Talk with her bring a pic of what u have in mind then u can have something to go off of.... she should be asking you how u style in the morning if u blowdry what kinds of products u use. Make sure ur feeling good about the person if not find new stylist in ur area

Pictures are a big help for a stylist to determine the look your trying to acheive.

Pictures from styling/fashion magazines or even of yourself with your favorite style and color.
Let your stylist know how much time and the styling tools you use on a daily basis. Discuss the current likes and dislikes you currently have with your hair.If you feel you both are still not on the same page, you may want to consider a new stylist.
