Being something of a wordsmith, I dabble in writing - here, there, and wherever I can. I adore clean lines, indulgent afternoons and my boisterous terrier, Missy.
The venue was easy to find given its central London location. It was clean, chic and spacious. The receptionist was quick to greet me and I was introduced to my hairdresser within 5 minutes. A member of staff offered me a drink then I was led to professionally decorated room at the back of the salon which is used for washing hair. The products smelled delicious and the experience was pleasant.
Unfortunately from here it went a little down hill: my hairdresser didn't speak great English so I found it hard to communicate the classic cut I was after. He rushed my cut, telling me "it will be over soon". The cut was very choppy with no real style. To be frank, the hairstyle and cut I entered the salon with was better than what I left with. The cut was swift, there was no real swish or delicacy to the cut. It appeared as if the hairdresser had taken little time to assess the desirable nature of a new haircut or style. To make matters worse, I was made to pay double than what was stated on the website. I would not return.
