I can't say "best" because that depends on you and the therapist and why you are looking for help sleeping.

Hot stone is very, very relaxing.

So is a slow, gentle Swedish massage.

If the problem is pain or having a hard time finding a comfortable position, deep tissue, trigger point, or connective tissue (myofascial) might help more. But those are less relaxing.

The warmth of the massage with a light sweedish massage combined will probably put you to sleep during the massage, very relaxing.

Stone massage therapy combined with Swedish massage is a deeply relaxing experience. The 'best' treatment depends on your individual needs and the reason(s) you are not able to sleep. You should discuss this with your therapist, who may be able to recommend activities such as meditation, yoga, pilates, deep breathing, or further massage treatments as well as changes to your lifestyle to reduce stress or make time for yourself.

I've had clients tell me they slept really well after receiving a Swedish body massage, so it definitely depends on the individual. I personally find that Indian head massage relaxes me a great deal. If I'm relaxed, then I usually sleep well. I would start with a full body Swedish massage or an Indian head massage since these treatments are usually less expensive than stone massage and may be just as effective for you.
