I was lucky enough to have the owner of the salon, Linda Meredith, to be my therapist for my facial, and it was amazing. Linda is so knowledgeable about skin that not only did I learn a few things, but she completely customised my treatment and gave me the LM "haute couture" facial using her own personally designed formulations and products. She also used a modern microdermabrasion machine (apparently it has a diamond in the suction head, as opposed to the harsher prior method which involves using pieces of crystal) to clear up some impurities in my skin after a very thorough extraction of dirt from my pores. The microdermabrasion felt like having a Dyson hoovering my face!

I have to say that it was a remarkable facial because of the level of customisation of the treatment based on my particular skin. For that level of personal attention, I will definitely be back.

And oh yes, I learned that I should shave before a facial (makes the treatment much more effective, and the therapist is able to better address my entire face).
