Facilites are great, I would say above avarage and stuff are friendly and helpful. It does not get too crowded which is always great. (but depends on the time) I would recommend if the location suits. Classes are alright

A great place to get fit. Used a free pass to check out the place, and if it wasn't as expensive would have joined up. Clean, and wide range of equipment.
Would go back.

Me and a friend went and had a great day - nice gym (especially the club style facility) paid a little extra for a zumba class but it was worth it. I would recommend for weekend experience - there is just so much to do there.

I had this free trial to be used within 1 month which was not long enough as I had a foot surgery and could not do any sport for a few weeks and the only available time was during week end.
Unfortunately the Blackfrias branch is closed at week end therefore I asked if I could have an extention to my trial by 1 week.
Staff told me they could not do it and I should request it to Wahanda.
I was disappointed as I didn't do my 3 days trial and thought the staff could have been more friendly and flexible.

On my 1st day I wasn't impressed with the reception I received.
1) I wasn't asked what I wanted to acheive from the gym
2) I wasn't asked if I had any injuries
3) I wasn't shown around the gym
4) I had the impression there was a sauna/ steam room but there wasn't.
5) No staff on the gym floor except personal trainers who were occupied with clients.
This put me off returning on the 2nd day
On the 3rd day I took part in a Zumba class. I really enjoyed the class. The teacher was very good and I felt energised.
Throughout my visits I was surprised that no one came to tell me about membership options and prices.
I found the male members of staff on reception on Day 3, much more engaging than the female staff on day 1.
I strongly believe that first impressions count but unfortunately on this occasion it wasn't very encouraging. (apart from the Zumba class)

I think this club is handy if you work in Blackfriars. There is a beauty treatment room, the gym is spacious and friendly with swiss balls and latest equipment. There are power showers and ironing board and iron in the ladies changing rooms. The staff are very friendly and approachable.

Much nicer atmosphere than many fitness clubs - not quite so frenetic, hot and sweaty in the machine areas. Could have done with more warm-up space as I ended up in a cooll corridor when most mats were taken. Sadly the Pilates class I diid was too easy a level for me and they don't seem to do anything more intermediate, or at least, not when I can go. But worth a try if you're looking for a gym in the area.

Probably one of the nicest gyms I have visited recently, extremely friendly staff and not too busy. really good classes and enough equipment for a good work out. Highly recommended.
