Full description

Physiotherapists undergo a three to four year course enabling them to assess and diagnose conditions relating to joints and soft tissues. Their training continues throughout their working life as they will then regularly attend post graduate courses in order to keep their skills and knowledge up to date.

They use a variety of techniques to help improve the condition of muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves and joints that are not functioning normally. A home exercise programme for the patient usually plays a key role in rehabilitation.

A Physiotherapy session may include : mobilisation of joints and soft tissues, massage, exercise or complementary therapies.Most aches, pains and injuries will respond well to Physiotherapy and the Physiotherapist is trained to spot any musculoskeletal conditions that may require treatment from a GP or consultant.

If you attend for assessment please wear appropriate clothing or bring shorts as you may be required to remove some clothes in order for the Physiotherapist to assess your condition effectively.

Good to know: You will need to call the venue directly to book your treatment times once you receive your order confirmation. Any additional treatments should be pre-booked to avoid disappointment and have to be paid directly to the venue. Unless otherwise stated, robes and slippers may incur an additional charge.

Restrictions: 7 days advance notice be given of any prolonged training absences.
