I was really happy after having treatment here. I've had 3 so far and I'm already seeing noticable results. The women that work there were also very friendly and welcoming which is nice when you have a laser about to zap your bikini line. I'm now looking to see what area to get done next.

I love this place.. the technician is so friendly and helpful. Not to mention I'm half way done with laser hair removal on my arms and bikini and they're looking really good already, the hair's thinning out with each visit, more than I thought it would be without a lot of treatments. If it keeps up at this rate I'm sure by the 6th visit it will be totally gone! Yay!

We and my mum paid upfront for sopronna laser treatment as we were told. Had our 3rd and 2nd appointment today and there was a sign outside that the clinic is closed untill further notice because Dr Shrivas Kini has not paid his rent of £180!!!! Rang the number he gave us and it is a totally different number of another clinic which he doesnt own. All im saying we want our money back. Everyone on her type in Dr Shrivas Kini, leeds into google and see what comes up (SHOCKING)

Staff was rude, management careless and when I complained they just treated me as a nuisance!!!

The actual treatment was the most painful I've had - compared with Court House Clinics and Skin Clinic laser hair removal - and they missed patches.

In the end I decided to ditch the next four sessions and go somewhere proper. A complete waste of money and time. Not worth the discount.

Great results... had my underarms zapped and it worked a treat even after one treatment. Very quick, and pain free (you can feel it but its defo not painful) the room is clean and has everything it needs for what it offers and the lady was well presented and friendly ... what more could you ask for!?! Knowledgeable, qualified and friendly therapist. Relaxing and clean facilities. A well presented spa and good value for money. Location slightly difficult to find and get to but overall very satisfying experience due to my therapist and careful treatment.

If you have ever been unlucky to be diagnosed with Cancer you are not welcome at Destination Skin . Been in remission for 18 months but refused treatment for a pampering facial due to this previous unfortunate illness . Shocking !!! They expect you to provide a doctors letter 18 months on !!!! . I felt ashamed and i had had the plague !! . Don t you think i have been though enough and deserve some pampering ?? I have been having facials for the past year at lots of different salons and never never been asked to provide a letter regarding my health they have accepted my word . The last thing you want when you feel yuk is a facial believe me i know

CityPoint is a very well hidden gem. Take the lift down to the clean reception and you're greeted with a warm welcome and led to wait on the sofas (which are also being used by clients in between treatments who sit there in their dressing gowns - probably the only thing I'd criticise!).

I had a full and in depth consultation with Katie. Whilst i'd had the treatment before in a different venue, she was sure to go through all the details before patch testing me. Very friendly and thorough staff who made me feel at ease in a new place.

Treatment is well worth it - such a good deal for a year's worth of lasering and the Soprano is one of the best lasers you can use.

Definitely would use this place again, not just for lasering but massages too.

A little tricky actually getting to the spa but it is beautiful when you find it. Its very professional and very elegant and creates a very good ambience.
The staff were all very friendly and informative.

Hello Everyone

Do not bother going to this salon. They are very unhygenic. They used a spatula to put gel on my area for treatment and I am telling you I came out in a rash. I am sure the same gel was used on someone else, they just scrape it off and leave it on the spatula. Also the bed I had to lie on had hairs all over it. Also they don't do the treatment well at all. Couple of zaps and thats it. Really unfrienly, moody girls having arguments over the phone while customers on site. Soo unproffessional. Would never go back!!!!

Oh and did I mention that on one occasion I was half undressed sitting on the bed receiving treatment with my underwear on, and the guy at the receptionist walked in and told the ''beautician'' to hurry up as her next client was waiting . seriously wtf?

On another occasion the lady doing my treatment decided it was ok to talk on the phone while she was treating me and she didn't have her glasses on, till the receptionist walked in and told her to get off the phone and to wear her glasses.

The place is very cosy and comfortable as well as the therapist and receptionist people. Truly enjoyed it there. Very clean too. The laser was painful, not like other laser treatments that i have had done namely YAG or Diode.

I want to thank Sheila and the team at the Pulse light Clinic for doing such a great job. I was a very hairy man but after my course of laser hair removal at the Pulse Light Clinic I am now a smooth man! The staff are really nice and fun to talk to and also very professional and the clinic is clean. Even though I was hairy the hair removal took less sessions than I had anticipated and is much cheaper than having hair removal in London elsewhere. Thanks again team! I will send any of my hairy friends to you for laser hair removal in London anytime!

I bought 6 sessions of IPL hair removal as a groupon voucher. While the staff were friendly, it did seem they were rushing the treatments due to being a groupon customer - full legs, bikini & top lip only took around 45mins per session. After 4 sessions, I saw no improvement at all & on my 5th session, I got a severe burn on my leg which blistered over. The therapist brushed this off saying she wasn't worried about it. A couple of months on & I still have a scar & am no less hairy! (I never returned for the 6th session) Although the deal was super cheap, all I got for my £130 was a permanent scar - definitely not worth it!!!! stick with the razors ladies or spend it bit more money & go somewhere that's been recommended to you

I bought my voucher and made my initial appointment for laser hair removal. What I didn't realise, but was told, (after having paid for my voucher) is that the laser only works on dark hair. As I am very fair, the only area where the laser would be likely to work would be on my underarms. So I am only getting one area treated instead of two which is disappointing - and something that could have been made clear on the blurb advertising the treatment on Wahanda. I don't know what I would have done if I couldn't have even had my underarms done - waste of money! I would have been complaining and insisting on my money back. Hopefully the treatment will work on my underarms OK. Having got that out of the way, the therapist, Katie, was very knowledgable and very nice. And the spa seems lovely - but confusing to find your way in! At 8.30 in the morning I was confronted with locked doors and no-one answering the intercom. I had to sneak in when a member opened the door. Fingers crossed that the treatment works!

There's a relaxing and professional atmosphere in the main areas of this spa which is tucked away - a hidden gem.

I went twice within the space of a few days for a patch test and then first treatment. The therapist spent a long time going through pre- and after-care and answering my questions. All in all a very good atmosphere and attention to detail. I'm looking forward to returning.

This spa is located a couple of minutes from Moorgate Station, so really handy to get to if you are based in the City.
The spa looks and smells lovely, you are warmly greeted upon arrival and the process of booking the test patch and subsequent appointments is slick and easy.
I purchased the 1 year unlimited IPL Treatment which is great value, meaning at the end of the 12 months I should have been able to have 6-8 treatments which should be enough to remove my hair permanently. The treatment itself was carried out quickly and professionally, and I didn't feel uncomfortable at all, Katie was great and immediately puts you at ease.
Highly recommended!

Excellent customer service

Had IPL hair removal for myself and thread vein removal for my boyfriend a few weeks ago.. we are both very satisfied with the results! Dawn is incredibly nice, she puts you at ease and is very knowledgeable. Can't wait to try out other treatments at this clinic!

The Spa at the Citypoint club is a very relaxing environment, the reception staff are polite and attentive. The consultant was friendly but professional, I had my initial consultation on Tuesday and my first treatment on Thursday. This deal was excellent value for money, I'm looking forward to seeing the results.

This is a very professional setup which is hidden away so it was a lovely surprise visiting it as I've worked in the City for a long time but didn't know of its existence.

The Reception staff are welcoming and when sitting down with the therapist, she went through everything in great detail. I took away with me dos and don'ts about exposure to sun, personal hair removal etc, so I know my role in this process.

I felt I was handled in a professional and courteous way which hasn't always been my experience when using a daily-deal voucher! So far I've only had a patch test but going on my first visit, I think the rest of my treatments will be top notch. I'd definitely recommend this venue.

the gym/spa is beautiful and the location was very easy for me, in the city. the therapist was experienced and the general feeling of the establishment, was one of excellence.

i would get take advantage of any of the vouchers that come up!!!

The first few times I went to Saks I thought it was alright. Then I turned up for my appointment one day to find that it hadn’t been put in the system. The girl at the desk then proceeded to tell me that I had phoned up earlier because I had got a dentist appointment and had said I would be late. I told her this was incorrect but she then told me I was wrong and then said that it was my husband (who doesn’t exist) who called. I finally found my appointment card and proved to her that I did have an appointment. I never received and apology for the mix up or the fact that I had been interrupted and told I was wrong. No wonder they have had to go on Groupon to get more customers.

The spa is so nice and relaxing. The staff is friendly, the nurse was great. I'll go back for all my
treatments.

Have only been to one session. So far so good. Advice from the therapist consult had been helpful and informative. The clinic is centrally located and easy distance from work. Service provided has been good, although maybe a bit understaffed (but it may have been just bad timing for me).

What great this place was, Neda was so professional and is still as ussual. Got a 6 package course with her, getting rid of all that unwanted hair. Amazing machine too!!

What a great facility, really felt at home here. Neda was great with the laser hair removal, what a great machine as well. Completely painless and so effective, my skin feels so smooth now!

I'm so annoyed - I spotted the offer of £199 for 6 bikini sessions, but when I went back to pay the next day, they'd jacked up the price to £299 overnight for exactly the same treatment! Not happy :( They aren't the best value for bikini line treatments anymore, so I'm going elsewhere!

This salon is tucked away but it is a good find. I went for hair removal and I have noticed a real difference and have not yet completed the course. I have tried many different methods of hair removal in my time but this has been the most successful. I have even tried laser removal at another salon but it didn't work.

The building itself is a bit shabby and tired but don't be put off. The staff are really friendly and make you feel at ease especially when its sometimes quite personal !

I will be trying the skin rejuvenation next as well.

The fantastic thing about Natura Skin Clinic is that all treatments are carried out by a doctor. I'm apprehensive about going to beauty clinics for treatments of this nature because I really think it's important to have medical reassurance. Dr Xavier is hugely experienced and the whole experience was totally positive. I would definitely go back for further face and body treatments such as Botox. I mean, why put yourself in the hands of anyone less these days? I also found the team really friendly. I've recommended Natura to loads of friends!!!

I had laser hair removal at the Snowberry Lane clinic around 2004/5. I was ASSURED this was a revolutionary treatment and I would be amazed with the results. I was quoted that I would need at least 7-10 treatments costing around £1000 and if I needed any touch up after that it was sold to me like they would be included in my payment. After completing the painful course of treatments I had MINIMAL results and was then told I would need a lot more treatments starting again from £1000!!!!!!!! After a few months and now you cannot tell I ever had ANY treatment done at all. I highly recommend avoiding this treatment or have ONE session first as a tester and go from there. DO NOT sign up for a large number of treatment and DO NOT believe the sales talk. Look into Laser Hair removal independently before committing to anything. You have been warned! After no results there was nothing I could do except look at the whole in my bank account and I was NEVER followed up by the surgery!

I haven't finish all my laser hair removal treatments, therefore I can not rate the full experience, but I have to say that I am very happy with my terapist and with the clinic.
After having an extremely bad experience at a different clinic, I can now realise this.
I would recommend Skinovate for their treatments and friendly staff.

The place is a bit tricky to find as it is in a small alley, but the central location is a bonus. The place itself is nice, clean, and the staff are nice and knowledgeable. I went for a patch test and have so far had one session of hair removal with Soprano, and I do think i've seen a bit of hair loss after the first one. I am looking forward to my upcoming session to see if I can get rid of all the hair :) would recommend!

I signed up for a course of 3 laser hair removal treatments at the Canary Wharf branch and have had two bad experiences which is not a very good hit rate!

Issue 1:

I first went in for a consultation in October, pointed out all the areas I wanted treated and was consequently billed for a course of 3 treatments for all treatment areas. I had my first session soon after followed by a second session in November (4 weeks later). Everything went off fine (more or less, I'll come to it under issue 2), but I ended up taking break before the third treatment as I was getting married, going on holiday etc. I had my third treatment last week and as I went in I was told they were running late but I decided to wait in the seating area. I was called in soon after and the therapist asked me to remind her what my treatment areas were. I did exactly that, as per the areas treated previously, and she turned around and told me that's not what I had paid for. She said I had paid for a chin treatment but now I was pointing at the jawline as well. I said to her that I had pointed out this area
during consultation, paid thereafter and that this area was treated in my two prior appointments (one off which was with her!). She said maybe they had done it since they had more time then but she was busy that day and couldn't do it. That's not the point at all. If I mention certain areas in a consultation, you round up a grand total accordingly, and consequently have treated it on two occasions, I really can't be expected to believe that I haven't paid for it. They were running late on the day and she was just trying to cut corners, strange because she spent ten minutes literally yelling at me about I hadn't paid for it and she wasn't going to do it. It would have been quicker to do the 2-3 extra inches that were required. She was also very quick to say that I could speak with her manager, though conveniently she was not in!

Issue 2:

At my first treatment in October, I mentioned repeatedly that I was getting married in December and would like a second session before that. I was told that was no problem and the therapist (the same one actually) herself found me a slot in November. When I showed up in November, there was another therapist who said that they could not treat the body areas as it had not been 6 weeks and that was the requirement. I couldn't argue with this, but was shocked that the previous therapist had booked me in the first place! Again, I was given the managers email address but I never received a reply to my email.

Makes you wonder when they can't be trusted over a few inches of area for a laser treatment (anyone who has had one knows how little that is!) and also when they don't really listen even when they know you are making a special effort for an occasion like a wedding!

I came to Court House Clinics on a friends recommendation and haven't looked back since! I had 6 sessions of laser hair removal for my bikini line, and I am ecstatic with my results – no more hair growth!! The quality of service is fantastic, the knowledge of staff is abundant and I am very satisfied with my experience with the Court House Clinics. See you again very soon

I have just lost 2st 9lbs on their fantastic Alizonne weight loss program! I have enjoyed having the support of the doctor and the therapists through out this proccess thank you court house clinics I will never look back from this. Whilst in clinic I saw their claims about pain-free laser hair removal they even gave me a free trial patch to test their claims! I have now bought a package which worked out to 40% cheaper with their current offer!

Staff are very friendly and out me at ease about the treatment. The therapist asked a lot of questions during my patch test to check the treatment was right with me. I'm happy with the results also.

The place is great and the staff very welcoming. I am 100% satisfied with the treatment and would recommend it to anyone.

My experience with this Clinic has been very positive. I love the place, it is in central London close to where I work, they said that the laser they use on my skin is the latest technology and indeed it must be as the results have been great. It surprised me that I could pay for the 60% offer in instalments. The only thing that could have been better is to put a sign indicating where to go once you go inside, I did not know that is was on the first floor.

Previously, I received face-laser treatment from this clinic. They are always rude, unconsidered, unfriendly. They tell you that they have cancelled your appointment just one night before your appointment, which you can not do anything at that time. Additionally, you can never complain about their services once they take your money, as they do not have a refund policy. Last but not least, be careful about your time when you are served by them as they can steal your treatment time if a new customer has come up at the time you are being served. They have a policy which says “A new customer is always more valuable than those in hand.”

I bought the 6 session package for a Hollywood laser hair removal with the Soprano XL laser.

I rang up and made an appointment for a patch test and was given an appointment for a day/time that was convenient for me.

The instructions to get to the clinic were very clear. I probably wouldn't have found it otherwise!

The premise is very small, but clean. When I went in for the initial patch test, I filled out a form. I wasn't sure whether my skin type was 2/3, so Kate (my beauty therapist) told me I was a 3.

She took me downstairs and expained in detail what the process would be like, what to expect and how to prepare before your treatments. Kate also explained about the Soprano laser, the heat settings etc. She also gave me a sheet with more info about the treatment.

The patch test was done on my underarm. Kate shaved it for me and applied lots of gel. I was then given some protective glasses to wear.

The laser heats up to 20. Kate used 15. It was slightly uncomfortable. However, I was fine with that, because she said that the higher the setting, the better the results.

After the patch test, we went upstairs, and I made an appointment for the following week.

10 days after the patch test, nearly every hair had fallen out! Very impressd and skin was super smooth!

I shaved before the treatment. Gel was applied eveywhere and Kate went up to 17! Ouch! This laser can be painless, but it can take more treatments, so I just grit my teeth! When it got too much I said so and the heat was turned down.

It was over in about 10/15 mins-so very quick! I would say maybe less than half the hairs on my bikini area fell out. Although I'm not worried because apparently that is the hardest area for the hairs to fall out.

Very happy and Kate is very professional and made me feel comfortable. Oh and for those that break into a sweat whenever they get anxious (me!) there is a air con/fan right near the table which really helped when I asked for it to be turned on!

I booked 6 sessions of laser hair removal for my daughter with this clinic - they offered 2 areas to be treated. On her first visit we were informed that she could have the upper lip and underarms treated. On her last visit we were met by the owner who informed me that a mistake had been made by the first girl who booked my treatments and that she had actually had three areas treated. Therefore I would have to pay for the last treatment extra. She told me that the girl should have called her in after the 3rd treatment to see whether it was the right level of laser treatment for my daughter and to make sure it was working. She said the girl had made a lot of mistakes. I declined to pay extra for the final session. This clinic allowed an apparantly insufficiently trained person to perform laser treatment on my daughter (and many others as the owner stated to me) and the levels of treatment were not monitored and adjusted to suit her, it therefore was fairly ineffective and my money was totally wasted.

This email is in relation to the voucher for AM Beauty Saloon for IPL via LivingSocial

I previously Living Social about not being able to get through to the saloon to book my first appointment. After much trying, and no response to my email, livisng social advised me they had a phone line issue. I finally managed to get through to the saloon via phone and the person on the phone told me he couldn't help and that I should call back in an hour. I did and eventually booked a patch test for Sat 3:50pm.
However, their customer service and scheduling of appointments is a complete disaster and I am not happy with the level of service I received

I got there 20 mins early, I was asked to come back to the saloon in 20 mins. (They could have offered me a seat!). When I did return, I was asked to wait. 10 mins later the receptionist decides to go and check if I can be sent downstairs. She comes back in 5 mins and takes me downstairs, I am then asked to wait..another 20 mins later, a young girl comes to get me, I advise her I am not happy about the wait. She asks me if I would like to continue with the test???. I am then taken into a treatment room only to be advised that there is a wait for another 10-15 mins before my turn and that the room next door is where the patch test will take place.

50 mins later, the 5 min patch test was completed and I left feeling very upset and not confident that I would want to return.

Needless to say, this young lady and myself had enough time for me to tell her I was upset and not happy with the service considering if I was late, I would have had to miss my appointment. She seemed rather helpless and not able to do much about the situation. I also found out that she has been working there for less than three months and has two weeks training on IPL. Again not something that fills me with confidence considering its my face and body!

The place seems unsupervised, small/cramped and un-profressional. I would not advise anyone to go there for laser treatment or otherwise. There is no manager either that one could think of having a sensible discussion with.

Living Social need to vet companies they bring on board.

I had bought a voucher for 6 IPL treatments for Perfect line. I firstly got a patch test and this was fine and then started treatment . I had four visits roughly three months apart but when ever I phoned there was no answer and I was trying to get the course finished before my Wedding day the fitness first staff told me they hardly ever saw them there, so this was very frustrating. On each occasion I had a different person and they weren't aware of the levels they had used each time which made me feel nervous. I eventually managed to book in with a lovely gentlemen called Alistair whom was very professional but unfortunately left and too my dismay when I waited one morning for 1 hour for my appointment the manager came in and totally ignored me as I asked her where Alistair was! She got in a real huff and started moaning and without any apology to me who had already paid insinuated that I didn't have sessions which because I hadn't brought my receipt which made me fuming considering they had a record of me signing off every session. So I demanded to have my money back and she then calmed down. I explained that she had no right to treat me like that as I was a paying customer and it was down to her staff and her to keep accurate records. I only wished I'd pursued a refund and had nothing to do with the owner she is so rude! They not only cancelled my appointments and didn't explain why! (after being shut down for an inspection of some kind) but also packed up and left the premises again with no word to their clients. I had a mobile number for them and had made five telephone call's where the manager said she would call to arrange an appointment back after clearly telling me she is too busy setting up her business but i was wondering when she was going to tell me she had moved and with my owed sessions too! I'm currently trying to seek her new business address to confront her face to face. I think it's shameful she feels she can just take peoples money and not give them what they purchased!

I've started having laser hair removal treatments here 4 months ago and I've noticed a big difference after just 2 treatments I'm on my 3rd one now and its going really well i think 1 more and it should hopefully do it for me. the staff are really nice and the place is also very nice.

I have come to the end of my laser hair removal treatment. I am so glad to have had it done but am also glad that it is over. It's all about enjoying the results now and not being scared to wear a swimming costume and be free in summer to do what I want. My life starts now.

Highly recommended. Therapists are extremely friendly and highly trained so feel completely comfortable in their hands. v. clean and modern salon. use latest generation laser which is very effective and I have noticed a substantial reduction in hair re-growth after just 2 treatments (full legs and extended bikini)

My husband arranged for my treatment as a gift, I recently joined the gym with much success and started wearing dresses again after a 7 year gap (babies, house work, babies, husband & more house work). I wasn't to sure about it at first in truth I didn't know what to expect, my husband had been to the clinic and told me a little about it and we both visited the clinics web site which was very informative and helpful. The actual treatment wasn't to much trouble you just sit back with protective glasses on, it didn't hurt and was quite quick. The best thing about the experience was the helpful consultant, who was a doctor, he was very reassuring and understanding of my concerns. I just want to say thank you to the team at Maxi Medicare hopefully with my regular exercise and now hairless legs and arms I'll be wearing a nice elegant dress for my birthday instead of the jogging bottoms I had on last year.

Went to this place after I was not happy with my current laser place. I paid double at my last place with not good results. The treatment room therapist offered a cheaper price. She was very good and informative on all laser information given. She was very honest and did not guarantee the sessions I will need unlike my first laser place. I am paying £120 for my back and she takes a good hour to make sure everywhere is covered and shaved the areas I could not get to. She sold me Dermalogica products for my skin and told me what was not needed. I am impressed. Honest and a lady with integrity. I recommend The Treatment Room. I like your newly refurbished salon, has a clinical look.

I had visited AM Beauty earlier this week after purchasing a voucher for IPL treatment. I arrived at my exact appointment time and was rudely told by the receptionist to take a seat (she did not smile nor make proper eye contact). Only 15 minutes later did I find out from another customer in the waiting area that they were "delayed" due to another customer being 30 mins late. I ended up waiting a total of 50 minutes for my treatment. During this time, the receptionists (there were 3 in all) spent their time talking loudly to each other and one even walked around eating from a can of pringles.

Finally it came to my turn. It ended up not being the IPL treatment I had signed up for, but a patch test which cost an additional £20. They had informed me about this additional patch test when I had booked my appointment, and I expected it to be a full patch test similar to the ones I've had at other IPL saloons, i,e. they do a quick IPL treatment on the full area (usually each IPL session has 6 cycles done, and during a patch test only 1 cycle is done). However, to my shock all that was done was one simple zap on my skin and I was told to leave the room.

On top of that, the treatment room was dirty, with greyish looking towels strewn all over. On the floor lay a half used bag of IPL gel. When I entered, I was not told to lie down on the bed or get undressed while the lady left the room, but to simply "pull down your trousers so I can do you patch test".

All in all, it was in my view a terrible experience and a waste of money.

I have been going to this salon now for almost a year I originally bought a groupon offer, the dissatisfied customer on this site must be talking about another salon. I have always found this salon to be professional, very very friendly the facilities are excellent and the pricing is on par with the market place. The salon has never been cold at anytime always the opposite and the most I have ever had to wait is 10 mins as the client before me was running late. I have had both beauty treatments as well as laser hair removal and find the staff professional and experienced in their field. My wife has been visiting this salon alot longer than me and she says she would not go anywhere else as she has never come across people who care so much about what they do.

After doing a lot of research on different types of laser hair removal i went and booked with rejuven8 as they are the only clinic to do yag laser . I had a consultation with a wonderful friendly nurse who did a patch test. I have had just only three treatments of laser and there is bare minimum hair growth. I would highly recommend this treatment to everyone.

I went to Medispasalisbury for Laser Hair Removal on my eyebrows and it was definitely worth it. A bit uncomfortable at first but tolerable. Louise was great, she chatted all the time which really helped. Great service.

Ive suffered with unwanted hair for years. The consultation with Lisa really put me at my ease and I knew I was in safe hands. The facilities are superb and thye use only the best equipment and products.

After 6 treatments, my unwanted hair is a thing of the past and I would recommend Lisa and her clinic to anyone looking for the treatments that she offers.

i have has laser hair removal before and had one treatment at the clinic. the clinic itself is nice the staff are ok i didnt find them very friendly, i had one treatment, i called 10 days later as the hair had not fallen out and was left with patches all over my legs, the therapist would not offer me a refund or treat the missed patches. She was adamant it was normal!!!! waste of money, no customer satisfaction extremely disappointing!!

This is my visit to the clinic me and my friend both had an appointment. Its a small clinic but nicely laid out. there were two nurses, receptionist and staff were all very friendly and pleasant. offered us a drink and took me in on time, the nurse was very great, she explained about the treatment and asked for permission before taking some photos for my file before carrying my test patch. very informative. i felt very reassured and relaxed. answered all my questions. was not at all pushy to book in, would highly reccomend.

I went there for consultation, yet of course you can not just be consultated, it is expected that other services would be offered to you and your consultation costs you a bit. But of course nice things are not cheap and if you are doing this once in while is worth it going to a nica place like this

I'm not unfamiliar with the world of beauty treatments and spa experiences. I decided to take up a deal on groupon with this company. To begin with it was very difficult to make an appointment as the phone was rarely answered, and when they did they repeatedly told me to call back later. When I was finally able to make an appointment I was utterly disappointed. The staff were the rudest I've come across in a long time-and I'm familiar with the public as I work as a doctor. They shouted down the phone at me when I kept them on the phone asking for information, they implied that I wasn't intelligent, and to top it all off they put the phone down on me mid sentence. It is called a palace, but unfortunately is only masquerading-it is dingy, with poor customer service, attention to detail and the rudest staff I have ever had the misfortune to meet. Do not visit the pampering palace at any cost.

Extremely disappointed. I emailed the clinic in mid-Oct using the link provided on the Wahanda voucher to arrange an appointment but did not receive a response. A week later I emailed them again, this time using the "info@harleystreet-clinic.co.uk" email address from their website, but again no response. A week later I sent a 3rd email and again no response. I subsequently contacted Wahanda who advised me that they were experiencing issues with this supplier and were investigating. Wahanda have since issued me with a refund.

I was walking past one day on my way to the bus when a lady that worked from there gave me a treatment list while I waited. It looked very modern inside but warm and welcoming. I telephoned to make a booking and the man was very helpful over the phone and booked me in for a week later as I had been sunburnt on holidays for a chat about laser hair removal. The hair salon upstairs was busy and bustling but looked friendly and clean.Adi was my therapist and was very helpful and made me feel at ease with the whole laser process. I have had 2 treatments now and am seeing results which Im very pleased with. My only complaint is the last time I was leaving the young lady at the desk didn't remember who I was and had to ask my name twice while booking my next session and didn't remember my coat that had been put away. Other than this I would recommend to anyone wanting friendly professional service for laser in a modern bright facility.

I had a KGB voucher for 6 sessions of IPL. I went there for my first appointment and I was told I need to pay extra £20 for consultation and patch test which is necessary to proceed with the treatment. Eventhough it says on the website it is free. The lady wasn't very nice and I was surprised as usually I receive a very good service from this kind of places I went previously. Then we arranged my appointment in October and when I showed up at the clinic I was told they have moved. I was also given a mobile number but went straight to the voice mail saying that updated details will be on their website. Well, there was no new contact details, no one has informed me of my appointment being canceled and as of today I had no response from neither: the clinic or KGB trying to sort out this problem.
I think it was a scam by Perfect Line Clinic.

Signed up a package of 6 treatments of laser hair removal. Never had issues setting up or changing appointments. For my last appointment , I was running about half an hour late and they could accomodate me when I arrived. The staff is friendly and helpful.
The treatment itself is really quick and I think a little more time should be spent evaluating hair growth pattern and assess area that need more focus as hair growth is often uneven after the treatment.
I have seen a small reduction in the hair growth but not a big difference. Was worth a try though.

For ages i have always hated waxing and shaving - as most women can imagine. Shaving causes me ingrown hairs, and i can't bear the pain of waxing. I had a consultation with Gabi for laser hair removal - and i doubted her when she told me it would be pain free. I could not be more wrong. this treatment is amazing. the salon uses the Soprano laser - It does not hurt at all! i am having a course of treatments and even just after two sessions the results are amazing. Gabi explains the treatment process amazingly and her client care is brilliant. I have told all my friends and i would recommend everyone to invest in the soprano laser! x

I booked a set of 5 discounted laser hair removal treatments at Skinovate last August. Although the treatment has reduced the hair growth I would never go back to this clinic based on the customer service that I received.

At first they told me to shave 3 days before my appointment and one day I turned up and got told that I should have shaved 7 days before and that it should have been obvious to me to change from the 3 days to 7 days as the treatment progressed. I would expect them to inform me of this before the treatment rather than expecting me to figure it out for myself, particularly as the shaving period varies depending on the type of laser you use. Consequently, the treatment was not as effective as it could have been.

They did not properly cover all the areas that I had paid for and they definitely missed patches during the treatment - they seemed uncomfortable doing the bikini line. I complained and after a very long discussion they did offer to give me another appointment to go over the bits they missed. I accepted this and was very grateful, but then when I called in to change the appointment for a month later as I couldn't make the scheduled time (it was the first time I called in to do this during my treatment) the lady told me I couldn't - not because they were full in December but just because the appointment was a goodwill gesture and therefore I have lost my entitlement to change it. I didn't understand how it would inconvenience them to change the appointment to another time when they were free - partcularly as it was their fault that I needed the extra appointment in the first place.

Furthermore, they forgot to remove my make up before my upper lip treatment. Consequently, the laser left a red mark on my upper lip for about a month and this keeps flaring up several months later.

I did get a really good discount for the treatment but I felt like they gave me a lower level of customer service as a result; I was treated by 3 different people in the 5 times I went and the receptionist did not know how to provide a good customer service. I still need to do my bikini line as the 5 treatments were not sufficient and if the customer service was good I would have paid full prices to continue at Skinovate. However, I will not be continuing here and I wouldn't advise anybody to go to this clinic until they improve their client care.

The telephone they list on their website has a recorded message and the call is after it is played, automatically disconnected.

I have tried emailing and using their online form - several times with no response whatsoever.

I have now requested a refund from Wahanda and will make sure I leave reviews wherever I can so that other people don't get burned like I was.

My experience with Skin was awful. I called them at the end of September to arrange my apointment which is advertised as free patch test for laser hair removal. When I called, the lady put me on hold and after a few minutes was told that someone will call me back as they are too busy. I was told I will receive a call back within 5 minutes. 2 hours later I called them back and was advised that I need to pay for the test and if I arrive on time they will refund it?! Why should I pay for something that is free?! After thinking it through I was trying to book it online, but never received a reply or call back.
I deceided to go to a different place as I was shocked by how unfriendly the staff was!

Unfortunately I am not able to rate the event because I have never heard back from Wahanda/Harley Street Clinic since I sent my first, second and third e-mails over 3 weeks ago....
If you buy this voucher you have to book through their e-mail system because phone bookings are not allowed but unfortunately, they don't seem to reply...
Really disappointed about this and I have not heard back from Wahanda regarding this issue...

Real disappointment

Today 7th October 2011, I went for my scheduled appointment but she refused to see me as she claims she is moving. I was informed by a source they are doing a runner. I desperately urge everyone not to purchase any of their deals and make a report to the Police as they are scamming people out of money. I asked the manager to provide me with a relocation address but was unable to do so!!! and she claims she will be setting up there in less than 2 weeks. FF have informed me that 6 people came for their appointments yesterday and two have lost over £600 they also reported it to the Police.

I had been going to another clinic for a while and thought I would try Accurate as they had the Candela Gentlemax machine - i have been really impressed by the results as well as receiving friendly care from the clinic at very competitive prices. I've also had a face peel that was fantastic. I know how tricky it is to find somewhere good and it was just nice to find somewhere clean, reliable and well priced with the kind of advice and attention that set my mind at rest. I recommend highly.

Had consultation with 'dr joy' 4 laser hair removal. She seemed more interested in selling me dermal fillers than listening 2 what I wanted. V aggressive sales technique - felt uncomfortable. Doubting her medical credentials left burnt & v bruised from taster session. Will never attend this clinic again mor reccomend to anyone eles. Seemed far more worried bout money than care & conduct. Have had ipl elsewhere & not suffered the same reaction nor treatment.

Permanent beauty are awesome. Been at least 8 times for laser hair removal, its definitely working albeit slower than I'd hoped, but there really is no super-quick fix for permanent results. The staff are without exception professional and lovely - laser removal on one's undercarriage can be really really embarassing, but they make it totally bearable and always put their client at ease. Highly recommended.

I went there to enquire about the laser hair removal treatments but left disappointed most of all with the over the top prices. With so many places offering laser hair removal in London, I didn´t feel convinced by the therapist that i SHOULD pay far above the going rates for their service. I felt that my valuable wasn’t important enough to offer special prices and discounts, so I left without booking.

my experince at the harley laser specialists was quite good actually, because the price was better then the rest at that time and treatment results were sucessfull, and the practitoner treated me was very nice to,

so i had no complaints and will recomend them.

My therapist (Lili) had a lovely relaxed yet professional manner and made my treatment a pleasant experience

Lovely modern and clean venue. Most staff were very friednly, helpfula nd informative as I've never had laser treatment before so was asking lots of questions! They advised well. One member at the reception wasn't as flexible as the others. I thought my vouchers were great value for money! Would definately go back. Easy to get to as well.

I have been going here since june for laser hair removal treatments using the soprano xl laser, ive seen really good results the therapists are really nice and very knowledgable. i would recommend to all.
Also there price is good compared to other old lasers at some clinics.

I spent ALOT of money over laser hair removal at CHC only to find it a complete waste of money & time! Hair has reduced in some places but no where near to the clearance I was told to expect by staff - whom changed their views quite quickly once they saw I was not happy with the outcome! I found the staff at CHC all told me different things - at times contradicting one another! The manager failed to book an appointment correctly and then had the cheek to blame me for getting it wrong! Would not recommend this place! Also the actual building itself isn't pleasant!!

Went there for a hair removal. They burnt my skin and promised me a refund the day after I informed them.
After a few months nothing yet.
The manager keeps asking for photos and keeps making excuses for not paying or delaying the payment.
Absolutely horrible place, they burnt my skin and instead of trying to avoid legal action they are playing games in order to save 200 pounds (so sad)

I bought a voucher from groupon for laser hair removal last year (2010). Booking the first consultation appointment was a nightmare. After that I was told that they were still recruiting laser therapists so most of the appointments were not yet available! In terms of the laser...on their website they claim to use ND Yag laser - which is not true. They use IPL on all the skin tones!

To add to all this, there have been 5 separate occasions where their laser machine has "BROKEN" so they have had to cancel all my appointments. They still have not managed to fix it for more than 2 months on each occasion and keep ignoring my phone calls.
I would never recommend this salon, it feels fake with rude staff members, especially at the full treatment price. They need to be STOPPED

I finally ended with asking for a refund for several reasons. The venue itself is just a room in the basement of a superdrug store, was kind of difficult to find it at the beginning. Then I thought that the machine is an old model comparing to others I've seen. But finally, I had troubles with my appointments. My first one was simply cancelled the same day and with my tough schedule I cannot afford to loose even one evening.

I strongly recommend Bodysmooth Surgery to anyone who wants to have successful results on laser treatments.I had wasted my time and money in several clinics before in London but luckily I've found this lovely and friendly place. My specialist Julia Anne was simply fantastic, very professional and helpful. I started seeing great results straight after my second visit at the clinic. Overall, a great experience !

I would recommend Cosme Doctor as the receptionists and the therapists are very friendly and professional. They send you a reminder of the day the treatment is due and I have been late on two seperate occassions and they have happily accomadated me in. I have had only 3 treatments on my underarms and I dont need to shave anymore as there is no more hair growth. I am more than pleased with the results.

I had IPL treatments for my underarms and the treatment was very quick and easy. It's value for money. Sometimes it's hard to get appointment, but overall the service is very good. It's inside Superdrug, so the ambience is not like salon.

I went to planet skin today and was really happy, I had a microdermabrasion and my eyebrows tinted and re-styled as they were uneven from another place before I went here, and now i think they look great! I never really write reviews but I wanted to let other people know about how I had such a great experience here. The lady on reception also gives out vouchers. It was the best facial I ever had and my eyebrows are so shaped it looks like I had some kind of botox! So happy as it's just what I wanted, the look PERFECT! Also had a free trial of the laser on half my armpit, they had a deal going and offer it free so took advantage of it. It didn't hurt much at all and am considering getting the course but wanted to see if it works or not!

The salon is like a typical beauty salon, not like other places which do laser treatment which can be quite clinical. The staff were very nice especially the lady who did my treatment. The treatment has been very effective with minimal hair growth. It was amazing value for money. I would highly recommend it.

DO NOT USE THIS CLINIC!!!!! The staff are rude, inexperienced and swear at customers. Tey leave the door open when you are naked on the bed awaiting treatment for anyone to see in if they walk past to use the toilets! The booking process was simple as it was over the phone and an email was sent confirming the details which was very useful. The only down-side was the clinics are every 2 weeks which was a little frustrating when I had to cancel my first patch test. However, for future sessions it does not matter as much.

Having 2 small facial areas treated so have to return every 4 weeks for the six week course of treatment. Not entirely pain-free but pain only lasts for a second or two. Most people describe it as an elastic band pinging against the skin and that is probably a good description.

I booked 5 sessions of laser hair removal from a discount website. I can see why this company is struggling to get clientele. The service was horrible from the receptionist to the actual treatment. I had my first test session and everything was fine but in between the test session and my first session the machine was broken and wasn't repaired for nearly 8 weeks! I wasn't even informed that 'the machine was broken and that their technician was coming to fix it next week.' So I showed up after travelling across town only to find out that I couldn't have my appointment.

When the machine was finally fixed I had my first session. The actual session went OK, but that therapist didn't explain what she was doing at the time. The hair grew back the very next day as though nothing had happened. In hindsight I believe that perhaps the machine wasn't actually fixed, but since I was asking for my money back they decided to conduct a session anyway! During my second session I had a totally different therapist she was friendly and explained what she was doing from the very beginning. She had a totally different approach to the first. I had successful hair removal that didn't grow back for weeks! The 3rd session was therapist number 1. She wasn't any better than before in demeanor, but proceeded to conduct the hair removal. It was successful, but I got a rash on my bikini line (which had never happened before).

At that point I figured I'd just finish my sessions and vow never to go back to that place again! So I was prepared to go to my next session. This time they actually called me in advance to say that once again 'the machine was broken and that their technician was coming to fix it next week.' I went away on holiday (no hair-free as hoped) but thinking I could come back and continue my sessions so that there wouldn't be too much interruption in my treatment (which affects the hair growth). I was just informed that the technician was on holiday and won't be able to fix the machine until next week some time. It has now been almost 2 months!!!

This place is rubbish. Don't waste your time or your money. I would NEVER go back to this place again and would NOT recommend it to anyone!!!

Customer service is the number one key to any business success and if you can't ensure that your service is up to scratch -you will lose your customers. Simple as that!

Only hesitation is that she has never had a treatment herself before so was unable to advise on how it would feel.

I have been going to medspa beauty clinic since they opened in 2009, it's situated next to Notting Hill Gate Station. I tried many treatments, one of my favourite is universal contour wrap and hydrafacial. Recently I have startted Soprano laser hair removal Brazilian and Underarms. The staff are very professional, clinic is very clean. They always have something nice and exciting like gift voucher for your birthday, loyalty cards... and the Prices are very keen too.

I booked a course of 6 laser treatments at Renew Medica Hampstead and I had a very bad experience. The staff kept changing, the receptionist was very unprofessional and repeatedly messed up my appointments, bikini area was done differently every time which I now have to correct elsehwere, and every clinic assistant gave me a different information. Don't book at renew medica!!!!

I really enjoyed the consultation regarding laser hair removal, it was very informative and put in an easy to understand terms. I had also a patch test which was conducted in a professional way. The therapist was very friendly and advised me how to take care of my skin. It was great!
