After a long search I found Serene Spa which looked wonderful online. On arrival my friend and I were asked to pay up front which wasnt a problem. Our reception was quite pleasant, new customers I guess!
After a nasty fall in the steam room with no drainage and bruising my hand, I then had a masage which I must say was absolutely wonderful, the therapist was brilliant and really took her time, however the room was freezing-no heating and afterwards I had to dress in tiny cupboard that was supposed to be a changing room, this was even colder then the treatment room as there was no heating again and no-where to sit either. As a therapist myself I know that aftercare of your clients is also very important but it seems that once my money was taken at the door it didnt matter. I didnt even have a chance to complain as no-one bothered to see us out or ask if we'd enjoyed our time at Serene. That will definately be my first and last visit to Serene spa.
