I was gifted vouchers for a birthday treat and was thrilled to find somewhere local that offered medical pedicures. I'm not overly fond of my feet being touched and steeled myself in order to give my tootsies some love and attention they deserved.

Booking was very easy over the phone, the receptionist was very helpful and the great service continued as I stepped into the salon, early for my appointment. I was given the most delicious lemon & ginger tea (where did they find those teapots? They are so cute!) and a host of magazines to keep me company while I waited for my allotted appointment slot.

The treatment itself was perfect - my troublesome, sensitive feet were carefully attended too and the special foot spa chairs were very comfortable, too. My toenails were painted perfectly (still no sign of chipping 4 weeks on!) and it was also very nice to be helped back into my flipflops and helped down the step after such a deeply relaxing treatment.

I was thrilled with the entire experience and I am also very grateful for the advice given on suitable foot files. I also appreciated the customer service questionnaire despatched separately via email a couple of days later, and the personal message regarding my (positive) feedback.

When I go back for my next treatment I will make sure I get my nails done too! Faultless and well worth paying that little bit extra ...

My first visit was with two friends who were experienced floaters. Although I suffer from claustrophobia I had done enough research to calm myself before the float session; the pod rooms were very clean and the staff were very knowledgeable and reassuring. I wasn't brave enough to close the pod lid on the first session but I was still plenty warm enough; the experience was every bit as fantastic as I had hoped, although I found it difficult at first to completely relax.

The only thing I would have liked as an option was to select a guided meditation track as this would have made it the ultimate experience for me! Oh, and a separate small towel (or face flannel) on hand would have been enormously helpful.

Soft, gentle music close to the end of the session meant a gentle introduction back to the real world and we all left feeling like marshmallow's, so relaxed that we struggled to piece together a conversation over lunch.

There was also a small area where you could make yourself look presentable (hairdryers etc.) which was very welcome and well-equipped.

The reception area could do with a real lick of paint and a general update but I am sure I heard that they were hoping to move to bigger premises soon. However, that does not really detract from the whole float experience and I cannot wait to go back there!
