Namit has been studying yoga for many years.
His classes focus on having fun and enjoying yourself as to him yoga takes the student closer to a state of relaxation and happiness and being in a state of happiness is at the heart of yoga practice.
As the classes are new they are all suitable for beginners.
The classes are designed to focus on the wide health benefits of yoga - offering good exercise without pushing the student too far. The classes are intended to leave the student feeling relaxed and rejuvenated afterwards.
The student is encouraged to focus on his/her own practice and development and enjoy progressing at his/her own pace. The focus is non-competitive and is based more on self development and enjoying the class.
Traditional hatha yoga focuses on holding postures for a few breaths allowing the body to open up, strengthen and relax.
Ashtanga vinyasa yoga focuses on moving from one posture to another and helps with cardiovascular (heart) health as well as the other benefits of yoga.
The classes are based on traditional hatha yoga but also use elements of ashtanga vinyasa yoga to help with strength and cardiovascular health.
Long term practice of the yoga also gives a strong sense of peace.
Because Namit has learnt yoga in a very traditional way his classes also include some pranayama (breathing techniques) and also some meditation practice as well as the asana (posture) exercises.
But remember always to tell us what benefits you want from the classes because the classes are your classes too.
