I have been twice now - firstly November 2010 and second time May 2012. Both times were fantastic - it is the best spa I've ever been too and it's just luxury. In November I went for a hen day - we had a treatment, afternoon and full use of the facilities. The manicure was fantastic and I was given a full bottle of Jessica nail varnish afterwards for 'touch ups'. The afternoon tea was also gorgeous - I think overall we all paid £75.
I went again in May 2012 on a £55 Whanda deal - use of facilities plus a light lunch. The lunch was lovely (not many vegetarian options though) - it was very delicate and 'light' (although we were a bit hungry after!!).
On both times we've enjoyed relaxing in the outdoor swimming pool, outdoor hot tubs and the inside rooms. I loved relaxing on the big comfy sofas, reading magazines and drinking tea in big fluffy dressing gowns.
I wouldn't hesitate to go ahead - I just wish I could afford to stay!!
We stayed for one night on a deal break. The large double bedroom was lovely but bathroom very small ( room 3 ) The spa was spacious with lots of comfy places to sit. The steam rooms ect good and we even managed to get into the outside hot tub but didnt risk the pool as it was a rather cold day!! The evening meal was delicous and the service top rate with friendly attentive waiters. All the staff in this hotel are excellent, well done.
Myself and a friend visited Verbena spa for the "two for one tuesday" offer and it was fantastic value for money! We received 2 1 hour treatments (body wrap and facial) which were bothe lovely and also had full use of the facilities, including the outdoor heated pool and hot tub, which were fab!
The spa is set in a lovely setting, with the gardens being well maintained and very aesthetically pleasing.
The staff were very attentive and looked after us throughout our stay and we felt truly relaxed and recharged by the time we left - which was our main objective!
Would definately visit again and next time stay overnight!
