What am amazing experience and a magical place. My friend and I had a Hammam experience which is a Moroccon body cleansing treatment that prepares the body for a deep tissue massage.
The spa is intimate, beautifully decorated and presented, with very professional yet friendly approachable staff. There is a hot tub and pleasantly designed courtyard, relaxing areas as also a small chillout room with comfortable seating.
The unusual treatment procedure was explained to us. It was a bit complex but the different products were already prepared in little bowls and in order of use. It was fun but messy! The only thing that I was surprised about was the assumption that we would both be in the therapy room for our massages. One was instructed to lay down on a heated bench type seat while the other received the massage. I found the room too hot and stuffy while I waited. I would prefered to have waited in the chillout room until it was my turn. I would raise this issue with the staff when I return for another treatment. We had a fantastic day and we felt very relaxed after the experience. I would recoommend this spa and the Hamman experience to others. I found it to be a very special place.
