Latest colonic therapy review
Spoke to Dr Maha and he said he would send email questionnaire etc.. it never arrived. Arriving at the address, it was not at all clear where the actual rooms were (3rd floor).... This was a building that was just done up but in no way did it feel like any type of clinic. I waited in reception where no one was there to greet me. I could hear staff talking - 5 mins later a man and woman arrived and did not seem clear as to what treatment I was there for, even though I had called in the morning to get my questionnaire.
The man eventually got my questionnaire on line and I completed this and he went on for a good while about the treatment.. He did go in-depth into the natural benefits but this was done with a very strong accent, so I was not 100% sure what he was talking about.
Eventually the lady Malah called me and took me into a room and gave me some paper knickers to wear - these did not fit at all.... would fit if you are size 8. She put them back into the cupboard (not in the bin)... concerned...
Massage was good for half an hour and the ten minute steam was in a shower unit that provided this facility.. Then I was escorted back to the treatment room, then the same man from reception came in with a bowl of liquid/oils and a large syringe. That was my colonic hydrotherapy... An ENEMA!!! I was left in the room to wait for nature to take its course.... Nothing more than what a couple of laxatives would do. I did not feel any different. I explained that to the man and he suggested I book a course of treatments! No thank you..
Quite frankly, this treatment was a total waste of money as this is something I could have done myself with a long tube and syringe.. I would definitely not recommend this to anyone. I was bitterly disappointed and would not go back... As for the follow up diet sheet he promised to send, well I am still waiting..
Overall, it was not a good experience and the customer service was not what you would expect. No names given unless I asked.. Don't waste your money, spend a little extra and go to a professional...
