The Beauty Therapists were very helpful and attentive - in particular Gayle. We had the back massage followed by the facial which were amazing. The Facial included exfolitation and face masks and I could see a difference in the radiance of my skin immediately.
The treatment rooms were gorgeous. Spacious, nice decor and great ambience. I loved the lantern candles up the hallway to the relaxation room which we used and this was a lovely room also with 4 lungers and a chair and low light which we shared with other users who were also very satisfied with their day.
We used the Gym and did Aqua aerobics which was fun! We used the steam room also.
The only downside was the lunch!!! It was a very sparse chicken caeser salad! This simply was not filling enough even without the use of the Gym and Aqua aerobics that we had just done.
The service and choice over the lunch period was awful. You are set away from the restaurant and there are no menus lying about.
On arrival in the morning you are shown a very limited menu to pick your lunch and we chose a chicken caeser wrap. When we queried with the 2 men who delivered our food they just replied 'that's how it is' . (In their defence I don't think Waiting on tables was there actual job). There was no menu to allow you to choose side orders i.e. bread, chips etc. We were also never given the Wine Menu as promised in the morning and we even had to ask for our bottle of Water and we felt a nusiance to the men as they were unsure what they were doing. I really fancied a Diet Coke but this was more hassle than it was worth.
I asked a Beauty Therapist if we could have 2 bowls of soup (Leek and potato) as well as the lunch was not filling enough - we were charged £12!!!!!
Other Spa users asked the men for bread and were told 'oh I don't know' and 2 other ladies asked for Chips and were told 'no',
I would advise on you arrival when choosing your lunch for the day to see the bar menu for food and drinks to allow you to upgrade and have a choice if required.
