I 'M A LICENSED ESTHETICIAN BASED IN NEW YORK CITY AND ARE EXPERIENCE IN LASH EXTENSIONS, LASH & BROW TINITING AND EYE BROW SHAPING
I JUST READ ABOUT A LASH TREATMENT CALLED LASHDIP. IT IS A SEMI PERMANENT LASH COATING WHICH IS DESIGNED TO AVOID MASCARA MISHAPRS LIKE SMUDGING AND RUNNING ITS DARKES THE LASHES AND ENHANCES THE LENGTH OF THE EYELASH. THIS TREATMENT IS SAID TO LAST UP TO SIX WEEKS
DOES ANY ONE KNOW MORE ABOUT THIS TREATMENT?
DO YOU BELIEVE THAT THIS PRODUCT CAN TAKE THE PLACE OF EYELASH EXTENSIONS AND OR MASCARA?
Treatments:
Eyebrow and Eyelash Treatments, Facials, Makeup Treatments
Can you help out?

I am also in the eyelash extension world. I have received an email about upcoming training in our area. I have not had any of my eyelash clients ask about this service, nor have I seen it written about in any fashion magazines, as a new must try beauty service. The training classes are also steep, so I am hesitant to invest in something that is unknown, and clients have not requested.

Hi there! I don't like the sound of this as it may be harmful to the lash - make sure you fully research this before you take the plunge!! Tracey x

I read about this treatment here http://www.britishbeautyblogger.com/2010/11/trend-alert-semi-permanent-mascara.html, but have not seen anything about it elsewhere yet.
I'll see if I can find out some more info in order to write an introductory Wahanda blog on the procedure, as I'm sure the lack of requests from clients is partly due to very few people having heard about it/what it involves!

I am intriged to see how they dip the lashes, it costs $200 last 6 wks, I can see how it would work for the busy woman who wants to get up and gooooooooo. good for celebs in the Jungle too, girl friends waking up to the new boy friend without the smudges etc.

I would think that this is just another version of lash tinting? Another name brand, same procedure and results. I too read virtually everything that I can get my hands on regarding skin care, products, equipment, etc. and I have not yet come across any such procedure. I would be curious to hear more about it and to find out about the company behind it?
I also attended a large skin care conference this summer and did not see or hear about any such new procedure.

I thought the effects of this product would be similar to lash tiniting as well. I am looking forward to hearing more about it i think that it has the potential to meet the needs of some of my clients especially the ones who use mascara , eyelash enhancing products and even lash extensions.I think in 2011 this company is going to be making a lot of noise . meaning we will be hearing more about this and from then can decided if it is an appropriate for the needs of your client
if you hear anything please keep me posted

I'm a copywriter here at Wahanda and I've been in contact with LashDip themselves. Keep a look out- we hope to add some info about the treatment to the site soon!
It's only available in the USA at the moment, but we'll make sure you're the first to know when it makes it over to the UK.

i think that it is our job to introduce the clients to some of these new services a lot of time cients wont know about a new procedure until it is become in demand by celebrities. but some clients like to feel exclusive and want to be the first to try a product !
