For only $39.99, this was a great value & high quality massage. I admit that I had low expectations going in given the price (I had a coupon for an introductory massage offer), and the location since it is in a bland, cookie-cutter strip mall (like everything in Houston!).

I walked in and I was blown away at how nice the reception area was - the colours were lovely, and the receptionist was extremely friendly. My therapist Eric led me through some moroccan inspired wood doors into a lovely therapy room. The massage table was very comfortable, but most impressive was that when i lay face down, the face support was the BEST face support mechanism I have ever had in a massage. There was no bar near the chin which can sometimes feels like you are being choked, and the towel + a super high fibre count sheet made my face feel so comfortable. Big marks here!

Eric asked me what areas I wanted focused on and performed some deep tissue massage an trigger point therapy on my back. Wow, the trigger point treatment was amazing - he really worked deeply into my nerves to the point where I felt like a cat who was grabbed by the scruff of my neck! I could really feel it helping my back knots and my shoulder as well.

The 50 minutes flew by, and I must say Eric was fantastic - great bedside manner, and fantastic technique. A couple of things I think could have been better - given the intensity of the treatment, I have had other therapists who have encouraged me to breathe deeply and make sure i keep breathing, so this instruction would have been helpful. Additionally, the oils used were great in that they were non-sticky and not oily, and they had no smell, but maybe they could have offered some that have nice aromas? Also, would have been great if they had offered to run a hot towel on my back after the treatment just to remove some of the excess oil. Also, some eye patches to cover my eyes when I turned over would have been nice to protect against the light, although the lighting was comfortabley dim.

Otherwise, this place is fantastic! I would highly highly recommend this place, and also Eric - he was great!
