What a surprisingly lovely neat little place. Being bang on the main road of Notting Hill Gate, I've walked past this spa so many times thinking it was going to be a dump like most main road establishments but once you go in it's instantly very much upscale Spa-ey. It can't be compared to a hotel spa, as being on the main road, it's still quite noisy, so if you're looking for total relaxation this place might not be it, but the space inside is so clean, airy, decorated really neutral and modern and the staff are all friendly and very well trained.
The treatment rooms aren't little dungeons either and are very tidy, spacious and bright. The toilets were well done too (sign of a good spa that isn't cutting corners) and the manicure/pedicure lounge is nicely done up.
I had Wendy do my waxing and eyebrows, and she is very pleasant, quick and skillful. For my pedicure I had Aga do it for me and she was really thorough and again, very pleasant. The paint job is done impeccably.
This place is not much more expensive than any of the American style nail bars in the area and is a much much much better experience.
Can't wait to be back!
One word of advice: Book in advance. This place is really popular.
