I visited Fordham Soho around the beginning of March because I had purchased the Wahanda Mob Deal (£47 haircut for £15). I was a little concerned that I might end up regretting the decision (to save money) & end up with a horrible haircut to grow out, as happened the last time I cheated on my regular stylist.
I had been very happy with my usual stylist of about 4 haircuts (at Vision, Brick Lane) so part of me felt silly to take a chance, but I am freelance & hadn't worked much this year so the other part of me felt silly not to do it.

My first impressions of the salon were that although it seemed modern, it was a little rough around the edges.
If you choose an interior design with a lot of mirrors & shiny surfaces, then they need to be very clean & polished. There was a large crack in one surface & some chips on another & I thought the mirrors could be cleaned a little better if they want to retain the glossy image it seems they are aiming for.

HOWEVER.....If you see beyond the tiny details, the coffee bar is a nice touch & the most important thing is the cut.
I am happy to say that I love it. Not just like it, but I think it's even better than it's been in a long time. My stylist was Alex & she had to deal with my very fine hair which had grown out from a bob with some layers cut 4 months ago. I went in looking like I'd stepped out of the seventies (in a bad way) & came out feeling like a million dollars & I couldn't be more stylish.
I had explained to Alex what I wanted & was not too specific & then she cut it as I requested, but it just looked so much better than I had imagined.
I am looking forward to going back next time without question.
