Today was my first day in Hypoxi London.My partner and myself went for a swedish massage and guess what.....IT WAS THE BEST MASSAGE I EVER HAD !!! I feel more relaxed and rejuvunated and its worth every penny. The therapist Gabriella was wonderful and rest of the staffs were friendly and pleasant.I would definetly recommend this place.

This massage was not what I expected. I have had several swedish massages prior to this one, and found this massage with this therapist t be very disappointing. The pressure was almot non-existent, and dispite highlighting key areas on which I required work, these requests were ignored, as was my request for firm pressure. At the end of the massage, I felt no benefits whatsoever and the experience was a waste of my time and money, unfortunately.

The runway is a very nice, professional and glamorous salon. The therapist was lovely, professional and friendly. I was made to feel very welcome and will be definitely going back.

Me and my friend was booked for few treatment today , i was so glad that i had a wonderful time there, staff was very pleasant, we were booked in at 1.00pm but we reached 20 mints earlier,girls offer us tea and coffee.,while we having a coffee they were telling to us about the treatments and products,which was quite impressive, then the time come when 1 of the girl took me to the room for massage and the other 1 start my friends 'nails.after finishing our treatments we were so relaxed.its was a small place but very peaceful, me and my freind was so happy that we had a very relaxing day.i will definitely go back.

Quite compact but pleasant and nicely decorated . The treatment room backs out onto the main road which is quite busy so not that easy to relax completely . However , the massage was nice and the facial was enjoyable and the products used were nice. The derma-clay mask used at the end was very strong for me personally so be wary if you have normal/ dry skin as it will completely strip you of moisture . Perhaps ask for an alternative. My sister who has oily skin was fine with it. All in all a nice place with pleasant staff in comfortable surroundings.

We had a fantastic time, the massage was very firm & facilites were clean! I would reccomend this spa to anyone wanting a deep tissue massage. I have three friends going to our next appoitment for a girly spa day, i look fowards to sharing this with them.

I went for a back, neck and shoulder massage. My therapist was lovely and advised me which type of massage would be best for me. It was a lovely 30 mins. Only thing that I would change would be the temperature of the room - it could've been a little warmer. Otherwise nil complaints. I will be going back again!

I got a great deal on Wahanda for a Swedish Massage, having never been to Anesis Spa before. I booked my appointment easily online and went along, unsure of what to expect.

I had never had a swedish massage before, being used to chinese massage and deep tissue. The massage therapist was lovely, softly spoken and allowed me to soak up the relaxation whilst i was there. The massage itself was fabulous, and really relaxed my tired muscles. She located some problem areas which have given me years of trouble, and although she wasn't able to get rid of them (no-one can!) she was able to give me some practical advice to address these areas.

Highly recommend this spa for the swedish massage.

The only reason I have not give the highest rating is that as i was leaving, I was asked by the gentleman at reception for my voucher again (which i had already given to one of his colleagues on the way in). He was unable to find my voucher and asked me to send it in to them again when I get home. It's a small thing but after such a relaxing hour of massage, it was a tad annoying.

The venue is lovely and the therapist obviously had good technique. However, the lights in the room were too harsh (one set of lights kept dimming and then brightening) - candle light would have been better. Also the massage pressure used was too soft - the therapist did not ask me about the pressure and when I said she could use a harder pressure, she did use slightly harder pressure but not enough and she did not ask me about the pressure.

Unfortunately an unsatisfactory massage.

Location is lovely. You feel like a million dollars just walking into the Hilton hotel on Park Lane. Then the seating area is tranquil and relaxing and was offered a choice of champagne or hot drink while I waited. The therapist was lovely. Made me feel very comfortable an explained what she was doing. The location, spa, therapist were great. would definitely recommend it.

The masseuse was very good; she asked what I wanted, gave me a choice of oils and continually checked to ensure that the pressure was right. The salon and surroundings are very basic, but I would go back to her.

This is such good value using the Wahanda voucher that this is the second time I have used it. It is a spa inside my gym which is very convenient. The staff are always kind and professional. The therapist did an excellent job and I was so relaxed by the end of the session. I will definitely be using another voucher soon!

Returned here with my friend, after loving it the first time. Had a fantastic time, staff were brilliant, very helpful and accommodating. Great facilities, loved the hydro pool, can't wait to go again!

This was my first visit to Lindy's Escape and I have to say it was disappointing...
I purchased a facial through Wahanda which seemed good value so booked to have a back massage at full price at the same time. I’d been looking forward to it all week and spent time looking through the different facials I could have. When I arrived I was surprised to find my therapist wasn’t the lady I’d spoken to on the phone (Lindy) but a girl covering for Lindy who seemed to be very inexperienced and didn’t deliver to the standard I was expecting.
I didn’t receive the facial I requested (Youthful You) which included a peel off mask and I felt like the therapist was just passing time leaving me with different products on then washing them off after running the water numerous times throughout the treatment.
The back massage was ok but definitely not worth £25 (extremely over priced – I have never paid anything like that for a 30 minute treatment even in the city centre)!! The couch didn’t have a whole for my face so I walked out with a crick in my neck and the therapist noisily squeezed herself around the bed about ten times during the massage.
The treatment room reeked of paint and I was told not to touch the walls as it was wet, hard to do as the room was so small – also the amount of noise was terrible coming from the other rooms, people walking on the hard floors and talking loudly - not at all relaxing!
To top it off, after over an hour of talking about my skin type I was awkwardly handed some testers and told that as I’d mentioned having ‘sensitive skin’ to try them, this annoyed me because I’d not once mentioned that I had sensitive skin, it was very obvious the reason she said that was because that’s all she had left in her cupboard!
Overall I didn’t rate my experience, I felt worse after than when I went in and sadly won’t be returning to this salon again.

Best Swedish massage ever!!
I only live local to the area and although I hadn't heard of the place before I was surprised at how many different treatments they do offer. The place is nice and clean and so are the treatment room. The therapist was so professional and skillful I never wanted the experience to end.
I have been back ever since and will continue to do so. prices are also reasonable.

It tooke ages to book an appointment, they were never answering to emails or phone. After I managed to book my treatment I received a call the day before saying it was cancelled as they didn't have the therapist the day after (?????) How can you know at 9am on thursday if you do have or not the therapist at 7pm on Friday??? Wierd!!
However...after many calls i managed to find an appointment , even if i couldn't decide the time as they were really booked up.
When I arrived I have to wait in front of the receptionist STANDING for 5-7 mins..as there were no seats!!
After I went to the room and had my treatments which could have last 2 hours exactly, but i was already out of the place after 1h and 35mins...so it's obvious they didn't give me an hour massage.
The worst came while I was trying to relax while having the swedish massage..indeed the therapist got stopped three times from the receptionist which was knocking on the door asking her things...and even if she said sorry i think it's not enough...you cannot interrupt people while trying to have a relaxing massage. The treatment room was next to the reception and you could hear all the talks from the people waiting for treatments, as well as receptionist making phone calls...
The facial was ok, apart from that i have to admit i've lost 40£ with those offers.

This spa has such amazing attention to detail, from waiting in their gorgeous relaxation room, to sipping on the delicious herbal tea, my massage was fab - with a lovely touch of an inhalation bowl beneath the hole with spearmint - WOW!

My therapist was so knowledgable and really worked on my tension areas, the treatment table was super wide, super warm and even at the end the therapist gently raised the head and gave me a cool glass of water! Great!!!

Not only did I walk away with some great smelling "Elemis Instant Refreshing Gel" for my tense shoulders I booked in for a course of massage!!!

I have been to quite a few spas in my time and nothing ticks ALL the boxes that this spa has!

This place is not reputable! Do NOT sign up for a membership here. If you try to end it, they will cheat you out of your remaining credits. I had three hours left, they cut me off then charged me $80 when I went to try and use one of the credits I still had. But they didn't tell me they were charging me until after I had the massage. I ENDED UP PAYING $250 FOR A MEDIOCRE 50 MINUTE MASSAGE. Go somewhere else.

Stephanie is so good at what she does. I had a sports massage last time and returned for a Swedish massage this time, and brought my friend along too! We both really enjoyed it, and as we are both physically active in what we are studying we needed a massage tailored to our needs and Stephanie picked up on our sore points that needed attention. Can't wait to book my next appointment!
But shhhh! don't tell anyone about her, or she might not be able to book you in next time as so many people know of her reputation ;-)

The massage was really good and I would recommend the salon. I regularly have treatments here and have found they have the best products and facial gadgets around. The only negative was that I thought the therapist talked throughout my treatment a bit too much

The Purity Spa is in the Park Lane Hilton Hotel, which is centrally located. I had a 1/2 hour massage and 1/2 hour facial with a glass of bubbly at the end. The therapy room itself was small but perfectly formed. Both the massage and facial were very good and the therapist was professionaland friendly. I thought it was good value for money.

Me and my boyfriend visited the spa last weekend on the recommendation of a friend of mine and we were so glad we took the advice. I had a crystal facial and was a little nervous beforehand because i have extremely sensitive skin but afterwards i was beyond pleased, you could actually see the difference immediately, my skin was glowing, soft and clear and even up to a week later i still had no need to use my foundation :)
I also had a thai massage and my boyfriend had a swedish massage. I loved my thai massage and he loved his swedish massage so much we decided to have massages at least once every two weeks.
The staff were really nice and made us feel comfortable and we even got a little discount which i thought was very sweet.
I thought it was nice they have gift certificates for treatments and purchased one for my friend that recommended it in the first place.

I was lucky enough to receive a massage for a hot stone massage as Christmas present- perfect as I love massages. I arrived at the venue and was told that the massage would be a Swedish massage as this therapist did not do hot stone, to be fair they did tell me this may be the case when I booked. I was then led into the massage room, a bit small and somewhat basic, but fine. Unfortunately, no calming music being played, but again no big deal. The massage itself was ok, however there was so much noise it was impossible to relax. Due to the venue being tiny you can literally hear EVERYTHING taking place, every step on the wooden floors, every conversation in the entire shop, people coming in and out, other treatments taking place. This was the worst massage I have ever experienced. Upon leaving the owner asked how my treatment went. I was honest but polite, stating that the massage itself was fine, but the level of noise was not conducive to a relaxing massage experience. At this point she became very defensive and her whole demeanour changed, and she told me that I needed to go to a “proper spa” if I wanted such an experience, she then proceeded to storm out and slam the door behind her. This was a poor experience on every level I would strongly advise against going to Spa fabulous for a message. I cannot speak for the other treatments, but would hate for others to feel as disappointed as I did.

At One Day Spa is in a lovely location set away from hustle and bustle. was offered a drink whilst i completed my health form and the spa had lovely relaxing smell and ambience. Amy was very good and i will be looking out for more offers in the future and would definitely go again. Bargain offer, great price! There was also a market stall fair on in the arcade and so when i left i felt nice and relaxed and when for a mooch through the trinkets-overall great experience!

The room where you have the treatment is lovely, the therapists were both easy going and friendly, the massage was very good. The room where we had our glass of bubbly afterwards isn't the most beautiful as it is basically a waiting area with a big sun bed in it and as it's downstairs there are no windows!
But we had a lovely time and would go back.

The place was disorganised and I was left waiting for half an hour before having my treatment.
There was a mix up and the therapist who was meant to do my massage was double booked to treat someone else.
However, that may have been a blessing in disguise as the therapist I ended up with was really good and did a fantastic job.
I expected more from the spa but it was value for money!

Pretty cool environment with a super friendly staff. me and my friend had a Swedish massage which was brilliant. Both of us enjoyed it. The only thing that was a little off was the music which was right next to my ear and quite loud for the kinda treatment I was having, other than that everything was lovely.

I went there with a friend of mine. The salon looked nice, the massage was ok. I felt the massage beds were quite uncomfortable, especially when you lie with your head down when the therapist massage your back I felt like there is no air to breath. We didn't like that the therapist finished 15 minutes earlier even though we purchased 60 min deal. It felt a bit rushed.

Friendly, easy place. The massage room was lovely; I felt very comfortable and my therapist was WONDERFUL - no fuss, sensitive to my not wanting to talk, kind. An excellent massage which left me feeling great, not drained. Then felt like I was allowed to take my time downstairs getting coat on, drinking water etc.

Overall it was a lovely swedish massage. Very relaxing and spot on on the back area. Shall def. go back. Good value. Just could be more black out. A little too light for relaxing.

The customer service was excellent. Every member of staff was polite and friendly making me feel at ease from the moment I arrived.
The facilities were clean and their was a lot to do on the day.
Overall I would recommend this branch.

Fantastic!! Therapist was lovely! Swedish Massage was great, sooooo relaxing! The oil she used smelt great! Rest of the staff where lovely too, will defiantly be going back. The Hairdressers upstairs look good to!

Excellent treatment and therapist. Excellent venue also. This is a very convenient location if you work in the city and the hours are quite flexible. It was not too difficult to find a suitable time for the treatment also, which is sometimes a problem with these offers.

Had a wonderful, relaxing swedish massage with my mum for Mother's Day. The staff were lovely and I would definitely go back and have lunch next time too! The spa day facilities look great as well. We would come again for another treatment.

Came to see Sarah When she had first opened and the salon was nice and warm with lovley smell of incense! Sarah was very bubbly and welcoming and showed me to my warm cosy room. the massage was brilliant..she really worked my knots and my ear candle treatment was lovley and managed to help my sinus probs! this salon also does beauty and nail and hair extensions at brill prices too! going to have them done also!...over all lovley place and staff!

Ive been to this spa twice, and twice I was disappointed. First time I paid £90 for a 1 & a half hour treatment which turned out to be just over an hour treatment time. The decor is very tired and shabby looking, there was even dampness on the ceiling! I was really needing some chill out time but with drilling noise from workmen and loud screaming from kids playing in the pool directly outside the room this wasnt possible. The changing rooms were also less desirable and I was desperate just to go home, hugely disappointed.

The second time I received an unfortunate christmas gift to go with friends, this was one year later and I wasnt expecting much however thought my previous experience may have been a one off. I signed in and was given 1 towel which had seen better days although was clean, no robes or slippers as I was entitled to with my voucher. The 'spa' was again full of kids and was definitely not a calm environment you expect. I was taken in for my treatment at my exact time. The therapist was lovely although had no rapor with me watsoever I had the feeling they just get you in and out as quick as possible. I was in a different room this time further away from the pool however it was just as noisy, and the decor was just as tired. The treatment was good however not £85 worth. After exactly 1 hour she left me to get ready, again no rapor or even asking if Id enjoyed my treatment. I felt hurried as literally after about 2 minutes she came in whilst I was getting dressed asking if I was ready yet. She then gave me a voucher for the same treatment for only £35 when the voucher Id just used was £85 worth! I wouldnt even pay £35 for the treatment again the experience was that bad. My friends also said they would never go back and had the same complaints as myself. None of us were given the service as described, no robes, slippers or herbal tea.
I would never comment on websites like this but for people to pay these prices thinking theyre getting 5* service is appalling. I now go to Blythswood every month and I cant even compare it, its only a completely different level for the same prices!

Had a nice time, there was 2 of us and we thought we were booked to have our treatments at the same time, which wasn't the case, a better explanation from staff at the beginning of the experience would have been appreciated, we were left guessing!. If we had wanted to use the beds/day room would have had to pay extra.

the therapist could nt do enough for us. she was helpful, informative, efficient and friendly.
the room had ambience , not clinical at all.
the treatments were spot on.
the products were kind to my skin.

I went to the AtOne Day Spa after looking up places to go in Birmingham for a while on Google. They had a special voucher deal on, so it was 2 treatments for £50. So I chose Swedish Massage (60 mins) and Express Thai Facial (30 mins). The Spa is decorated nicely in luxurious purples and golds, and the massage/treatment rooms are nicely decorated too, with eastern type decor and Buddha statues etc. Nice relaxing music. I was offered a cup of tea, and then I completed a contact form. The therapist was called Miriam and she was very nice and friendly and made me feel relaxed. The massage was wonderful, very vigorous at times, which is what I needed as I had a lot of tension in my neck and back muscles. I then had spa facial which was lovely! She washed my face, put an exfoliator on, and then face mask and pads over my eyes...bliss!! Overall I ma very happy with the Spa and I am already planning a trip in June! Fantastic!!

Visited with my sister for a birthday. The room is a bit hard to find if you don't know where to look (above Remedy hairdressers) and there are 2 flights of stairs to reach it but worth the effort!.

The therapist was warm and welcoming and asked us what our requirements were. The swedish massage was great and the facial really relaxing with lovely smelling products!

Prices for the treatment menu seem reasonable and there are student discounts offered and we both felt we would visit again and try out more treatments.

I arrived on time but the therapist was a little behind time however this was not a problem as the hairdressing staff who occupy downstairs made me feel welcome and kept me informed of the delay. When i went upstairs to the therapist's salon it was warm,friendly and inviting. the therapist was friendly and knowledgeable about all aspects of the therapy. The room was without fault as was the excellent massage. i did feel 'shortchanged' as i have with other 'deals' whereby you do not feel you have been treated in the same way as you would have been had you been paying full price for a treatment. I would (and have) recommended this therapist to others. Well done, keep up the good work.

Really friendly service . Massage was just what i needed after a long week at work . 2 week manicure really did last 2 weeks in actual fact nearly 3 weeks if you avoid housework !!!. Definetly would return

Went there for a swedish massage a couple of weeks ago. While the massage in itself was alright and the therepist was nice, the facilities were not. It looked ok when I first walked in the door but then I was taken upstairs to the massage room and I was not impressed. There was a weird smell of some sort of chemical and the carpet in the room felt dirty. Moreover, the radio wasn't working so no music.

Lovely therapist who did try to work out my knots. So was a nice massage. Location wise, it's not the best, a little off the main road. It's part of a hair salon so not a spa like place. Quite basic, but for that the price is quite reasonable.

This is the best place in Brighton to get a massage. The staff are so sweet and attentive. The facilities and small but beautifully done and the massage is perfect!

My massage was wonderful - definitely worth it! I was quite sore after a hard gym class and my therapist got the pressure just right. I read a few reviews saying that the room could be quite noisy - it is within the hotel gym - but it was quiet when I was there so I had no complaints. Would definitely book again.

IT was my first visit to this salon, and it was a little tricky to find, but once there I was warmly welcomed, given the obligatory form to fill in then taken for my treatment. The masseuse seemed young to me, however, i discovered she'd been massaging for over three years, including on a cruise ship and she really knew what she was doing. I thought she did a brilliant job, covered the whole of my body in the alloted time, and i left feeling nice and relaxed. will definitely go again.

First of all, I benefited from a 50% reduction on everything I booked during my first visit. The place is brand new and there was a lovely smell inside. Most importantly, the service was outstanding. My haircut was great and the massage was really amazing, it relaxed me totally, I cannot recommend Marion enough, she is very good at what she does.

I walked in to book an appointment at the Green Room with a friend from the US and instantly gave a second thought to booking a massage here. At the waiting area, the radio was playing loudly and I asked the manager whether it would be quite in the treatment room, she said yes. So I thought it would be fine and came back a couple of hours later for a Swedish massage and deep tissue massage for my friend. As we walked in we were ushered into our treatment rooms (loud radio still on) and thought this may not be too bad. But started to worry again when I got myself ready on a rickety massage table and felt the coldness in the room. I requested for the heating to be turned on but it didn't work and went through an hour of feeling cold. I could still here the radio playing (and phone ringing) as it drowned the relaxing music only turned on half an hour into the massage. I think the therapist had it with my basic requests (warm and peaceful room) and hastily finished my massage. The worst place I've been too and would not go back again.

I wanted to book a deep tissue massage so the reception had to check availability, she was efficient as she called me back. Unfortunately the day before they were ill so had to go for a swedish massage instead. Thought that it was good that they had put so much effort into contacting me and updating me despite not getting the treatment I wanted.

The salon is not on the main shopping side of the road but opposite (the side that traffic goes away from Clapham Junction) so not that easy to find.

The salon is quiet small inside, but clean and tidy with a friendly welcome. I've never had a Swedish Massage so not sure how it compares but was good, relaxing, different to others. Only snag was that I asked for increased pressure and didn't get it. Enjoyed it, would go again but probably with an offer.

The relaxation room was lovely and set us both up for a wonderful massage. I have regular massages and have to say that i have never felt so relaxed. We then went into the jacuzzi and sauna. Atmosphere was nice and friendly

Staff here are great and the new hairdresser Chloe did an amazing job with my hair. Definitely recommend this place!!

It took me soo long to actually get through to this salon. I called for days and days and no answer. I also emailed and got no reply. After waiting 2 or 3 weeks I called again and someone actually answered the phone. I wanted to get a massage and a pedicure done on the same day. The next available appointment was not for another 2 months but I booked it in. The day before I was going I called to confirm my time and was told that they had no record of my booking. I had to rebook for another 2 months in advance. When I finally had the treatment it was very nice but not worth the wait.......

We both had a great time. The staff were professional, the atmosphere was great and the spa was nice too. I loved the fact that we could have a massage in the same room at the same time. We had a very relaxing time.

I bought a deal for my friend's birthday and we both had a very lovely day and would thoroughly recommend the treatments. The cream tea was also lovely in comfy surroundings.

me and my friend went to the clinic together, it was brilliant experience very very relaxing felt at ease the whole time i was there, we got offered hot or cold drinks the reception area was welcoming information on other products they offer was clearly advertised which made me interested and now i have booked for other treatments, the doctor was very nice spoke in a good and was well presented, the therapists who did our massages was also very nice they explained what they would be doing asked all questions you would think that need asking, over all the experience was really nice calming and i was relaxed when i left, i would recommend this clinic to friends and family :)

I didn't even get to have my massage so cant comment on it, but felt i needed to review my experience.

I had been unable to get through on the telephone to book my massage as it was engaged continually so sent off a booking request on their online booking system. When you do this, the email they auto generate says they will contact you to confirm, and thank you for the booking.

It got to an hour before the requested time however i still had not heard and so i phoned them to find out whether my booking was going ahead. Unfortunately i was told that they had been very busy and it would be impossible to do my massage.

I asked why no-one had called me, as i would have gone elsewhere had i known sooner, and i was told that they were too busy to even check the online bookings.

As my first experience with them, i have to say i was disappointed, that they could not even get back to me to say they could not offer me my booking.

My Tip - don't use their online booking system.....

The place is not easy to find, however the it is absolutely brililant. I thought it was really nice and have returned since. Real good value for money, infomration provided while doing the facial, massage was great.

Nice and good staff, very cooperative, understanding and helping. Easy and relaxing environment with good music on. Liked it and would love to go again and recommend others to attend.

Had a fantastic time, real value for money. Hotel and grounds are beautiful, food top class!

Only complaint was the load music from the Wedding that was taking place, that kept us awake.

1.Was at the spa very yesterday. I have several complaints. The reason I purchased the deal was for the aromatherapy message. I went to the spa, and they said they only offer Swedish massage. (even though I paid for an aromatherapy message and their website offers Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy).

2. Over the phone, they told me they would perform 2 massages at once. Instead, I ended up waiting over 1 hour for my friend to get hers done, and finally I was able to get mine done.

3. When you enter the spa, it does not look like a spa. Nothing about the environment is relaxing. There is no ambient feel. There is no music. There are no plants or warm colours. The decor is cold and sterile - it is akin to a Dr.'s clinic (one that performs a surgery, or where you go to get your papsmear) rather than an actual spa.

4. The owner of the spa was conducting renovations. I noticed he was the plumber, receptionist, owner, and cleaner, all in one. Talk about jack of all trades eh? A bit shady if you ask me.

5. The kitchen was located within the toilet. Enough said.

6. Reception was absent at most times. I had to call the spa myself at 11:00 am just to confirm my OWN 4:00 pm appointment that day. When I did try and call, no one picked up the phone. I had called at list 5 different times during the day. Their mailbox was full, so I could not even leave a message. The alternative mobile number listed on their website is useless. As the above poster said, they offer no water and had no magazines to read, during the wait. This is the minimum a spa should do.

7. In the end, I took the Swedish massage because my friend and I had already travelled the distance. The message was not unpleasant but it was not good either. My boyfriend gives better massages, and he is not a licenced masseuse nor is he a therapist. It's shameful. I had a bad experience, which is why I didn't tip the spa (customary to tip 15-20% for spa services). After this entire experience, could you blame me?
8. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID

Despite the fact that the spa seemed quite busy, the staff were really great at accomodating me and my partner. As it was his first spa experience, they were really great at introductions and explaining what was going to happen and when.
The swedish massage was the best I've had with an additional head massage.
The Rasul and Mud Treatment was the highlight of our day, In all, we spent 5 hours there. Definitely the break that we needed from our busy lives.

The massage was excellent value for money and very enjoyable. The venue is well located and easy to reach, close to London Road Station. The ambiance was pleasant however the therapist could have done more to welcome me and make me feel at ease.

I had the Swedish back, neck and shoulder massage this Saturday and really enjoyed it! As a Nurse I tend to have back problems, but after this massage I felt really loose. The therapist was really lovely too and she created a calmimg, peaceful environment. I will be definately going back to see her for a Swedish back, neck and shoulder massage!

Had a great day with my friend at this Spa - recommend the place. I love Swedish massages but it's always a hit or miss as the therapist is new to your body, however, she did a great job and felt relaxed afterwards. Thumbs up from me.

This was a great little find thanks to wahanda. The therapists were very friendly and the massage was firm and effective on my knots! Definitely recommend Ivy as a little oasis off Leith walk.

The place was not easy to find. There is a sign but not clear enough to see when you are looking UP for number. 75 is a Black door, that is NOT the entrance. It is through the hairdressers and down stairs.
A customer from the upstairs salon was shouting on her mobile phone! That is the only negative part.

The Therapist was excellent. Really professional, considerate and efficient. The place was clean, as were the towels, and treatment room. Calm music was played and it was nice and warm.
A lovely hour being looked after. I was offered water before and after the massage.

I had an offer for myself a friend to have a massage & facial. We were in the room which was really fun (best to go with close friends in that case!) and both the facial and massage were lovely. It's a beautiful hotel and it felt very luxourious to go along for a lovely treatment.

Nice facilities, relaxing atmosphere, and the therapist was very professional. The massage removed my stress and I could feel fresh after the massage. Although the venue was a bit inconvenient, it's worth going.

Superb Swedish massage - easily one of the best that I have had! From booking appointment until the actual treatment, everything was spot-on. Staffs were cheerful and friendly, facilities were top-notch and the massage was utterly relaxing.

Although I found it quite hard to book, I was pleased with the massage. There isn't parking but it is near the station so the journey is not too bad. I would like to say I have finally found a place where I will certainly become a regular. I booked myself in for a facial after reading reviews here, and I was not disappointed. The therapist was extremely knowledgable and the products lovely. I left with a very smooth and soft skin, that glowed for weeks.

This was the first time I'd ever had a massage and I found the experience very satisfying. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the lady who gave my treatment (Sylvia) was happy to answer all my questions, give me advice and make me feel more comfortable with the experience. I definatley recommend and have more massages in the future. :-)

Place is not immediately easy to find as you will pass along a number of residential streets. Around 15 minutes walk from tube station. Pressure is light so can fall asleep.

conveniently located near victoria station, this venue is very easy to find. the suite is in a hotel, the rooms and clean and relaxing. the massage itself was fantastic and didnt want it to end. there were spa facilities i could have used but didnt on this occasion. well worth the money.

i treated my friend to her 40th birthday to stephanies salon. Stephanie is a lovely therapise and very welcoming and good at her treatments. i will be back again as i am sure my friend will be back too!!!

The massage room was excellent. It could be improved by an add on of using the fitness center's sauna or steam room. I wish I had taken a dressing gown but this didn't really matter. I thought booking on line was OK but I don't like giving out my details.

I purchased O Spa's amazing massage offer £21 for a 50-minute Amazing massage. Was very nervous ahead of the appointment at O Spa Kensington as I had read terrible reviews about other customers experiences and I was ready to do battle with the staff if necessary if they tried to pull a fast one. On arrival, I was impressed by the salon, it was reasonably clean with nice internal decoration. Therapy rooms are nice and well-equipped. I had a Swedish massage with Peter who was excellent and really worked out the tension in my back. I left rejuvenated and relieved that contrary to my fears it had been a postive experience.

2nd visit: I had a relaxing/hot stones massage with a therapist called Paris. It wasn't the best I've had but it was satisfactory. I found the hand massage strokes and pressure a bit lacking and too light respectively. That said, I really enjoyed the hot stone element of the massage.

Bad points:
-Website said cancellations can be made online up to 48hrs prior to appointment but I found you couldn't amend booking or cancel 72 hours before. So, I had to contact the Kensington Branch to manually cancel.
-Receptionists not very professional, talking about relationship issues in ear shot of customers.
-Attention to detail a little bit lacking and maintenance issues.Hand cloths in the ladies changing room/toilets were dingy, grey and needed to be replaced. Needless to say, I used tissue to dry my hands. Toilets weren't very clean and one was blocked
-They don't automatically place tissues around the head hole on massage table for clients just towels which I wasnt convinced were fresh and replaced for each client which isnt very hygienic. I had to ask. Also, on my 2nd visit one of my towels was dirty and clearly hadn't been cleaned.
-I think there is a very fast turnaround of staff, as the first time I visited, I overheard a conversation about needing to cancel some appointments and having to hire more therapists quickly.

In sum: This could be a great place with a little work and much more attention to detail.

I went in for a pamper day . In reality was only a massage. The treatment Rooms are in the Gym in the Park Plaza Hotel that is a nice hotel but the gym is basic and they had me waiting there so it was a little put off. There was no one at the reception and I arrived early as they suggested, and It took 15 minutes before I got into the treatment room. The treatment room was clean and nice, with low lighting so was very relaxing. The therapist Renata, was really really good and she worked hard on my back, where I have some problems. At the end was a good value for the money.

Apart from the smoke alarm going off half way through, which was really loud and of course rather annoying, it was a decent massage and a nice enough place... and for £20 was a bargain!

Actually this was our second visit at Mayfair spa. The first one was on my partner's birthday for a chocolate bath (very similar to the mud one) for two. As I have hypothyroidism the lady that showed us our private steam room told us that if anything occurs we should press the intercom (emergency) button ( thoughtful, I said). after being there for 5 min almost no steam was coming out so I got outside to see if anyone was around but because nobody was there I pressed the intercom button three-five times, but nobody arrived. They only arrived when our therapy (after 15 min) was over and when I explained the situation they told me why didn't you call us with the button and I said that I did three times. We have been offered five extra minutes but the chocolate was just solid by then and the whole relaxation feeling was already destroyed. Not to mention what would have happened in a case of emergency.
However, I was fool enough to book again the Sunday retreat this time ( mud therapy/ steam room and 30 minutes massage). This time we have been told that there is a rain at the end of the mud treatment which apparently (as they told us) was supposed to be there the first time we visited the spa but it was not working. The treatment is quite short and during the whole time there were very very loud noises! Not only it was not relaxing but it was very disturbing. Again, I tried finding someone but nobody was around.When they came to tell us our time was over(finally as this was horrible !!!) I told them about the noises and they just replied " oh well, they are probably doing something" . No apologies at all! The massage was OK but when I asked for another bathrobe as the first one was wet, they completely ignored me. We have stated all the problems to the reception and they have apologised and told us that the manager is going to call us and apologise but she never did!

All in all, it is a small spa, nicely decorated but with this kind of customer service I would not recommend this place. it is very expensive and not only you don't get what you are paying but you may also leave being upset.. Very disappointed and an example showing that sometimes you shouldn't give second chances!

The place ws easy to get to. The massage was excellent and the therapist really nice. The only little issue was booking the massage which took a few goes but finally it all got sorted. Good value

We were greeted by very rude, miserable recpetion staff and the charged £2 each to borrow the slippers and robes, only to be told after paying that actually the slippers hadnt been delivered so we would have to walk around bare foot! It came to around 1oclock and me and my mum decided to go to get something to eat but felt rude going into the cafe without shoes on, so I went back to recpetion and asked if they had any slippers yet, only to be told by the stern looking woman no. So we went for lunch in the cafe which was reasonably priced for this sort of establishment, I had to take my hot chocolate back to the counter however as she had forgot to put my drink into it, quite amusing I know. To say we were supposed to be at a spa and getting pampered the whole place is more of a common leisure centre but without polite staff. It lacks the personal touches such as the nice toiletries in the changing rooms and the quietness, and the smell of the spa, also it was overcrowded and even in the cafe you had to go and get your drinks from the counter instead of them being brought over to your table. Its these little things for me that make a spa trip enjoyable not being met by a grumpy old lady on recpetion with poor customer service skills. Neither of us will be returning we will stick to what we know we like and go to Elements Medispa at Doncaster which is everything this place is not!

Having just visited this salon I am absolutely appalled and outraged at the poor level of customer service and apparent disregard for customer satisfaction or basic common courtesy.

Having received a pamper package for my birthday I was really looking forward to having my treatments. When I made my booking 2 weeks before the appointment I also requested an additional Indian Head Massage as this is something that I really enjoy and wanted to have a long relaxing day. I was told that this was all fine and that my appointment slot at 11.00am could accommodate the amount of time required. I double checked this twice during the telephone conversation. The pamper package alone was at least 1.5 hours long so with the Indian Head Massage it was going to be at least 2 hours in duration.

So I turned up this morning ready for some quality "me" time, only to be met by an extremely rude employee. The level of unprofessionalism that she displayed astounded me and she certainly didn't win an award for customer service at school / college! She straight away informed me that my Indian Head Massage hadn't been booked and even if it had then they could't do it because the therapist that did those wasn't it. When I told her that I was very disappointed and it wasn't good enough as I had booked it in advance her response, unbelievably, was that she hadn't booked it, it wasn't her writing so it wasn't her fault or problem and if I wasn't happy then I should speak to the Manager (who wasn't in)!! She added that it was probably the owners Daughter who is always screwing up, she didn't know why she let her work their and again said, not my problem and that it wasn't booked in anyway and walked away.

Another girl then approached me who, to be fair, was very nice and was trying to resolve the situation. She asked if I had booked a full body massage and had the diary with her. When I checked against my name it did state Mothers Pack (it was a Mothers Day Special Package) + IHM. I told her no I hadn't booked an additional body massage but IHM was an Indian Head Massage so it had been booked in. The other girl returned to the room and I informed her that my additional request had been booked in and she just shrugged her shoulders, said well I didn't write it and walked away again.

I couldn't believe the attitude of the person standing in front of me, especially given the nature of the business which is all about pampering people, making them feel good, giving them a bit of me time.

Unbelievably, the girl who had been trying to resolve the problem then told me that my treatments would take about 2 hours (as I knew) yet she had someone else booked in an hour after me and therefore wouldn't be able to fit everything in. By this time I was absolutely furious, I had driven for over an hour and half, been treated with complete dis respect and then told that my total booking was screwed up and that if I wasn't happy I should write in to complain - I don't think so!!

The girl eventually called the Manager to let her know that their was a problem and (and I could hear the conversation on the phone) the Manager told her to tell me she couldn't speak to me as she was on another call. When she came off the phone the Manager had said that I could either re-book again completely or do some of my treatments now and come back for the rest - that was the best that they could do. Arghhhh - if this is the way this company does business then I'm surprised that they are open at all!

I again told the girl that this wasn't acceptable. I was aware that it wasn't her fault and she was unfortunately having to deal with me but I was still not happy and told her that I wanted to speak with the Manager. I again ri-iterated the distance I had traveled, the fact that I had booked in plenty of time and that I had double checked my booking before coming off the telephone at the time. She told me she could give me her email address but the Manager didn't like her phone number being given out. I asked her to get the Manager back on the telephone there and then because I wanted to speak with her before I left. She called her back and I eventually got to talk to the Manager. Again I received the same response of re-book or do half and half, explaining that whoever booked the appointment in after me musn't have realised how long my appointment should have taken. Simple answer, when someone books an appointment block their slot out completely!!

During the phone call I informed her that given the way that I was initially treated her employee I did not want to have any treatments, if that was the attitude of the staff then I did not want them doing any treatments on me. She therefore told me to request a refund through the company that the package was purchased through! She did also say that she would speak with the employee in question the next day regarding the way I had been treated by her.

Attitude in business is everything, especially in a customer facing business. If they had responded differently initially, i.e. spoken to me in a friendly, polite and professional manner; admitted that they had completely screwed up and offered some kind of compensation for the inconvenience; demonstrated that they were sorry etc then the end result could have been very different. Everyone makes mistakes and I can handle that but instead they were rude, had a "I don't care / it's your problem" attitude, didn't make me feel comfortable at all and didn't do anything to try and appease the situation.

I would advise anyone thinking of going to this salon to stay far away and instead book yourself into somewhere that has an interest in customer service and providing a quality service to it's clients. I know 2 other people who had also bought deals with this company and they have now also sought a refund, so in one day they've lost 3 potential customers plus the further knock on of that. Does that sound like good business sense to you??

These treatments were brought for me as a birthday present. There was a waiting list for my booking but boy was it worth the wait. I was greeted promptly by my friendly therapist, offered a drink and shown to a pleasant treatment room. The next hour was pure bliss. I was given a combination of treatments which were masterfully executed. The only down side was that the hour finished too quickly. I'm back next week for more, and will make this a regular treat for myself. Highly recommend; I bought a treatment for a friend and she loved it too. Keep up the good work.

Overall the spa day was very good. Loved the use of facilities and the views were amazing.
I was a little let down by the therapist and massage itself. I wasn't asked if I’d had a massage previously, when I said that I usually have a knotted shoulder which I would like worked on, she didn't seem interested. I wasn't asked if everything was ok during the massage or if the pressure was ok (which I felt wasn't, having had many massages I would prefer a little firmer). My knotted shoulder which I had previously mentioned wasn’t really touched. Half way through, the music turned off. About 5 minutes later, another track came on for about 5 seconds, and then a different track came on for about 10 seconds before going off completely. The massage room itself was very dark, which I didn’t think was an issue but I couldn’t find the chair to put my robe on. After my massage the therapist got a glass of water for me, turned the light on and waited outside of the room, so I felt I had to rush. There wasn’t anything placed on my back to remove excess oils either (my friends had a different therapist where they had a warm/damp towel). Having turned the light on I noticed what looked like robes/towels on the floor next to the chair in a messy pile.

I just felt, little things could have made the treatment experience much more positive. But unfortunately they let the day down.

This was a great experience - unbelievable value for money - I paid £19 for the Lux Candle Massage. I went after work, and was immediately made to feel welcome by Cari. The salon itself is very homely, spotlessly clean, and so relaxing. I completely zoned out during the massage (the scalp massge in particular!) - it has been a long time since I felt that relaxed. I didn't feel rushed, and Cari spent time after my treatment discussing my skin concerns. I was so happy with my treatment that I booked in for a facial (going this week!) the same day, something I never usually do. Something about the experience just made me so comfortable and I felt like I really wanted to go back soon! Highly recommended.

Alanna was great -comprehensive check at the start, checked on the amount of pressure I liked, which areas gave me problems. Tension in my neck and shoulders felt 100% better when I floated home.

Tracey offers a mobile service which is lovely as you can relax in your own surroundings and after the massage dont have to worry about getting home. The massage itself was really relaxing and the oils left a gorgeous aroma in my room for hours afterwards. My partner had the deep tissue massage and said he felt like a new born baby again after. Can thouroughly reccomend A Healing Touch, wish I could have one everyday!

I had a TERRIBLE experience at Purity Spa! I purchased a voucher for 30 min massage. I scheduled an appointment for 3 months away as this was the earliest appointment, which was then cancelled for technical reasons. We agreed that the voucher would be re-issued and re-sent to me as there were no available slots for the next 2 months. I received a voucher for manicure instead of massage. I called and requested to re-issue the voucher. I was not sent a voucher until I called again after 20 business days. I have tried 20 times to reach anyone on the phone indicated on the voucher to book an appointment! I then wrote to the Customer Service Director Sophie Clark to complain. It took me 14 days of regular correspondence with her to get an appointment. The attitude was not of the kind you would expect from the Customer Service – rude, unprofessional. When I got my appointment, the masseuse was 10 min late (we started at 6.10) and she finished at 6.23. And it was the worst massage I’ve had.

A basic looking saion but it was clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. A good, very firm massage that really sorted out my dodgy shoulder. The special deal made the treatment incredible value for money.

We had a great day which was very relaxing. However, when described as a spa I expected a wider variety of relaxation rooms. There was a pool with saunas, steam rooms and jacuzis which were lovely but no other spa rooms. The treatment rooms were then in a separate location upstairs with only a small 'relaxation' room to wait in beforehand. All the staff were very friendly and the cafe offered a good selection of food and drinks for lunch. Although not quite what I was expecting we had a very relaxing day, the highlight of which was the massages. These were done exceptionally well and made the whole experience. With the two for one voucher we had, I felt the day was very reasonable.

Absolutely shocking service, how anyone can run a business like this is beyond me. Our appointment was booked, cancelled due to someone 'phoning in sick', then rebooked and cancelled for a second time due to the exact same reason, on the second cancellation they gave us 6 hours notice which is just not acceptable. We have since applied for a full refund and after all the hassle would advise anyone and everyone to steer clear of this company!

Went to Anesis for the 1st time in January and got an hour swedish massage and HD brows. The staff was friendly and so was my therapist Nadia. I left very happy with both the massage and my new brows. The only thing that wasn't tip-top was the temperature in the room where I got the massage, it felt pretty cold in there. However, everything else exceeded my expectations. I even got a complimentary pesci pedicure. I will definately be going back to Anesis and I can warmly recommend it to others!

I had a nice relaxing massage here, the therapist was lovely and I walked out feeling all relaxed and at peace with the world. It's in a nice hotel, however the massage room is part of the gym and you have to walk through the workout room and you can hear workout sounds in the distance, even though the relaxing music silenced most of it. There was a lovely smell of lavender when I lay down on the massage bed - very nice touch. I would go again, just for the massage, it's not so much a spa day.

The venue is easy to find and its location near Victoria Station is accessible to most. The staff at the hotel front desk were helpful when I asked for directions to the fitness suite. I was only there for a massage, but I got a tour of the facilities all the same. I probably wouldn't go to the gym there as it's got more of a sweaty boxing gym feel to it (might have something to do with the fact that it was only men working out there that day) rather than a place I would enjoy to go for a quick run or other exercise, but the massage room was pleasant and fortunately the noise from the gym didn't carry in there, so it was a very good setting for an hour of relaxing massage.

My therapist was friendly and professional and although she didn't ask me how much pressure to apply from the outset, she seemed to know how I liked it and it was a very good experience. Probably not one I'd pay the full price for, but with the discount it was well worth the money and one that I'd happily recommend - or repeat.

Divine! This was just such a welcome break from everything that was going on for me at the time - it was like stepping into a secret little world of bliss.
I'm always a bit nervous going into places alone, but the team were fab and put me at ease straight away.
I'll defo be looking out for more offers from Anesis - it will be my guilty pleasure! V x

Please ignore the negative reviews. I found Mariya to be nothing but highly professional, responsive and accommodating. She called me the day before my appointment and left a voicemail to advise me that they had moved locations to Chiswick, i called her back and she picked up immediately. When i told her i was unable to go to Chiswick she offered to come to my home as mine was a late appointment (mobile service is part of their service offering). Mariya arrived on time, she was incredibly professional in her demeanour and gave me one of the best massages i have had in a long time. I will certainly be using blondes n bronze going forward, and wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to friends and family.

Had a lovely afternoon. Lovely venue. I really enjoyed the treatments I received and will definitely be going back to try the spa, gym and restaurant. Would definitely recommend this to anyone of all ages

I went for the Swedish couple massage with my boyfriend. The place is very hard to find, but when I rang them, they answered straight away and gave clear directions.
The staff was very friendly and professional, the room was warm, relaxing atmosphere, but most importantly: the massage was great!

I took my boyfriend there for a day spa experience because it was his birthday, we both never been to bannatyne spa before and we thought the place was alright. The facilities thats offered were good but could be better. I've personally been to better spa with better facilities. The therapist that gave us our massge were not very friendly and looked quite miserable so kind of ruin our experience a little. overall we did have a lovely time.

The salon doesn't feel as swanky as the website. The massage room was very small and felt makeshift. The bed was pressed up against one wall so the therapist was unable to move all around me and had to massage from one side only.
It was good value with the deal, but I would not pay full price for this.
The massage was fine however, but I'm not sure how professionally qualified the masseuse was.

There was a misunderstanding about the 90 minute appointment time booked. They were able to offer an hour appointment later which I was grateful for. They had moved the venue from West Kensington to Chiswick within 1 week of attending.
The venue was nice. Tiny reception area, clean and calming. The room had 2 beds in and was a very good size. ambience was relaxing and warm. Olympia the therapist was great. Friendly, made me feel at ease. Had a Back massage. She had a great technique. Worked on my problem areas & felt so relaxed I fell asleep a few times during it. Facial was lovely. Skin felt really soft afterwards.

I just moved to London from New York, so I thought I would give this place a try since there was a deal on massage--much needed. My friend and I went and had to wait a really long time past our appointment. We got champagne in the meantime, but my friend's glass still had lipstick on it from someone else! Made me wonder what else is dirty there...Well, the massage was nice, but the trip into the bathroom was so gross! There were no napkins to dry your hands and only this dirty towel lying there. I'd steer clear of this place for other procedures. I hear there are some other really good places to try in Canary Wharf.

OMG what can I say apart from amazing! From the moment I walked in I was impressed, treatment spot on and was even offered a glass of champagne. I was told about an offer where i paid for 3 and got the 4th service free- I will definately be going back there after pay day to take them up on this.
