The Zen Zone is Parkstone’s newest, dedicated Holistic Centre and Yoga Studio opened at the beginning of October 2008. Located in a two storey building the ground floor has three themed, fully equipped therapy rooms offering a wide range of holistic therapies, There is a reception lounge and specialist retail boutique. The first floor consists of a Studio used for Yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi classes with specialist Weekend Workshops. These include Baby and Infant Massage classes where parents can come to learn the benefit and the technique of how to massage their babies.
The Zen Zone has been specifically designed to provide the local community & vistors with a dedicated Centre for personal well-being, therapy and practice to help anyone find an oasis of calm in today’s hectic and challenging world. It offers a haven of tranquillity and its team of fully qualified Therapists and Yoga Teachers are on hand to offer solutions and techniques to combat and overcome the impact of stress in our modern lives. In the Studio there are daily morning and evening classes for Yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi . These offer many different options to pursue a programme for improved health, better well-being and relaxation. Whatever Yoga choice a someone may be looking for, Hatha, Astanga, Vinyasa-Flow or Sivananda they are all provided at The Zen Zone. There are even specialist classes for Singing & Chanting and Meditation.
At The Zen Zone the holistic therapy rooms are open from Monday to Saturday and the upstairs Studio runs daytime and evening classes from Monday to Friday. Anyone passing by the Zen Zone is invited to come in and view the Centre and to discuss whatever well-being needs they might have with the team of therapists and teachers
