Horrible experience. The salon is nothing like the description on this site, it is a very modest local salon (and certainly not in the heart of Roundhay) with very unfriendly staff. My stylist barely spoke 10 words to me throughout (she did not even introduce herself to me) and made little attempt to ask me what I wanted doing (and she only did that after she had washed my hair, which made it very difficult to see how my hair naturally lies). She kept on dropping her tools and hacked away indiscriminately at my hair until I asked her to stop before she did any more damage. The owner was most rude and unhelpful. I have been left with a mangled hairdo with layers so short they will take months to grow out. Most upsetting.
