Both my friend and I purcahsed a Groupon voucher so thought we'd go together. As we both hadn't ever had the procedure done before, didn't really know what to expect but the company is about as large as my living which houses 2 massage beds and a space within the room acting as a receptin area. If you want privacy, don't go for this company in Canary Wharf as you'll be greeted with the next or previous partient waiting for their turn whilst watching you rinse your mouth out between sessions. The therapist quickly ran through the necessities and conducted a shade test to gauge the colour of the teeth before treatment. Anyway, we were both led to our separate beds and lay through this for about 39 minutes. Although the description says x3 15 minute sessions, in reality each laser sessions is for 13 minutes. When done, a shade test was done again and apparently I was 10 shades lighter and my friend was 6. Once we reached outside and checked our teeth, my friend was not convinced that her teeth were lighter at all as they were still quite yellow and as for mines, well they were a tad lighter but nothing noticeable. I'm just glad the voucher wasn't for more money. we also got a further voucher of £50 to return at a later date. the professionalism of the lady was questionable. Whilst my friend and i were lying there, she was constantly on the phone talking about what her friend did to her over the weekend and finding out solutions to appease the situation. As riviting as it was, I would have preferred silence or easy listening music!!!! WHen we left the studio, my friend asked me whether I thought the lady was qualified as everything seemed quite rushed and not what is usually expected of any service. Very strange indeed. Anyway, a month later, i decided to use my £50 return voucher for another full session as i'm sure my teeth were not white from the first session. so i duly called their office to book an appointment not realising that i could do this online. anyway, when she answerered the phone, i said i'd like to book an appointment. i was told she had a client and to hold on the line... which i did... so I waitied.... and waited.... and waited.... all whilst i was again hearing a conversation between her and her mother this time about some other personal situation with a friend and solutions on what to do.... OK, at this stage i knew she must have forgotten about me, then it was silence... at this stage i knew she had left the office! Anyway, i ended up booking the treatment online. so i turned up for my appointment and this time it was another lady who acted as the therapist. after my session, i realised the first lady was a lot more professional than this one (and that's saying something!). This new lady didn't even dry my teeth before placing the gel onto them which I hear is crucial to the effectiveness of the whitening process. so after i rinsed my mouth, i took a tissue and quickly wiped my teeth dry. Also, the televison was on very loud showing some dull American comedy like 3rd rock or will and grace or something equally rubbish. there were other customers coming in to get their teeth done and i noticed they were first timers. The therapist rushed through the preliminaries then hopped them on the bed to start the treatment. Then when they were finished, she told two separate clients their teeth were 10 shades lighter. i had to laugh because i'm sure the clients weren't thinking that and just went along with it. she didn't consult nor discuss much to the new customes which at least the other lady did. Terrible service. I keep seeing the same type of reviews for this particular stuido in canaary wharf and wonder why their head office hasn't pulled this particular pracice up about how they operate. It's crazy!!! Will definitely not be going there again. I'll definitely be getting my teeth whitened but will get this done elsewhere as I feel this company may be ripping us off!
