Went to Zumba (Six 1hour session for £20) at Sadlers Wells and Finsbury Town Hall. The teachers were really good. Studios were good too. If you are after a really good work-out then I wouldn't recommend Zumba, the hour session is not enough to work up a sweat. Overall, I had good fun (although I didn't attend all the sessions I booked due to the hassle of distance for me, travel expenses etc)

I went to the Zumba (not on the pull down list - thought 'Salsa' was the closest) classes on a Wednesday and Saturday morning. These are 45 mins long, very energetic and tiring but excellent and good fun. Highly recommend!

I have been to Zumba before but this time I brought one of my friends along and we are having such a great time and also enjoying the fun exercise! The teachers are great and I will definitely recommend it and come back again if the same deal is on.

I came here a couple of times for the Zumba classes. The instructor (Jessica) is very nice, enthusiastic and gets you jumping around! The venue is quite spacious, but it's not a gym so doesn't have very big changing rooms etc. The temperature control and stereo system works well too.

I actually did Zumba not salsa but there wasn't an option to pick Zumba. I think City Academy is a fantastic place and this was the first time I had tried Zumba. The teachers were great - all had a different style so I think for my next lot of Zumba lessons (Which i've just seen have another deal today - brilliant!) I know the style I like and will go for those teachers. Locations were all great and ultimately for £3 a lesson for a 60 min work (believe me, it is an intense work out) I couldn't praise it more.

I had to jump on the band wagon after hearing about Zumba. It was not a dissappointment either, you get to work those body muscles and have fun all at the same time. Sadler well was the best studio with undeniably energetic trainers, I did try some of the other studios on offer as saddler well was always packed and it still turned out that it was still the best.

Had no idea on what to expect with these zumba classes. All in all not bad.
In great locations and the teachers are always enthusiastic. Lack of consistency between classes and you often cover the same moves so very rarely challenging on your co-ordination but def on the heart.
Be warned classes are often oversubscribed and the hall itself has a tendency to lock you in or out. Changing rooms available on site!
In all honesty you get out of it what you put in.....Perhaps more fun with a friend and a large bottle of water.

I really enjoyed the Zumba class so far, I'm still doing it now, great energy and sweat out all the stress! Sadler's Well Theatre's space is nice, teachers I've met there are great.

Was very difficult to arrange classes. There were a few of us wanting to book the classes together and we were not able to. Also I requested to be able to attend an earlier time but the booking agent never responded to my email.

The instructor is great and the class is very enjoyable. The price of the voucher is very good value for money.

It was great fun. The class wasn't too full and the Zumba teacher was friendly and encouraging. The only bad thing is that it's fairly stressful finding classes that fit around your life that are not already full. Doing this within the three month expiry is challenging. However they were fairly friendly and helpful on the phone at City Academy.

The salsa taster was fantastic - we learnt the basic steps and towards the end of the lesson, could even perform a small routine to music! The teacher was lovely and her teaching style very effective - she also gave us a very good idea of what the course would be like if we took it up for the term (which we did). The venue is really exciting as the room is actually within the Sadler's Wells building.....you do feel as though you're part of the performing community! Overall, a great way to spend a couple of hours.

Brilliant Zumba class tonight with Gueti. Please note that her class was previously at 7.30pm and it is now 7pm.
I spoke to other women in the class and they love Gueti because she puts her heart, soul and passion into her fitness classes. This is Zumba with a difference: Brazilian-born Gueti knows her latin music and she cleverly mixes samba, salsa, merengue, cumbia, aerobics, stretching and conditioning.
She's warm, she's energetic and she has a mission to get London shaking that booty!
I recommend her classes, even with the tube strike the place was full, Gueti followers would climb mountains to make it to her lesson.

I went with a couple of girlfriends last week and it was an absolute blast. I didn't have prior salsa experience, but our instructor was patient, knowledgeable and lots of fun (not to mention adorable!). I would recommend this program to anyone, beginner or advanced. It's a fun activity to do around the city and I will definitely be going back!

This location is ideal for city workers that don't live locally, the facilities make you feel like you are a real dancer! Zumba is a wonderful way to have fun, dance around uninhibited and work out whilst really enjoying yourself. I went alone and loved it, I really would recommend this to everyone.

The club has been through a fantastic transformation and the treatment area is lovely. All the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and the place really has a lovely atomosphere. Rachel is the beauty therapist - I had a fab manicure with great attention to detail. As you would expect the classes are taught by extremely qualified and professional instructors. Value for money, great atomosphere and wow what an amazing place that you would never expect behind small doors!!

I was recently lucky enough to be able to try a dance class with RedHatSalsa, a popular group of Salsa classes in the Berkshire area. As a gymaphobe, I jumped at the opportunity to get fit without sweating it out on a treadmill.

I visited a class on Tuesday with a friend of mine,  in the dance rooms above the funky European café RISC. From their website I can see they also hold a variety of classes and dance evenings most nights of the week in bars, clubs and restaurants across Berkshire.

We made our way through several rooms to a room at the back, clearly labelled ‘Absolute Beginners’. The room quickly filled up with 28 other students, all in their 1st or 2nd lesson. The group was a equal mix of men and women, and there was a wide range of ages attending. Our dance teacher, Ed, got us to line up in two rows, and taught us the basic steps, which in all honesty felt a bit like a line dancing class! Apparently this is because line dancing did originate from Salsa dancing.

Once we had got the hang of the basic steps, we were asked to find a partner, with all the men ( and the poor lady who had to pretend to be a man due to a slight imbalance in men and woman in the class) lined up around the outside of the room. Ed then led us through the dance moves in our pairs, asking the ladies to move on to a new partner each time we learnt a new move. This gives every dancer an opportunity to dance with each partner twice.

The dance moves were easy to learn, and Ed’s clear instructions and patience were great. The atmosphere was really positive, with everyone being encouraging. Whilst it may not have been the hardest cardio workout, it was fun and it’s definitely a great way to get moving. After the lesson was finished, Ed let us know that we could stay for the beginner class next door, wait an hour for the dance floor to open up for all levels, or attend the Salsa party at a local restaurant at the weekend.
