As an eczema sufferer, can anyone say they have seen good results from an Indian head message?

massage can be a solution. avoid rubbing anything though into the active eczema areas of concern. A healing session could also be worth a try.

As Eczema can be stress related, it would be a great idea to go for some massages to try and re-balance yourself.
Indian head massage is particularly good for high stress levels, anxiety levels, insomnia and depression.
Good luck!

Hi There
Eczema is usually caused by stress or a food intolerance, Indian head massage will help relax you and if they use an almond oil that can help hydrate the scalp and will help also with circulation. Try avoiding any shampoos that contain sodium laureth sulfate this is in majority of shampoos which will dry and irritate the scalp more I have tried so many different shampoos but have have found this one the best a though its for babies its so gentle and effective https://www.arbonneinternational.co.uk/shop_online/showitem.asp?ProductId=850&menuId=18&withLinks=1 you will need this code to purshase it 441080539
Also take some supplements such as your omegas there is one called Dr udos oil which is fantastic helps keep moisture in the skin as well as balance out your hormones and reduce inflammation , Also be aware of what your eating and see if its certain food that bring it on alternatively you could go for a food intolerance test.
You can have a look at my blog which lists certain chemicals to look out for in products and why. I hjave also written about homemade hair oild you can do this will also help too
I hope this helps

Hi, Indian head massage is a great stress reliever and eczema can get worse due to stress, so why not give it ago! :)

Hi, if is stress related - Indian head massage can help for sure.
As a nutritional therapist I would also consider possible food intolerance's and other external triggers. Antioxidants and minerals can help ease the symptoms and balance your body. Send me an e-mail to let me know where it is on your body and how long you have been suffering from it from. I may be able to give you some additional tailored tips. I have had great results with nutrition with previous clients suffering with eczema.

Hi, Indian Head massage along with a large range of holistic therapies will help with eczema as it is quite often aggravated by stress. It can also occur at the change of seasons such as now simply due to the way we cover up more or vice versa when going into warmer times. If the eczema is running high I would avoid any therapy that rubs as it could make it worse unless you don't have any on the area to be worked on, having said that a nice massage wax can also be beneficial to the skin and sooth and soften it again. If it's too acute, try a Reiki treatment, it will reduce the effects of stress and therefore help calm the skin.
Keep hydrated too, the wind and cold has a very drying effect this time of year.

Thank you for your advice, as a sufferer for nearly 15 years I have found it so fustrating to try to control, let alone manage. Really appreciate the reply, thanks.

Hi: Indian head massage along with any relaxation massage therapy could help with Eczema given it is a very stress busting treatment. Mixed with some aromatherapy it could be even more helpful.
I've seen some good results with both treatments, give it a try.
Keep well
