Check out all four hands massage reviews.
I really enjoyed the 4 hand massage although, it did feel a bit strange at times! The therapists were very attentive and asked if the pressure was ok on a number of times during the treatment. They were also able to feel which areas required deeper pressure etc. The only thing that lets this salon down is the size of the treatment room, which is tiny and the toilets which are outside of the salon and a bit cold! i would definately go back as the quality of the treatments is very good.
I am a freaky but in some way still conservative beauty and health victim.
So massages are most important to me and my beauty.
As shown in my rating it ways really a wonderful massage, I took the four hand massage and it was really a treat and so relaxing to have 4 hands moving in all ways around your body.
I had a great time and can recomment this treatment to everybody!
I bought this massage treatment for my sister. She enjoyed it but thought that it wasnt anything out of the ordinary as expected from webite. It was good for the voucher price but the therapist stopped abrupty at the end as she thought her boss was knocking on the door as time to finish which was an unrelaxing end.
Venue was small and not as expected from advert. Expected place to be more plush. Massage was good but nothing special and definitely wouldnt go back and pay full price for such a treatment.
Not the best of venues which is a shame considering the staff seem to be good at what they do. The four-hander was exactly what I needed and at the price offered it was good value for money.
Great place for couples massage and lovely therapists, price wise is cheaper then most places but again the premises are a bit small. Overall quality was very good and loved the herbal tea offer and slippers touch. recommended
I also wanted to try a four hands massage as I love my massages. Location is really easy to get and central. Before you go inside the salon you have to enter a touristy shop which looks a bit tacky from the front but don't let this put you off.
The room where the massage was done was basic but it was fine.
The 2 therapist tried to work in tandem but I think its quite hard to massage in synch and use the same pressure, as I found one therapist to use more pressure than the other. I just couldn't fully relax and didn't find it as great as I hoped a four hand massage would be.
I had the 4 Hands Massage, it was amazingly relaxing - easily the best massage I have ever had.
I'm a massage junkie, I've been to several different places, trying every style of massage and this is the best place in Brighton for a relaxation massage. The place is cool - atmosphere is warm and soothing. I didn't think it would be this good, the massage really blew me away.
this voucher was purchased as a gift for me. The therapist hardly spoke and looked like she just couldnt be bothered which made me feel uncomfortable as the idea is to feel relaxed but I was made to feel like I was an inconvenience on a cheap deal. Additionally, the place advrtises itself as being very plush but it is at the bottom of a little hairdressing salon and not pluch at all, It is in fact very limited for space. I definitely wouldnt return even for free!
Venue is very close to Queensway tube station (Central Line). Couldn't find it first time but did not realise they were in the basement. Venue is clean. Sinks and toilets are small as perhaps pumps are used to take waste off. Excellent massage as both worked incredibly fast. I thought at first one therapist would work at the back and shoulders and one therapist at the legs. But, one therapist would work on the left leg, the other therapist on the right leg, likewise for the back and shoulders. So, 4 hands on the legs, but quicker and with pressure than the conventional 2 hands.
Amazing massage and nice beauticians. I was able to pay the venue direct for a deal I had seen on Wahanda. Shame that they didn't have time for a manicure but the fish was really great as well
Great massage, I would reccommend a friend for great massage for a good sense of well being. I think the girls give a great service with the facility they have to work with. Staff were friendly but could be a little more welcoming. i.e enthusiastic hello or Hi! Warm smiles! Offer of a drink while you wait. But they were busy and I really enjoyed my massage so this is just a constructive critique.
My first 4 hand massgae. It was great and they used lots of oily for my hairy legs. Therapists asked frequently is pressure was OK andn if I was comfortable, that was nice and I must say four hands are better than 2.
I would recommned anyone should try this.
Thanks
Wade and Janet
About 10 minutes walk from Preston Hill tube, this venue is set back in a quiet residential area. I was seen by a pleasant, knowledgeable and friendly Ayurvedic doctor for a consultation, which started on time. He was interested and thorough. Following that I was invited into a treatment room, which was clean and tidy. I then had two treatments back to back: A full body 4 hands Ayurvedic massage followed by a 4 hands Rice Bag massage. The treatment was intense and excellent. Lots of warm oil used for the first massage, and then lots of hot oil used for the rice bags. It felt a little cold in the room sometimes, but I think this was because the oil was hot, and so, when there was a small break in the treatment (to turn over, or "refill" the oil for the bags) it felt cold by comparison. I cannot say that it was actually chilly in the room. I didn't mention this to the guys, I'm sure they would have addressed it if so - they were attentive to my needs throughout.
After the massage was over, I was invited to sit in an enclosed steam bath for a while which was superb. then I was left to shower and change. I did not feel rushed in any way.
Overall, a very good experience, with the treatments done with skill and conviction - pretty intense with the 2 practitioners at the same time! I was really into it, but you may consider the 2 hand version if you prefer a less intense massage? I will most likely return to this venue to try one of their other treatments/repeat this one.
If you are looking for the ultimate rejuvenation and maximise on time, then this is the treatment and venue. Great value for money, even without the voucher! Just be aware of the facilities, in the basement of a shop, and a bit tricky to find so give yourself time to find it.
Had the four hand massage. First time and fantastic experience, when you have as many knots as I have then this is a truly great way to attack them at the same time, and its great value for money! Not the best location but apart from that there's not much to fault.
Booked my Hen party at Little Jasmine’s Therapies and it was just amazing. We had the entire place to ourselves (10 of us) and have an array of different treatments from nails and facials to head back and shoulders massage. The treatments were very good and the therapists extremely professional. The establishment is slightly small but it makes up for cuteness, very clean and the price was just right, I defo recommend
We ve visited Little Jasmine Therapies with my partner last week. We haven’t had a booking but we were lucky enough to get a slot for a 90min couples Thai Fusion massage (their signature massage) and a four hand massage and facials. We usually get our treatments in Notting Hills Pacifica SPA or the Bliss SPA in Chelsea and are extremely satisfied with their service and obviously quite demanding as well.
Let’s start with our impression of the premises; their premises are slightly hidden away as they are located on the first and second floor of 53 Gardner Street, in North Laines a very busy and beautiful part of Brighton. The reception is small but decorated with gusto, the rooms are unusually big and cater for couples which we found exceptional.
Then room that we ve had had a unique Asian decor with wooden beams on the ceiling with drapes separating the two treatment areas (this is in case you have friends sharing the room and not feeling very comfortable).
Overall the premises are small but unique and have decorated efficiently throughout. The therapists are a mix of Asian born and European, the ones treated us where exceptionally well trained both on the treatments side but also in making you feel comfortable during and after the treatments. Prior to the session we were offered spa slippers and green tea while we were waiting. We are used to paying approximately £80-£100 for 60 min per person and so you can imagine e our surprise when our 90 min session at LJ’s costed us only £120 (bare in mind this is one of their most expensive treatments).
One final detail is the fact that the place is runned by its owners which makes all the difference in the world in terms of attentiveness and care for the customer. Thank you we will visit again.
I went along quite excited with the prospect of a two therapists massage for about 2 hours. The venue is clean and staff friendly. The massage consisted of an oil head massage which was great followed by the entire body. After this came the part new to me, the rice bag massage, this was unusual but had a great feeling of having done something good for your body afterwards. As this rice massage involves applying a herbal mix to the body it is followed by a hot shower leaving you fully refreshed! Only thing to note is the 3 hour rejuvenation package is approximately 2 hours of massage with the last hour for 30 mins consultation and 30mins shower time. Great value for money!
You never know who you will draw when you walk into a massage therapy studio. I heard that Janna Childs was a former massage therapist to Sheryl Crow and Paul Simon and Liz Phair and the Goo Goo Dolls etc etc but that meant nothing to me until I got on the table. It was deep. It was sublime. It was a bit of a blur at times. She had never met me but she told me things about myself that only I knew. She was able to clarify concerns that I had by speaking to my body and allowing it to tell it's story. It was trancework combined with deep tissue bodywork. It opened my heart and it had a happy ending...no...not that kind of happy ending! The kind of happy ending where I felt better about myself as a human and was ready to pass it on to my fellow humans.
This has the most stunning session and is really a totally lovely place. You need to be keen on the idea of ayurveda as the entire spa is run on its principles. Generally you see an ayurvedic doctor and your treatment plan comes out of that (although you can add on beauty treatments which are excellent).
The food is beyond fabulous - generally three or more courses but so perfectly balanced that you don't put on weight. You can even do a workshop with the chef to learn how to cook ayurveda-style at home.
Yoga is obviously a strong part of the ethos and classes are good (though not all teachers spoke English and so you might be a little limited in your choice of class if you're new and need instruction).
The pool is beautiful, so serene and the surroundings are stunning too. It's set amongst vineyards and you can walk up fromthe hotel through these or down into town and along the river - there is even a small icon museum in town.
Be warned. As you detox (no coffee or alcohol) you may get a stinking headache (but the staff will take pity and give you something for it if it gets really bad).
The massage treatments are fabulous - many are given 'four=handed'. Be aware that you will usually strip right off for these as a lot of oil is involved. Germans don't hold with undue modesty so you just get on with it! Therapists are lovely and you feel seriously cocooned and cossetted (but these aren't purely fancy 'rituals' - they have profound results).
Lectures and workshops are also included so you learn the theory behind ayurveda.
Just lovely....writing about it makes me feel a serious yearning to go again!
Nearly forgot. Downsides? Not many really. I did find the decor less inspiring than I'd hope, both in bedrooms and in downstairs areas such as lobby, restaurant etc.
I was recommended to the spa by a fellow professional and I was greeted by Joana the receptionist on all 3 visits with a lovely welcoming smile, she was a perfect person who recieved me warmly. Joana did her very best to answer all my questions in English as did Manuela who treated me on 2 of my visits. Manuela was the best of 4 therapist and she had a very genuine touch with massage.
Whilst this is not the place to address serious knots and tension in the back I did fall asleep during 2 of my massages. Relaxation is the key here and a typical Elemis spa where the emphasis is on serious relaxation, lying around in the relaxation room and quiet surroundings.
I was given a notebook to keep a nice touch and I particularly like all their stationary and the company logo
***** five stars for Joana !!
This was definitely the best part of my week in Morocco....I loved the whole hour of it, wish i had taken the 2 hour message. Well worth the money and more! was the best message I have had by far! I would recommend this spa to anyone who wants a message.
