NEVER EVER GO TO THIS SALON WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE AND THATS SAYING SOMETHING. had a cut an blow which should of been a simple layer cut through long hair .Looked like I had a bob and the length not blended at all as well as chunks missing. They would not admit it was a bad cut . I had to go to another salon Bobber on eaton road if your looking for somewhere good, there fixed it as best as possible but now left with much shorter hair . PLEASE TELL AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE TO STAY AWAY.

I am another who does not usually write reviews but after reading all the comments on here I thought I really needed to.

I went to Eclipse today on one of the Wowcher £19 deals. I was nervous having read all the reviews here and elsewhere but when I made the booking on the phone Alex sounded very polite and friendly. I turned up 10 mins early and was welcomed into the salon. Alex (the owner) looked at my hair before washing at my given appointment time and was very chatty and friendly as were the 2 other hairdressers. He washed and treated my hair and has given me a brilliant cut and blow dry which I am very happy with. To be honest my experience was totally opposite from all the negative comments on here and I would have no hesitation in going back (actually I will as he offered me a free fringe cut whenever I want). There were 3 other clients in there while I was there and they all left with smiles on their faces and happy with the service and their cuts (I was obviously observing everyone due to all the negative comments on here). One woman in  particular who had terrible damaged hair gave the young chap cutting her hair a really hard time but he smiled all the way through and at the end she left looking great and very happy and even came back to give a tip.To get a cut, condition and blow dry in central London you are looking at price from at least £40 upwards and considering my treatment at Eclipse only cost me £19 it was a total bargain and to be honest I would have been happy to have paid £40 for the service.

Lovely new salon run by an enthusiatic team. I came out feeling so much better than when I went in, Hair cut was brilliant by both Hairdressers that I have been seen by. Hot oil treatment for hands whilst hair was being cut was lovely( extra cost but worth it!) My Daughter has also had her hair cut here and the hairdresser was lovely with her, she cant wait to go back. Would highly recommend. :)

Very happy with my hair and excellent value with the voucher. Staff were very nice and the salon is nice and central. Atmosphere was nice and relaxing. Would like to go back soon!

The result of this visit was that I got a very good cut and one exactly that I asked for. I was in and out in 30minutes which seemed very quick and somehow detracted from the feeling of being looked after. The staff were very friendly here although I must have been called "Babe" about 7 times, which isn't exactly to my liking! Very central location.

I absolutely love 100% glamour, all the staff are brilliant - friendly and talented at what they do, I have moved further away from Glamour now and I still come to Glamour for all my beauty needs, they do everything you could ever want including massages, nails, waxing just to name a few which is brilliant as its all in the one place and even sell specially selected clothes, candles and general girly stuff, if you are ever in need of a pick me up just go to glamour and Justine and the girls will see you right as rain in no time!

This was a very relaxing day and very much worth the money. The treatments were amazing and the staff made you feel very relaxed. i was so worried about my eyebrows , i never had a threading before ,its was amazing the way girl shape my eyebrow. this is going to be my 4th visit in this salon ,i will recomend you to go there.

I would give 0 stars if I could, i got an absolutely awful haircut in here. It wasn't even cut evenly! Some bits were longer than others. Hair felt brittle afterwards and it was soft and healthy going in. Would never go back here

Visited in November 2011 to use my Groupon voucher - £44 for full head of highlights, hair cut and blow dry. The hair cut was VERY basic with no attention to my hair type. The foils were very 'blocky' and not well blended or natural looking. The staff were friendly and attentive, especially the trainee who washed my hair, but this was the only redeeming factor. Would not return even with another 70% off Groupon voucher.

Avoid at all cost. Great concept but worst customer service in London. Great when it first opened but as soon as they became a little successful arrogance took over and it was all down-hill from there... They double book clients, try to jam them in and ask them to wait for 30min or more on what is suppose to be an express service at the blow dry bar. The manager will make promises he will not keep and you will leave feeling like you wasted a morning and never got what you agreed to. Better go to any other salon in London. Try Nevilles, Harvey Nichols, Daniel Galvin, Daniel Galvin Jr, or any other salon. All you will find at Real Hair is bad service, arrogance, and un-apologetic staff. AVOID AT ALL COST.

Burlingtons & New ID London West End is a good place, the place in pleasant and the staff are good, I had a hairt cut and blow dry, overall I am satisfied with my visit.

“I think the concept is absolutely brilliant, so I could not have been more dissapointed when the service I received was not what I had been sold. I had ordered a makeover as a surprise for my partner and when I placed the order I was told adding a photo-shoot would cost no more money. I then went to pay over the phone and was told they required a deposit upfront, so I was quite confused when they then proceeded to take the full payment upfront on top of the deposit. I debated it but the guy on the phone couldn't really explain it and you could tell he was scripted. I was short for time so I just went along with it. Then on the day I met my partner at the studio's at the end of her session. I was then met by a guy at the studio called Marcel. I wanted to collect the photos and go but he told me that I was late and we needed to go through the photo's. I was confused as I was 15 minutes before the end time, I also didn't see why I couldn't just tell them what photos I wanted and go. However, Marcel said we would have to come back in 45 minutes and go through the photo's with a consultant. When I questioned this Marcel then started getting funny with me and pointed out that he had never had this issue with anybody else. I told him I wasn't happy with the way he was speaking to me and he said that if I continued to question this he would refuse me the pictures full stop. When we were seen, a lady went through a whole load of photo's (generally they were very good). We selected the ones we liked and then at the end it was revealed that when I was told it wouldn't cost any more to add the photo-shoot, what they really meant was they wouldn't charge to take the photo's and they would give one free photo but any other photo's selected would cost £50 EACH !! I bought a few but raised a formal complaint. When the photo's arrived they were on very low grade photo paper and sent in a flimsy folder. As such the photo's were creased and buckled. I called to complain about that and ask for them to be re-sent and I was assured somebody would call me back about my complaint but nobody did. I called twice and both times nobody bothered. When I eventually received a call I was promised a refund and the photo’s received along with a soft copy on disk. None of this materialised so I escalated to a lady called Saika, who I was told was the head of customer relations and requested compensation in the form of the full photo file on disk or by email. But she said they had already re-sent the prints and a disk with the four photo’s on and had refunded me. None of this materialised and when I mentioned that, she just ignored me. They just don’t care. I really recommend avoiding these guys as do many people if you search the web. I had booked a pamper party for my sister's birthday party for a group of four of us to go on a friday afternoon. I had called the owner to confirm that all four of us would like to attend two weeks in advance and she said that we would each need to pay an extra 10 pounds in order for her to close the salon and to hire enough additional staff to ensure all four of us would be seen. I confirmed this twice with her on the phone and also a confirmational email.

On the day of my sister's birthday 2 hours before we were due to arrive the manager calls me up and says that they would be unable for us to be seen today with absolutely no apology made up front without further persuasion. I asked what else could they do after letting us down for the pamper party and their response was a simple, 'you'll have to get a refund!' After much discussion and several phone calls later I asked if we could all just get our hair cut and styled as we were going out for the evening. The owner said that as I was causing her to be stressed by the way I was speaking to her despite me politely requesting for a hair cut each and decided that she was too stressed to do it now. My sister also made a tearful phone call to the manager pleading to be seen that day as it was part of the whole birthday celebration and they refused as their self-employed beautician was engaged elsewhere. This beautician was booked in advance for two weeks and decided not to show up.

We ended up having to go to the local salon at last minute notice to get our hair done and spent the afternoon doing our own nails. Wahanda gave an immediate refund and have been no problem but under no circumstances would I ever recommend this salon unless you like disappointment.

Have had a series of different treatments at Sabio hair and beauty, an all over color with highlights including a cut and blow dry with Danny and a facial with Abby and spray tan. The service Sabio provides is outstanding and excellent customer service. Absolutely love my hair thanks to Danny, he was so friendly and enthusiastic about what he does and my hair is exactly what i wanted if not better!!!! the following week was so happy with the service i booked in for a facial with Abby the beauty therapist again so pleased with the treatment very relaxing and skin has most definitely never felt better had great advice on which products should be using and excellent aftercare to follow the treatment.I have now booked for a months time as cant get enough!!!!spray tanning booth is a wonderful experience very clean and hygienic danny showed me to the room and told me everything i needed to do and had plenty of time for all my questions, and the machine did the rest so easy and quick highly recommend as feels light on skin and happy to go out after having been sprayed. overall im so happy with the service given by all the staff at sabio hair and beauty would highly recommend anyone to visit them as you wont be disappointed!!!

I was booked in with Jessie however I was told upon arrival that Jade would have been my stylist. What a pleasant surprise! She listened to my requirements and gave me an amazing haircut and finish. The Moroccan Oil Treatment was also great and ended upi buying a bottle to continue the treament at home. Definitely well recommended!

This had to be my worst haircut experience, by far, ever. My dry hair was shampooed (unnecessarily) twice. It was then brushed with a tangleteeze until I thought my head would bleed. Lots of hair in the TT at the end of the brush through – has the hairdresser never been told you are meant to start near the ends? I use a TT each day without issue and nearly had to ask if I could do it myself. Even once “brushed through” it was still full of knots as she was combing it out to cut – probably something to do with how roughly it was shampooed, as if it was the dirtiest hair in the world (washed the day before). Head and hair then pulled, vigorously sidetoside whilst drying with lots of hair coming out. I felt like a child having her hair brushed ready for plaiting before school – and felt like crying. No amount of face pulling and wincing altered the approach. And I only wanted a trim – which was £36!!! I should have gone to RUSH which was only £10 cheaper but what a difference between them. Needless to say I won’t be returning. I have only given one star because actually the cut is not that bad – although having said exactly what I wanted I was then asked how I would like my fringe cut…you are supposed to be the “experts” and I would object to telling you how to do your job even if the price was the advertised price, not an inflated one. They only cut the bottom off and cut my fringe, left the layers as I was growing it out although to be honest I think this was just laziness as all they could be bothered to talk about was the Queen’s visit. Whilst my hair was being dried at the front the cord kept smacking me in the face (no notice taken by the assistant) and 7 times I was hit above the ear with the end of the dryer (the end that sucks in air). It was a horrible, painful and unpleasant experience. DON’T GO.

This was my first time at the salon and it was a gift. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and was delighted with the result. Jessie was very professional, knowledgeable and gave me a lot of tips on how to treat my hair and keep it looking good. The Moroccan Oil massage was brilliant, the products used delightful. I definitely will recommend the salon and Jessie. As for myself I will most definitely return. The other members of staff were equally nice and courteous.

Visited Bling Cosmetics,Willenhall Saturday 12th May 2012 and never again !!!! I had asked for 1/2 head of highlights ( red ),to my horror when the lady removed my foils my natural brown hair was bleached white , then lady then joked about this and said everything was going to be ok and i would have red high lights ,then suggested she was going to put a further red colour on the bleach and everything was going to be fine and i would have the red highlights that i had asked her for. When she removed the foils my hair was left PINK and she just said " it's a lovely colour " it probably would be if my name was Barbie . Also my Daughter was left with brown dye down her new blouse which was thrown away as i could not remove the dye . TO EVERYONE THAT READS THIS REVIEW STAY AWAY LIKE THE PLAGUE !!!!!!

I have had several haircuts and styles from Tammie and have always been impressed with the results. The staff are very friendly and easy to chat with. If you live in the area I definitely recommend this place!

Pre-Christmas cut at Smith's was the mission - & to relax after a hectic day of gift shopping! More than happy with the result, particularly the softly waved blow dry. Overall, the enthusiasm and fun in the salon atmosphere was a joy too. Hollie Rose was my stylist and if I worked closer to the West End then I'm sure I'd definitely be asking her for regular re-bookings.

I had a Brazillian Blowdry at this salon, my hair looked great when I came out of the salon, but i was a bit dissapointed after washing and drying my hair myself as I felt that I was back to straightening it again with straighteners, although i have to say it is not so much work as normal styling, I think I was expecting more from this blowdry.

However really nice owner and other staff member and made to feel welcolme, both girls lovely and I can see that they will get repeat business as chatty and friendly with clients, I would go back again for other treatments

I bought a voucher for a Brazilian Blow Dry as a birthday treat for my daughter so this review is her experience and not mine. She was told at the salon that she needed to use a special shampoo that was 'sulphate free' after treatment (she didn't know this before) and that if she didn't then they couldn't 'guarantee' the treatment. So not wanting to waste the process she decided that she would buy the right shampoo from them before she left. At the end she asked about the shampoo, was shown a couple of the brands they stock but they couldn't sell her the right shampoo as they didn't have any in stock. She searched online for advice re shampoo to buy and many sites said the shampoo had to be 'salt free'. Rather confusing. Not helped by the fact most shampoos have 'Sodium Laureth Sulphate' as a major ingredient. Even some organic shampoos have sodium/salt in them so she found a sulphate free shampoo with no added salt as her best bet. Treatment is supposed to be formaldehyde free but there were times the fumes were pretty strong and made her eyes water. A month later her hair is straighter then it was before but she still has to iron it smooth.
Although the facilities were good, she found the atmosphere a bit snooty, like having a discount voucher was not quite as good as being a 'proper' customer' and she says she probably wouldn't go out of her way to go back again. She still thanked me though:) Tip: remember to get yourself the right shampoo beforehand. Hope that helps.

I went to the salon Czaro in the West End, off Oxford Street. The salon is very nice , clean and trendy. The hairdress was very good and she knew what she was doing. I have very long and thick hair, she gave me some advice on what traitement I need and discount for my next visit. At work everyone said she had done a remarquable work. The hair cut was very nice and very fashionable. Just one thing I was very pleased is she cut quite a lot of my hair.But it was worth it (only paid £20.00) and I was very satisfied at the end. They also offered me a hot drink. I definitly recommend this salon.

I went for cut and Morrocan oil treatment in May 2012. I was offered a choice of drinks on arrival which was very nice. Hairdresser Jesse cut my hair and I like it. I like the fact that he had an opinion when I asked him. The overall is experience is quite good and location is very central.

Very disappointed with my visit for a cut, conditioning and blow dry. The lift was grubby and the waiting room was dirty, piles of hair all over the floor. I was kept waiting for an hour and, though the receptionist was friendly and brought me a coffee, when the stylist, Jodie, came to call me through, she didn’t even apologise for the long wait! Things didn’t get any better when I went through to the salon – the previous customer’s hair and part finished drink were still on the shelf by the mirror. The stylist was the most non-communicative hairdresser I have ever been to. She never smiled or made conversation; it seemed she couldn’t get me out of the door quickly enough. I was left with water dripping from my hair whilst she went off, no towel round me so I had to ask for one. I had a nylon gown but very loosely tied so, when my hair was being cut, it went all inside my jumper. At the end, she made no attempt to brush it away and just left me covered with hairs. I had to ask the receptionist for a brush. I then made the mistake of asking to use the ladies before I left. It was disgusting! The floor was filthy, no hook for a coat and just generally dirty. I couldn’t get out of the place quick enough. Needless to say, I won’t be going back.

My local Saks is in leamington and i was disappointed with the location of the one in solihull as it was within the David LLoyd fitness complex and the club could really do with sm maintainence and a revamp. However i was impressed with the salon it was clean and well equipted. staff were friendly knowledgable and attentive.

Just got back from Fordham, William was cutting my hair - I'm so happy with the result and this saloon I have to write feedback. I went there wanting to make some change to my hair but had no idea exactly what I wanted. William first listened to what I had to say, I shown him a haircut I thought would suit me, but he kindly explained why he wouldn't recommend it. Then he told me his ideas asked what I thought about them and together we decided on what would be the best for me. Supernice, very professional and I would highly recommend him and the saloon. I used to be scared of hairdresser ruining my hair to the point that I wouldn't have haircut for over a year, but having found William I will definitely go back. THANK YOU!

AMAZING!! I had a cut and a blow dry on a late night as I was going out with friends and wanted something a bit special, I was given advice on what would suit me but most importantly they listened to what I wanted. I was given a layered cut as I have long hair with the most amazing blow dry I have ever had.

The salon its self is very glamours, something you would expect from the west end! The staff were friendly and made me feel very comfortable, nothing was to much.

I will be going back for my colour very soon :-)

If i could put 0 stars, I would. NEVER GO TO HEADMASTERS BATH!!!!!!!!!!

I have lived in Bath all my life, and while at school and 6th form i went a few times to have a haircut, it was fine, my hair was pretty standard, mid length so just a trim and a few layers. I have been at uni for a few years and am now back in Bath working, earning money so thought i'd get some highlights and smarten my hair up a bit.

I have been to this salon quite a few times and at first they did summer lights, these looked nice and i was happy to carry on returning, I still get student discount so it was FAIRLY reasonable if not a bit on the expensive side.

HOWEVER, the last two times i have been (don't even ask why I went back more than once - i thought i could trust them after the amount of times i went) but OMG they RUINED my hair!!!!!!

1. They said they would do a half head of highlights instead of summer lights to make it a bit lighter- it went a vile dishwater, copper blonde colour. The sort of colour your hair goes if you use a cheap home dye kit when you're 14 with your friends. DIsgusting!!!
I had to go back, they assured me it was just that my hair was thin etc, and they rectified it - actually the manager herself did my hair.

2. I went back the next time to have a further half head of highlights to freshen up what I had already. I gave them the benefit of the doubt as everyone can make mistakes and all hair is different.
I brought along some photo's from a hair magazine to be EXTRA sure we knew precicely what was going to be done. Something along the lines of classic Jennifer Anniston natural caramel type highlights.
They put bleach highlights through my hair (half head). It went platinum blonde ALL OVER....but, and this is the worst part, it was DARK brown (my natural colour) in the underneath section.
Furthermore my hair was left in HORRENDOUS condition, so bad that when i brushed it bits of my hair were snapping off.

SO, after 10 days, I went back and they managed to rectify to some extent what had been done. The manager did my hair again and they did a complimentary treatment.

This said, ok they did make what was a disgusting and quite frankly embarassing mistake look better for free, but the hair itself in the first place cost £100!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (that's including the cut, and the 'styling charge' they add on to EVERY colour you have which is at least an extra £20!!!)

I'm sorry, but for this to happen twice is just unacceptable. Yes, they rectified it for free, but it was truly shocking the state of my hair - the highlights were about 2cm down from the crown of my head, the front colour was jagged where the foils had been placed unevenly and my hair was in TERRIBLE condition.
The issue I have, is that I am now left with extremely damaged, dry, broken almost dead looking hair, a colour I did not want and £100 poorer.

For someone to do your hair wrong once i can forgive, but the stylists here clearly have NO IDEA what they are doing whatsoever!! Why would i want to put my hair through two sets of peroxide in one WEEK let alone 8 weeks for that matter.

Avoid this salon for hair appointments at all costs! Had an awful experience- my hair was caught in curly brush for 4 hours. My long hair is snapped and ruined, was devestated.

Dean is a very good hairdresser and I have been really pleased with my cut. I would definitely go there again and would also recommend him to my friends. Please should definitely check out this offer!

As this was my second trip in New ID West End, I thought it would be nice to go back.
I came alone on my first visit & was overall good, so I though I should tery to come again. I decided to book with friend on my second visit but the experience didn't live up to my expectations! Though the stylist introduced himself, he was a bit unsincere. I wasn't offered a drink though the voucher said a welcome drink is included, I wasn't properly protected with a towel while I was being shampooed hence, my top was slightly wet! I even have to ask for a towel afterwards to dry myself! All this time, I wasn't still offered a drink while my friend had. I told him what style I wanted but it wasn't spot on , its just a simple layered cut.
I was a bit let down by that second visit, I could have said something to him but do I need to ask for a towel when a customer is dripping badly? Do I need to reiterate a style when it is easily understood? I guess I need to re-think of going there again.

i WAS GREETED WITH FRIENDLY STAFF AND HAD AN OVERALL LOVELY EXPERIENCE WHEN I HAD MY HAIR WASHED CUT AND BLOW DRIED. COFFEE WAS OFFERED TWICE AND MY HAIR WAS GORGEOUS.

This was my second treatment here and yet again everything was spot on despite changing my appointment numerous times the staff could not be more accommodating and I felt at ease and enjoyed my treatment. The girl who washed my hair was fantastic, giving me a wonderful head massage that almost put me to seat and my stylist was chatty, friendly but most of all thorough. I left with squeaky clean hair and a spring in my step. Wholeheartedly recommend.

On a Friday morning, a last minute change of plans for the evening meant I was in desperate need of a good blow dry.

I found the voucher for Hush Hair on Wahanda, already knowing they boasted a blow dry service, and I had been meaning to try this for a while. I was lucky to get an appointment for that lunchtime.

Working in Birmingham city centre for the past few years means I have tried many of the local salons. None quite have the chic atmosphere that Hush have from the moment you step through the door.

The Salon felt very plush and the staff who greeted me were extremely friendly. Other local salons are rushed, impersonal, and the assistants are unprofessional. However I have nothing negative to say about any of the staff I saw that day.

I was offered a drink soon after the assistant taking my coat and showing me to a seat. As I was skipping lunch, and it was a drizzly day, I was quite impressed to receive a coffee-shop worthy mug of hot chocolate (as opposed to poorly made tea/squash that I usually get).

I received a relaxing hair wash with a quick massage incorporated.

I then took my place with James, who was to give me my blow dry. He was very friendly and professional, and understanding of the fact I was on my lunch break.

As they had already won me over, I informed James I regularly get my hair coloured at a very local (expensive) salon, but would quite like to switch to having this work done from Hush instead.

James was very modest about the array of services Hush offer, and I liked that he was relaxed about discussing these rather than taking a pushy tone (as per the other salons!).

I left with an absolutely amazing big and bouncy curly blow dry. My hair is fairly thick and long, and I was pleased to be back at my desk within the hour. I actually received compliments on my hair from strangers on my walk back to the office, and later that evening on my hair colour because the blow dry really improved the condition and tone of my hair.

I was very impressed with the service and general ambience of this salon, and will be switching all my har services to Hush. Given that I have a lot of hair work done throughout the year, I am pleased to have found Hush and recommend it to anyone looking for amazing results, at a convenient location, with a friendly personalised service.

I chose the Icon makeover with New ID. At first it seemed really expensive at two hundred and fifty pounds but when you think about it, with the Icon you get five free 5 x 7 branded prints that would normally cost fifty pound each so you are already ahead of the game and then you also get a hair cut and a hair colour. I have wanted to go platinum blonde for ages and this for me was a very economical way of doing it. So five prints and a hair colour and a hair cut that I pay seventy pounds for normally, and the makeup and the photo session, when you look at it that way you start to see that it is not expensive at all, in fact it is a complete bargain! I loved the hair colour they did for me, it was fantastic, in fact the whole thing was brilliant. The standard of hair dressing is way beyond what I expected. I was totally happy with the makeup despite the fact that they do put quite a lot on so it is not bleached out by the lighting in the photo studio. I loved the atmosphere and of course the free drinks. I was at the salon for six hours which is quite a long time, I was expecting four hours,, and they don’t serve food so take some snacks with you, especially if you are having a hair colour as well as a cut, you might get a bit peckish and if you are like me the Bucks Fizz will go to your head!
All in all I would say the Icon package is excellent value for money and you wont overspend because the prints are included.

The salon is in a great location - only minutes from Oxford tube station. The staff were friendly and efficient and overall I was very happy with finished cut. Will definately go back.

Luca Salon has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and great customer service. I had a wash, cut and blow dry with Max and I was really happy with the outcome. During my consultation he listened to what I asked and he showed me different styles that would suit me and how much he would take off the ends and what length the layers would be. The finish and cut was great and stress-free and my hair looks great. Max blow dried and straightened my hair into exactly the style I wanted.

The staff were really friendly and welcoming. My stylist was extremely helpful and listened to what I asked for, providing some suggestions herself. I will definitely be returning for future treatments and want this to be my regular salon.

For longer than I would like to admit I completely avoided hair salons. A run of bad cuts and scissor-happy stylists made me wary of taking my tresses anywhere near another salon. But after at least two years of trying to grow my hair only to have the shafts split around shoulder length I knew that if I ever wanted to have the long mane I was dreaming of then I needed to change tack and start caring for my hair properly. Which is where this wonderful salon comes in.

The stylist I had on my first visit is my new hair guru; every 7-8 weeks she grills me about my current care routine, recommends techniques and tricks for taming and styling my curls and best of all she completely understands my long-hair lust and through a slow and steady process of trims and treatments is helping me grow the healthiest head of hair I've ever had. For reasons that escape me, I tried at least three other salons in the town before taking my stressed locks to GA. I wish I'd gone to them first; in the last 4 months since I started having regular appointments my hair has noticeably grown, split ends are minimal and I've learnt a lot about proper haircare.

I'm so delighted with every visit that I always book my next appointment before I leave; instead of chasing discounts and deals with any old salon I have officially adopted GA as my hair haven and won't be going anywhere else.

Took up an offer of cut&blow dry, but really not worth the journey - pretty standard service and result.

I got my haircut for the first time at Burlingtons. I have had so many compliments about my cut I had it cut shorter then ever before. It has totally transformed me. I am 6 months pregnant, so a new change was what I neeed. I am very happy with my haircut.

I had a voucher that stated 'Half head of foils plus a cut and blowdry' I questioned her on this, and told her that it doesn't state this anywhere on the voucher. She told me,' it may not say its on there, but that's the way it is'. I pulled out my voucher and said it doesn't say anything about that on the voucher, and that you can't just add on terms and conditions that arnt already on the voucher. She just shrugged her shoulders. I refused to pay more, so just got the one shade of foils . She didn't have any sort of friendly chatter with me and spoke to her college in another language, which I found rude. She gave me a pile of magazines to read only once she'd finished doing my foils. All the magazines were out of date. She only left my foils in for about 20mins, before ruching to take them out. When she was washing my hair, she got water all down my top and back. She's didn't apologise, but just gave me a new gown. Then when she blow dried my hair she just took it upon herself to do massive curls. I walked out of the salon with embarrassingly huge boofy hair. It was like Farrah facet from the 70s. I looked terrible. I had to try and flatten it out as soon as I left. I noticed when I got home, that the foils on my hairline near my ear show a distinct straight line. Not blended in evenly at all. I've had many similar offers with groupon hair deals, and always had a positive experience. But this salon, and in particular this hairdresser was terrible!! I can't remember her name, but she was a short, slim brunette, possibly french. Don't go there! One last thing. I felt that the salon hadn't quite an outdated early 90s feel. Needs updating

I totally loved New ID it was such a great time I had there when I had my makeover, I just wish so much that the pictures were more affordable because I really wanted to buy more than I did but at fifty pounds for the smallest one and five times more than that for the big one you would need a mortgage to get all of the ones that you wanted. You have to see though that even though that is a gripe it does tell you how good the pictures are because if they were not good then I would not be bothered about the fact that I could not buy every last single one of them, I am going to save up so hard for the next year or so, I want to go back and do it all again and then walk out with handfuls of amazing pictures. I hand on heart have never ever looked anywhere near as good on a picture before and it was quite a jaw dropping moment when I saw how amazing I looked, I had no idea that the pictures were going to be that great and I could not stop staring at them. The boost to my confidence has been incredible and I know I will be going back to New ID time and time again.

Enjoyed my visit to Burlingtons in Manchester. Hair cut and blow with conditioning treatments was excellent and I would go again. Combined with shopping in Manchester made a nice day out! Staff and salon very nice.

I had a very nice and enjoyable time, the stylist talked to me before my cut and blow dry , i had a hot drink and then discussed my treatment, it was very friendly and all the staff were nice and it had comfortable surroundings most enjoyable and i would return again.

This was for my first time at this hairdressers and I have to say it was a total disaster from start to finish. I can say with total conviction that it is the worse salon in Leeds. I had the misfortune to book in for a haircut and highlights with Jade. I asked for my dark hair to be made to look lighter for summer. Despite having booked in for a longer appointment I was told there wasn't enough time to lighten all my hair but she would add lighter tones to my hair; and it was up to me what colours I wanted to go for. I said I hated the dark colour right now, and most definately didn't want red..............so I ended up with black hair with a hint of red. The best thing was when it was dried and I saidd it was the wrong colour the sylist next to me started laughing and whispering abut me to his client. When I complained I was told that I wouldn't see the lighter tones in daylight, and that she could only make my hair darker. I said I was unhappy paying for a colour I hated, and asked to see the manager when she refused to budge on the price. I was told to stand on the steps out of everyones way....and after waiting for some time, only to find no manager bothered to come I walked out. Disgusting service, disgusting salon, terrible stylist.

I had been to this venue before and liked it. I just had a wash and blowdry ahead of an appointment later in the day but it was very well done and I felt great afterwards despite the deluge of rain! Would definitely go again with any offers.

Totally big thumbs up to New ID from me. I had a wonderful makeover with them and loved every last second of it and every last bit of it too, ok well the bit where I maxed out my credit card on the totally amazing photos might not have been the best decision I ever made in my life but despite my resolve to only buy one and get the free one I now have nine coming and one big bill to pay off but I had no idea how totally awesome the pictures were going to be and I just had to have more than two I am afraid. I am going to go back to New ID to get a makeup lesson, I was that impressed with how they did the makeup and while I was there, another lady was having a makeup lesson and she said it was fantastic and she learnt a lot from it. I am getting married later on in the year so I am going to take my brides maids along and then who knows, maybe we can do our own makeup for the wedding and not have to pay somebody else to do it for us, or if we still can’t do it then it is going to be New ID 100% who do it for us. If you are, like I was, a bit scared of makeover because of the photo shoot then don’t be, you are going to love it, they make it really easy for you and you really do not need any kind of modeling experience to look every bit as good as a professional model, I can vouch for that. New ID is totally brilliant and I cant wait to pay off my credit card so I can go back and do it all over again.

I really enjoyed my blow dry at hands, my hairdresser Jne Jne discussed my requirements beforehand and I had the most blissful head massage at the basin, I wanted to fall asleep. I can not remember my hair treatment that is why I gave it a 4 and not a 5 as it may have been at the basin I can not say for sure!! I am happy to give it a 4 though as Jne Jne definitely used a Moroccan Oil product on my hair so I feel like I had wonderful value for money.
The facilities are great and I love their attention to detail from the cups with lips to the funky till at the front, I was 100% satisfied.

The haircut was great, the hairdresser listened to what I wanted to get done and she blow dried my hair nicely. Definetly worth the voucher and I would go back if they offered the treatment again.

The young lad who cut my hair was pleasant and chatty but the haircut wasnt good. The blowdry was terrible and I couldnt wait to get home to sort my hair out. It definitely wasnt a good cut and I wouldnt go back again.

Went to get my hair cut this Today quite disappointed with the service I explained how I wished my hair restyled all she did was trim my hair and no one noticed even my BF couldn't tell the difference !!! Very bad I feel like i wasted my money choosing XS I am sure every a barber round the corner who doesn't hold a degree in hairdressing could have done a better job. Very bad cut WILL NEVER RECOMMEND any one !!!!!

Really nice place and really pleased with the cut. Stylist seemed to really know what I wanted despite me not having been there before. Will definitely be making a return visit.

Finally managed to book this in after complaining to the Manager about being booked in on Easter Sunday.

Turned up on Sunday and felt like a lower class citizen, there were 2 guys and a girl working and the guy I spoke to was very dismissive and I never got an apology from anyone there about what happened, even when I phoned up to complain no one said sorry they just said they didn't knwo why it happened.

Towards the end of the treatment the salon was closing and very quiet and I could hear the two guys whispering about me and laughing - very indiscreetly. The girl who actually did the treatement was very nice. When I left the other guys there (whether a manager or not I'm not sure) were no where to be seen and I was not offered the compensatory shampoo I was promised for being messed around.

All in all felt like just another west end salon with their heads up their a**.

I decided to give this a shot as the offer was drink, wash, cut, blowdry and conditioning treatment. It was good for 18 quid but I wouldn't pay the full price which around 40 quid.

I wasn't offered a drink until about 30 minutes in as I think the hairdresser may have forgotten and bless him, seem very tired. He was very good though. Place itself was alright, had the sense it was struggling to make money, hence the offer. For the prices that they normally charge I was expecting it to be more stylish/ lavish.

The owner took a personal call, on mobile, while we were waiting so I wasn't impressed with that as it shows lack of respect for customer. I think practically every customer there was there as a result of the offer.

On the whole, my hairdresser was great- took the time to talk to me, consultant with me but the place needs a revamp and the prices are too expensive for the economy we are living in now.

My visit here was the worst visit to the hairdressers i have ever had!

I am a very laid back person and i have had mobile hairdressers come to my house I am not fussy on the lavish hairdressing experience... but this was awful.

I arrived at the salon greeted by the receptionist... cup of coffee offfered.. i thought 'yes this is nice'. Salon was well lit, bright and airy.

I was then called by my stylist to the seat for a ''consultation''. It was a 18 year old girl asking in a droning voice 'what you want done?'

During my 45 minutes in the salon 4 of the staff were running about putting treatments on each others hair, sitting by the sinks chatting about the weekend and how drunk they are going to get tonight.

In this time there was about 3 people that came into the salon , not to get their hair done but to chat with the 4 members of staff that were playing with each others hair.

After all of this, my cut was awful and i had to go to another salon to get it fixed.

I know this offer was cheap but the experience i had to endure was not worth it!

Good location, easy to find. Staff very pleasant and professional. I was seen on time, happy with the haircut, had a bit of a chat with the stylist to agree what we'll do and she also made some suggestions about the lenght to keep the hair healthy and about the care product it could benefit from. I would use them again.

very good value for money, nice surrounding male hairdresser very nice and easy to talk to, very good styling advice highly recommend, Hairdressers name was aaron. I also had a bucks fizz on arrival and I never had to wait long for my wash, cut and blow dry (even though I was 15mins early)

Not the best ambience and be warned - you have to use the Debenhams public loos, as there are none in the hair salon itself. The hairdresser was really friendly and took the time to find the right hair colour for me. The haircut could have been better as I felt that she didn't take as much time on this as I would have liked, but overall I was happy with the service.

Having not been able to find the venue first of all I was quite flustered on arrival as I don't like being late but the stylist who met me at reception made me feel at ease and that I had nothing to worry about which really relaxed me because she could obviously see I was flustered.

The salon itself was very sophisticated, clean, tidy and welcoming. Everyone was busy and other clients were happy and relaxed which is always good to see when you are about to have your hair done. I loved the fact not only was there a complimentary drink but it was refilled too! I did not expect that I just thought it was the one drink.

My stylist was amazing because she really listened to me and advised me on what to do with my fringe for example because she knew what would suit me and knew what GOOD looked like. She was also very complimentary and because she knew what would suit my face I completely trusted her suggestions for the cut I wanted. I went into the salon feeling rather low because my hair just was not sitting right and came away feeling amazing. Not only did my stylist and I that know she did a great job but another client also commented on how good my hair looked!! I was very lucky to have Nalan as my stylist so if you get the chance book her please do too!! A great experience and I will go again. x

I went here for quite a big makeover, from really long layered hair to a shoulder length straight haircut. The hairdresser was very nice and friendly and I am very pleased with the result! Definitely worth a try.

I had my hair done before Christmas party. I made a booking only like 1 week before and I had time that suit me. The services was exicilent. I was offered a drink. It took an hour and I was very happy with the result. The location is very close to city centre. Defo. will go again. Thank you.

The final result of my haircut was great - and the blow dry was perfect!
I did however feel it took far too long! And had I had something booked for later, I would have been much more frustrated. I arrived at 1pm (my appointment was at 1:15pm) and I was there till 3:30pm. The conditioning treatment they put after washing stayed on my hair for almost 45 mins (which they should have told me it would take that long) however becuase they had over 4 people booked in around the same time, and only 2 therapists, me being put to the side for that long, gave them time to deal with other clients. I am not a fan AT ALL of double bookings

Central Glasgow location. Large Clean Salon. Very friendy & experienced staff. Used Aveda products that smelt amazing. Definately saw a big change in my hair immediately and my Hair Stylit had 11 yrs experience and she did an amaing job with the blow dry. Will definately be going back.

I have naturally curly hair and I always let it grow too long between cuts, I went to this salon and asked for an appointment with someone who does curly hair and they booked me in. went back next day fot my appointment and was greeted warmly, the stylist was very friendly and sweet and we talked about what I wanted for a cut, just something to revitalise my curls, nothing drastic. She did a great job, did exactly what I asked for and I'm pretty happy with the whole experience.
The salon itself is gorgeous with a homey feel and I felt tottaly welcomed from the second I walked in, everyone else working there seemed to be pleasent as well... IT CAME OUT GREAT !!!

Great central location in a new trendy hairdressers which a young crowd making it and me feel hip and with it. The receptionist gave a friendly and warm welcome and without a wait I was taken straight for my wash and got a lovely relaxing head massage as well. I like my hair very straight and they did a lovely job which last 5 days. Will definately return, good job.

I had an awful experience at Martanne Hairdressers. I don't often get my hair colored professionally in a salon as it is over priced and I know I can do a better job myself! I thought I would treat myself though and go to the salon, when I got there staff seemed really lovely and the red colour put on my hair by a trainee came out really well however when I got home and next washed my hair all the colour came out and has gone a ginger colour. I phoned up to complain straight away, however the staff did not want to know. I left my name and number with one of the girls over the phone and they said the manager would call me the next day however I received no call. I left it a few days then tried to call again, this time I did not even get through so left my name and number on the answer phone expecting a call but once again did not hear anything. Eventually I decided to go down to the salon in person as I had been waiting over a week for them to call me back, when I got there I had to wait over 15 minutes for the manager to see me and when she did I found her very rude, mid-conversation she got up and walked away then another lady came over and told me the reason the colour had not stayed on my hair was because it was in such bad condition so there was nothing they could do. Surely if it was in that much of a bad condition then they should never have coloured it in the first place. The salon refused to give me any money back or do anything to sort it out.

I booked my appointment via email which was fairly straight-forward but some to-ing and fro-ing over voucher codes and dates meant that it wasn't as fuss-free as it could have been. The salon is situated just north of the incredibly trendy Covent Garden and the outside of the salon has a nice homely look, with wooden frames and a nice typeface for the signage. However, it is next door to a pub so you might have to walk through a crowd of smokers to get to the front door (hardly the salons fault but still bleugh!)

You can tell the inside of the salon looked nice once upon a time but it's in desperate need of a lick of paint these days - not too untidy but could definitely use some work. The music is a nice mixture, although it's a little too loud at points.

When I sit down in my chair, I'm immediately offered a menu of teas, which is a really nice touch. The hairdresser really takes his time to explain to me why he's cutting my hair a certain way, why he's using a certain product and what technique he is using to dry my hair so, as a result, I leave with a haircut I'm really happy with and a few hints and tips as well.

The Moroccan oil treatment I have to condition my hair smells amazing and leaves my hair super shiny as well.

All in all, I would recommend this salon.

Believe me if you are in two minds about getting a photo shoot and makeover session with New ID all you have to do is take a look at their website and have a little click on the before and after photos and if that does not convince you then take mine and very other person that has had such a good time they have come on here and other sites to vouch for what a great experience this is. I loved being at New ID and I have every intention of going back for more of the same. New ID are proving a great way to make you look and feel totally amazing and I want more of it. I think it is one of those things that you could get totally addicted to and I can’t wait to go back for round two.
I have never really had much of a clue about what to do with my hair. I am one of those people that finds photos in a magazine of my hair in a way that would be impossible for even the most talented hairdresser to achieve. At New ID it is totally different. They sit down with you and look at your hair and the shape of your face and suggest styles to you that are achievable and more importantly that you will be able to manage on your own. There is nothing worse than walking out of a salon with amazing hair that you can no nothing what so ever with the next day. Here you will walk away with a style that suits you, is manageable and a few weeks later you will be the proud owner of some fantastic pictures that are a constant reminder of how incredible you can look. Its great.

Hi ive just got back from having my full hair colour and cut and blow done. The stylist Vicky was really helpful in advising me what i needed and im really pleased with the outcome. I felt lovely when i come out. the only thing was when i got home i looked at my hairline and got the shock of my life! because she had not wiped the skin around my head or face or ears and all the dye was all over me, apart from this i would go back again, Thanks vicky

My third visit and second time with Jamie. As usual, I highly recommend this salon and friends whom I have sent are all very happy with the result as well. Please don't ever change anything staff wise - keep them happy and never let them leave...!

My second visit to Bloom for a moroccan oil treatment and blow dry. Very small but cute and clean salon. Had the same hair dresser who was very polite and accomodating. Would not hesitate to recommend.

I bought a kgb voucher for £14 said it was worth £50, oil treatment cut and blow, what a load of rubbish so glad i never paid £50,got my hair washed water very slow heating up then oil applyed put under a very hot drier which was uncomforable, then the stylist? hacked my hair, dried it with a quick blow and said is that alright, no products aplied , flat to my head told her no, nothing like what i asked for she replied im not use to doing your hair told her i can do better my self she said she was sorry and i walked out cryed when i got home then asked my sister-inlaw to fix it. wont ever go back and certainly wont recommend

I called and booked Max for my haircut however when I arrived Max did some kind of consultation with me establishing what I wanted before then handing me over to a colleague and explaining what I wanted instead of just including her from the start. A strange ineffecient Chinese whispers ensued where I then had to explain once again what I wanted from my hair cut.

I am not precious about my hair. Got lots of it and it grows fast so was not too upset after the haircut. Although it is the worst haircut I have ever had. I was in and out of the salon in 45 minutes, including my double consultation talk, wash and head massage and then a cut and blow dry. I am used to hairdressers taking the time to cut the hair instead the actual hair cut was done in few minutes and more time was spent blowdrying it into a style.

A week later I can see how bad the cut is, uneven and unflattering. I would not recommend this salon, they might be better when they spent more time on each customer's haircut and one person does the consultation and the cut.

Luca salon seems to be a lottery, they have good and bad days but is it worth the gamble if you end up with an eternal bad hair day?

had a good experiance ,was well looked after ,felt that i was listened to in the consultation given great advice and tips,i knew my stylist was was highly experianced as soon as she began ,i felt confident throughout.i really felt special when i left the salon and will be getting my hair done there in the future.

Lavinia's would be my first choice every time. I used to go to her when she had her salon in Bath and then followed her to her current salon, even though it was a 60 mile round trip. Lavinia is a brilliant hairdresser and I wouldnt trust anyone else to cut my hair!

My friend and I had the most amazing time at New ID having a makeover. We both came into a bit of money and spent a week working out how to treat ourselves. Then a friend suggested this idea and we both immediately thought it was the best idea ever. We spent the weekend before we went on a shopping spree to get some new outfits for the occasion. We had such a great time and then poured over the before and after photos, over a bottle of wine, dreaming about our new looks. The big day arrived and we got to the salon at around ten am to a wonderfully warm welcome from the staff. We had a sit down over a glass of Bucks Fizz and showed the lady our outfits and got our heads together to plan what we wanted to look like. To be honest we wanted a pretty casual look, we are both pretty casual girls and wanted some nice fresh pictures of ourselves for our respective houses.
We both got a great hair cut, nothing too dramatic but the standard of the cut for both of us was exceptional. We then had our makeup done and they did pretty much what we asked for, just fresh and natural using earthy tones, we were both really happy with what they did for us. We had a few more glasses of plonk before we stepped out in front of the camera where we had so much fun, it was so easy, we thought that with our total lack of experience in front of a professional photographer it would be really hard but he made it like a walk in the park for us.
We thought it would be a total nightmare to choose the pictures but it was fine, we had such a lot of fun and loved every aspect of our day at New ID.

I haven't even managed to get here yet after having my brazillian blow dry booked twice!

I turned up for my appointment last month 5 mins late due to stuck in traffic to be told I was too late to have my treatment... so has to re book it for no less than another month's time as they had no slots the rest of March and go on the long journey back home.

I turned up for my appointment today (Easter Sunday which I did find odd they were open but was given sun 8th April) waited half an hour and no one was at the salon. Needless to say back on the hour train journey again...

This salon needs a new receptionist and better customer service.

Friendly staff and great service I would definitely go there again. I was treated really well and I was very happy with the haircut and blow dry. It was very good value.

My hair looks like it’s been cut by a two year old. If you have shorter than shoulder length hair and want it styled do not go here, a bad haircut is one thing, but bad short haircut takes it to the next level. I can’t describe how bad it is – even after having a discussion about what I wanted, this was completely ignored; obviously don’t know how to actually cut hair. I was also made to feel like the stylist just wanted to get off home as it was near the end of the day.

I feel like going back and showing them a picture of me when my hair was cut short by a competent trained stylist and it looked great! I am growing it though and have now been set back a year because I'm going to have to get it cut shorter again to sort it out.

Blooms is a fantastic hair salon, they have recently had a facelift to include an extra basin and some stream lined facilities. It is a rather small spot but you will only notice that when you are waiting to be seen (if you arrive early, like I did as they are punctual and do not keep you waiting).
The service was efficient and quick, I left with squeaky clean hair, blow dried to perfect and looking the picture of health. My one slightly negative view was that the treatment could have been left on for a few minutes more to get a even more deeper results but as my hair is still shiny and clean 3 days later, I guess I can not really complain!

I purchased a £23 groupon for a full head of highlights, restyle, wella conditioning treatment and glass of bubbly on arrival. I received NONE of these!!!!!
I was already apprenhensive about going to this salon due to its horrible location and cheap looking sign on the outside. When arriving, there were several women sitting on the window sill waiting for appointments, with one girl with foils in her hair which i automatically thought was strange!
I arrived for a 1pm appointment and didn't get seen until atleast 1:30pm and there was no apology for the wait. No glass of bubbly was offered.
The girl asked me if I had purchased a full head of highlights which I replied yes. Usually when i go to a proper salon it takes at least 1 hour to foil my hair. It took her 15 minutes at the most! I have roots through most of my hair still, she put about 2 highlights through the bottom of my hair. She covered the top of my head but didn't even go anywhere near my scalp so I still have 1 cm roots now!
After having my highlights done, they asked me to sit back on the windown sill where I waited for another hour! In all fairness, the hairdresser came to check on my hair a couple of times.
After an hour, a very young girl washed my hair in the basin, however she was clearly very inexperienced and actually left conditioner in my hair. I did not receive a wella conditioning treatment, nor the toner that she promised at the beginning.
After another 15 minutes, I was called over for my cut, to which I said I would like a trim.The girl literally trimmed the bottom of my hair in about 10 seconds. She blowdried it using her hand and straighened whilst my hair was still wet! Leaving it feeling dry and it still felt greasy due to the conditioner not being washed off properly!
When leaving the salon, there were many customers still waiting, who had been there for an hour or more!
All in all, this was a truely hurrendous experience! I will never recommend anyone to visit this salon.

Absolutely loved my pamper experience at Escape. The staff were all so lovely and friendly and made me feel very welcome. The blow-dry and conditioning treatment were lush and the fake tan finished the day perfectly. I will definitely be returning here and recommend them very highly!

I went to The Workshop to have a half head of highlights. I called up beforehand to find out how much it cost. I was asked how long my hair was (just below shoulder level) and was told it would be £68.00

When I arrived, I was asked how many colours I would like. Normally I have 3, so picked 3. I normally have a toner put on afterwards and was told this was fine. I was asked if I would like my hair rough dried or blow dried. I asked for a blowdry. The hairdresser asked me if he could trim the middle inch of my fringe to soften it, so I said yes.

When I went to pay it was £167. I was flabbergasted. I was so shocked, and I felt embarrassed to ask why it cost so much. I couldn't stop thinking about how I had been absolutely fleeced and my friends said I was mad to let it go, so I called up to get a breakdown of the charge.

The extras: The third colour, bringing the cost of the highlights to £97.50. The toner was £35 - both of which I have never been charged extra for in the decades I have been having my hair coloured. I was charged £35 for the blowdry!!! Isn't this standard when you get your hair cut or coloured.

I was also told that they had done a complimentary fringe trim which completely infuriated me. The hairdresser ASKED if he could do this, and he cut the middle inch of it, which I would hardly class as a fringe trim. I'm surprised they didn't charge me for the samples they gave me when I left too.

At no point in my visit did they explain the things they were asking me if I wanted would be an extra charge. I assumed they were included in the price I was quoted as standard in every other salon I've been to. While I'm happy with the job, it's certainly no better than any other salon I've been to and certainly doesn't justify the extra £100.

I'm feel really cross. I really like to try and help local businesses, but unfortunately I feel as though they completely conned me and I won't be going back.

I purchased a Brazilian Blowdry deal through one of the special deal websites and I'm usually quite dubious as to the quality of service I will receive and this unease was further escalated when I called to book my appointment. The Salon owner who I believe is Nigerian or Ghanaian, had the poorest Telephone manner ever and was vague and unresponsive when I asked him questions about my appointment.

Membis is situated in a small salon on Tooting High Street and provide Ladies Hairdressing for mainly Afro hair, there are also a number of Male clients for the Barber services provided.

When I arrived for my weekday appointment I was greeted by David who was a young French African stylist from Paris. He was very pleasant and chatty and I was offered a drink during my treatment, which I always think is a good service point.

I began to feel relaxed as it was obvious David knew what he was doing and even the Salon owner seemed different, perhaps he just isn't too good on the phone.

David began by washing my hair and I was most impressed by the Salon chair at the sink, which provided a full back massage. The Brazilian product was then applied to my hair and I was surprised he saturated my hair with the product, whereas a previous salon were very mean with their product and I was left less than happy. After application the product was left in my hair for around 20 minutes after which my hair was then blow dried and tonged to a poker straight condition. I think I was then left to sit for a further 10 minutes.

My hair was then washed again and a conditioning treatment applied and left for 5-10 minutes. David then dried and styled (again I was impressed that David applied plastic ear guards to my ears prior to Tonging) I also had a trim which was included in the price and David took great care with the trimming. I think he is a perfectionist.

My hair was left silky and soft at the end and I could see the treatment had been done properly this time as opposed to the other Salon I'd previously had a Brazilian at. The Stylist David is an asset to Membis, friendly and personable and I would definitely have this treatment done again at providing it's done by David.

me and my partner went to the virgin active health club/headlines at the end of march 2012 after i had purcased a spa day for 2 inc afternoon tea. we had an absolutely fantastic day feeling very relaxed from the moment we steped through the door the headlines staff were absolutely fantastic and very attentive towls were provided by the gym but no robes unfortunately. i had a facial and back neck and shoulder massage and my partner had a full body massage we were both very happy as the therapists were fantasticthe pool ws very quiet as it was a saturday morning but the jacquizi was broken so we were a little disappointed we broke our day up by going for the afetrnoon tea in the raddison this was superb and definately worth its money i also had my hair blow dried in the salon the hair stylist was very good. i would definately recommend this as it ws a perfect day

The salon is easy to find and very convenient for the West End. The stylist who saw me was really friendly and made me feel very relaxed. I felt that she was quite busy though and rushed through my haircut (cutting off much more than the inch I requested!). I was then passed to a different stylist who did the blow dry, which may have been a blessing as it was one of the best blow drys I have ever had. I would return, but would perhaps go for an earlier appointment when the salon is less busy.

I was really impressed with the New ID crew when I went for a makeover and photo shoot with them last month. My friend put me on to the idea of going, I have just split up with my long term boyfriend and she thinks that it is time for me to get back onto the dating scene and thought I could A. do with a bit of a lift before I embark on something that I find to be pretty intimidating, and also she thought that it would be a good idea to get some professional photos to use on dating online sites, I was never going to do that but I could not see any harm in going along and getting a bit fat boost to my ego. I was a little shocked to see how affordable this was to do, I had it in my mind, for no real reason, that it would be really expensive but it was so affordable I could hardly believe it would be for real. My ex is a lawyer so I am very good at going through the fine print of anything and I had a very good look at all of the information on the website before I made up my mind to go but having gone through it with a fine tooth comb I have to say that there was nothing off putting at all and it really is what it says it is.
I arrived at the salon to a very warm welcome and really enjoyed having my hair and makeup done by the very friendly team of professionals that I met at the salon. The salon was very busy but it was great fun. I was there for about five hours and met lots of interesting people and discovered that I am not the camera shy person that I thought I was!
I got a lot out of New ID and hope that anybody that is unsure if they want to go or not will read this, go along and have as much fun as I did.

Interesting interpretation of "please leave it long and wavy as it is, just cut of what needs to be done, I'm not very adventurous with my hair". The hairdresser (Danni) showed me how much she was planning to cut off - about 3 cm - and I agreed. Maybe I shouldn't have risked reading my magazine, because she then proceeded wildly chopping away at it, at least that's what she must have been doing since I now look like I've been attacked by a lawnmower. There are randomly short strands of hair, no transitions, no regularity, nothing.

I guess they did an okay job with styling if you're planning to look like a female cast member of 'The Only Way is Essex'. They interpreted "natural beachy wavy" as a poof as only Snookie from the Jersey Shore can pull it off.

Maybe I should get myself a stripper name to go with my look! I would strongly recommed to stay away from the place.

Extremely happy with my haircut. The salon is easy to find, about 5 min walk from Oxford street tube on a quiet street. Inside the place looks recently decorated and is pleasant and tidy. Staff very frienly and accommodating. My coat was taken and a seat offered with a magazine and a drink immediately. The stylist, William, spoke to me about my hair and what I want in detail and made some useful suggestions. He took his time and I am very happy with the cut. Nice Redken products used. Also received some vouchers for highligts, etc. Great place - I will come back.

Always wanted to try this salon as I live locally so delighted to see when there is an offer. My hairdresser Harley is very patient and professional. Although I was late for about 10 minutes and she knew I had a Wahanda voucher, there's no feeling being rushed around. The whole haircut and blow dry lasted over an hour. Excellent value for money and in fact I booked another appointment to go back soon.

Have been going here for around 4 years now, very good hairdressers indeed. I got sick of going to hairdressers and being very specific about what I wanted, but leaving with something completely different. These guys really actually listen to what you want and then just do it, working with you throughout - they know my hair and my preferences so well now (I change it drastically quite a lot and am very fussy) that I wouldn't dare go anywhere else now. Plus they look after you really well - there's a garden you can have a ciggy and a glass of wine or tea in while you're waiting for something to set or dye to take, and loads of good, up to date magazines - though I always chat so much with them that I don't need to read to kill the time! Great place, and good value too. Lovely staff. Would DEFINITELY recommend. :)

My haircut from Czaro was great! I quite liked that the salon was located a few minutes away from Oxford Circus tube station as it was convenient for me to get to. I was greeted with a smile and warm welcome. The premises were small but clean, the service was good and the atmosphere was friendly.

The lady cutting my hair, Lydia, was clearly very experienced. She was careful to consult me on exactly what I wanted before she did anything to my hair and checked half way through to make sure I was okay with the length. I told her that I was worried about getting it cut too short, so it was nice of her to reassure me that she hadn’t taken too much off!

The haircut was finished with a lovely blow-dry, exactly how I wanted it – I looked like a completely different person when I left the salon and felt great!

If I had to make one minor negative comment it would be that the toilets could do with a bit of sprucing up, but other than that, this is one haircut experience that I cannot fault! I will definitely be going back.

I thoroughly enjoyed being pampered by lovely, warm and friendly staff. The salon is easy to find, easy to park and even though my subsequent visits wont be using a wahanda deal to keep costs down I will certainly be back. The cut and conditioning treatment i had was just how i wanted it , so all in all I can safely say 'I'm a happy customer' :)

I discovered Fordham Soho totally by chance by googling in search of an affordable place where to have a haircut. I found out about their special offers and discounts and I called to book an appointment. I was really lucky to find them, what a great experience! I must confess that I usually don't enjoy going to hair salons - I just don't spend too much time on my hair - but this was a first!

Everybody was really kind and nice and made me feel very comfortable. Luke is a superb professional and I loved his work (art?) with my hair, and his pieces of advice, not to mention how patient and nice he was. I met Sean, Luke and Colin and they all treated me like a queen, being a 1st time customer I felt as if I was an old one. They also welcome you with a free drink of choice in the reception area, which also feels great :)

Honestly have never had a worse esperience at a salon. Was booked in to have a colour, then told I couldn't have that, and my hair was bleached instead. Was supposed to have a deep conditioning treatment but was in and out of the washing area within 5 minutes. I then asked could I have a "rough dry", I was told by the person doing my hair that she actually preferred to do a blow dry, against my wishes. My hair was white blonde at the roots, with a terrible yellow line around my head, which the staff told me to go home and put "silver shampoo" on. The massive yellow patches ensured that I couldn't leave the house without a hat on! Rang back up to get a correction and experienced very bad customer service, with the owner telling me it was my fault and hanging up the phone. Fortunately I went to another salon who corrected it but this was a very distressing experience for me and wouldn't want anyone else to go through what I did!

I (pre-Dappa) had extremely long hair - a result of both laziness and a severe recent lack of funds - so I had around 4 inches off, and some long layers styled in. Thankfully, the hairdresser wasn't snap happy and checked the length with me carefully before making the first cut, and I was really pleased with the result. A really quirky little place with friendly hairdressers, plenty of tea and coffee and a nice atmosphere. I would happily go again.

Having took up a Groupon offer for highlights, cut and blow dry and treatment on Thursday 19th January 2012 I was really disappointed with this salon.
The stylist that did my hair told me it was her first day, and she was obviously very nervous. The colour she put on was lovely and I have no complaints about that.
However during the blow dry, she managed to burn my head quite severely. I kept quite quiet as I didn’t want to upset her. I wasn’t expecting there to be much damage and didn't want to cause a scene.
The patch that was burnt has actually been singed and some of my hair has even fallen out (leaving a bald patch), the following morning, it was scabbed and still quite painful.
I didn’t see the actual damage until I was home and asked a friend for a second opinion.
On re-styling my hair the next day I also felt that it had been cut badly. There are visible sections that are cut shorter than others. I have had to go to a well known salon, and pay £52 to get it corrected and now have a really short haircut which wasn’t what I originally wanted.
On calling the salon the next day they said they would call me back, to no reply. For a few days after that it went to answer phone. I also emailed, to no reply. I was being ignored. They had my money and didn’t care otherwise. I have left it till now to leave a bad review as I was giving them a chance to redeem themselves... obviously they don't want to.
I would never use this salon again. I wouldn’t recommend it and I also wonder how many other people have had an experience like mine. I’ll be paying the £20 extra for a decent salon from now on.

Made a short notice appointment with JR Studios and was really pleased with the results. The staff were professional and friendly, listened to what it was that I wanted and gave good advice on how to achieve it. Really happy with the results - definitely recommend.

It was very busy when I was there, there was a short wait for my stylist, but was able to wait on the couch and have a drink until she'd finished with her previous client.

I have regular professional blow dries as I have long hair and struggle to style it properly myself. I have two favourite hairdressers in Sheffield who do a fantastic job. However, I decided to give this salon a go as I had been to the Leeds Russell Eaton and found them excellent. Unfortunately, this experience was not replicated at the Barnsley branch. I asked for long curls - the Kate Middleton look - just like I have regularly from other branches. Instead, I got a slight curl that disappeared when she finished the blow dry so I asked for curling tongues. All I got was straighteners which slightly improved it but it has now gone completely poker straight (within an hour of leaving the salon). When I have my usual hairdressers the curls last for four or five days.

Further it cost me £32 - £7 more than my normal blow dry.I have had my hair blow dried in central London and Manchester and it never cost that much. When I expressed my surprise (bearing in mind I appeared to have been charged extra for "curl") the only response was "I spent an hour on it". My other hairdressers are far cheaper and better and spend a similar length of time on it.

Utterly disappointing and overpriced. Poor blow dry and I feel very disappointed in them.

it was an amzing exprerience i have alreday written my review earlier and this is my 2nd review. its very hard to find a hairdresser that undertands what you are looking for at czaro they take their time to ensure they create what the customer wants. i was very impressed.

i went here on my birthday ( on a friday )and had the best haircut&blowdry! it honestly was really so good that i booked for a colour and blowdry straightaway for the next day(saturday) as i was going out both nights. the hairdresser was so lovely and gave a lovely hairstyle on saturday. the colour was awesome. would definitely recommend it. (i even gave my boyfriend a voucher from the salon& he went a week later& said he was also quite impressed).

A lot of my friends have been and had a makeover and I have wanted one for a long as I can remember, I finally got to go because on my 18th birthday my parents gave me a voucher and five hundred pounds to spend on the pictures. had gone over and over in my head how the perfect makeover would work out and at New ID it went totally according to plan but more so it was even better than I had expected. I had no idea that you got a free print but that was great because I knew exactly how many pictures I wanted for my bedroom wall and not having to buy one of them gave me some extra money to spend on the incredible cosmetic range that they have. I have tried so many products over the years and they either last two seconds, are crazy expensive or even worse give me spots. My skin is very sensitive and prone to a break out with on the smallest of provocation so it was great to find a range of cosmetics that my skin loves, my bank account loves and I do not have to touch up every five minutes. Even if you do not want to go for a makeover I would highly recommend having a look at New ID cosmetics, you don’t have to go into the salon, you can get them online. Anyway back to the makeover, so it is all bucks fizz and great fun. The salon is a really happening place and sort of puts the hairs on the back of your neck up as soon as you get there, its great, and you really do feel like a professional model or something. I was a bit scared of going in front of the camera, I had never been in front of a professional photographer before let alone in a private shoot room but the guy that took my pictures was amazing and made me smile and I felt and looked great. It was just so hard to choose which of the incredible pictures I wanted, I would love to have had all of them but I got there in the end and now have a bedroom wall to be really proud of!

The overall experience was good,
When I arrived I was offered a drink, the treatment then started.
I had a conditioning wash and blow dry, the therapist was very good and chatty, the treatment lasted 1 hour.
The salon was nicely set out and I felt comfortable throughout.

Ashleigh my hairdresser was very friendly offering a hot beverage, chatted about my hair condition and what style i would like. I found her ver professional and extremely friendly, enthusiastic about what she does and she clearly enjoys her job. my hair treatment left my hair shiny and soft. She sprayed a curl booster on and gave it lots of volume. I loved the end result and would definitely go back, highly recommended.

My appointment was first thing in the morning so not suprisingly myself and the stylist were the only ones in the salon to start with. Once other people arrived, the salon came to life and it became a very pleasant experience. The finished result was extremely good and was much admired.

It was a nice hair dressing salon although quite far from where I'm living.. I would actually visit again and recommend it to my friends. The blow dry was really good and the staff was friendly. Overall I'm satisfied and happy to visit again.

Steven is a great hairdresser. He is very experienced and game me some really good advice. I was vary happy with my hair and I am keen to start using the salon as my main one from now one. the deal was great value and I would recommend it to anyone.

I went into this salon today for a massage (yes I am a male we like our time too or maybe I am just vain), Even given my gender the girls in the salon were fantastic and I walked out feeling a million dollars. Will I visit again err.......... Definitely the owner even asked me how it was when I left so customer service must be quite tip top too.

I had the first of three blow dry and conditioning treatments at Hands salon. The salon has got a nice vibe and decor and is in a good location on Wardour Street. My stylist was great and gave me a lovely head massage after washing my hair. I asked if she could cut my fringe as an add on to the treatment which she did very thoroughly and precisely. I loved my blowdry and the conditioning treatment made my hair very shiny. I'm looking forward to going back with my friend for the next blow dry and treatment.

Great shop been going since it opened, I wish they would re-open the shop so I dont have to find another hairdresser. So pleaseeeeeeee open up your shop again in Moredun.

Having just left an awful salon I realise how fantastic the staff and everything about Smith's Salon is!
Gemma has done my colour a couple of times and she's just great! Should've gone to her! Holly's blowdrying is not super, but they are lovely and very professional and a great salon! 5 out of 5!!!

Staff were very friendly and helpful - and the voucher was great value. I got a hair cut, colour and blow dry for £40. They did try and sell me a Brazillian blow dry treatment but once I said I wasn't interested they didn't keep hasselling me which was good. I will def visit again.

I will never go back to that salon. It doesn't look like a salon from the outside, more like a house. I was not sure it was the right place so I phoned them and no one answered. So I knocked and got in. The woman who greeted me was ok. I was on time but i remember having to wait for 45 minutes. I had my hair highlighted. When the product as applied, I was left on my own for a long time. They didn't tell me how long. Then I had my haircut. I was ok, nothing special about it. The hairdresser was nice though. The worse part was when I looked at myself on the mirror: the colour was horrible. I asked for something natural, I just wanted some blond highlights. It looked yellow, very artificial and didn't look like me at all. The colour specialist just gave me a sample of special shampoo to apply at home but it didn't work. So I lost my money, my time and I had to wait a few weeks looking like that before having new highlights done elsewhere. Not happy!

I went in for a half head of highlights and a cut and finish. The whole treatment felt slightly rushed and the colour was not exactly what i was hoping for. However, overall, for the price, i was satisfied.

I just got home from visiting Gregorys for my 1 hour massage, followed by wash, cut and blow dry. I must say the service was just fantastic. I nearly fell asleep during the massage. After the massage i was asked if i wanted to relax for a while with a coffee before my second treatment. The wash, cut and blow dry was great. It was excellent value of just £19 from the voucher. The girl did a good cut and overall my 2 hours at the salon was just bliss. I give this salon and its friendly staff 5 stars all round and have already booked in for my next appointment.

I visited Lucas salon last week with the £23 voucher for a cut, blow dry and treatment.

I was slightly early but they started right away which was great for me. Marco cut my hair and i feel he listened to what I wanted and then he made his recommendations which were spot on for me.

I really appreciated the advise he gave and he took time with me looking through magazines so I could choose the right cut.

The treatment and head massage were great and I left really happy and confident with my new length something which doesnt normally happen! I normally leave the hairdressers feeling like what I have said has been ignored and quite upset!

For the price the value is amazing, I also left with some good advice on how to get my hair cut next time based on my face shape, I think I will be daring to go shorter.

The staff at this salon are always very friendly and kind but unfortunately only seem to know a handful of prescribed haircuts which pay no regard to the individual's hair. After asking for them just to trim the haircut I already had they took it upon themselves to change the shape, leaving me looking like something from an 80's rock band. God only knows how long it will take to grow out. The blow dry seemed to take a million years and I left with very flat dull looking hair which was supposed to have been for a special event. In short, enjoying playing with hair and having an actual talent as a stylist/hairdresser are two extremely different things.

I am furious after calling in to make my monthly appt, (usually approx £60) to be told i could not use my xmas voucher as i didnt have it with me and they cannot be used at the same time, I have already been in once and had a colour and cut explained I had the wrong handbag with me due to travelling to Africa and Australia over Jan/Feb, I am also due a free haircut due to filling up my customer loyalty card.

well thats one lost customer and there are plenty of salons in the area at a much cheaper rate and I have already made my appointment thankyou.

the other issue with this place is the lack of WIFI, the 3G coverage disappears as soon as you enter but even though they have WIFI availability it is not offered to the clients.

Shame because gemma was a lovely stylist and a good hairdresser........generally this place is too expensive and clearly greedy!

Just got back from a makeover day and photo shoot at Id studios Manchester, I went with my daughter after purchasing a deluxe makeover package for two.
I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism of all the staff, from the moment we entered right through to leaving. The hair stylists, makeover artist and the photographer made you feel extremely welcome, and soon put you at ease.
The photographs were stunning and the only difficult part of the day was deciding which of the photos to buy, if money was no object we would have bought them all!.
The photos are expensive and we had to shortlist our favourites, we just thought it would be better to offer a package with all the photos on a disc rather than actual printed ones. (they do offer single photos on a disc, but to get them all on one would be better, and cheaper!)
Would I go again, .... no, would I recommend to a friend,.....Yes, (bank balance says no)
We have to wait four weeks for the piccies and again if they put them on a disc you could take them home with you, which would be better.
Hopefully the picture quality is as good as the day has been and we can cherish them for years to come.
Give this company a try, but do go midweek if you can because it is quieter and they can spend even more time pampering you and making you feel like a star.

I had the nicest time here at Burlington - I went in with long hair and came out completely transformed and restyled with a funky bob. The Hairdressing was lovely and I felt completely at ease here. I'd most definitely come again, and inface I even treated my mum to a cut and blow dry here and she said she had the best cut she'd ever have...and I have to say I agree. 10/10 :D

The stylist was so helpful. He asked me about my hair likes and dislikes, what I've tried before, what style I would like. He then showed me how to curl my hair with straighteners and described what he was doing so I could recreate at home. So helpful!

there were lots of people in the salon at the same time, which made it cosy on the couch whilst highlights were working their magic. However, never felt neglected and was well taken care of. Sylist very thoughtful and considerate.

They were very kind to fit me in last thing on a busy Saturday. Although it was closing time my blow dry was not rushed and the finish was nice. The therapist explained and recommended the good products she was using. I cheekily asked if threading was possible quickly and she was very kind to oblige. Thank you very much and keep up the hard work.

The staff member who cut my hair seemed very inexperienced and she was barely able to hold the scissors.
After I explained what I wanted in details, it looked like she completely ignored it.
She literally used scissors to cut three locks of my hair and then started drying my hair.
I would have complained, but after seeing how inexperienced she seemed to be, I only wanted to leave as soon as possible.
Also, while she was washing my hair before the haircut, it was really painful and I felt as if my hair was being pulled viciously.

Salon is very nicely decorated, staff were polite and attentive.
I had a cut and blow dry and the stylist listened to what I wanted and made helpful suggestions.

Excellent value for money, will definitely look out for other offers here!

I was offered a drink on arrival and the lady cutting my hair was very pleasant. I went with a friend and I was kept waiting for a while as my hairdresser was finishing off her previous client's hair. This meant my friend was kept waiting at the end. It was a really good deal and I liked my hair cut so I would go again.

I never imagined getting a hair cut would be so relaxing. Everything from the customer service to the actual cut and style was top notch. My stylist took his time and overal it was really good value for money.

I had the Brazilian blow dry treatment and it was fabulous! My hair looks amazing. I was treated so well - this is a really friendly salon and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I will definitely be going back.

I went to the Salon with my mum. We had both different requirements. The haircuts were just perfect. They even put forward some suggestions that help made the cut this extra special. They were friendly and welcoming.

Had a spot of trouble finding the place as it is on corner of Margaret Sreet and I walked past it twice! But once inside (early in the morning it was quite and staff were pleasant. Talkative stylist, but when I got my head around this, she was knowledgeable about the colour and did a good job of chossing the correct tones for my highlights. Overall I was very satisfied.

Had to wait a little while as they were quite busy but overall staff were friendly. I enjoyed the conditioning treatment and the stylist took time to understand what I wanted. Would visit again!

I absolutely love Easton Regal. I've been a lot of different salons in London, including ones a lot more expensive, but in the end I always regret not coming to Easton Regal. The salon is absolutely massive, with great service and fancy massaging chairs. They bring you delicious brownies and fresh fruit right from when you sit down. They go above and beyond to ensure that you're happy. I always have my hair colored by Sarah, she really is a color genius. My highlights always look natural and are thin instead chunky and overly bold. She is able to blend colors to add depth to your hair. Even if you've previously had a bad color job, Sarah can fix it and you'll always leave happy and looking glamourous.

THis was a present for my daughter and her freind for her 19th birthday -we were stopped in the street and offered buy one get one free so thought ideal for a birthday gift ! paid for the photo and makeover -then had to pay £50 booking fee which I was told I would get back ermmmm still waiting !
then came the really hilarious piece of misell I've ever come across
Rang to confirm as per insructions then the hard sell begins if I paid £60 pounds there and then I would get an extra photo each for the same deal so paid the £60 so in total I paid £60 which they doubled to £120 plus £50 plus £25 = £195 then day before shoot call from ID - do you want to double up and pay more money for more photos ...... so I asked how much would it be for a ! cd with all the photos on the guy sadi £100 -so I said well I'll have that rather then the photos - then came day of the shoot - daughter wouldn't let the stylist cut her hair as didn't look old enough to be qualifeid photographer moody and shouted at them - then next day went back to 'view' and were sat in a room and made to complete credit froms to pay for 2CD's at a cost of over £200 plus what I ahd already paid ! my daughter rang me in tears I had to get me husband to come out of work to sort it out - short version it's a scam and no where near as profeesional as ventura photos at least there you know what you are paying for ! really really reallly disapointed

Very good hairdressers.Initially arrived in Oct/Nov 2011 for a last minute appointment and luckily they had a cancellation. Offered a tea/cofffe before hand. Lovely latte and biscuit was served to me in the comfortable waiting area. A young hairdresser but senior/experienced hairdresser called Cara assesseed my hair before the treatment. I have naturally thick blonde hair whichis reasonably short but has been previously thinned out. After consultation she suggested leaving the thickness to grow but to to attempt to layer it and as it grows it will have more body. This sounded good. Very pleased with the look after blow drying. Booked another appointment for the December. The same customer service was still there on my visit in Dcecember. The same hair plan was in place. After my hair becoming left to grow another six weeks there was quite a lot more body of hair to work with. Shape started to take effect. After the blow dry it looked like Princess Diana here I come! Good price of only £35.00. Looking forward to my return visit..

I was a little apprehensive about walking in the door - but all the staff were genuine and friendly from the start. I had a fabulous hairdresser called Natalie, who is lovely hand has over 13 years of experience (I was in safe hands) I am so happy with my new haircut, she listened exactly to what I wanted and I am thrilled with the result. I will be making the effort to go back, voucher or not as it is hard to find a decent hairdresser! I would absolutely recommend this salon.

I went to this salon after purchasing an offer on KGB deals, what a mistake!!!
When I was trying to book an appointment I tried on several occasions to get in touch with the salon via telephone. The number rang out and mailbox was full which was very frustrating, more so that when I had my apppointment on Saturday there were a number of staff just hanging around for long periods of time.
Considering that this is meant to only have opened recently the salon isnt very clean or well kept but I was prepared to overlook this.
The hairdresser talked me through the colour of my hair which to be fair is ok but how she has the cut is a different matter! I have been trying to grow my hair for a number of months and asked her to only trim the ends slightly and that I didnt really want any layers but if required they could also be trimmed.
It was dreadful what she did to my hair. At one point the front edges were cut bluntly and were 2 to 3 inches shorter than the back.
I asked if she was going to graduate this but then she just started hacking into my hair. I really did not feel that she knew what she was doing at all and shouldnt be let loose with a pair of scissors.
I asked that she stopped cutting as I wanted to get out of the salon asap as I was finding the whole experience quote distressing. It might sound dramatic but I was really shaken up leaving the shop and actually cried all the way home.
I was going out on Saturday night and had to go any pay another salon to put my hair up so that the state of the haircut could not be seen! I have also made an appointment for an experienced hairdresser to cut my hair again to fix the damage that has been done. Due to the hacking of the ends of my hair I think that the end result is going to be that my hair is cut into a much shorter style, probably a bob which I am really upset about as previously mentioned I have been trying to grow my hair longer.
I was in the market for a new hairdresser which is why I bought this deal. I appreciate that I didnt pay full value for this but had I been happy this would have resulted in regular repeat business. With the additional appointments I have had to have and book this will have actually cost me more than the RRP for this treatment at this salon which was listed as £98
I wouldnt normally log a complaint about anywhere if I am ever unhappy with a service I would usually just avoid going back to that place but this has been one of the worst experiences of hairdressing I have experienced in my life.

really great value for money. as I brough a mobdeal for a blow dry and the out come was lovely and hair looked smooth and tammed. i would go here again. the staff were super friendly. the location really convenient just off Oxford Street.

The specialists was not very polite, and did not seem to be 'enjoying' her work. I had to pay extra for my treatment to be done 'properly' and other stylists kept on interrupting mine for various requests. I would look for an alternative place to get my hair done next time.

My makeover was pretty perfect really. I went on a Saturday and they told me that there might be quite a long delay between each section of the makeover because they get rammed at the weekend but I found that it was fine and the longest I had to wait for anything was half an hour to view the pictures but to be honest there was so much going on in the salon that it was great to just sit back and people watch. I was not bored at all and you get free bucks fizz the whole time you are there any way so I was not going to moan about sitting in a great salon with heaps going on with a glass of bubbles in my hand!
The makeover was fantastic and pretty much how the rest of the contributors on here have said, it’s a case of book in, sit with the consultant, fill in a few forms, go over what kind of look you want then off to the hair section, get a wash and a cut and a blow dry and style and then off to makeup where you get your makeup done and lots of brilliant advice on how to make the best of yourself and take care of your skin, the it is a touch up on the old hair and then you are whisked off to the photo studio where you jump around having a ball and having your pictures taken, then you wait for the viewing, go wild because you want to buy all of the pictures. figure which you can afford, choose you free one, pay the postage and off you go, a few weeks later they turn up and you hang them with pride on your wall.
It was all pretty faultless really and I would find it very hard to figure out how they could improve this experience.

Haircut gets cheaper!!


I coincidentally found a coupon next to my mail box and that triggered me to have a hair cut at New Way Spa. Called them up to make sure if they were still taking coupons and the answer was "yes". What I liked about going was that no prior appointment was needed. They had good number of staff and any walk-ins were welcome. The Manager 'Kejt' gave me a neat, healthy hair cut in about 15 min including shampoo and conditioning rinse for 15£

Absolutely disappointing experience! I have to say, they used to be good and I did have a few amazing haircuts from them. HOWEVER, NOT ANY MORE! 1. Bad Service. I booked with Anne, but after driving all the way down there, the counter causally informed me that I am having another hair dresser (whom I had not heard of), there was not even choices or apologies, what was I suppose to do…. 2. Bad Skills (or arrogant, not listen to you?). I even took pictures to show the hair dresser the style, plus it was not even difficult, just a short BoBo style. But now my hair looks like a helmet, exposed around ears like a man and extremely puffy on top (the longest part was 2 inches!). By the way that was their current artist level hair dresser’s work, cost me £46, just for that! Rip off! I will definitely not use them again

I have nothing but respect for New ID and their makeover service. I loved having the two makeover s I have had with them and will certainly be looking forward to having another one some time soon as well. I was very surprised at how affordable the makeover package are, I would have thought it would cost a lot more than that when you are not under any obligation to buy the pictures. Then I thought that as the actual deal was cheap you would be put under a lot of pressure to buy the pictures so was slightly apprehensive about that the first time I went but it was fine, there was no pressure at all and as some other people have mentioned the pictures really don’t need a lot of hard sell, they are great and really sell themselves. I loved the makeup they did for me on the day and I was very happy to find that the makeup lady was almost giving me a makeup lesson, I took a lot away from that experience and I am a lot more confident with makeup now and happy too experiment a bit more as well. I brought quite a few of the makeup products, I would like to have brought more but I wanted to spend the majority of my money on the picture that I am so very proud of. I think New ID are great and if you go you will love it. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and I think if you check out the deals on the website you will be amazed , as I was, at how affordable this is.

I have been to Francesco Picardi several times now and you are always welcomed by the friendly staff, with a offer of a drink immediately. Josh, my stylist always does a fab job with my hair. Great hairdressers! Very easy to find and the lady was very welcoming to myself and my friend. I had a cut and highlights, the consultation was pretty in-depth and I definitely felt she understood what I wanted. My friend had a Moroccan Oil treatment and she was really pleased with the results. I left with hair a few shades lighter and a lovely bouncy blow dry!!

The staff were efficient and friendly from the first moment I walked in the door. I was seated and offered refreshments and then the stylist sat and chatted to me about options for a 'hair up glam style' I was delighted with the outcome and it stayed in place all evening. We also discussed possible change in hair colour and style and I will definitely go back. I was amased to see just how much care the Manager of the salon took when cutting another clients hiar, a real professional and one who clearly had pride in what he was doing. I can recommend this salon.

Friendly staff, when I arrived I was shown to the seating area and told to help myself to drinks which was nice as there were many choices of drinks to choose from however I had waited over 30 minutes to be seen. The stylist did great on my hair, very fast stylist and blow dried after cutting my hair. My voucher was for cut, blow dry and treatment however i was not given my treatment as after the blow dry the stylist was finished and asked do i like my hair, i had not bothered to mention the treatment as i was running late to meet friends after due to the long wait i had before being seen. I will recommend this experience to everyone but will advise that you must mention and make sure you get everything your voucher is for.

The salon itself is rather small but he staff are friendly. I was seen to straight away did not have to wait at all. After my wash and deep conditioning treatment I was offered coffee or tea. Unfortunately my hairdresser was new in the country so she spoke a very little English. She was however very polite and friendly, she also knew what she was doing and took in what I wanted.n Something many hairdressers fail to understand.

On the whole I wouldn't go again for the full price because the salon is very small and facilities minimum. But for a quick fix me up its alright.

I am quite antsy when it comes to getting a haircut in London especially because of my previous experience with a few hairdressers in London. Came across Luca online. After a little research and reading a few reviews *ALWAYS READ CUSTOMER REVIEWS*, I decided to give it a go. It's hard to miss at it's right across the street when you get out Kensal Rise Station's exit. The staff is lovely. Tame did my hair and he's one of the sweetest/proficient hair-stylist ever. I walked out of that place looking and feeling like a supermodel. *Not really sure about the looking bit but oh well*

I had a chap called WIlliam cut my hair, and it was on a KGB deal of £19 for a wash, conditioning treatment and a blow dry reduced from £63 - so a great saving. I was expecting that the hair cut wasn't going to be the best I've ever had, as it was such a cheap deal - but I was mistaken.
The haircut was fantastic, the best I've had in a long long time. The girl washing my hair was very friendly and chatty.

The hair salon itself was very trendy, yet in no way was it too pretentious or intimidating - the staff were so friendly and knew their way around a pair of scissors whilst all sport some kind of quirky hair-do.

Great service, quick, friendly and excellent job. Would go back again and pay full price.

Good location, very friendly salon - the staff were the best thing about the place. Not really much of a waiting area, they were running a bit late so it would have been nice if there had been a more comfortable place to wait however the stylist acknowledged me a few times during my wait which was nice. I enjoyed the haircut, I just wanted a trim so could not expect much. blow dry was good. I had a look at the usual prices and I think it is a overpriced - £100 for a cut with the top stylist is a bit too much!

I bought a deal for three blow-dries. My hair is quite unruly so I regularly have it blow-dried. I was a bit apprehensive as some of the reviews I had read were not so good but I thought that it was just a blow dry and I’d take a chance. I am so pleased I did! Usually only the ‘top’ hairdressers (at top prices) can blow dry my hair the way I like it. I walked out absolutely loving my hair. I’m really looking forward to going again and seeing the results. Although I live in N London and prefer to go closer to where I live, for a result like this I’ll happily come to them. Also, as it is in central London (and open weekends) it’s very convenient to visit them if you are out shopping on Oxford Street.

A very professional salon, I had a great cut and blow dry but I was mainly delighted by my hair stylist! She was very friendly and accommodating; a refreshing change to the hair stylists in my local salon in Surbiton. It was lovely to be able to discuss in detail about what I wanted and show a picture, also she didn't mind one bit after blow drying my hair perfectly that I asked for the ends a little straighter. I also received a 50% off cut and 30% off colour voucher for my next visit. Great central location for hitting Oxford Street shops. I will be back and I would highly recommend!

I have been a customer of Bliss and Kerry in particular for the past 6 or so years and would never dream about going to another hairdressing salon - even when I moved to the other side of the country I would drive the 40 miles for my hair appointments.
Kerry and the girls are so professional and will make sure you get the advice you need to look after your care. I cannot recommend Bliss enough.

I have been going to Bliss for about 4 years its a great hair and beauty salon all the staff are very freindly i go to Helen but if i can't get an app with her i go to anyone else as they are all FAB i would never go past Bliss and i do have to say they are the BEST at HAIR UP aswell.

I don't have a particular girl I use as I trust that everyone in bliss is highly trained to an excellent standard. I get what I ask for with some good suggestions thrown in and personally that's all I want from a hairdresser :))

i go to bliss to get my hair done, last while its been my once a year birthday treat, but would highly reccommend going, the staff make you feel welcome and Kerry who does my hair does exactly what i ask for!

I come to Bliss every 6-7 weeks and get Kerry who is great she knows exactly what I like and don't like. Even when Kerry was off ill my appointment was re-arranged with someone else who was great. I would highly recommend Bliss to anyone. Nice friendly staff and great atmosphere.

gogoboots in Knowle is my new favourite Hair Salon. I went in there today for Highlights and a cut and blow dry and i am so thrilled with the results. Ela that coloured my hair is amazing, she is so professional with all of her years experience and knowledge. I really felt like i was in good hands. Me and my friend decided to go to Essensuals after another friend reccomended it to us. As her hair always looks great we decided to give it a try. We inatially called by phone to get an appointment and they were really helpful and went to a lot of trouble get us appointments togeather. On our our arrival we were greeted by really friendly staff and felt totally relaxed and looked after. our stylists totally listened to what we wanted...as a result both me and my friend both have fab looking hair

I brought one of your groupon offer for a hair colour, condition and hair cut at Adee Phelan, mailbox.

As there was a reaction to the test colour, I only had my hair cut and conditioned, and it was the worst hair cut I have ever had
Firstly I didn’t receive an alternative or discount for paying for a colour and not receiving it and secondly my hair cut was dreadful, it wasn’t straight from the ends.

I highlighted this with the hairdresser by going into the salon and being told by the receptionist I’m not a hairdresser so I can’t comment but the manager isn’t in so I will get him to contact you. When the manager did contact me I felt I was committing the worst crime in history and was again told he needs to speak to the hairdresser and phone me back. When he phoned me the following day he asked for me to come into the salon so the hairdresser can have a look at the hair cut. Again I felt I was in the wrong, both times I spoke to the manager he put me on hold to speak to a member of staff which was very rude and in my line of work I would never do that to any of my customers.

When I did make the appointment to fit around them I was taken into a room where the hairdresser sat me down and looked at my hair and did said yes they have made a mistake but no apology was given. I asked for my money back and was told that isn’t possible only the same hairdresser could cut my hair.

Avoid the place

When I arrived I was given a full consultation with Max who I presume was the manager and introduced to my stylist Lilie( she did not speak very good english) she was very pleasant and Max explained to her what I wanted.
She did a half head of highlights which are very good and cut my hair. The blow dry was brilliant as I have very thick hair.
During my appointment I was offered tea and coffee and all the staff were very pleasant. Would go back but could only afford with a special offer as quite expensive

The place was messy and old. The blow dry was a bit better than I would do myself and my hair were flat by the same evening. The people were polite, but unfortunately the service was below average.

THIS IS A TRUE INCIDENT - PLEASE READ

Recently (February 2012) I went to "Go Bananas" in Hall Green Birmingham, for a Hair Consultation and Quote for a Hair Cut and Colour. I have never been to "Go Bananas before so I was a new customer to this salon. I was very much attracted on how reasonable they were in price yet how could I be so wrong, in fact I was absolutely Bananas in the first place to visit the place, absolutely appalling customer service no joke from management to hairdressing floor staff, what can I state it was bloody awful …a bloody waste of time!!!!

I personally would not recommend this salon to others in a million years!!!! As a potential customer having a haircut and colour I have never felt humiliated in front of others. This is a true incident please read…

I was quoted £65.00 for full head colour and cut, this was put in writing on their business card (which I still have) as I have very long hair. It would have helped if the Receptionist staff could spell quoted for a start, as it was hand written and spelt "QOUTED" on their business card.

To ensure that the selected colours would lift in my dark hair I had a strand test for two individual colours on my hair one for red and another for brown and was told to come back to the salon the following day by the hairdressing floor staff for the results. They took my personal contact details and my hair strand to conduct this.

I came back the next day as advised and they could not find my hair strands at all. I left my personal contact details again for them to call I for an update on when I should come back to the salon to see the results and book an official appointment to have my hair done.

Having not received a call back for days, I followed up this matter for 2 days constantly only to be told that they were busy and was not able to contact the lady who took my strand test as she was on holiday. I called again yet this time no apology what so ever and was told to come back to the Salon to have the hair strand test again as they lost it. WHAT??!!

I was so annoyed at this point as my hair on my head is my personal property, and they lost it yet didn’t have the decency in the first place to be honest and state that to I when I called several times for an update and to make matters even worst they did not even apologise let alone admit that they made a discrepancy in the first place.

I spoke to initially one of the Male Managers over the telephone, clearly explaining what had happened only to be asked irrelevant questions back whilst discussing the concern raised to I on this incident like “where do you live and what do you do for a living”. It would have helped if you the Male Manager were really listening attentively to what I was stating to you in the first place!!!!.

I, then spoke to another Manager who was female who was very aggressive and abrupt in her communication tone over the telephone just would not listen to what I was trying to state as it was clearly a discrepancy from the salon end yet I was made to feel like a victim for raising such a concern.

I was then later offered over the telephone by the Female Manager a complimentary £10 Hair Conditioning Treatment alongside with the £65.00 quote given for hair colour and cut for the inconvenience caused by the Salon if I came back to the Salon for another strand test again. This offer with the complimentary £10 Conditioning Treatment was also left by the hairdressing floor staff later that day on my phone on voicemail so I have clear evidence of this.

I turned up at "Go Bananas" in Hall Green Birmingham, for another strand test as agreed only to be passed onto by Reception Staff to the Female Manager whom I spoke to on the phone only to be told in my face in front of other customers and her staff in the salon that as I was not happy over the phone that her staff lost my hair strand and I had to go through the hair strand process again and she likes her customers to be happy she refused to proceed with my haircut as quoted and promised, let alone another strand test as promised and agreed.

Although I was happy to give "Go Bananas" in Hall Green Birmingham, a second chance by attending another strand test, I do question why I in fact bothered the public humiliation in front of salon staff and other customers was certainly not worth it!!!!

I was given no choice yet asked to leave the salon by the Female Manager at “Go Bananas" in Hall Green Birmingham, as they clearly refused to proceed ahead with my hair, when I was specifically invited again by them for another strand test in the first place.

I personally felt deliberately humiliated in front of all salon staff and customers, in particularly when I was polite, courteous and extremely patient throughout my dealings with "Go Bananas" in Hall Green Birmingham and it was not even my discrepancy.

"Go Bananas" in Hall Green Birmingham are clearly NOT people of their word and in terms of customer service and treating people with respect they certainly have a long long in fact long way to go.

I, from my personal experiences as a potential new customer DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SALON TO ANYONE ON THIS PLANET.!!!!!!

Really amazing haircut.So many friends have asked where I had it cut. A great lady called Erika did my hair and she was so nice and did everything I asked for.The rest of the staff nice as well.Will go back.

used a Wahanda voucher to get my hair shampooed, cut and blow dried with special treatment for just £9 a real bargain, although South Sheilds is quite a way from where i live i thought it might be a good idea to use my bus pass to get there and wasn't disappointed, worth the trip, a young girl called Ashley looked after me from start to finish and she did a great job specially cutting as i have had some right axe women cut my hair in the past, came out feeling like a million dollars and went to the big chippy for my lunch, by the time i got home felt as if i had had a marvellous day out and had the results to take home with me, all in all a great experience and i'm going back at regular intervals for Ashley to trim my hair.

Clean friendly salon with plenty of free parking nearby. Not near a train/tube station although is on a bus route. Offered me a tea/coffee on arrival and apologised for running a little late. Had hair washed and a lovely head massage and then my usual bob style cut by Linda. Conditioning treatment was a tiny drop of Moroccan oil rubbed into my hair. Very pleased with cut and it was excellent value using Wahanda voucher.

My stylist Jessie was lovely. He advised me on my cut and aftercare. He also suggested a style that I might prefer. Blow dried my hair as I wanted it. Left the salon very happy

I went to Cloud 9 with my sons girlfriend and we both had facials and a cut and blow dry colours by Freeda who was excellent she is a very experienced stylist who offers lots of advice the shampoo and conditioning treatment was lovely so relaxing. Sarah the beautician is the best ever i have been for quite a few facials but this was the best ever she does a full analysis of your skin and gives the best advice and uses the best products for your skin 10 out of 10 for this salon the staff the warm relaxed atmosphere and the professionalism. Returning tommorow wtih my son and his girlfriend who are having massages and i am having foils colour cut and blow dry cant wait, superb cloud 9 my sister has joined you now as well.

Had my Hair cut by a Art director at Mane Event for the 1st time, She Brought me up-to-date and everyone tells me my hair looks amazing, Great Haircut,massage chairs and expresso coffee-Heaven!

Was so scared about getting my haircut as I have had bad experiences but I am so pleased with the results, my hair has never looked better. Would defiantly recommend to anyone who is looking for a hairdresser that listens and does want you want! Brilliant!

I had a trip to this Salon today. The owner is very friendly & has a nice pleasant manner. She puts you at ease immediately and offers Tea/Coffee or a Cold Drink. The Salon Is Bright & well Decorated .
I had a Cut , Highlights & Blow dry. The cut is perfect and my Blonde Highlights look great. Overall a great value visit to great Salon , I would recommend a visit . I booked through 5pm.com. Give it a try.

Wonderful! Received a gift voucher for Christmas and used part of it on a blow dry with a young lady and the remaining on a facial and mini manicure. (My friend had Minx nails and body massage). Was very impressed, not a frequent visitor to Beauty Salons but will definitely be going again. Lovely therapist who made me feel very comfortable from start to finish. The Lisa Shepherd Salon is in a very good central location. They offer a choice of drinks from a flash smeg fridge. The cut was good and they took their time trying to correct an awful cut at Burlingtons. I'd go back and recommend it to a friend.

Before I start, I want to say that I am not usually one to complain, but I feel that I need to warn people about this salon. I visited Lisa Shepherd London for a Brazilian Blow Dry, using a Wahanda deal. I originally had problems trying to book in for an appointment. As I don't live locally to London, I didn't have chance to use my voucher until near it's expiry date, and the actual appointment was booked for the day before the expiry date (earliest appointment they had, despite calling up to book 3 weeks earlier). The day before my original appointment, I ended up having to cancel due to an unforeseen family emergency. Therefore I rang the salon to explain my situation, and politely asked if there was any chance that I could re-book another appointment and have the expiry date of the voucher extended by just a week or so at the managers discretion, in order to use it at the time of a new appointment. I was told that the manager said that there was nothing he could do, and he wouldn't extend the date by a week! I'd have to ring Wahanda and ask them if they could do anything. I rang Wahanda and the lovely guy I spoke to said that he couldn't understand why the Manager wanted me to ring Wahanda, as like I expected, it would have to be extended at Lisa Shepherds managers discretion. He spoke to Lisa Shepherd on my behalf to explain exactly what I had told him and the salon already. Suddenly, the manager agreed to allow me to use my voucher a few days past the expiry date after all! Top marks to the man at Wahanda, very pleasant and helpful.
I have had a Brazilian Blow Dry previously at a different salon in June last year and absolutely loved the smoothness and condition of my hair afterwards. Therefore, I knew what to expect. I had high hopes of Lisa Shepherd, knowing that they were the company that was used on 10 years younger, hence why I was willing to travel a 120 mile round journey to get to London for it. I do not think that the hairdresser at Lisa Shepherd gave me a proper full Brazilian Blow Dry, either that or the organic product that they use is useless! I followed everything that I was told, ie, don't get my hair wet for 3 days, straighten it if I get any kinks within the 3 days before first washing it, use sodium and paraben free shampoo & conditioner etc etc, but the treatment has had no effect on my hair whatsoever! In fact, it has seemed more frizzy and dry if anything since having this treatment done at Lisa Shepherd! Even the day after I first washed it (5 days after having the treatment applied), my hair frizzed up just walking into my bathroom when it was slightly steamy! My hair wouldn't even frizz when I went out in the rain 3 months later after the first Brazilian blow dry that I had! Overall, Lisa Shepherds treatment was a real disappointment, and I feel like it was a complete waste of the £74 voucher, plus travel expenses to and from London. So glad that I didn't pay the full cost of the treatment as I would have been extremely upset with the results. If I lived closer to London, I would have gone straight back and complained. I was also not offered the glass of wine that I was meant to have included in the cost of the voucher, and there wasn't even any soft drinks in the fridge that I could have instead of the wine.
The hairdresser that applied my treatment was friendly to me, but I didn't like the way that one of her rude colleagues (a supervisor or manager I believe), spoke down to her loudly in front of me and the other customers (basically accusing her of stealing a pair of hair straighteners after their staff party a couple of weeks earlier, as one of the pairs of straighteners had been missing since then!). It made me feel very awkward, so I dread to think of how she must have felt! I didn't feel that it was a good image of the salon, and could have been done much more tactfully (ie in private!). I personally would never use this salon again for all the reasons mentioned. I don't know if I was treated like this because of the fact that I used a Wahanda voucher instead of paying the full cost for the treatment, but if this is the case, then they shouldn't offer these special deals! It certainly doesn't encourage people to become repeat customers, which i'm sure is the reason why they offer the special deals in the first place! Be wary if you are going to buy a special deal for this salon. If you do then I pray that you get the treatments that you paid for (that work!!!), and a much higher level of customer service than I did!

THis is amazing salon. 5 years with them and so happy every time when going there. the staff are masters and always provide a great service and atmoshphere.

I have literally just got back from getting the best cut and colour i have ever had! The salon is gorgeous, the staff were fantastic, and the end product is sensational! I couldn't be more thrilled!

I have bought 3 vouchers via "I need pampering" website for Corrine &Co.

Firstly, the number given as a contact was never being picked up, just kept on ringing. Called "I need pampering" and was given another number. This was was answered straight away but when I said I am calling to use a voucher the man who answered was very rude and asked why I did not call the "number given". Still, reluctantly he gave me an appointment.

I have arrived at the "salon" and was shocked - my kitchen is bigger than that place. Still, as there was no other customers at least it was not crowded.

Corrine herself cut my hair - nothing spectacular taht I could nto get for 1/10th of her prices in another place. She did not listen to what I wanted and follow what I asked for, she "knew better" and cut my hair in a way that... Well, I have tied my hair up as soon as I left, that tells you something. She is a nice person but with that "I know what suits you better and will not do what YOU want" atitude so I would not go back to her.

The other 2 vouchers that I gave to my 2 friends - they could never book an appointment, the phono was just ringing and ringing and ringing and never picked up. FInally they rang the number I was given, got through straigh away and again some rude man was very unpleasant to them. They wanted to book an appointment together, for both of them (young girls, they wanted to enjoy a haircut together) but he told them they only book one at a time, he will not book them together and he can only book oe at a time for a weekday and not for a weekend. As they both work full time, they can ot go on a weekday so guess what? 2 vouchers, worth £60 each will not be lost.

Real pity, would never book again ever.

I got a voucher for New ID as a Gift from my sister for my partner and I for a Deluxe Makeover and Photoshoot for two including hairstyle, make-up, nails and drinks. I phoned up and booked it for a Sunday at 8am. I had to pay a depisit of 50pounds which could be used toward images or payed back to me after we attended the day. We were offered drinks, chatted to, asked what look we were going for, even my partner enjoyed it (he didnt want makeup but they managed to convince him to have foundation because otherwise the photo's will whitewash him). The hair was brilliant (I even bought some conditioning treatment because they made my hair so soft), Makeup also brilliant and gave me some tips on doing it myself.
Photographer was brilliant, talked us through, helped us pose in different clothes and backgrounds. Told to wait 1 hour before photo viewing and suggested we pop into town for food and a little shop, which we did.
Went back to have a look at the pictures. the room we viewed them in was small but it was fairly pleasant. We were overwhelmed by the quality of the pictures and had one heck of a job to work out which ones to get. None of them really needed touching up and there was plenty to choose from so it is easy to avoid that extra cost if you want to.
We both really had a good time and I am sure we will be going again at some point in the future.

I really wasn't expecting much from this appointment - it was the first time I had purchased anything from Wahanda, and from previous experience with other 'deal of the day' sites like Groupon, etc. I was expecting Parlour Hair to be a bit of a dive! Boy, was I wrong!

As soon as I walked into the salon, I was impressed - its very well laid out and classy-looking. The staff are very polite and well-mannered.....My mother came along with me and waited in the seating area and she commented on how well they all treated her (they were friendly/chatty, made her a drink, etc.). My treatment was wonderful - I had a wash, head massage, conditioning treatment, cut and blow dry and I was more than satisfied with the results.

I don't think I will ever use another salon - I normally go to Umberto Giannini in Selfridges and I think Parlour Hair out-do them in every aspect, which is saying a lot.

Great staff. Very friendly and professional. Mahmoud did my hair. Absolutely love it. Really took his time in advising on a low maintenance style suitable for my type of hair and he very kindly considered my time management for a soon to be mum. Great atmosphere. Can't rate it enough.

I went to Synergy for a Cut and Finish and I was really pleased with the end result.
As I usually book really last minute, they were able to fit me in the next day which I was really happy about! When I arrived, although I arrived quite early, they came to me right away and got started. I thought that for the price I paid, it was really worth it, the lady was really nice to me, and it was quite quiet and I'm definitely going back next month :)

This is a fantastic salon with very professional hairdressers with whom I have a great deal of confidence as my hair is very thin and needs a professional cut. Jessie, the young man who cut my hair talked about it at first then gave me a wonderful cut which suited my hair. He is a true professional set to go a long way. Conscientious and truly passionalte about hair.

I know, I know. It's in a strip mall...if you can suffer that indignity, it's a gem! Amber, who cut 10" off my hair for Locks of Love, did a fantastic job and was very nice to work with. They offer 50% off of your cut on Mondays if you're donating. I was nervous when I went in and very happy when I left! Also received 15% off color for being first-timer as well as a 30% off return visit. Pretty good incentives. Everyone was quite nice. Will be returning!

Went to Dappa after a hectic night shift and couldn't wait for some pampering. The lady that washed my hair was lovely and gave me a great head massage. The hairdresser however barely engaged in conversation. He trimmed my hair but when it came to blowdrying it acted confused when I asked that it could perhaps be made to look less frizzy and maybe straighteners/serum be used. He was quite off-ish and said that I had difficult hair (I have relaxed hair which Burlingtons, Toni&Guy and Headmasters have all blow-dried and styled beautifully and without difficulty!) and then went very quickly over it with the straighteners making no difference and then took off the gown. The hairdresser stated that since I was using a voucher, what I have had was actually very good value - basically implying that since I was paying less (despite for the same thing) that he would do less. I was pretty surprised given that these vouchers are supposed to bring in new customers and retain them. So overall I was disappointed and would not return. Without the offer there is no way that I would have paid £88 for that experience.

Place was nice, modern and quite bright. In a good location in the Bromley shopping area. They open quite late so its nice to do some shopping and get haircut at the same time. My stylist was friendly and the cut I got was nice. With the offer, it was definately worth it.

i first visited these guys a few years ago. corinne gave me a brilliant haircut. i was recently in london and looked them up again. jaycen did my hair this time - fantastic. these guys are top shelf, wish they were in sydney as well. great attitude!

I went on a voucher deal to this salon for a cut and blow dry with conditioning treatment. The salon is nicely located near to New Street Station and is nicely decorated.
This isn't a salon where you'll get staff cooing over you and making you feel like a VIP but the service is generally good and the products used deliver results.
I had a stretch test at the start of my appointment to assess the condition of my hair and to determine the range of products that would be chosen for me that day. I thought this was a nice touch as if they were taking my hair type and condition into account to make the most of my appointment.
The conditioning treatment was placed on my hair and I was left under heat for it to take to my hair. This isn't something I usually encounter but I thought it was a fantastic touch. No rushing me out of the salon as quickly as possible and my hair got a real treatment.

Karda Beauty kindly redeemed an expired voucher for me at the end of last year.
It's a nice place and easy to find. Clean, tidy and well decorated.
The staff didn't really pay much attention to me although they were not unfriendly.

The blow dry wasn't the best I had had and took far longer than it has done in other places but with the voucher it was a good deal. The trim was a little uneven...not massively; but you notice when it is your own hair.

It wasn't a bad experience but I probably won't return with or without a voucher.

This is the second time I have been to Blooms and I will be sure to return again after I was once again given an excellent 1.2 head of highlights. I rarely go for 1/2 heads of highlights but Blooms have given me really good coverage both times now and I have been really happy with the results. I am notoriously picky about gettng the highlights as close to my scalp as possible and am happy to say I always come out happy with how they have been done.
My haircut and new fringe was also lovely and the whole trip was entirely positive.

Makeshift salon in a hotel room. When you have your hair done you are supposed to be feel pampered and relaxed. You do not get this here. I had to re-do my hair myself after leaving!

I had damaged hair in a bad shape. Wanted more than a hire cut. Jade the consultant attended to me suggested the most suitable style for me and gave me a very promising hair cut. I am waiting for their next Wahanda offer to get my next cut. I can recommend Michael Barnes to anyone.

I went for a simple cut and blowdry and it was a very pleasant experience. The staff were extremely professional and helpful from the moment I walked in until the moment I left. The facilities were clean and finished to a good standard. The music was what I would expect to hear and enjoy in a hair salon and very importantly, it wasn't too loud. The wash was relaxing and gentle. I was asked how I would like my hair cut and blow dried and suggestions were offered but not forced. This was my first time at this hair salon and my first time using a Wahanda voucher, so I was a little skeptical, but I'm happy to report that all my doubts are gone now. The hair dresser even showed me a way to blow dry my hair to give it more shape and volume. I never knew my hair could do that! I would definitely recommend Blooms Hair!

Very nice salon. Had a nice waiting area that was sent to while treatment was in hair where there was a lovely selection of hot and cold drinks and snacks. I had one person applying the treatment and then another finished it at the end. Both were very good. Thought it was excellent value for money. I was also able to get an appointment to use voucher within same week for an evening appointment which wasnt expecting.

the Academy standart is nice small venue with lovely,friendly staff. i was happy with the treatment i had done.it worked out as a great deal. the only thing i could do without was some things the lady who did my hair said.apart from that she did a great job.

When my dear hairdresser of many years moved away, I was devastated. I tried a salon he'd recommended, but I wasn't impressed. The place was small, crazy like a zoo, and my haircut was not the quality I was used to, this was the first mistake he had ever made. I mentioned it to a friend of mine, and she recommended Burlingtons and New ID studio. I was a little confused about the studio so I went online and saw this place wasn’t just a salon but dealt in what they called makeover photoshoots. This sounded like it could be well worth it and fun to get some nice photographs. I figured it was worth a try, since my friend had sported some great looks, including a stunning style and then she showed me her photos that she had done and I was sold. When I got to Burlingtons and New ID it was like night and day from the salon I'd just tried. It was busy, but a happy, humming, organized kind of busy. Everyone was friendly and helpful. There are lots of stylists and staff for the many customers that were there which is a great sign of a great salon. The salon is clean and open, with a great sense of space, so it never feels crowded even when every seat is filled. Great for people watching! And if there's drama in this salon, I don't see it. This place is professional to the hilt without being sterile or cold. The people who work here are always smiling. I also wanted to mention that the staff here at Burlingtons and New ID studio do not push you to buy the products they sell.

The price was excellent for a west-end salon and the haircut and treatment offered by the very knowledgable stylist was excellent too. instantly felt very welcome, Michael cut my hair, listened to what to my ideas and cut and finished my hair beautifully. Would highly recommend this salon.

Have been a client at The Works Hair & Beatuy for a number of years now. They always move with the times but retain the old fashioned values such as customer service. It took me a long time to find the right salon and they have not disappointed me. I always come away feeling good.

I was very pleased with the salon. I had walked past it hundreds of times, but never went in. It is much bigger than expected, and has a very cozy and hip/vintage vibe. They staff are very friendly, and will offer you hot drinks and magazines. I love the haircut that I received from Emma. I will definitely go again.

It was a lovely salon, easy to book and find and they were all very helpful and asking how I wanted it exactly and I ended up leaving with the perfect do, my hair is coloured and quiet dry but they managed to make it look healthy and glowing for the party I was going to, got loads of compliments!!

New ID studio is the place to go if you are looking to capture a time in your life with a complete makeover and a real professional photoshoot resulting in fantastic photographs. This is not your ordinary photo studio as they have all the equipment to give you such a great makeover first to get the best of you with a great consultation about what you want and are more likely to get. All the staff that I had were truly artists. I have long, straight hair and tend to not expect too much, as most places just trim it and blow dry it. My hair hangs very flat, therefore I went in expecting to get a nice cut, and hopefully an enjoyable experience. Instead, I walked out excited that my hair actually has style. They had cut my hair into layers that gave me shape (while keeping the length). The hardest part of the entire time I spent there was umming and arring about what pictures I wanted and how many and I had to forcibly stop myself from spending a fortune on one of the loveliest picture frames I have ever seen. I will have one but not just yet. When i received my complete set of photos and i loved every one of them. There was no gimmick when I went to Burlingtons and New ID studio and met with the staff. They were very straightforward, easy to talk to and very passionate about their work. So great to find a business like this.

Im not one for bigging up any old business but the way I was treated at this beautiful trendy young feeling salon that had just been suggested to me by my secretary, I felt I had to. She had heard from her friend and this for me is always a great sign and the best advertising ever is by word of mouth. I looked them up online and the website was ok enough for information but I would update the webpage if I was them (that’s my business I will be leaving them a card). I booked in for the icon makeover and photoshoot which got me a new colour cut and style plus a photo session. This was looking like a bargain I was still waiting for the full whack and onslaught from a hard hitting sales pitch for whatever they happened to have on promotion this week. Well I can honestly say I was shocked at the way I was treated by the entire staff and management at Burlingtons and New ID studio and salon. They were one hundred percent faultless. My hair which is the bane of my existence was treated to such a glorious cut and style I was speechless.(which is very rare). The make up girl was so lovely and charming setting me up for the great time I had in the studio for my pictures. The photographer was good not too personal but also not too aloof. And by the time it had ended we did manage to get some stunning pictures of ME. The best find of 2011. Thanks Burlingtons and New ID.

It was my first visit to Shrine. I struggled to book an appointment with one of the senior stylists as she only works part time. I managed to get an appointment, and in general everything was very good. The salon and staff are professional and nice. I was very happy with my treatment and with my haircut. I would probably ho again.

Abstract salon is a lovely friendly salon i always go there for my hair cuts/colours now.
The staff steph,tiff,jayne and grace are warm welcoming and have stayed well past there closing time just to help me with hair disasters!

Only problem was booking as the phone lines are only answered on certain days- but i understand this has been facilitated with an on-line booking facility

Had a hair cut with Claire for the second time and I'm still very pleased with the service! She's been very professional and attentive. She gave me good tips on how to style hair and keep it nice. I would highly recommend this place but for the best result, it's better to bring some pictures of hairstyle that you'd like. I brought mine and I got exactly what I want :)

Katy, my sweet talented stylist, helped me to choose a new hair style, before treating me to a wonderful head massage, during the hair-wash, and warm towel afterwards. Equally attentive whilst cutting & styling my hair, and very considerate of my dizziness. (Vertigo!), all despite her feeling very unwell herself, with a bad cold. Katy is to be commended.
I'm delighted with my new hair-style,(I can even maintain it, myself!) and have had many positive comments from friends, to whom I happily recommend Katy and Vanilla Hair and Beauty.
This was a fab Wahanda offer,....I'm looking forwards to more, so I can return, for more pampering! Others, who I spoke to on the day, were regular, well satisfied clients too.(of both hair & beauty)

I went here for a wash, conditioning treatment, cut and blowdry after purchasing a voucher from Wahanda. First thing to note is that booking was very easy and fuss-free, so I was pleased with that.

The interior is and design of the salon is clean and modern. The chairs in particular were very comfortable, which is always a bonus.

Lauren, the stylist who cut my hair, was very sweet and polite. She offered me a drink as soon as she had finished washing my hair so I felt well looked after from that angle. I felt like she really listened to what I wanted from my hair cut so I was really really pleased with the finish. The only way it could have been better was if she had explained a little bit more about what she was doing - for example, I would have loved to have known what some of the products were as I'm really impressed with the finish.

Overall, I would recommend the salon.

Although I had to wait a bit for the stylist to be available, it was well worth it and there was entertainment and refreshment on hand in the very comfortable waiting area. It was a very professional shampoo, conditioning treatment, cut and blow dry by friendly,expert staff. The salon was excellently appointed, all in all one of the best experiences ever. The only downside was the non-appearance of the promised glass of wine!

REALLY LOVED GECKO!!! Was in London for 3 days and in need of a good hair cut and was very HAPPY ;o) to get one!!! i love it and next time i'm in London will defo go back and the chinese guy that cut my hair was a true Star top marks to him for a fantastic cut and blow dry and having a really fab personality.

The hair stylist went out of the way to suggest different hairstyles that would suit my hair and did a perfectly good job.
Although the deep conditioning treatment could be much better.

I would give this place no stars if i could.
There was a deal on KGB deals saying brazilian blow dry, £59 quid. Bargain - got the voucher on 1 Dec, and made appt the same day for 17 Dec (I work 6 days a week, and Saturday is my only day off).
The lady said fine, booked me in – all good. Two days before my appt, she calls and says there is not enough people working and can I reschedule – to the 24th.
Bit of an inconvenience– but fine.
Turn up on the 24th – Christmas Eve – no one greets you as you walk in the door. Waited for 10 minutes until someone bothers to address me.
Tell them I have an appt – he checks the book and tells me there is no record of it! He then asks me to reschedule – keeping in mind I get ONE DAY off a week – and now TWICE I have had to, what feels like, waste a day on these people.
Contacted KGB deals and they were nice enough to refund me the money. Would not recommend this unprofessional place to my worst enemy. A complete shambles! Glad I didn’t try my hair at this place – imagine how terrible it would turn out if they can’t even take care of paper bookings!

As I was walking down the street one day I saw Burlingtons and New ID studio had a buy one get one free offer. Now me being me that’s all I needed. So I walked in and went to see if I could book an appointment. The salon was spotless and everything was in its place. The receptionist was great and said I could have my makeover done that very day. As I had many new clothes with me that I had just purchased I thought there was no time like the present. So I perused through what it was that they had to offer me. I didn’t need or want to change my colour but the chance of a make over and a professional photoshoot with the choice of choosing and buying which pictures I wanted this seemed like it could be a fun day. And you know what it was so much more than I could have expected. What a great atmosphere to go and get your hair cut at! The service was amazing, and everyone was 100% professional and friendly. I'll be heading back soon -- this place makes me want to go get my hair cut ever 6-8 weeks! Following that the photographer that took my pictures was just so charming and made my session with him an absoloute joy. When I had to choose which pictures I wanted that was a problem there was just too many great ones of me. My new clothes plus my new hair was the best I have looked for an age. This is all down to the place called Burlingtons and New ID studio. 10 out of 10, big tick, gold star!!!!!
