Crewe Hall could be a great place and in certain areas it is (the hotel is fantastic) but they have a few issues which need addressing, main gripe is that they are allowing regular childrens swimming lessons to take place during the day. This is not acceptable in a 'spa' either its a spa or its a swimming pool/leisure centre but it cannot be both. This spoils what is meant to be a relaxing experience. I also find it unreasonable that the spa try to charge you £5.00 to 'hire' your robe for the day, when I challenged this and made a point of advising that my friend of I were spending nearly a hundred pounds in treatments then we were finally but slightly begrudgingly given the robes without charge. On a plus point the food in the brasserie is lovely and offers good value for money although the wine is way on the high side, the spa treatments were also great!
