Reflexology is a healing art which dates back to ancient Egypt, India and China. It is a non-invasive touch therapy involving the application of specific types of pressure and manipulation to points and areas located on all parts of the feet. These are called reflex points and relate to the structures, internal organs and tissues of the body in such a way that the body can be mapped directly onto the feet. Similar principles apply to the hands. By having the whole of the body represented in the feet, reflexology is able to treat the whole person not just the prevailing symptoms. Reflexology treatment relieves tension, improves circulation and promotes natural healing on a physical, mental and emotional level. SPA Reflexology – Includes all of the above with the addition of a relaxing Foot Spa and Foot Scrub and Masque prior to Reflexology session to promote a deeper level of relaxation.
