Typically, vitamin supplements containing Biotin, help with hair growth stimulation, as well as nail growth and skin clarity. (Nourishment for hair, skin and nails). Besides containing Biotin, they will also contain various other ingredients that work with the Biotin content. Supplements of this or any other kind, tend to take approximately 30 days or more to begin working. This is assuming that you will take the supplement, as recommended, on a consistent basis.
Also, for hair growth stimulation, you may want to try Nioxin hair products or Rogaine.
And for nail growth alone, you can try gelatin tablets.

Skin cells need plenty of vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids and this is a key to beauty on the outside.
Essential fatty acids are the guardians of your skin by keeping toxins out and stimulating the production of collagen. If you want all those expensive moisturisers and skin treatments to easily absorb into your skin, essential fatty acids supplementation is a key to increase this absorption. Otherwise, skin cells loose their ability to hold any nutrients. Food sources: e.g. nuts, soybean, canola oil, walnut oil, flaxseed oil, cold water fish such as salmon, bluefish, herring, tuna, cod, flounder, mackerel.
Vitamin A, C, E – a powerful boost of antioxidants that fight those ‘bad boys’ – free radicals and can prevent damage to your body cells or repair damage that has been done. Food sources: e.g. wheat germ, nuts (almonds), seeds, whole grains, green leafy vegetables, broccoli, mangos, soybean oil and fish-liver oil.
Zinc helps healing the skin, prevents acne by regulating the oil glands and is involved in metabolism of protein, carbohydrates and energy. Food sources: e.g. beans, lentils, wholegrain cereals, pumpkin seeds.
Aloe Vera – the medical properties of Aloe Vera were praised by ancient civilizations of Egypt, China, Greece, Rome, India, and Arabia. Aloe Vera includes:
- minerals (calcium, sodium, iron, potassium, chromium, magnesium, zinc, manganese and copper)
- vitamins (A, B1, B2, B6, B12 (the aloe vera plant is one of the few plants in the world to contain vitamin B12), C, E, Folic Acid and Niacin.
- fatty acids (plant steroids with anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties)
- amino acid which help constructing protein in our body.
- a natural antiseptic which can help to lower body temperature – you probably use Aloe Vera externally on the skin for cuts, bruises, rashes, sunburn.
The skin replaces itself every 28 days. Aloe Vera supplements can be a rich supply of raw materials to your diet as the skin can use these nutrients daily to help combat the effects of ageing, help the body to cleanse the digestive system and help to increase your energy levels.

I have tried the Elemis Tri-Enzyme facial and i found my skin tone evened out by just one facial. My forehead was slightly darker than the rest of my face and I noticed my blemishes went slightly. I would recommend you have a course of treatments for the treatment to effectively work.
Thanks
