Are organic skin peels just as effective as chemical skin peels? And do they have different effects? How important are peels (is it like exfoliation, which I keep hearing is necessary for your skin)? And how often should one do it?

Treatments:
Chemical Skin Peel

Most chemical peels come from nature. Widely acclaimed in scientific circles, Glycolic Acid is thought to be the most effective and suitable fruit acid for cosmetic application. This is the Antiaging fountain of Youth. Since Glycolic Acid has the smallest molecular structure of all Glycolic Acid - AHAs, it is believed to possess the greatest penetration potential. When compared to most other cosmetically used AHAs (i.e. lactic, citric, tartaric, etc.) Our formula and Home Chemical Peel products are proven the MOST EFFECTIVE for skin care! The Doctors favorite.

Yes. Exfoliation is really the basis for great skin care. It takes away dry, dead skin that is just sitting there. Makeup application on skin that isn't properly exfoliated can look cakey no matter how light of an application.

I am a huge fan of chemical peels! Organic or not most peels do come from nature. Fruit, lactic (milk) acids are all found in nature. However organic I feel is an over used buzz word. It's not regulated enough to really know for sure.

As far as how often it depends on what results you want. I really can't say for sure since this is a message board and I can't see you in person, but common sense on my part tells me at least only once a month. But I have seen some people do it more. Not sure I think its any better since our skin turns over every 28-35 days for people of a certain age.

My best advice is to seek out a licensed esthetician and get some in person time. I really can't say too much without seeing your skin.

Hope this helps!

Depends, for what you need it for, and sevarety. As you get older, the skin has a hard time regenerating new skin. Also, you loose that youthful glow, when you don't exfoliate.
