I came across this Dojo some time ago after deciding the class i was in wasn't for me. I called them up and got my free trial to test the waters.
I never finished my trial before i had decided that not only was the Art of Jujitsu was for me but the Dojo was perfect for what i was seeking. 5 Years on, i am still soaking every bit of knowledge out of every class i attend and still learn something new every time.
The Art is nothing without the right delivery, And both the Sensei and Sempai are excellent teachers with clear instruction and a very impressive knowledge of the Arts.
They are not syllabus monkeys that aim to grade you quickly either as another impressive and vastly overlooked point in this Dojo is the sheer variety of teachings. Most classes are split between a good chunk of syllabus training and non syllabus practical applications of techniques, and with Weapons training being thrown into the mix, it really does what it says on the tin, Develops complete Martial Artists.
Its not just for Adults either, the JR classes are also taught in the same way, just an easily digestible version with plenty of breaks for games etc so your kids stay in tune with the classes and keep focus throughout.
Whether you are looking to expand your Martial training in a vast and exciting new Art, fancy yourself a bit of a Bruce Lee then you should at least have a go of the trial, it is free so what are you losing?
Even if you are really not sure if the Arts are your thing, everyone there is very friendly and helpful, go along and surprise yourself.
