I have naturally curly hair and I am going on holiday in just under two weeks. I understand that I cannot have my hair coloured after the brazilian, so is it possible to have my roots coloured and then the Brazilian done within days of each other?
I want to prevent my hair going frizzy in the heat or when I come out of the pool.
Treatments:
Keratin Conditioning Treatment
Can you help out?

The brazilian should be done after the hair color, it is the only way to get it same day together. If happens that you get the brazilian before hair color then you must minimum 4 days. Another question: why brazilian?, you do not know that the best is the tradicional japanese thermal relaxer?, read in the attached source.

It's best if u color your hair first otherwise u have to wait two weeks. The reason u wait two weeks is because the blowout puts a protein protective layer on your hair, the color will not penetrate through that layer and give u the colors true color therefore u need to wait two weeks. When u color your hair first the color will get locked under that protein layer and keep it from fading as fast. So my suggestion would be to alwYs color first but it is ok to color after if your roots can wait two weeks

Hi EmmaB70.
With the keratin product I use (Beox), you can have your hair coloured a week before the BBD. Shop around though, some salons may be using different products that allow a shorter time between colour and BBD.

You can colour and then BBD on the same day, infact both services will take better if you do.

hi, yes you can have your colour and brazilian blowdry all in the same visit to the salon, definately best to colour first but can be done all in one day t save time for you and getting ready for your hols x you have to be carefull with chlorine in the pool on holiday though as this cause the hair to go back to its natural state much quicker than normal, although humidity wont effect it at all.

Absolutely do both same day, colour first then the blow dry....it works better on coloured, dry, hightlighted, unruly hair. But , Check to find out what system they use as there are so many. The Inoar wash same day one is brilliant. Good Luck x

the best way to do it is the same day is not a problem or you wait a week

I would definitely suggest doing color prior to the straightener and this also depends on which brand of straightener you are using in the hair. Always make sure you have a thorough consultation with your stylist prior to any chemical treatments.
