I had a fantastic time today at Nuffield Health Marshall Street. I went there as part as the open weekend, and I am very grateful that the centre was open to the general public for free.
The whole building has been tastefully redecorated and refurbished and I was so impressed with the swimming pool, which is completely lined with marble and there's even a fountain that reminded me of the Gellert Spa in Budapest.
Everything was spotless, which is vital for wet areas. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful.
I tried the sauna as well, shame they don't have a jacuzzi...
I will go back on a pay as you go basis as I am not residing in the area (residents get a hefty discount), and for swimming it's a reasonable £5.25 per visit. Highly recommended.

Terrible Terrible Terrible! I have joined this center in November 2010 and I have found the terms and conditions of joining very non- flexible, unfriendly staff and the facilities to be less than average. To take a shower is a nightmare(water stops every 5 seconds and you have to press a button for this to start again), no female staff on ladies day at the spa which is ridiculous and last class starts at 6:45 PM on workdays and there are no classes in the afternoon on weekends. Would def. NOT recommend!
