Had the specialised back pain massage at city marshall in central Cardiff. The combination of sports trigger point therapy and Philip's deep insight into acupressure was very effective. The muscle tension, even after the first massage, was much reduced. After the third massage treatment we added more elements of yoga stretches and worked on my ROM mobility. Extremely professional and also deeply reassuring. Philip certainly cares and adds aromatherapy blends as well as some elements of reflexology to the over all effect. My back pain is now much reduced and I am much calmer at work. Highly recommend this blend of therapy to anyone with lower back pain or lumbago.
By the way - the new treatment room with the cosy fireplace is wonderfully luxurious. I start relaxing the minute I enter the treatment room.

we enjoyed all the facilities on offer the sauna was supreme along with the foot ritual and the sauna . The champagne and chocolates were a lovely suprise to finish our treatment.

A long over due thank you to Philip. My husband and I had a combination of Shiatsu and reflexology to support our (5th) IVF treatment. We have tried for almost 8 years and almost gave up. Philip was extremely understanding and informative. He guided us both throughout our year together and gave us a wonderful insight into healthy eating, better sleep hygiene, exercising and of course - his amazing treatments. He is an exceptional therapist and we can not praise him highly enough.

I had a severe back - neck pain for a v long time now.Came across Eastern Natural Care while strolling around in Convent Garden. My 1st treatment wasosteomanipulation which I followed up with hot cupping and accupressure (as suggested). Today after having gone thru all the above mentioned treatments I feel totally relaxed and the back - neck pain which had made life a mess has finally disappreared. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs to relax and get rid of any stress they might have... *****

My reflexology session was very enjoyable. All you can ask for from a professional reflexologist and the facilities were fantastic. Felt very chilled and balanced for days. Excellent reflexology and extremely good value. If you are looking for a reflexologist in Cardiff, and like the added spa pampering touch - this is the best Reflexology session I have ever had. They also do Vertical Reflexology - which is very effective, in even very short sessions

This was quite an interesting but sometimes odd experience. The treatment room is tiny and stuffy, but nicely decorated. Chi is very knowledgeable and entertainingly honest/direct. Don't go expecting much tact or bedside manner. Acupuncture felt wonderful and the sports massage is effective. Glad I tried it.

We have been to the Bridge Hotel & Spa twice now and have enjoyed both occassions
The staff are very professional and make you feel welcome nothing is to much trouble. Looking foreward to our next visit

This is my go to spa for Doha. Like the last reviewer said, Liliana is the most wonderful manager of the most wonderful team and over New Year weekend I was treated like absolute royalty. From their front desk staff to the mind melting massage, to the red carpet ready Hydrating Facial, to the manicure and pedicure that tamed my dragon feet, everything was top-notch!
On a side note, my facial therapist Lizette is absolutely amazing!! She did their new "hydra facial" and my skin was glowing for DAYS! The facial itself is an absolute must in my arsenal now for any personal appearances I do but the facialist herself is the ONLY woman I will allow to touch my face EVER when in Doha.

I went here on the MOB deal. I had already seen from previous reviews that you were offered an upgrade to a deep tissue massage for £10. I decided to do the upgrade and it was one of the better deep tissue massages I have had - I had woken up with a sore back but all that was gone after the massage. Note, a deep tissue massage is not particularly relaxing (I wanted to scream from pain for most of the session) but I knew that is what the massage was like and, as I mentioned before, the results were great! The hot cupping was a bit strange - I tend to bruise quite easily and had marks on my back from the cups for days afterwards (although, I was warned that marks could be left for 24-28 hours). The Dr gives you a free consultant afterwards and recommends certain treatments depending on his verdict - though I didn't feel like there was any hard sell and it was fine to politely decline. I would go back here for a deep tissue massage.

Me and my friend had a great time. The place is beautiful and you feel really relaxed as soon as you get there. The treatment was beautiful. However what let it down was lots of little details (I've been before and it was a perfect last time). No conditioner in the shower and the other shower the bottle was empty... when I told the receptionist there was no conditioner it took 20 mins for the cleaner to bring it in, buy which time we were already showered and dressed. The lockers failed to work and o had to get help. The hairdryer attachments didn't fit on to the nozzle, and the experience shower wasn't working.

the facilities at the spa are great - the hydratherapy pool is fantastic as it the tropical shower area. The treatment was okay - not what I would expect from a 5* spa. The girl was massaging my feet whilst looking as uninterested as possible - looking at the ceiling, out the window, at the floor. Whilst it should have been an enjoyable experience, it was just annoying how disinterested the therapist was. I'd pay to use the spa again, but the treatment isn't really a bonafide treatment - I'm going to guess they give clients to their youngest and least experienced therapists but it doesnt make me want to return for any other treatment.

The staff are friendly and the room's ambience was lovely and relaxing. The history taking was thorough. I was however expecting to pay for one treatment and ended up getting charged for two! I paid for these as they had been received (however two acupuncture needles were accidently left in and had to be removed after the treatment). My warning is one that comes from a knowledgeable background, having attended 3 previous chinese doctors when living elsewhere, as well as doctors in China itself and as a martial artist. The doctor in Alton just wanted my money! She went on and on about how I should pay for 10 treatments. When I said I could not afford that, she then said 5. I said I would have to spread these out, but she was insistent I could just pop them on my card. I explained that I have a young family and bills to pay. For 10 minutes she haggled with me, insisting that as a teacher my wage should cover it!! I am afraid by doing this she has lost any future treatments of myself. I was married to a Chinese man for many years and we are still very good friends, he had warned me that Chinese doctors in this country are not to be trusted. I do not agree entirely with this as the ones at Dr. China in Bournemouth and Martine Niven of Natural Healingalso in Bournemouth are excellent and hide nothing!! The treatments really do work, as do the herbs. Please dont be put off Chinese medicine as it is amazing. However in my opinion, the setting in Alton, is likely to over charge you and give you more treatments than you need.

My family and I have been using Lance Johnson at Suite 7 Massages for the past year and we
loved every minute of our experience. Lance brings a spiritual with incredible
body healing that is astonishing. Both my wife and I suffered injuries from
earlier years of playing competitive sports and Lance has been able to bring
treatment to those injuries. It’s been a year and the pain I used to suffer is
gone. I am seeing positive results in my body with Lance’s body treatments.

Also, our son who is 11 years old and a competitive youth ice hockey goalie has
been using Lance. Our son has been playing in a higher age group (as much as 3
years older), so the game has become much more physical. We were looking for
someone that could help keep my son’s body health in check and give him an
advantage. Lance’s techniques of Russian massages, Shiatsu massage, and cranial
massages have caused a dramatic change in our son’s game and in his body.

We would strongly recommend Lance to anyone. We are a proven example that what
Lance is doing is amazing!

This is not a spa which surprised me, but is a Chinese medical treatment centre and so is straightforward and not beauty orientated with English as a secondary language to Chinese.
However they certainly are seriously knowledgeable about the body and its' ailments. The background form one is asked to fill out, which with most Beauty spas is not paid much attention, here is read and taken seriously. Just from that and then their exploratory massage to understand exactly one's spine and musculature the therapist pinpointed where I was having issues. It wasn't a full massage just the back but very thorough and specific. From that the therapist diagnostian could describe the issues I had been experiencing without me telling him. After that there was a cupping treatment which is to detoxify and improve circulation. I had never had this before but have been told it is good for one.
Afterwards I was told all about my different issues and the appropriate treatments suggested to me.
Normally this is what I hate - the sales pitch to get me to buy treatments, however right from the first in spite of the basic appearance of the place, I was impressed by their unmistakeable knowledge
and ability, so much so that I signed up for 6 more treatments and feel that by chance I came to the right place.

It is a family run business, father, mother, son and daughter. Everyone was very friendly. The facilities themselves though weren't great. It seemed clean, but it was modest to say the least. Good location.

I walked in off the street and was immediately squeezed in for an appointment for a 15 minute "energising" chair massage. My therapist, a quiet, muscular man (I can;t remember his name...John?), sat me down.

I think the chair was not at the right at the correct height, and he did not really take much notice or care to adjust the headrest, arm rest, legs bit or anything really...i felt like I had poor posture and I feel like he should have noticed it as a trained professional. I have had many chair massages, and well I have never felt so awkward and incorrectly positioned.

He did ask what parts I would want him to address, and although I specifically indicated my shoulder, he never actually did it...hmmm....annnoying.

The massage was of high quality however...he demonstrated a real intricate knowledge of deep tissue massage as he really dug in deep and hit the right spots. But between the poor chair positioning and the fact that something was missing from his "bedside manner", the experience was just OK. The cost was £17, so good value overall.

I was lucky enough to have a look around Six Senses yesterday as part of a promotion with Wahanda. Despite having difficulty finding it and walking round in circles several times, when we did finally enter the spa it was well worth the initial frustration of locating it!

The Spa is situated on the third floor of a glam residential block in Canary Wharf and is surprisingly spacious inside. The Reception area is large with impressive earthy chandeliers, the express treatment room cosy with amazing chairs and the treatment rooms we saw were a good size and very well appointed. However the piece de resistance is without doubt the fabulous thermal suite. An amazing hydrotherapy pool dominates the room and the steam cabin, crystal laconium, traditional dry sauna and sensory showers are all equally incredible. One side of the room overlooks the city, so whilst you are in the pool or the sauna you can look out over the cityscape, which is a nice touch.

The overall feeling of the spa is very luxurious and it would be a perfect place to while away a few hours.

I have walked past this location on Brewer Street hundreds of times, and it always looks lovely as it has a little flower shop inside and is so tastefully and colourfully decorated. I have never been inside, but when I stepped inside after deciding to have a 15 minute seated acupressure massage (£17 the treatment menu said on the outside), I really was impressed.

The place smelled fantastic, and there was an aura of tranquility. I paid beforehand, was offered a glass of water and soon thereafter my therapist (a woman named Karen) lef me to one of the special massage chairs that are on the ground floor. The ground floor can be bustling and there is no separation from the waiting area, till and ground floor treatment area so you kind of have to zone out the background noise, and also not think about the fact that people could stare in an watch you while you are getting your treatment, but I have to say that the massage was so good that it was very easy to zone out the background distractions.

There are clever little hooks & drawrs behind the wall that hide away your personal belongings, so i was not worried about my watch or bag. I asked Karen to not do a scalp massage as I don;t really like that part, but she informed me that the rest of the acupressure treatment would involve my back, neck, shoulders, arms & hands.

The pressure was fantastically deep throughout most of the treatment, although I think it would have been nicer to have more deeper muscle manipulation in the arms and forearms/tennis nerve area, and less attention to my fingers. The highlight of the treatment is the part where the therapist performs this circular penentrating movement around my hips, upper glutes and lower back which just sent tingles throughout my entire body (perhaps it was one of my chakra or meridian points?).

It was a fabulous 15 minutes, and I will definitely be back. It looks like there are some very nice treatment rooms upstairs, so perhaps I may try a longer treatment next time. I highly recommend this place.
