Botox is a botulism toxin used to temporarily paralyze muscles which cause age lines whereas Juvederm is a filler which is used to plump up and fill out the skin composed of hyalauronic acid.

I just wanted to add a few details and clarity. There are difference between the various dermal fillers that one can find on the market these days.
When looking to have fillers for the first time it is imperative that you understand that there can be hyaluronic acid based fillers (e.g Restylane or Juvederm, Macrolane, Perlane), calcium hydroxyapatite based fillers (e.g Radiesse) or poly-l lactic acid based fillers (e.g Sculptra).
They each work in different ways and all have their own contraindications (reasons not to treat that is). There are certain areas that should not be treated with Radiesse, notably the lip body for example.
Therefore, when it comes to fillers make sure you know what exact filler it is and also ask questions about where it can and can't be used on the body. If your cosmetic doctor/practitioner is not aware of the risks or cannot adequately explain the pitfalls, then I would advise you politely thank them and leave.
Remember, it is better to be safe than become a victim of rogue injectors.

Hyaluronic Acid is used as a moisturizer and it is something we produce in our joints. It holds a 100 times it's weight in moisture which is why it makes a great dermal filler. On a molecular level it is much smoother than say Restylane.

Botox relaxes the muscles of facial expression and is a useful treatment and prevention for lines across the forehead, frown lines between the eyebrows and laugh lines on the outside of the eyes. Its most commonly used in the upper part of the face.
Juvederm is a hyaluronic acid filler wich fills in deeper lines and folds that are present even when you are not smiling or making any facial expression. It is usually used for the lines that go from the sides of the nose to the mouth, from the mouth towards the chin and can also be used to plump up the lips and fill out the cheeks and enhance them. It is usually therefore used in the mid and lower face.
I hope this helps!

Botox is used to relax the facial muscles thus reducing the wrinkles. The common places for Botox to be injected would be the areas around the forehead, frown and eyes.
Juvederm is a dermal filler which gives an instant lift to skin. It is used in areas which have lost volume or just require a volume boost such as the nose to mouth lines, cheeks and lips.
