Surrounded by fields and with a small lake, Babington House is the perfect spot to get away from any busy schedule and relax. I had a Holistic Massage at the Cowshed spa where I was led by a therapist into a small tent by the lake close to the spa. The tent and the massage were both equally relaxing, with scented candles surrounding the massage bench, and a well qualified therapist, combining for a truly soothing experience. Babington House is great to unwind with family or friends, however, if you are planning on going with small children, then be aware that there are specific children hours- this can be quite limiting, but does allow for adults to go and relax out of these hours. There is also a creche for small children if you want to have time away from it all! If it is your first time to Babington House and the Cowshed, try out the Eucalyptus steam room by the inside pool, and also grab a hammock by the lake for a chill out.
