The laser beam passes through the skin without damaging it. The laser light is absorbed by melanin which is the dark pigment within the hair and then converted to heat. This allows a selective destruction of the base of the hair follicle, making it unable to produce hair as it did before. The surrounding skin is unharmed. Normally around 6 to 8 treatments are required, once every 6 weeks for the body and every 4 weeks for the face. However, the number of sessions varies from person to person depending skin type, hair colour, thickness of the hair and the area of the body.

My experience with this Clinic has been very positive. I love the place, it is in central London close to where I work, they said that the laser they use on my skin is the latest technology and indeed it must be as the results have been great. It surprised me that I could pay for the 60% offer in instalments. The only thing that could have been better is to put a sign indicating where to go once you go inside, I did not know that is was on the first floor.
