greeted by our therapists for our first treatment. We then spent time lounging in the relaxation room then headed to the pool and sauna. The pool room was warm with mood lights and loungers. The steam room and sauna were lovely and not busy at all. We had lunch in the restaurant still wearing our robes then had our second treatment. Both treatments were lovely, the therapists were on time and very professional and the whole place was just relaxing. If I had to pick a fault it would be with the robes, they were a bit old and shabby and very scratchy, so if I went again, which im sure i will, I would take my own.

Had a wonderful experience, very impressed with both the Gym facilities and spa facilities,
have recommended to a friend who also enjoys this type of experience, I'm sure he will be

The facilities are in a gym so the loud heart pumping music was not at all conducive to relaxation. The 'relaxation area' was only 4 chairs in the entrance to the male and female changing rooms so we felt on show every time someone walked past. There was no chance of getting any slippers and to get water you had to step into the gym area - in your bathers and towel. Not exactly what I had imagined for the day and all together a little disappointing. The masseuse was very nice and the facial and massage was satisfactory, but not out of this world.

The staff are very friendly, although a little unorganised. The massage was good, but you could hear everything going on outside the room, so a little bit hard to relax.

Very disappointing. After being given this as a gift I was appalled to find it nearly impossible to make a booking. Weekends are fully booked months in advance, the vouchers have short expiry and the staff are hopeless to deal with. When you call they often ask to call back, then don't, and never have times to offer.

Would NOT recommend.

Went to Beauty By Marie in mansfield for the first time last week for a head,neck,shoulder massage, i have tried a few other beauty salons locally and they were good but i just found beauty by marie in a different class. Marie the owner very professional and polite, the price i paid was cheaper than other places i have tried in the past, and overall i left feeling extremely pleased with the service, to the point where i am booked in every other thursday.

Overall Very friendly service, professional, and value for money would recommend to all in the mansfield area :-)

I went to the London Therapy 4 U at the Park Plaza Hotel in Victoria last night for a Hot Stone Massage at 7pm.

As soon as I was undressed and ready for the massage in the therapy room the therapist came in and asked me what treatment I was having. I thought this a little odd as I had booked the Hot Stone massage at least 2 weeks before and had received a confirmation email with all the details from the hotel on the Saturday before my treatment date.

I told the therapist I was there for the Hot Stone massage and she said oh no, someone should have called you to tell you the therapist doing that is off sick. She asked me if I would like to rebook but I said I've come all this way (I do not live near Victoria) and am already undressed! So she offered me a relaxing massage instead. However it was far from relaxing! The treatment room is right next to a very noisy gym. All I could hear was loud rock music from the gym, people constantly talking, moving weights etc. I asked the therapist if it is always this noisy and she said yes especially on a Monday night. So why on earth do they take bookings for relaxing massages at the noisiest time!! She then turned up the relaxing music in the treatment room to try and drown out the rock music etc. It was ridiculous! It was like having a massage on a building site! She asked me if I wanted a facial massage as part of the treatment but I couldn't because I still had full make-up on as I thought I was having the Hot Stone massage.

The therapist was lovely and did her best and offered me a free half hour massage but I said there was no point coming back as I did not want to go through the whole thing again.

It was meant to be a treat but I was thoroughly disappointed and cannot believe it is meant to be a 4 star hotel. I will be writing to them direct to complain. Obviously I will tell everyone I know to avoid this offer and hotel.

We arrived on the day to find they were having maintenance in so swapped over the male and female changing rooms much to mu annoyance as the womens change had straightners which are essential for my short hair. Theres no proper changing room its all communal which i didnt find to nice. Pool nice size, bubble pool could have been slightly warmer the two warming loungers once warm one cold. Treatments were very nice therapists were very good.Food options very limited which is a shame. I would look at using a different spa next time.I have visited this particular one before but found it has slipped down in standards as well as charging £5 for robe and slippers which last year were free!

The treatment was good. The customer service was very pleasant too. I had a great experience and would definitely revisit again, and recommend it to friends and colleagues. Excellent prices too.

I have an ongoing back problem so have been here for massage and acupuncture.
I've seen two of the massage therapists who were both excellent - the only problem I had was the first masseuse? I saw only works here once a month so I saw someone else as i felt I wanted a more regular treatment. However she was also really good.
I also saw Sarah Pritchard for acupuncture. Really good, not that keen on needles but she also did moxa and some massage - quite different from my last acupuncturist who just put needles in and left you. She seemed to be working the whole hour.
I didn't give 5 stars for everything because whilst I thought the people I saw were really excellent and I love the big rooms they have there, the toilets were bloody freezing in December but I suppose that's quite a small point overall really. Nice friendly place I would say.

The Beauty Temple is absolutely beautiful inside. Spotlessly clean and very relaxing and luxurious, it is the perfect place for a spot of pampering. I had the new bamboo back massage which was very relaxing but also gave a very deep muscle massage where I needed it most around my neck and shoulders. The therapist was extremely friendly and professional and I have already booked to go back again with my daughter for a spot of pampering on sunday. Highly recommended for any treatment as you won't be disappointed.

It wasn't what was on the offer which was body brushing and detox but the massage was amazing -- very firm! the peel was good and left my skin bright. salon was lovely but you were in/out quickly. overall lovely.

Very booked up so had to book 3 months in advance. Spa very tiny and only one toilet and waiting area also small. My friend and I were massaged on literally adjoining tables and the 2 girls were sweet but not real masseurs. Tea started well with a good bellini but went downhill as the tea was lukewarm and the cakes sickly. Will not go there again

Tankersley Manor is a very stylish hotel in a great situation. Although the gym was small it had adequate machines. The pool was large enough with ample beds to relax on. Enjoyed the Sauna and steam room but the icing on the cake were the treatments--heated beds and very experienced masseurs.Would recommend their spa day without reservation. Will be booking again soon!

I went yesterday (March 2012), I was told by the Salon itself, 2 hours of pampering, wrap you in mud, pedicure and massage. I had very thin mud on my arms and legs, a pedicure with no massage or scrub, (just file), a shower that burnt me, a massage which was nice but with the wet towel I dried myself with, all in an amazing 50mins!! The therapists said she did but mud on my back, I know she didn't, it really was not worth complaining about. I want a Salon I can happily go to very quarter to pamper and this place it not worthy!! I had to walk half way home since my husband thought he had 2 hours to do the grocery shop and so we both had been cut short.

The hotel was very nice, but the pool was too small. Treatments were relaxing but overall a very good deal. The staff were friendly and accommodating as I also had my dog with me. Location was a bit further from town than expected, but was fine with a car.

The treatment rooms were in the basement, and unfortunately were a bit cold, so I didn't relax fully during my massage. However the therapist was really good and made sure the pressure etc was right for me. They just need to heat the room a bit more!

Had the full body massage which was fantastic. It was very relaxing and probably the best massage I have had. All the staff were friendly and I was put at ease straight away. The therapist, Laura was excellent and was a top quality massage. I would definitely recommend it and I will certainly be going back again.

crewe hall itself is stunning and tucked around the back is the spa which is lovely and modern, peaceful and clean, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, made my girlfriend and i very happy, the treatments were spot on and would definitely use the place again. the sauna and steam room were nice and the pool was also good.

I visited the Ivo Venturi spa recently and was completely surprised at how unfinished the salon/spa seemed. I was shocked to find out they had been in business in Knightsbridge for 10 years as the spa looked like it had just been put up. I guess when you expect you are going to a salon/spa (especially in Knightsbridge) you feel like you will experience some luxury and relaxation. However, this place offers none of that. The decor is hideous and dated. Everything looks like it is from Ikea, in fact the glass of water i received still had the ikea sticker on the bottom. I could go on with all of the faults I saw, however I will acknowledge that my massage was excellent. Although, when I purchased it said it was an hour long but once I was in the room with the masseuse I was informed that it was only a 45 minute massage... a bit of false advertising if you ask me!
I would never go back and I would NEVER pay full price for this salon/spa as it is not up to my standards.

I arrived at the venue 10 minutes early for my treatment, and I received a warm welcome. Sadly things went downhill from there.

I was shown to the treatment room 15 minutes after the appointed time and was told by the therapist that as the consultation and undressing time takes 15 minutes, I could expect the treatment to end at the normal end time, i.e I was only to get 45 minutes of treatment. In the event, I only received about 40 minutes of treatment, during which the time the therapist complained that she had only had 15 minutes of her 30 minute break. The treatment was superficial and perfunctory and although it was a voucher deal, I cannot say it was value for money.

When I complained to the front desk, I was advised that men always get shorter treatments, as there is less of their bodies to massage. I have never experienced this anywhere else.

It was a very unsatisfactory experience and I told them that I would not be able to recommend them.

Save your money and go somewhere else. Worst massage I have ever had.
The therapist didn't ask me anything- no 'are you comfortable', 'is the pressure ok', 'are you warm enough' etc etc. She coughed and sniffed the whole way through it. Pressure was non-existent. When I asked for it to be a bit harder nothing changed. Room was freezing, when I mentioned this I was just told 'oh the heating's on'.
There's we cracks in the floor and shoddy dividers between treatment rooms so you can hear everything next door.
Do not go here. Only plus is the prices but I felt cheated paying £27 for the 30min massage I had. I nearly asked her to just stop and I would leave there and then but felt rude.

We arrived on Saturday 3rd March, were greeted well but when we went to our room we had twin beds but had asked for a double as we were celebrating our anniversary so were really disappointed plus they only give you 1 packet of biscuits to share between two people for a whole day which I thought was stingy. The staff were very helpful. The dining room was freezing and asked if the air con could be turned down but they said no, other people were complaining how cold it was in the lounge and dining room. there are two menu's to choose from 1 £22 and the ofther off the a la carte menu which was individually priced so you could have up to the value of £22 if you were on a special deal staying at the hotel which they do not tell you in the itinary, we chose food from the a la carte I had the lamb which was fatty, and very tough they did offer to replace it was as I had finished my vegetables I said no so they gave us a free glass of wine each, I did not think the standard of food was up to my expectations. The room was very comfortable but the television had a bad picture and did not have access to more than the 5 basic channels not even free view!!! I personally would not stay at this hotel again as I do not think it is up to the 4* it has been rated as we had a better deal at the Barcelo chain.

I have never felt so great and pampered in my life. The staff was super respectful. During the 3 hours we spent at the spa, the presence of the staff was perfectly minimal, giving us the peace and privacy we were looking for.

We arrived at the hotel about 10:30 and was pleasantly surprised that our room was ready for us. We were put into a room that had 3 single beds, which seemed a little strange but it was fine for us two ladies. We did find it a bit odd that there are 2 dressing type tables, side cabinets and an open wardrobe with shelving, but no drawers to put underwear etc. I know we could have left it in the shelving, but we prefer to put our clothes away and out of sight. It didn't deter from the room, which was very clean, tidy and spacious. The bathroom was also well equipped with toiletries.

We used the 2 sections of the gym first and then went and had a lovely lunch. After this we decided to go swimming and use facilities including the steam room, sauna and jacuzzi and to have some chilling out time before our spa treatments. We were booked in at 4pm, which we originally thought was a bit late as we had booked a half day spa day as well as an overnight, but it actually worked out so much better as we had all our spa treatments in one go. We were in a joint room and it was lovely not to have to leave and go and sit outside before our next treatment and we spent quite a long time just being totally pampered, so much so, that I even nodded off it was so relaxing. The therapists were very good, really professional. We both thoroughly enjoyed the treatments and will be definitely booking again.

My only criticism around the pool is that there are not many loungers to use and it means having to sit on leather settees when you want to relax after a swim or sauna etc.

Our overnight package included dinner and breakfast. As the hotel wasn't very busy we didn't have to book our table for dinner and the menu that was included in the price was really very good. The food was excellent and so much of it. After dinner we sat at the bar for a little while but we were the only 2 people in there as it was very quiet.

Breakfast was also very good. The food was cooked to order and again lots of it.

We went for a walk after breakfast but unfortunately you can't go very far as its near to a main road one side and lots of woods the other side. In the summer it will be lovely as there are quite a number of outside activities on offer.

We both would highly recomment this hotel, especially for the spa treatments, which were divine. We'll be checking regularly for any more future offers. Thank you.

I booked 3 treatments for my boyfriends Mother, his sister and myself in August 2011 via a Groupon deal. It has been a farce since then. The earliest I could have us all booked in was 08/03/2012. Even then we would have to be seen hours apart. I did not deal with the spa directly but was required to call an 0845 number to speak to anyone in relation to the booking. Finally on the day of the treatments I was contacted to say that ALL 3 appointments had been cancelled due to 1 staff member being off sick. There was no effort to accomodate any of the appointments on that day and I was told the earliest I could expect to be rebooked was sometime in April. It was quite obvious that they were cancelling the customers who had been booked via Groupon. This level of service is shocking and very disappointing in an industry which aims to promote relaxation and well being. I would not advise anyone to book treatments here if the outcome you are seeking is feel taken care of and spoiled. Shame on them.

I would not waste time and money visting this venue.

My massage was meant to be an hour and was cut to half an hour, even though I paid the full price for 1 hour.

We were meant to be 'treated' to a glass of Champagne - but we were not even offered that - just a glass of tap water!

Really awful - would not go there again!!!

The whoe spa experience was lovely. The staff were helpful and friendly and the facilities were clean and well looked after. I didn't really like the fact that you have to go into the hotel bar dressed in your gown for lunch! My husband and I were the only ones in our gowns and felt quite conscious of the fact as most of the people looked like they were having business lunches! That said, the food was ecxcellent and after half an hour or so another 3 ladies came into the bar in their gowns and we all laughed at us being 'undressed' like that in the bar! It would have been nicer to have the lunch on the spa lounge in my opinion. It busy on the Friday we chose, but not extremely busy. However, there didn't appear to be enough lockers in the changing rooms or loungers around the pool for the number of people in attendance.

My spa day was a lovely experience and I will be going again in a few weeks with my mum, but we will arrive a little earlier to enable us to get a lounger next to each other and a locker each!.

I have never had a massage before so I just thought I would try it, as the package on offer was for a neck, shoulder, back and face massage. When I arrived I was greeted by Sam, who is one of the beauticians. I was offered refreshments straight away. Katie, the owner and senior masseur greeted me next and led me to the therapy room.

This was the best hour I have spent in yrs, the session was everything I wanted it to be and more. I felt totally relaxed and comfortable. We chatted through the session because I wanted to find out what other services Katie offered and I was amazed at the range on offer.

I have already booked my next session and I will definately be telling my family & friends all about it and urging them to have a try. Brillaint

For the short period of time we were there, me and my partner had a lovely stay. We would definitely love to go again. The food was very delightful. Great value for money!!

This was a great day out, the staff were very friendly. Pool, spa, loungers etc all very relaxing. Nice cream tea for two- reasonably priced -to finish off the day. Will be doing this again.

We didn't even use the pool as there was nowhere for us to relax in our robes as the 4 loungers that were there were occupied.

The treatments that i had (back neck and shoulder and scalp massage) were mediocre at best.

The massage was very weak, it was 20 minutes of the same moves over and over again, so i didn't feel relaxed, just bored! The scalp massage was also the same.

A very disappointing purchase that i would not recommend to my friends!

We didn't even use the pool as there was nowhere for us to relax in our robes as the 4 loungers that were there were occupied.

The treatments that i had (facial and massage) were mediocre at best. Firstly the couch was wet when i came to get on it, when i asked the therapist to change the towels completely this was met with reluctance.

The massage was very weak, it was 20 minutes of the same moves over and over again, so i didn't feel relaxed, just bored! The facial was also the same, i got the impression that my therapist was either new to the facility or newly qualified, her technique was very basic and her pressure far too light (which i did ask for firm) i left the treatment room with the face mask still on my face and feeling very annoyed that i had only received maybe 40 minutes worth of treatment (it should have been an hour)

The prices and facilities for lunch were also poor, I paid £9.95 for a greek salad that was shocking and as a result i obtained a refund for this.

A very disappointing purchase that i would not recommend to my friends!

Was given a Groupon voucher for treatments at Christmas and was unable to book due to NO answer phone and/or no one picking up the phone. Website address on the voucher was incorrect and not working and just led to a dead page. Had to go to Facebook to find any additional info. When I finally did get some response via email date of voucher had expired along with my patience and desire to redeem it.

Poor customer service equates directly to poor service everywhere else. Save your money and keep your loyalty to places that actually care about their clients and potential clients.

I have reported this back to Groupon as well as the friend who gave me the voucher. Will also be telling everyone I know to avoid this rip off merchant!

Brilliant day - the gym was great, swimming pool lovely - could have been a few more loungers but not a big deal. The massage and facial were perfect; felt like a new woman when I got out of there. Lunch was delicious, a great experience - would definitely do it again soon.

My daughter and i had a really lovely, relaxing day at this venue. Unfortunately we arrived later than planned but the staff were very understanding. We both had 2 treatments of 30 minutes for each treatment. We both agreed that the therapists were very professional, knowledgeable and gave us fabulous treatments. The pool/sauna/steam room area was clean and well maintained but, to be really picky, we would have liked the use of a jacuzzi. Our lunch was not included in our offer but we were more than welcome to use the bar/lounge where we had a simple sandwich lunch which was 'ok'. We used the gym which was also clean, well maintained and well equipped. Our day was great value for money and we really didn't want to leave at the end of the day. Thank you :)

A wonderful experience and an amazing place.

However it was difficult to enter the building. There are no visuable signs, no reception area or any visable staff to inform of our arrival.
I was uncomfortable with unisex changing areas and work men wondering through the changing area. Despite these negatives I would consider returning should another voucher deal be offered.

The venue is quite mercenary - this isn't the place to go for luxury - it's tacked onto the side of a gym. Although this is disappointing, the therapist was great and the massage was lovely. If you're local and it's convenient then I would recommend it, but it's not a destination spa for a treat.

I booked in a massage for the Vanessa Blake clinic after buying a voucher from Groupon. Then I went online to find out exactly where it was and stumbled across some of these reviews which totally freaked me out! I did, however, go along and was mostly relieved...

In contrast to some other people's experiences, the therapy room was warm, clean and the staff were perfectly pleasant, the massage was fine/good etc.

The only problem I have with this clinic is the noise. The room that I had my massage in was directly behind the reception. And I could hear every word the receptionists/therapists said while they chatted at reception. Including music from their radio. In addition, the room I was in separated from the other therapy room by a thin divide, and a shared window. As such, I could also hear in perfect detail the conversation the other client was having with her therapist during her treatment!

Although the noise wasn't constant, it was extremely distracting - this is not the sort of clinic where you can doze off!

So, for a £20 hour's long massage with voucher, it's pretty good value for money. But I would certainly not recommend anyone paying full price...

Easy to book , and easy to find but overall experience was a bit disapointing.
Arrived on time, was asked to take a seat in the waiting area. However waited for half an hour, could hear a bit of a dispute between the therapists about ust who I was booked in with.
During my wait, wasn't offered a drink and no one offered an explanation about what was going on.
Finally was shown to a room, small but warm however was right next to reception so I was conscious of outside noise.
The massage was ok, but the therapist didn't ask for example if the pressure used was ok, and wasn't offered a drink after treatment.
Wouldn't go back , and I'm glad I didn't pay full price

I was disappointed on arrival as the spa is very small and in need of updating but the staff are very friendly and the therapist and treatments also very good. I had a mini facial and back neck and shoulder massage which I though on balance were very good value for money as my therapist was professional and lovely.
The steam room was a good temperature and the pool though small was ok and the showers are powerful.
It was half term when we went and the facilities were open to members and children but it never seemed crowded although it is quite small and everyone was very friendly.
I had a very relaxing time and felt very welcome at the venue.

Very Clean Spa, lovely staff, great food, overall relaxing and peaceful. As the spa is quite small compared to others if your sharing your day with a hen party can be a bit noisey. would recommend the outdoor Jacuzzi!!

I visited this spa one Saturday afternoon. We found it a bit tricky to find as the Sat Nav took us somewhere else. When I phoned the spa to ask for directions, they were very helpful.
When we arrived we completed our forms and then were shown round the spa. We had our treatment which was amazing. I booked the 2 for £95 holistic therapy treatment. It was definitely worth the money, the all body massage left me feeling very relaxed. After the massage we were offered tea and dried fruits. As we were late we use the facilities after our treatment. If you can, arrive before your treatment, so you don't have to wash off all the lovely oils applied during the massage.

I would thoroughly recommend this place and I'll definitely be going back.

The full body massage and eye collagen mask was fantastic. Jane the therapist applied just the right amount of pressure and loosened off the tight areas in my arms, shoulder and back., and applied the heat lamp where necessary. She was friendly, well presented and very professional. The collagen eye pads worked too! I would definatley recommend this venue. I would definately return for future treatments. Very good value for money.

DON’T BOTHER WITH THIS PLACE - I received a voucher to use at this spa for my birthday in August 2011 and was really looking forward to using it. I’ve contacted the spa 7 or 8 times in the past five months to make a booking – most times I’ve waited a least a week for a response and then been told they are too busy to take a booking and advised to contact them again in 5 weeks. A few times I’ve been ignored completely. I rang to complain and was offered no apologies at all – just informed, very cheerfully, how best to get my refund. Terrible, terrible service. Very disappointed. If you’re thinking of booking, I really wouldn’t waste your time. I’ve now had to tell my friend I don’t want their present anymore and advised them to seek a refund.

I have twice been to see Gwen and would have no hesitation in recommending her or going back for further treatments. The surroundings are very pleasant and all staff friendly and helpful. Very stressed, on a cold December day the week before Christmas, I was so looking forward to a relaxing session with Gwen in a cosy and calm environment and I was not disappointed. My only complaint was that the time passed too quickly ! Gwen is quick to pick up when you want to chat and when not - for me that is important. She chatted carefully with me initially and took account of small aches and pains. I enjoyed the massage and felt comfortable throughout. I will be returning !

The premises are near Shepherd's Bush tube in a house with an entrance you could easily miss. But step inside and you feel miles away from the street noises, in a relaxing atmosphere with very friendly staff. My therapist (I think she was Australian) paid attention to all my troubled arreas and left me relaxed and with a sprint in my foot. Surely I would return if they were to have some great deals.

really enjoyed my time at the spa - used the gym before entering the pool area. Had to wait a while for therapist as only one was working, therefore we were left on our own for periods of time whilst we took it in turns for treatments.

Unfortunately my friend didnt expereince the same quality. She had a manicure and because the therapist was running late the varnish didn't have time to dry, therefore came off during her shower. She wasn't a happy bunny........ Would recommend for a girly relaxing day out to catch up whilst being pampered at same time......

chilled relaxing atmosphere not just in the spa but the whole hotel, excellent staf who very nice and friendly, great facilities and treatments wih good food and for a really brilliant price. I was given a voucher for a massage with Destiny Nails & Beauty. I had some serious communication problems to arrange the appointment to start with. On the day of the appointment I was late due to transport failure, and although I tried to call the number in the voucher it went straight to voicemail. On arrival, there was a woman filing her nails sitting on a sofa that said they never received my call, and she had no idea whose number it was in the voucher, and that anyway there was no record of my appointment in the first place and the therapist was not available. I looked around and the place seemed really cramped and not particularly clean, so I just left. Not a professional outfit at all.

I just moved to London from New York, so I thought I would give this place a try since there was a deal on massage--much needed. My friend and I went and had to wait a really long time past our appointment. We got champagne in the meantime, but my friend's glass still had lipstick on it from someone else! Made me wonder what else is dirty there...Well, the massage was nice, but the trip into the bathroom was so gross! There were no napkins to dry your hands and only this dirty towel lying there. I'd steer clear of this place for other procedures. I hear there are some other really good places to try in Canary Wharf.

Premises are very small but don't be fooled. After a very friendly welcome being offered refreshments and completing questionnaire, we were taken to the treatment room downstairs. Our therapists were very competent and thorough taking care to ensure that pressure was correct. My husband and I both had different treatments but were equally satisfied with the results. With knots all loosened and muscles relaxed we left feeling completely rejuvenated. Would go again and highly recommend Chutima.

The venue is small but very clean and tidy (although the changing/shower room could do with more regular maintenance). The best thing about this place is the staff. So friendly an helpful, always greet you with a smile, conversation and masses of advice. The massage treatment is very new and you do get the feeling that the venue is only just getting to grips with how to use it. However, it's great for relieving tension. I suspect more regular usage would increase results claimed.

There was no option for endermologie, which is the treatment I got done with Cynthia. This salon is very centrally located, and has a nice, relaxing ambience. I've gotten 6 session of endermologie done, and have already noticed results. Also, if you hurry there, you can find a deal for 6 sessions of endermologie for 220, although sometimes they do have vouchers online. My therapist has never been late and she is very friendly. She makes you feel comfortable and is professional. I think your experience at Natures du Monde really depends on your therapist. If you're going for endermologie ask for Cynthia!

The staff were knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. The environment was clean and professional. I would return for another appointment. The after-care advice leaflet was helpful. The therapist does a good job of making the room calm, relaxing and sweet smelling. Wonderful relaxing music, the smell of the candles, I felt very relaxed after the treatment. There will certainly come back, and without fear I recommend the salon a friend. I also want to use the services of cutting hair, because I saw very happy with the service client, competitive prices.

I have visited several Spas up and down the contry, and would never go backnow I have found Bea. The massage was sublime, and the attention to detail in my facial was fabulous - my skin had never looked better than when I left this salon. I cannot wait to return!

I have been going to liwia for several years now for massages to help with stress headaches and every time the experience is wonderful and best of all the headaches are a whole lot better to deal with. I now have a no hands full body massage and occasionally a hopi ear candle treatment and would recommend these to everyone. The venue and ambience are perfect. Both liwia and claudia are excellent at their treaments.

The Indonesian massage was a revelation. A Deep massage using spiced oils.
My Therapist used body weight to work at a deeper level. I was given a choice of lulur or boreh application as it was a different style of massage; dry movements then a spiced oil to apply deep strokes.
I will be returning to Ann again in the future and would reccomend giving Guru Holistics a try.

I absolutely adore everything about this gym and treatment spa. Stripes staff are exceptional therapists and instructors and are very knowledgable. There's a lot to be said for feeling safe in their hands. If you are local, you must pay them a visit !

I had a facial plus neck and back massage. The facial was lovely and used REN products. The massage was also good. All in all, very relaxing and the perfect end to a busy day. The therapist was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend the venue.

I decided to be generous and gave my voucher to my mum. I went along with her. The atmosphere was spot on looked very modern. I was impressed. My mum enjoyed the fish pedicure however the massage was just ok. The therapist spent too much time on my mothers left shoulder, leaving very little time on the other side. If maybe the room was a little bigger then maybe it may have been a better experience.
I would recommend this place to anyone who wanted to get a fish pedicure. Price is a little expensive so I'm going to look out for more deals and this time I'm going to use it myself.

I paid for, as stated on my Groupon voucher : "One Hour Swedish Aromatherapy Massage Plus 30 Minute Facial Tailored to Skin Type" from New Way Spa, Hoe Street 79 E17 4QR.

15 mins into my massage the massuese started doing my facial, I reminded her that it was 60 min massage and 30 min facial. She laughed and said no "the facial is included with the 60 minute massage time". She argued with me and insisted that was the deal. I didn't push it because I already felt 'on edge' because the place was filthy and there were people arguing loudly outside the door to the room we were in. At that point I did not want to be there an extra 30 mins and wanted to leave there and then.

The oils used smelt like they had gone off and the massage was far from relaxing. During the facial someone shouted something in Polish outside the door to my massuese, who then shouted loudly back. My massuese then explained she was booked to see another client, she left midway through applying a facial scrub to my face. Later, another massuese (Monica) came in and finished my facial.

The facial certainly wasn't "Tailored to Skin Type" as stated. I wasn't even asked anything about my skin. Also I was not asked anything about my body or previous injuries. The first massuese was really rough and didn't understand English when I tried to say it was hurting. Monica was marginally better but I certainly didn't get the impression that these people were trained in massage.

After the massage my neck hurt because they do not have proper massage beds with the hole to put your face into.

I had bits of grit from the facial scrub in my mouth, up my nose and in my eyes. I felt like I had been bathed in lard over my body which took two showers to remove.

AVOID IF AT ALL POSSIBLE - it really is a horrid place.

Read previous reviews and was a little worried about coming here for a Spa day with my friend, Mum & sister. We knew from the other reviews that there weren't any refreshment facilities so we were quite happy to get lunch at the Starbucks across the road. When I emailed the club about times of classes, I received a very nice welcome reply which was reassuring. And when we turned up on the day, the staff were friendly & helpful. The facilities were better than I expected with a good sized pool, 2 jacuzzis, steam room & sauna. The gym overlooks the pool and there is a stained glass ceiling over the pool, which I thought added to the Victorian feel of the building. The treatments were great - we had a neck, shoulder & back massage as well as a scalp massage - i felt really good afterwards. There were 2 things that weren't so great e.g. No private changing cubicles for those of us that don't do communal changing rooms and having to hire towels, robes & slippers - have been to the Marriott & they don't charge for these things. But overall we had a really good time & would go back again.

I have been to this salon quite a number of times for a bit of 'me' time after having my second child.

I feel I was well looked after and given fantastic treatments to help with how I was feeling at the time ' tired, stressed and fed up - each treatment went to help me feel a bit better about myself.

I only wish i could get there more often as I think we should all take time out of our stressful lives and give ourselves a well earned treat from time to time without feeling guilty.

Ann the owner really does give value for money and sends out email special offers which help with the budget.

This was a very nice, relaxing massage. The cupping felt a little strange when the cups were slapped onto my back, but not unpleasant. The treatment room doesn't have the most luxurious ambience, but once you're enjoying the treatment you don't really notice. Recommended.

Sarah was my therapist and she was really friendly, welcoming, professional and polite. She explained all of the treatments and made me feel really relaxed. The knowledge and experience of the staff coupled with quality products and lovley venue made this one of the best pamper sessions I have ever had. Thank You so much! Wow! what can i say apart from fantastic!, having visited a few other beauty treatment salons in the same area as technailee i was made very welcome here as opposed to others i have been to , and being a male i was made at ease by sarah and her assistants i had a great full body massage, eyebrow waxing and tinting, a back wax and some ear candling done, i must say i felt like i was walking on air when i left the shop! i have already booked in on a monthly basis with sarah and the crew i can recommend this salon to everyone already some of my mates are going for massages and waxing treatments, and you can also pick up a great fresh coffee on your way out too! the four treatment rooms are very tastefully decorated and warm and the ambience is one of calm and relaxation, sarah is very well to get on with and so are the assistants, all in all ten out of ten! thanks sarah

The massage and facial were excellent. The place was nice but not as luxurious as we were expecting and there was a very small waiting area.. Very good value though so this made up for it.

New Way Spa would be by far the best, cleanest, most enjoyable spa if it weren't for the attitude of the managers. The space is beautiful, the treatments are great, the staff is so attentive. But, when I mentioned to the management that my 60 minute service only lasted for 50 minutes, the manager basically rolled her eyes and very reluctantly agreed to give me a 10% discount. For the kind of money you shell out, the manager should have been apologetic for their mistake rather than lookingat me like she just sucked on a sour lemon.

Amazing setting, amazing accommodation, really comfortable bed and spacious room. Underfloor heating in the bathroom, "his and hers" vanity units, and a lot of other really nice finishing touches. We had dinner at the Brasserie and had some lovely food. Overall we were very well looked after by the staff at Luton Hoo. For my treatment I chose the "5 Senses Body Signature Treatment", which was 1 hour and 20 minutes of bliss. My therapist gave me a very good 'invigorating' massage - my choice, you can have relaxation too if you prefer. Then we spent some time using the spa facilities, which are in very nice surroundings. Everything at Luton Hoo is ispiring, and the spa is no different.

I loved this resort! It is clean, peaceful, fresh and has everything you need to relax. I stayed over with a group and the rooms are perfect. The restuarant has absolutely fantastic cuisine, dinner was amazing, lunch was spectacular and breakfast was fantastic. The whole place is new and I recommend it to anyone. The staff are amazing, the smoothies are excellent they have really thought about everything. I used the gym which was fab, with really friendly intructors and also had a wonderful 50 minute massage with a delightful therapist. There are lots of activities that you can participate in such as yoga classes, walks round the grounds etc. You will thoroughly relax at this place. I cannot wait to go back to this place, the deals Wahanda offer are well worth it.

Set in the heart of Soho, the salon is easy to find. Upstairs is a hair salon and downstairs are the treatment rooms. I didn't have to wait beyond my appointment time and everyone was very friendly. One thing that I found a little odd was that the customer toilet was next door - they gave me a key to get in, I had to go back outside and up the stairs of next door. It was a very nice little bathroom, but I think if it had been raining I would have been miffed at having to go outside again.

The massage therapist was very attentive, she asked me if I had any areas I'd like to work on more than others etc and she adjusted the times for each area accordingly. The music was relaxing and even though the treatment room was in the basement at the front of the building, you couldn't hear any street noise, so I could close my eyes and almost drop off. 1 hour felt like a lot longer, so I really felt very relaxed at the end. I had quite a lot of knots but she worked them hard and did a really good job of getting them loosened up - I guess I just need more massages!

I'd definitely return to this salon for a massage, and on the Wahanda deal it was such great value.

Fabulous a group of friends and I had a fabulous Saturday afternoon in this salon pampered and spoilt totally by the two lovely ladies,,,, the younger girl danielle was wonderful slightly nervous perhaps but very good at what she was doing,,,,,, the other lady was excellent really put us at ease and even kept the shop open longer to fit in with our needs all treatments where Fab the beauty rooms where stylish and warm and we used all four really recommend especially the massage I know I'll be booking in for another,,,,,,,, and as an extra bonus we even had lunch and coffee served in the coffee shop at the front,,,,,,, I was a little nervous about that at the beginning but I couldn't believe how it works , relaxed atmosphere all round loved it!

i am a regular at this salon and i have treatments by the owner herself sarah is never rude and tries to make everyone happy i think its disgusting that lies are allowed on this site i have been a client there for a long time and a lot of my friends are too no 14 year old girl even works in the salon the beauty therapists are all qualified and over the age of 18...................

my advice is to go to meet the staff yourself and ignore the lies

I loved that she had candles burning, she had some wonderful scents going, and I found the whole experience calming and settling..
I came in for a Swedish massage, and was surprised when Ann recommended Cupping for my stiff shoulders. I had never had this before, and was intrigued. She explained that the cups would perform more work in the time available than she could - and it meant she could spend more time on the rest of me.
At the end, my shoulders were 'mine' again (no clicking and stiffness), and I had been to sleep for a while... despite the pressure of the massage! (I always ask for firm)

Really nice welcome, felt at ease. Massage was, although painful at times (tension points) very enjoyable and relaxing. Would definately return and recommend to friends & family. Was invited to have a go on vibro plates which was an expereince in itself.

please do not bother after deciding not to judge after 2 previous clients had shared there negative experience i decided to go with an open mind. my appointment was at 2pm i was kept waiting with no explanation for 45 mins at which point i was told the beautician wouldnt be long she was running a little late. after an hour i had to leave for a prior engagement the manager called me to the treatment room to apologise and try to re book after seeing the state of the room i decided against this.the staff are scruffy the place is dirty ,i didnt get to have my massage but i cant help but feel this was a lucky escape,needless to say i will not be going back!!

Upon arriving for my 5pm appointment I was told there was a staff shortage and I would have to wait at least 50 minutes to start my Swedish massage and body wrap. The receptionist who was quite rude about the whole thing said she tried to call me at 4pm which was a lie as my mobile had no missed calls and at 4.15pm I got on the underground which means she called me later than said and 45minutes notice to reschedule or cancel is unacceptable when I left my house just after 3.30pm to get there on time. For the inconvenience I was told I could have a free manicure which in all honesty I didnt want as i knew this would delay me further. At 5.40pm one of the therapists called me and I assumed for my massage but NO! It was to start my manicure. I explained she would need to be quick or wait until after my massage as my 'late' time would be startign shortly, BUT SHE INSISTED. At 6pm she was called by another worker (which happened regularly) and left the room for 15 MINUTES. When she did return there was no apology or explanation just carried on painting my nails. At 6.30pm she finally finished my nails and at that point I was quite upset I had still not been called for my massage (I saw a man who arrived after me walk past the manicure door and am sure they crept him in whilst they distracted me with the manicure). I was told they were prepping the room and 25 minutes later I was called at 6.55pm 1 HOUR AND 55 MINUTES after my original appointment. I was not introduced to my masseuse other than hi I'm Monica, strip down to these (she showed me her underwear as a demonstration) and hop on bed. At that poitn she left me for 5minutes to change and when she returned she explained that I would not be receiving my 1 hour swedish massage and 30 minute body scrub as purchased on Groupon but a 1 hour massage including the scrub which is not what I paid for. Monica started the massage and withing 5 minutes another person called through the door and they had a conversation in their native tongue and then silence... The door closed and my massage continued but it was not Monica massaging me but one of the other therapists. I'm not sure whether they thought I was stupid enough to not realise someone else had continued, or by reading others reviews this is standard procedure. I would not have minded had she introduced herself or had explained Monica needed to go but I was specifically told there was one masseuse on site due to the other not showing for work so I was fully aware this woman was not qualified to deliver the service. I constantly asked her to apply more pressure as I was basically being moisturised and the scrub wasn't much better although it did add some pressure but again I was not given a choice between the mango or cucumber scrubs as listed on Groupon and genuinely felt disgusted at the whole experience. I wa snot given any towel or disposable underwear and was not wiped down after but told to shower(with a faulty plug that would not drain) and that was it. I really wish I had researched the spa beforehand and read reviews but this will be an experience I shall learn from. I'm disgusted that I spent £29 for services I did not receive and in all honesty the best part of the visit was the free manicure. Total waste of my time and money. I left at 8pm, 3 hours after I had arrived with more stress and tension then when I arrived. Shoddy establishment! WOULD TELL ANYONE CONSIDERING GOING THERE TO CANCEL AND ASK FOR A REFUND IMMEDIATELY.

When I arrived I was very cold so I asked for a cup of coffee and that was no problem. Suela gave me a lovely massage and Dermalogica facial. My skin looks clear and fresh now. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent treatment today which I thoroughly enjoyed. Sarah was a superb masseeuse and made me feel so relaxed. She explained exactly what she was going to do and was very easy to chat with, really friendly. The treatments I had were: body wrap, back and shoulder massage, microdermabrasion, eyebrow threading, eyebrow and eyelash tint and collagen for the eyes. I feel 10 years younger and am looking forward to treating myself again here in the future. I can happily recommend the salon and the treatments.

I had a full body massage and over all it was a good experience. The therapist was very friendly and did her job well. The facilities were clean but the place is a bit difficult to find although the location is very convenient as it is in the middle of the city.

A friend of mine invited me to go with her to a new spa she had heard about. Which was just down the road. I am so pleased I went, as at first suggested it would be rubbish, as I had heard about a spa which had opened but then immediately closed. It turns out to be the same building but run by an extremely professional setup, as previously someone had used the address to commit some kind of fraud, which did effect their business.

So glad I went as it is tucked away, like a hidden treasure. Don't believe the rumours just visit the site and facebook page, you will see how smart the venue is, whilst the treatments are fantastic

I treated my staff to a day at a Spa. I had never been before and neither had my staff, so a little tongue in cheek, we went along for two reasons, one price and the second locality.

I can honestly say, that the venue looked brand new and the staff were of the highest standards, well done to all. Just one more thing. Being a member also saved me pounds

I visited the Spa within a group for a birthday treat, we were all treated extremely well, and the experience was further enhanced with an over night stay, in a rather luxurious apartment.

Great massage and really good value for money. The therapist was really good and the staff were nice and welcoming (which isn't often in Soho). The venue itself is quite small, so it's difficult to have a real ambiance - but I think because the staff/therapist were so friendly, it really improved the overall experience. Would recommend.

I had the swedish massage which was nice and relaxing. The therapist consulted me before the treatment to ask if I had any areas I wished to focus on and tailored the treatment to my preferences

When I arrived I had stirred some confusion by phoning first to cancel it...but later on I could make it anyway. When I got there it was easy to find and plenty of place to park in front of the nail salon.

But the picture they have on the website of Wahanda is not the same one what the actual thereapy room is like... a but more plain and simple really just a room in a nail salon.

Very friendly helpfull staff. There was some confusion about my appointment time as mine was 17.30 in my diary but they had 5 o clock in their books. So I would miss out on a part of my treatment the bodywrap...but Sarah who treated me was really friendly and did give me the bodywrap experience with the coconut smell cream on my legs and arm... with an extra massage! Was very nice.

Microdermabrasion experience different at first but quite enjoyed the sandingpaper exfoliation feeling!

Back neck shoulder massage was lovely and relaxing.
