A good facial that actually includes extraction I think could help, as has worked very well for me. Most reputable salons that offer a dermologica facial would be good - I recommend Scin salon, http://www.wahanda.com/place/scin-central-london/ or if you've got a bigger budget then the facial specialist to many celebrity clients is Linda Meredith, http://www.wahanda.com/place/linda-meredith-knightsbridge/.

Both have great reviews and do offer extraction, which I've always found difficult to find as not always included at many salons.

Hello there, at the clinic we often get this type of skin complaint - its best to get a thorough skin analysis to assess the skin, then a course of microdermabrasion and peels will help to speed up skin renewal and rid the skin of grease, oil and dirt that may be exacerbating the problem. Also a good skincare range such as SkinScription will help to maintain the results at home

It is important to keep the skin clean and well moisturised.
Avoid products with any alcohol content and don’t be tempted to try and dry out the skin.
Use milk cleansers as they clean very well but also leave good moisture levels on the skin. Exfoliate twice a week with a gentle face scrub, don’t use a daily scrub, this is too harsh for facial skin.
Use clay based masks twice a week
Cleanse tone and moisturise every day, twice a day.
I have a 16 year old daughter who has recently had acne prone skin and just putting her on these simple weekly skincare steps has made a huge difference.
Moisturise with a lotion rather than a cream in the day time, also purchase some facial rice papers, they are great for removing excess oil from the forehead and chin during the day.
If you can’t afford regular facials (and let’s face it not all of us can) go once and ask them to give you tips on a weekly treatment you can give your skin at home ...or email me, i would be happy to send you a list of types of products and a weekly routine to help you.
Eat fresh fruit and drink water a little more then you usually would..this will help cleanse the skin from the inside
Be aware of keeping your hands clean and how many times you touch your face....and last of all DONT WORRY ....it will pass as long as you look after you skin well :o)

Hi
You should try a deep skin cleansing, with steam, a good mask.
Black heads can be removed with steam and by hands, with a professional beauty therapist.
thanks

A deep facial treatment using good quality product (such as dermalogica) will treat it well. You might need few facials over a period of 2 to 3 months. Please contact me if you are in the West Yorkshire Area.

A course of medical grade skin peels, microdermabrasion in conjuction with a face wash containing salycic acid such as the Agera range would help dramatically.

Try and go for a facial which involves steaming and extraction. If that fails, I'd recommend to go to your doctor for some advice.

Hi fartun,
i would recommend a deep cleansing facial and a regular facial routine at least twice a week as this should help regulate the problem

Dermalogica have a specific range called Medibac that would help clear the skin of any problems such as acne or they also have products designed for all skin types so the therapist would use the exact products to suit your skin. Spots are caused by a build up so having a facial regularly would really help as it deep cleanses the skin and the steam and extraction clears blackheads. Try to exfoliate the skin at least 2-3 times a week x

Seek a professional for extractions of the blackheads and use products containing alpha and beta hydroxy acid, retinols and hydroquinone for lightening the dark spots (hyperpigmentation).

It is most likely a sun spot or "age spot". We have a gel that is used for "spotted" areas only, called Knockout- in our P-Complex skin care line created by our owner/founder-Gigi Ashbeck.
