You don't say how long your hair is? I would advise a thorough consultation as each cut depends on hair type, face shape etc. and it is impossible to advise you without seeing you. if you wanted to smooth the hair straight you could opt for a Brazilian blow dry/keratin treatment.

Best thing to do is go and talk to a stylist. Let see and feel what they will be working with.
Most salon will do a consultation for free.
Have you ever tried any sort of relaxer to help tame the frizz?

Hi there are many things you can do to tame the fizz I would suggest using an intensive treatment regularly and a good qualiy conditioner and alway come the conditioner through the hair before washing it out to smooth the cuticals down.
If you would prefer to have your hair straight and smooth the Brazilian blowdry is brilliant.
Frizzy hair is usually more controllable when it is longer without too much layering and it needs some weight to weigh it down.
Leave in conditioners and oils will also help.
