We had a very enjoyable one night unwinding spa break. The accomodation was superb and the facilities excellent. The evening dinner menu was a little traditional for our tastes and one dish was unavailable due to 'overpopularity'? All in all very good value for money.

My friend and I took my daughter as a birthday treat. When booking I was told there would be two therapists attending to us but on the day there was just the one as they had decided to do staff training that day. We were disappointed by this as it meant we that we had less time to enjoy the facilties together as we always seemed to be waiting for each other to finish having their treatments. By the time we finished our treatments and made our way to the pool children's swimiing lessons were in progress limiting swimming areas - especially when they started working their way around the circumference of the pool. We retreated to the 'hot tub' - this was not 'hot' as it was linked to the pool and used the same water. For some strange reason you had to exit the pool in order to turn the hot tub on then climb back into the pool to enter the hot tub. The seating in the hot tub was very low (I'm 5ft 7' so not short) we had to support ourselves with our hands in order to remain afloat. The chlorine fumes when the hot tub was on were so overpowering we had to exit befor the bubbles had finished. In conclusion the venue and staff were nice but more attention to needs of the client need to be thought about.

The hotel itself was fabulous - a main building where the dining and bar area is. We stayed in self contained apartments on the ground of thr hotel which overlooked landscaped gardens which was lovely to wake up to. The deal we purchased was a girls night away - overnight saty including dinner and complimentary bottle of wine and also 2 treatments in the leisure centre (we opted for a massage and facial). The staff at the hotel were absolutely amazing, the only draw back is that the leisure facility is managed by a different team. On the day of our booked treatments, there was a bit of confusion which meant that we could only avail of 1 treatment in the ned, which was disappointing. However, to cheer ourselves up, we availed of the excellently priced afternoon tea (buy 1 get 1 half price!) which was fabulous. in passing we mentioned to the hotel staff about the mix up over treatments and the hotel manager arranged for us to be sent complimentary vouchers for another visit. All in all, in spite of the mix up, an excellent stay at a beautiful location with professional and friendly staff. Will definitely give it another visit.

I had this as a birthday present from my boyfriend and I took my Mum for her birthday present also as I always find I like to be with another person on a spa break. Elmer Court has the 'Wow' factor when you pull up, the house, buildings, gardens and surroundings are beautiful. The staff were very helpful. We were very impressed with our suite/room with ensuite and breakfast bar. We had everything that we needed to hand. We had a wander around the grounds which were all well kept and then went to the Leisure building for the first of our spa treatments. The massage and facial were great, so relaxing...I fell asleep!
We went to the Waterford Restaurant for dinner that is included in the price. It did take a long time in between courses which we're not used to but it was worth the wait...the food was delicious and plenty of it. The following day we went to breakfast in the Steak Spur restaurant and throughly enjoyed the range, quality and quantity of the food on offer. We went for a swim and then on to our manicure and pedicure, both of which were very good. We then sat in the relax room for an hour 'to dry'.
I would say that it was great value for money and I would definately take someone with me as mealtimes would feel strange on your own. There were a lot of couples and families with children, especially around the outdoor pool but they were no trouble.
